@Blubaron45 I planned for the history to be slowly unraveled, so I don't know quite what to say without spoiling too much.

How much could you post? Like most? A-at least a paragraph? If you don't mind me asking.

I can post about 3 paragraphs in just about a few minutes (and that's my minimum typically), although do not expect me to write too often because my college life at the moment is taking precedence. As for the history, I was referring to a backstory that does not correlate with the plot. Y'know, some basic information like lore (like events that happened in the past that don't shed too much light on the actual plot itself), factions in the city, weapons, wars, etc. What kind of city is Nepago - what country does it belong in? If any?

@Blubaron45 Alright so the world does take place in a hypothetical future where every worst thing that could have happened, has happened. World War 3, a Nuclear Holocaust, Widespread Nuclear Winter, and a sharp population decline. Sea levels has also sharply risen, reducing country landmass severely.

Technology has continued to advance, and history has been reset, with humanity collectively using the large conflict as a change to wipe the species onto a clean slate, resulting in history being rewritten, revised, or destroyed and changed, with little official records. Nepago is modern day Chicago, except this city overlooks a semi large body of water, and spanned underground due to limited habitable land. Cities like Nepago span world wide, acting as main hubs for population in the area, with others living outside of the city (known as Outlands) being a small part of the population, and are often disconnected from society.

Cities like Nepago are few and far between as quite a few areas are inhabitable, and the cities are the main source of activity. In the rp we'll span outside Nepago, but I can't guarantee we'll visit other cities. And there is a bit of a small...group...but that's for later. Anything else you want to know?

@Ladon Okay, since the plot will not be revealed until later, I won't bother to ask. As for the city of Nepago itself, what is the political ideology? Is it a semi-dystopian, totalitarian regime? Democratic? ... Egalitarianism? As much as I'd like to know more, I think I get the message so far for now: Our characters will be introduced as the plot slowly progresses.

There's government presence, with strict enforcement, but that's pretty much just it. Presence. You're not gonna have an officer jumping through your window pumping you with lead because you coughed.

I can't pinpoint a specific government type I'm afraid.

Appearance: I couldn't find a picture that made her look like how I imagined, so I'll just describe her. She's tall for her age with an average build. Not skinny, not fat. She has a heart shaped face with wide, blue-green eyes and small, full lips. She has high cheekbones, thin eyebrows, and a snub nose. Her black hair is shoulder length and curly. She usually has a grin on her face, and generally wears all black. Black tank top, black shorts, black trenchcoat and knee high combat boots. She wears a fingerless glove on her left hand.
Personality: Loud, blunt, sarcastic, loves to crack jokes, very inquisitive, sharp memory. She never forgets a face. Resourceful, can take care of herself, which she does, not having any parents.
Occupation: Living in the underground black market, Branden specializes in upgraded tech, both making and selling. She's a good businesswoman.
