That description was incredible. The twists and turns got me going, I never knew what was coming next. It was deep but approachable, feeling like a throwback to the military serials of the 19th century while still having the modern whiff of Patterson or Rowling. The prose was elegant, the occasional rhyming sections surprisingly well-integrated and the ending mind blowing.
The characters were a menagerie of stellar additions. The battle between Claes and Yang at the Pillar of Winter was particularly gripping, their stances on Paternal Autocracy really showing their characters in new lights. I felt like I was just along for the ride, and it was incredible. I loved, and lost, and loved again, and I didn't know I did until it was over.
11/10, best RP ever. It truly was The Future, the future of RP and literature in general.
