Finn decided to give a less complex reply and just shrugged his shoulders.

"Just the usual superhero team bickering. Some superhumans can act so nineties at times" he replied to her causally and made the floating flower disappear.

"Rest assured you don't have to worry about me trying to kill you. Only one person truly deserves death..." he trailed off not wanting to go into too much detail about his past. He felt emotion rise within him and he quickly focused on keeping control of them so his magic stayed in check.

Eli woke particularly later than he usually does. He sat up in his room and looked around to get a grip on his surroundings. After looking around and noticing the freshly made bed, he then he remembered he was at a new facility, with new people and a new team. As he got up he rubbed his eyes and looked around his room. Although he had been told he could decorate it how he wanted, it was still pretty bland, everything except the comforter was the same as he had found it. After his assessment he decided to get up and go take a shower. After his shower he put on am navy blue v-neck t-shit, and some grey casual joggers.

As he left his room he had no idea what he should with the remaining time before the debrief. He had not explored the facility that much and only knew were the mess hall and teams common room. So he decided to roam around and see if he could find any of his other team mates. He is always being told by his therapist that he needs to learn how to interact with people more. As he was roaming he passed by the entry way to the kitchen and saw only two people. He began thinking of different ways to greet them and decided to go with the simplest one he could think of.

He approached them and did not say anything for a while, earning stares from both. The he spoke in a quiet tone "Hey....my name is Eli."

After 'wandering' the halls of the base for several minutes Nicotine finally managed to calm herself down enough to pull her body back together. Coalescing outside her room she carefully opened the door and peered inside to make sure Hardline wasn't in, not that she often was. Seeing the coast was clear the latin diva swept into the room, effortlessly gliding over to the array of paint cans and brushes she kept beside her bed before going to work on the walls once more.

Every time she started working on the mass of colours she felt her emotions running away with her, and it felt good to simply let go of herself and move to the calling of her heart. For what seemed like an eternity she let her eyes and hands move of their own accord, splashing the bright paints left and right, blending them together in a cacophony of shapes and tones until finally something seemed to take shape amongst the riot of colour.

Taking a step back she gazed over her work with a wistful, longing sigh. Setting the pallet down before sinking onto her bed, Nicotine braced her head on her hand as she stared into the image which had formed from her subconscious and knew what had really soured her mood in the kitchen.

Perhaps I should apologise? She wondered for a moment, questioning her overreaction to what could've just been a simple misunderstanding as she rolled over onto her back her eyes gazing up at the unseen ceiling. Screwing up her brow she shook her head, No, what he did was wrong, and he should be made aware of his mistake so that it doesn't happen again.

There was nothing to do now until their next briefing and so reaching out for the stereo system Nicotine started up her favourite collection of salsa tracks and dialled up the volume before letting her body dissipate into the air just enough to be able to feel the vibrations of the music ion every molecule of her being.

Cyn was deeply involved in her program but not so much so that she didn't notice when Fang landed near her. She really had no idea of how she should react towards him so she decided to treat it as if she were meeting a coworker on the job. She bowed slightly to him and then with a cheerful smile said.
"Hello I am Cynthia Yún and if it's not obvious I'm sort of new to this team thing. I mean it's not like I've never been on a team before but not the super kind."

She Blushed covering her mouth with her hand then continued "I suppose you're curious about me an possibly what I can do. Well as we are on the same team then I guess it wouldn't hurt to say that I can duplicate any fighting style or physical action I've observed only once. By doing this I have become a living encyclopedia of many forms of martial arts as well as an olympic class gymnast, broad jumper, high jumper, pole vaulter and myriad other physical types. I know it must seem as if I'm bragging but that isn't my intention. I guess I could blame it on the fact that I'm nervous and tend to rattle on if I'm not stopped. Please Stop Me."

Cyn finished then looked around for the hole to appear to swallow her up but was once more disappointed by it's absence.

Fang turned his head towards her when she started to talk, not smiling at her or greeting her in return and simply continuing to stare at her. She began to explain about what she can do, it was useful information to know so he didn't just walk away or anything. He listened to it and when she was done he thought about saying something about himself in return, but found it easier to do it non-verbally. He raised one of his hands before making his claws extend out from his fingers. They weren't all that long but long enough to be noticeable by the naked eye. He did a quick swipe in the air figuring it explained what he did well enough, before retracting the claws. Right after he did so the alert was sounded for the new team to go to the conference room.

The alert was a combination verbal order over the intercom as well a few beeps every now and then to remind the people that it was time. For any who didn't know how to get there, the various robots would point it out and even escort people if needed. Inside the conference room Vera waited, sitting at the head of the table lightly rolling a metal ball around the palm of her hand. She would give a nod to each of them as they entered but would wait for the whole group to arrive before saying anything important. Once everyone was there and seated the Soviet super soldier stood up and began to talk in a slight Russian accent.


"I trust you have all gotten acquainted with the facility as well as each other. You aren't going to be sent out in the field just like that though, you need to be tested. Some of you may fight crime back home and such but these aren't meta bank robbers, the stakes are higher and the situations more delicate. Delicate isn't my style, I prefer it rough and wild but that's why we have diverse groups. They put together a test mission for you, to test your ability to work together as well as make up plans in the field. Machines will simulate a hostile paramilitary organization utilizing alien tech, you'll be given basic information on their hide out but left on your own to figure out how to achieve your goals. On some big missions I'll accompany you, but for this test you'll be without me. The objectives are going to be destroying their means of being sent the alien tech as well as their means of communications. Your other objective is to locate and retrieve any documents or files dealing with the aliens as well as any devices of alien origin. How you will gather all of that will be up to you. Use your powers as you would normally on human targets, any that would otherwise not work will be simulated. It feels like it's the real thing, thanks to all the information we have on all of you. " She explained as a hologram in the center of the room showed the building in question. "When you are ready to go reach on the table and press your palm to the metal pad that should be appearing now. If there are any questions. You should ask them now."

"If you need a stealth approach, surely I would be the best candidate?" Nicotine commented as she twisted her hand around, letting it fade away to vapour before reforming it again. "And I don't suppose there's anything better to do around here."

Languidly the former model reached her hand over and touched the metal panel in front of her, realising after a moment there was still a dab of paint clinging to her fingers. Letting herself fade out for a moment Nicotine watched with a satisfied smile as the dirt simply fell away, landing on the desk messily.

"I think I would be best as a distraction. Although my powers work indoors, it woulds be very dangerous in a confined space. I will also work with the pirate on the destruction of the technology and our enemies." Eli said without a hint of emotion. He knew that if he got put inside trying to retrieve the alien tech he might hurt some one and leaves horrible first impression. Eli does not know how he felt towards these people, well he didn't know how he felt at all, but this mission had to be a success. He looked around and waited for objection. When there was none he place his hand on the metal pad gently.

Didn't usually sit, only simulated if she was sitting or laying most of the time, only actually laying on something, like a bed, if she was sleeping. Impulse was close to the door, perched up towards the ceiling as she watched everything. When it was time for the members to speak their concerns or questions, she raised her hand, trying to get all the attention. "Oh! Oh! Me, me! Question! This is a simulation, right? Okay, well, that'll make it a bit of a problem, but I have an idea!" She turned her head to look at the metal man, "Mr. Meltdown, riiiight? Well... this is a serious question as it might affect you... maybe it'll affect old biker beard too but yeah... my powers are quite limited to mostly big stuff... and I can do something but it might have an issue with you or your friend, and the biker dude. I can create a Chaos Storm... and depending if the base has any particular type of shielding... well if it doesn't, I can short circuit all their electronics. Like, no defenses, turrets, security systems, yadda yadda... though electronic doors like bulk heads and safety doors, and other electronic mechanisms will become a real hassle... and I don't know your friends type of electrical systems, or if it would affect you, or biker dudes... bike." She pulled her handsin, crossing them as she thought for a moment. "There's also a chance it'll create tornadoes, but pssh... that's completely ultra rare like that'd ever happen... hehehe" She waved her hand off in the crossed pattern as if to forget about it.

"There's just one very big issue if we do this... Each of the few big things I can do, I can only do once, like once a day. So we can't really fail it. Otherwise we'd have to go with another plan. Though I don't think my Chaos Storm would be seen as an attack, more weirdly natural. I don't use technology, my powers are of a divine entity. So stealth is still an option, it also would keep baddies locked in places we don't need to go, hehe! Whadoya think?"

"Mr. Meltdown, riiiight? Well... ...and I don't know your friends type of electrical systems, or if it would affect you, or biker dudes... bike."

From his seat across the table Meltdown smiled over at Impulse warmly. "No need to worry, the silver skin works bioelectrically to generate its own power. Any disruption should only last a couple of seconds at most until it regained power even if the pulse did manage to affect it. The same would go for Hardline's blood, although she may lose cohesion for a short while she'd quickly be able to recover and pull herself together."

Leaning forwards Hardline scowled, as if she didn't agree with Meltdown's assessment. "I'd totally lose control, and be reduced to nothing more than a pile of silver goo!" She said emphatically. "It would take forever to 'pull myself together' without assistance. No, I'd much prefer to keep well away from such things. If I take a few small items I could easily slip in through the ventilation system and make my way to a sensitive location inside the base, such as a comms centre or control room. Once there I'd be able to quickly subvert their hardware and have it working for us."

Cyn watched as Fang demonstrated that he was a feral type by flashing his claws and slashing at the air while not speaking a word. A difficult opponent to be sure she wouldn't wish to engage him unarmed.

It was as she was pondering Fang's possible fighting style that Cyn heard the assembly alert sounded. She hurried to the meeting as much out of curiosity as duty an was soon at her seat listening as Commander Zotova began her briefing.

She had to stiffle the urge to giggle when the Russian woman said she preferred it "Rough and Wild" and managed to keep it down to a bright smile. Cyn was used to a different form of leadership where all instructions almost always came in a quiet and tradition bound manner and such comments were avoided.

Then she began collecting the offered data as it came.

The objectives where sound for such a mission; Destroy the enemy's lines of communications, locate and retrieve all data possible as well as any alien tech. All of the objective where accepted as the paths to success in the Art of War.

Then one of Cyn's new teammates stood an shouted "FUCK YEAH! ROUGH AND WILD! BRING ON THE BLADES AND BLOOD!" This was enough to make her have to clamp her right hand across her mouth to hold a laugh from escaping. And it proved a good move when the wild one said she also wanted to be the most destructive.

Then Nicotine presented herself as the stealthy Infiltrator type and proved her quality by causing her hand to disappear. And after her was another who's ability wasn't useful in confined conditions.

Her next teammate to speak was positively spastic and for that reason adorable. She listened as she talked about chaotic effects possible when she used her power.

(T)"Well this should prove very interesting to observe and be a part of(T) Cyn thought as she placed her hand of the panel.

Finn listened to a couple of the others' enthusiasm and almost sighed. It wasn't just about being excited to see blood and fighting, it was also making plans.

"We should think this through carefully, if this is a training excercise then it's best that we try to not be as reckless as possible" he spoke up.

Bud was glad to finally be getting some action, but the sorcerer kid did have some bit of a point, but he prefered the idea of getting to show off some of his weapons and blow stuff up. When Nicotine talked about being stealthy, Bud realized that he wouldn't be any good in stealth, his powers were more obvious.

"I can tell you right now I'm no good at stealth and my motorcycle makes a lot of noise. I could be a good distraction as well" he said to them.

Fang didn't have much to say about the test mission being offered, something that was pretty normal for him. He listened to the others mentioned their roles but didn't say anything, though he considered weighing in when Finn mentioned needing an actual plan. He had never been much of a planner though, the group he used to run with would make the plans or at the very least point him in the direction of their target. He wanted to suggest they just do the same, but decided he would just follow where ever the most violence was at. He didn't need a leader or anything so he just pressed the panel and waiting for anyone else that needed to do so in order for them to start the mission. It sounded like it would be a good chance for him to at least show others that he was pretty strong and squash any ideas of others punking him. When he was in prison it was the only way he could operate quickly show he wasn't easy to bully and they would go back to messing with the weaker metahumans who didn't have their lackeys to protect them. While he waited he paid close attention to the others watching their body language and other thing else that could help him get a feel on them. It was seeming everyone was ready but Finn so he hoped that someone else would remedy his desire for a plan soon enough.

With everyone ready Vera reached over a placed her hand to a separate panel that appeared mid air beside her. The commander flashed them a smile as the conference room began to fill with energy, giving a very brief feeling of a minor static shock. Then they were gone, all of them still seated in chairs and around a similar table but without Vera around and instead of the walls they were out in a forest around early evening. The place was very much real, they could touch a tree and feel the wind just as any other forest. Any powers that relied on the weather would function and even nature based magic worked fine with no issues that could be felt or noticed. In the center of the table was the projection of the base showing it consisted of main building with another building for vehicles nearby. Beneath them both was a much larger underground facility though the projection didn't show any internal details. What was shown however were armed guards patrolling the above ground perimeter in pairs as well as standard lights and stuff to help focus on anything seen. There was no magic energy being simulated from the base but they would show the same signs that any actual human would to metahuman senses that could read or feel them. The facility itself was a very short distance away with sounds of the louder machines being clearly audible but not to the point where it would drown out any words. The objectives weren't displayed again but a message restated that they are to go about it how they would in the actual field, and while they can't actually die damage will result in pain and any normally fatal damage would be documented and held against their evaluation. This was an important test and would determine what kind of missions they would be trusted with and if they were the first to send to alerts or only used out of desperation. While they couldn't see her, Vera was monitoring them along with some members of Prometheus staff watching and listening to everything they said and did and taking notes accordingly.

Sighed, as it seemed she wasn't going to be of much help on this venture. "Well guys, everything I do is reaaaally destructive. Maybe I should just sit back and watch until the shit hits the fan? But... oh! You know... I have this cool trick... that if I can actually see a place by any means, I can... do this!" She raised her staff up, and her other hand more or less punched it. The top of the staff had a black circle, where her hand proceeded to punch through, but her hand didn't appear on the other side.

Her hand proceeded to protrude through the table, right in front of Meltdown, where it waved and then gave a thumbs up. "Literally, if Nici could get into the security room, I could do anything. Anything that uh... fits through this... hole" She giggled, thinking lewdly. "Like, drop in some sort of gas grenade, unlock or open a door. Pick up a gun and use it on someone... the possibilities are endless! If it's small enough, I can even take it out of the room!"

"If you don't mind, I think I'll go head and take a look around..." Before she'd even finished speaking Nicotine faded from sight, her constituent molecules breaking apart as she drifted on the wind towards the base.

In this form she couldn't really do anything, but she would be able to 'see' for herself if what the sensors had been showing was really the state of the base or not.

With her mist form spread as widely as she could make it while still being able to fully control herself, something she had enough trouble doing while in one piece, Nicotine gradually settled over the surface complex and began to work her way done the lift shafts, airducts, pipes and every other opening to the surface she could find.

@Wei Phoenix"I am sorry that I addressed you wrong Pirate Queen." He said to her with no tone at all. "I could lay down a heavy mist so that we have the element of surprise or bring in a thunder storm for the over all distraction factor. But either way one team has caver for their entry and the other has a major distraction." F7 said after listening to her speak.

To demonstrate, he took his gloves off and focused. After a few seconds fog slowly began to pour out of his hands and he willed it to surround them.

" It can be done on a more massive scale if you want. He said to them in general.

Some thing inside of him sparked awake. Something he had not felt in a long time; Excitement. It was faint but he knew it was there and it kind of scared F7. Maybe that therapist was right about human interaction.

Nici being so spread apart made her invisible to the human based eyes of the patrols who continued with their movements as if nothing was happening. The surface level was like the projection showed and what was likely expected, both guards and workers around moving things onto lifts and several vehicles sitting around unmanned outside a of a truck with items in the back. Shed' find it a pretty far way down to the underground portion of the facility, once there she'd find it like a less well funded version of Prometheus. Metal corridors leading to various rooms where soldiers and scientists worked on things and tested weapons, several rooms were so secured that even her air form couldn't slide through. Most other rooms she would be able to slip into most having only the standard guards around, none of them carrying any weapons that seemed alien by appearance. Very little of the base seemed out of the ordinary in fact, anything more advanced or crazy was either very well disguised or was sealed off in the more secured rooms. 4 in the west end and 5 in the east, were the rooms that her smoke form couldn't breach as well as the ones with the most security. A control room for most (but not all) of the base security systems were in a room at the start of the east wing, a few security guys monitoring cameras and computers while a few others with weapons stood inside. Maps and labels screens gave a better idea of what was what and clearer access to see inside the non hidden rooms, none of them showed signs of obvious alien technologies or presence.
