"Boom, sometimes it doesn't matter where someone came from, or how they got there. Sometimes things just happen, but its always for a reason, now quit complaining and get a move on, if we're lucky we can make it to Nu-Goro before nightfall." Raisa said somewhat annoyed at the small creature before shrugging her pack onto her back and getting ready to move. "Oh and stop screaming would ya?" she said bonking the fungui on the head lightly before heading in the direction to Nu-Goro.

@Eklispe
"Uh what is that thing in your pack"

Aaelgus pointed to the constantly moving pack on Raisa's back.

Rasia replied back somewhat irritably and kept walking, "No idea what you're talking about, probably dinner if we're lucky."

Boom hissed out, "It answers not!" The kokiri glanced towards the side, "IT answers not. It not answer!" The kokiri did not even notice the fact that it dropped its name to the most clearly a scout. Truly it would be a bad thing when it eventually reported the intel it gathered back to the main forces.

The Kokiri stared at both Raisa and No Point, "It must be watches." He gave a quick nod and hissed, "Must be. Must be." He kept a firm grip of his own sack. "Nu-Goro..." He spoke in a reverent tone. Boom slowly nodded at himself and spoke, "Yes. Yes, must go. Go now. ...Keep it watched. No let it report."

The diminutive creature snarled, "NO LET IT REPORT!" He shrieked out furiously. However, whatever dangers it presented would fall. After all, part of the Guardian and the forces had fallen. And hopefully, they would be busy on repairing the damages.

However, Boom knew well that they would keep a decent sized force to give pursuit. Boom was not going to get caught by them.

Altus looked down at the Kokiri and looked him in the eyes.

@Professor_Wyvern

"I come from Kakoriko village I used to live there my father was a great musician and my mother was a seamstress who cheated on my father,"

He smiled as he remembered the broken look on his fathers face.

"I have traveled around for many years I like working on my own but I notice things have become more difficult in the lands more monsters have encroached the land and I have worked to abolish some minions of evil things and it was no easy task I should say!"

Aaelgus stood up and brushed some hair aside of his eye and then looked back at the Kokiri named Boom and continued.

"Earlier you mentioned some group that had been following you people who are they I have not heard of a group of that sort and my memory is good"

Aaelgus pondered for a second then came to no conclusion for the topic.

"I can think of now group, I can see from how you acted they are very pestering and annoying by sending you spies and probably other troops of theirs that is why you view me with skepticism,"

He nodded because he knew the feeling.

"If I was in the same position trust me I would be doing the same!"

He looked at Boom and smiled.

"Any other questions you would like to ask Boom?"

"Can... can anyone undestand a WORD of this?" Dingle asked, admiring the pearl from within the cave before heading out, drawing her map from her trouserspace. They would have to return to spruce up the other Fountains. But for now, she supposed she could get the little Kokiri his bombs. However, first she'd have to draw up the map of the caves in the fountain for their return trip.

"I think it's trying to communicate with us, but none of what it says makes sense."

Mapmaking check.

Above average success in Mapmaking: decent map made

From what little of the caves were explored, a simple map could be made. It appears that, whatever is in this cave, it's all dead ends. However, a decent knowledge of the cave's innards would definitely serve the party well if they returned. After all, the best way to defend one's home is to know one's home.

As Dingle flexes her cartography skills, the Pearls at her side speak. They speak with neither voice nor words, but concepts.

A strong feeling of... Wetness? Indignation follows. Confidence wells up from beneath the heart. Grim satisfaction judders from the scapular on down, followed by immense surprise and sorrow striking like a spear to the heart.

Waves of abstract thought wash over the party, each one followed by another emotion. You feel your stomach drop as each thought invades your mind and overrides all other thought. Your train of thought is violently seized and derailed.

After what seems like an eternity of mental anguish, the waves of thought subside and the Pearls appear to dim. The Pearls appear to be satisfied, inasmuch as a pearl can look satisfied.

Rasia turned around annoyed, " The ghost guy? It wants to kill things that aren't us, let it come along, right now we're burning daylight so either make sure it doesn't follow us or leave him alone and get moving." She turned back and kept walking. She had conflicting feelings about going to Nu-Goro, on one hand she would be able to visit her home. On the other hand when they arrived she would have to deal with the Gorons and seeing her own poeple enslaved. She growled softly at the thought of it. Raisa decided she would simply deal with it when they arrived and just taken a step forward when suddenly she was assaulted by alien thoughts. Unable to keep her sense of self Raisa was forced to follow along with the strange thought waves, and when they finally vanished she found she had fallen to her knees. Rising and turning around she asked angrily, "What in the nine was that?"

Aaelgus gave a confused look at Raisa as she turned angrily and glared.

"Is there a problem?"

He asked.

Boom raised an eyebrow as Aaelgus discussed of the Kakariko Plateau, but for some reason he referred to it as a village. The realm of the Bulbin, the fierce creatures which the Ironwood Deku noted as vile creatures. Alongside, of course the actual knowledge Boom sought. The kokiri thought it strange that, such creatures would allow humanoids that weren't them in their domain to stay. Well as anything other than slaves and potential cattle in case the food coffers went out.

Plunging into the depths of his mind, he found the story full of strange details that made no sense. Boom knew that a Kokiri Scout would stick to a simple story, which wouldn't draw suspicion and could easily be forged. However, Boom also knew that they would know that Boom would come to such a conclusion. And knowing that Boom had come to such a conclusion, they would send someone who defied what Boom thought the scout would be. However, Boom was planned for that. Probably. And so was the Kokiri Band. Probably.

"Story odd." The Kokiri noted to himself as he cocked his head to the side and spoke again, "Worker and Tool of Vile Thingses?" Boom tilted his head to the side as he tried to wrap his mind around this story that was blurted out to him. Would a spy in good conscience blurt out it? Yes. Yes they would. Especially if they forgot their actual back-story assigned to them. "Story odd." Boom noted.

However, Boom did not have more time to think about such matters. Well he did, but right now his head was being wracked with pain. "IT SPEAKS ONLY PAAAAAAINS!" Boom shrieked out, before shrieking out something else, "NOT IT. NOT IT. WHAT IT!?" Boom slammed his right hand against his temple, while keeping a firm grip of his sack with his left.

"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the Kokri hissed out as he continued to feel such pain assaulting at his very mind. Eventually, it faded away. The kokiri stared with his pupils dilated, and began breathing in and out. Quickly he swung his right hand over his back and grabbed his sack once more.

"Place EVIL." Boom declared, "Evil Place. Badplace. Bad! Bad! Bad!" The creature hissed out, and quickly snarled. "Mountains good. Mountains not pain like here. Badplace hopefully keep them trapped." The Kokiri declared quite positive on the fact that they were being followed, as the verification of the stranger showed.

Boom glanced towards Dingle and shouted, "HAT. Walker of Woodses, Mountains! Make sure way right." And with that Boom skittered to the way he thought Nu-Goro Mountains would be.

Aaelgus felt the pain as well but he kept himself from screaming and he noted the Kokiri still had some difficulty believing him and when Aaelgus said "Kakoriko" the confused look on Boom's face Aaelgus figured it must be just ruins by now he was glad he grabbed his stuff from that place when he had.

Aaelgus put his hand to his head because of the pain, he looked over at the Kokiri screaming and the fact that their relationship was going to be hard so when push came to shove Aaelgus would only probably be able to prove himself only in combat against their pursuers he thought that the only viable way to prove he was not against them so he now tried to figure out what the source of the mind attack was coming from.

"Silence!" the warlord declared as he clutched his head. Alien thoughts, thoughts that were not his. He was strong, he was powerful, and he had mighty force of will, but not even No-Point could withstand the assault of the pearls. He clutched his head, willing the strangeness to go away. Whether or not it worked, he could not tell, but it abated.

"We must proceed to Nu-Goro! Their arsenal will be gratefully accepted! We will need it!"

"Oh, sack the hell up you bitches." Dingle said, returning the pearls to the mysterious trouserspace that was the hallmark of the Tingle lineage. It seemed the message of the pearls hadn't hurt her as much as the others, given that she was taking a bottle out and giving it to Boom. A horrendous mush of insect parts and raw meat, the healing properties of the drug could not be denied.

"Oh, you poor little thing. You feeling okay? Here, have some Ting."

Boom stared at Dingle as she was handing over a bottle. The diminutive Kokiri was quite sure on how to act. Namely it was something he wanted to do for quite some-time; he wanted to whine and cry like a coward. Sniveling Boom took the bottle with his left hand, as globules of snot were starting to go down his nose.

The mucus began smearing against his cheeks, mixed with a bit of tears from the bad, icky pain that came from the pearls. Light was able to gleam through the snot, revealing that much of it was still translucent. Inside there were much darker chunks.

"B-Boom headses h-h-hurts. Place Badevil." He snorted up, drawing some of the snot back in. He turned to his side and hissed, "Evil Bad! Mountains good. Mountains not pain like here!" Upon making that announcement, Boom quickly uncorked the Tingle and took a swig. "We want to g-gets to Mountain quickfast. A-and Woodses badplace, and woodses twistses! A-and Hat good Walker of Woodses! And we justs wants to get to Good Mountain. Woodses scary"

After all his diabolical machinations depended on the knowledge he was bound to receive there. Also the woods managed to deliver a pain to his head, thus confirming the suspicion that the Fungiwoods were the scariest of the woods. After all they didn't even need to use monsters to cause spooky things to happen! And Boom really, really wanted to leave now as quickly as possible.

The Kokiri finished the rest of the Tingle and dropped the empty bottle on the ground. With his free-hand he grabbed upon any piece of fabric he could on Dingle. "C-can we go now?"

Raisa sighed and turned around heading to where her home was. "Whatever lets get moving." she said dismissively before hoisting her backpack up a bit and moving forward, keeping an eye out for any trouble. The little Korki's quick victimizing of himself was annoying as was his sniveling.

Aaelgus nodded he agreed with Raisa but also he agreed with Boom be use this place seemed very evil and so he kept looking behind his back and squinting into the distance, and Aaelgus had his hand gripped tightly around one of his scimitars.

Aaelgus felt so uneasy traveling through here he had never been to such a land filled with oddities.

A posse officially formed, you set off in the direction of Mount Nu-Goro. Unfortunately, Mount Nu-Goro is located across the country, and you're in the single least-navigable portion of the Twisted Acres that you know of. Even getting out of the Fungiwoods would be a Herculean task, let alone making it across the Tumult and the Gerudo Tundra within the day. A mad plan is better than none at all, and stranger things have happened recently.

With a spring in your step, you set off through the dense mists of the Fungiwoods. That map Dingle made very succinctly shows the way out of the Fungiwoods. Unfortunately, it only shows the way out in the direction of the Kokiri Sinkhole. Still, the many landmarks and rudimentary trails shown on the map do well to let you know when you're going the wrong way. It should be as simple as finding which direction you went previously and doing the opposite, right?

Roll to navigate the Fungiwoods using a relevant Cliche. Score to beat: 14. Use the Diceroller on Orokos and link the results here. The person who rolls the highest will be the "Leader" for this scene, and part of everyone else's rolls will be added to the Leader's score.

The creature's gaze darted from spore-covered object to spore covered object. Boom's plans involved the key step of successfully getting out of the woods. And since he wanted to get out, caring a great good deal about avoiding certain areas upon exiting, it did in fact matter which way he went.

After all, Boom would not dare of willingly returning to the Kokiri Sinkhole until he fulfilled his machinations. As such in his skittering fleeing, he had to keep a good focus on the markings which led to certain death.

And so, with a sense of the utmost tact and grace- he fled in a mad spree away from those markers in a desperate attempt to get out of the horrific and nauseating woods. "Skreeeeeeeeeee! Badwoodsesbadwoodsesbadwoodsesbadwoodses"

Of course the Twisted Acres were called the Twisted Acres for a reason. And simply escaping by means of a panicked induced flight response, would probably not be a sophisticated enough method to get out of the woods. Of course it would not stop Boom from continuing this ingenious escape plan.

Raisa sighed, the korki really was a strange one. Though she didn't know the way from here to her homeland she was confident, she could find a way there. At the very least if she failed perhaps someone else knew the way better than her.
