i wasn't looking for it to be anime music or not. i just looked for one that was upbeat and had words that fit Honey's personality. and one i liked i guess ^^

When I say stereotypical, it just seems like everyone these days picks anime and j-pop as themes for their OCs.

After doing some research on nightcore, I'm not unconvinced it's excessively derivative.
