Maybe I'm strange but I actually don't mind if somebody glosses over my super-posts. It's the actual writing part that I like, not the one to two sentences that I might get in response (though the WTF's from a 20,000 + character post are hilarious). I mean there's only like 10 people in most rolepkays, so if you want all of your "work" to not be wasted you should write a book or something that might actually garner the attention.

Also, how do god-god battles work? What happens if one dies, does his killer get the portfolio? What if Vestec tries to kill everyone else, turning there domain into chaos?

What sort of Demigod are you going to be? As a demigod, your powers will be somewhat similar to that of your parents. A Demigod of Death would be descendant from Vestec (chaos) or Escre (life). A Demigod of the Air would be descendant of Undasis (who created the atmosphere).

It all depends on what you're going for, really :). After that, a god can make you.

Vestec's opposite, Alexavier (God of Order), is no longer in the RP. He may return at a later date, but I don't think you want to wait the weeks or months that may take.

You want my advice for choosing parents for a demigod? Just ignore their domains/portfolios and go for the ones that you think are cool/ would like to interact with the most.

I mean how did Ares and Hephaestus come from the god of the sky and the goddess of the hearth? There are plenty of examples of gods that are nothing like their parents.

I was going off of what the GM said about it, that the domain of the parents had to be taken into account.

EDIT: If his domain is really that obscure (that it can't be traced to any existing gods) then, yeah, he can probably just pick whatever

Also, because I'm a nitpicker about Greek and Roman anything, I must point out that Ares and Hephaestus are children of Zeus and HERA (the Goddess of Family and Marriage).

The Goddess of the Hearth is Hestia, not Hera. Ares and Hephaestus were never children of the Goddess of the Hearth.

I tend to use past tense when speaking about the Greek Gods, since they are no longer believed-in.

Is. She IS a virgin (as far as we know).

I think I've heard it somewhere, ya, but I never bothered researching it.

Did you know that some people believe Jesus and Dionysus are based off of the same myths? Both turned water to wine, both were the children of the most powerful God (Zeus for one, actual God for the other).

Did you know that Dionysus ordered some of his followers to cross-dress? Why? WHO KNOWS? (I do. It was because he was two-sided and bipolar, like the two genders)

If you ever do get into the Greek Gods, go for Dionysus. He's the most unpredictable and interesting.

EDIT: Dionysus once willingly allowed himself to be captured by sailors (who thought he was a prince), only so he could turn them into dolphins later. He was like the Vestec of the Greeks

EDIT 2: Jesus and Dionysus were also both born from human mothers, so there's that. I don't believe it, but it's always interesting to hear what other theories people come up with.

@Cyclone Spelling and Grammar: 8/10 (the longer a post, the more likely for one to make typos and mistakes)
Writing Quality: 10/10
Story Line Advancement: 8/10 (very impressed by how powerful the Tribe has gotten, as well as Ialu. Some things seemed a tad difficult to imagine though. The sun burn after the fire was ok, but the amazing amount both Ialu and the dragon managed to do during the fall down the mountain, and the accuracy of it all, was a bit baffling. The cold seemed to be far less effective after a while as well, especially by the end where both Ialu and the warband seemed fine despite the weathers. Also, that's one blindly loyal warband xD. On the whole though, it was a long post and the postives were far greater than the negatives xP)
Character Development: 9/10 (Nice, he has discovered the Mighty One and become more open, kinda, to advice)
Independence: 10/10

As for Evelynn, I wonder if @Pie Flavor is ok, she hasn't been on in three days and hasn't posted since Turn 1...
I think it's safe to say that, unless there is a very good reason, we've lost one of our only goddesses :\

Make sure you read the opening post (that's the first post of the OOC). Yes, ALL OF IT >D hehehe. It explains everything and the FAQ answers some extremely important questions, like who Thulemiz is.

A day or two at most passed. The one before ended saying that they weren't prepared for the winter, and winter came.

The next post should get through Vestec's night (to be fair, this post was originally supposed to get past that point as well...) and cover what they do with the dragon.
