Uh maybe we should wait till I get to your car because I don't feel really comfortable taking this off till I am not in a public setting but it is easy to cover outside of a car because if I went inside it would smell like beer all night and I am sure you don't know how hard it is too get beer put f a car. Jess started blushing and getting nervous with her speech and started talking faster when she noticed her shirt is starting to get see through but Adam was being a gentlemen and didin't point it out even though Jess is pretty sure he noticed. She is very glad the darkness of night is hiding her blush though.

It is a guess it's a good thing I left the pendant at home huh? Not that I care about it's opinion one bit frankly, but we are required to take care of the thing, and a minor dousing it in alcohol is probably not their version of keeping it in perfect shape.

Caden was wandering mindlessly, deciding whether he was willing to risk one drink before driving home later. Telling himself it couldn't hurt, the boy began making his way in the direction of the beer. He had only reached the outskirts already when a girl slammed right into him. The force knocked him back a step and the result was beer spilled all over the both of them. "I'm so sorry, I should have been paying more attention." He stumbled through his sentence hoping that he hadn't upset her. Much to his surprise she was rushing through a similar apology which ended with her name and number written on his hand. "Wait, you don't have to-" Caden spun around to stop the girl from running off but he'd already lost her in the crowd.

"I'm here for all of ten minutes and I end up spilling Jess' beers... Of all the people." He sighed and fixed the beanie that had shifted out of place. Caden continued mulling around, deciding that his encounter with Jess was the universe telling him not to drink and drive. Through all of the mayhem, he hadn't noticed his necklace had untucked itself and now hung in plain sight, flashing its dark colors in the dim lighting. Not even five minutes later he turned and slammed right into another girl, reaching his arm out to steady her while his head spun. "Not again... I'm sorry." He groaned, looking up just in time to see her staring at the color of his necklace before running off. "Damn this light, how am I supposed to apologize to her properly. That was Adelisa right? Isn't Blake friends with her?" He mumbled to himself, backing his way out to the outskirts of the crowd once again. He whipped out his phone to text Blake, but remembered the number written on his hand. "Should probably text her now in case the number washes off." He entered the number into the phone with a short message. Sorry about earlier. Don't worry about the shirt. Sliding his phone back into his pocket, Caden made his way to the edge of the beach to watch the waves, kicking off his shoes to the water could run around his ankles.

Adam smiled crookedly and said "it's fine. You can just put it over your shirt for now." He removed his leather jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders. "There." He smiled at her. He knew she was a bit uncomfortable, seeing as her shirt was becoming more and more transparent, but Adam wasn't going to make her more embarrassed. It wasn't who he was.

Adelisa watched as Caden walked off from behind a crowd of jocks. She sighed in relief and made her way back to Adam and Jess. When arrived, Jess was wrapped in Adam's jacket and Adelisa smiled. She said "here's your water, Jess." She glanced at Caden for a second and Adam noticed her pale complextion becoming paler. He asked "is everything alright?" Adelisa snapped out of her daze and looked back at Adam.

She said "I… um… I may have found another person with my necklace." Adam's eyebrows rose in shock.

Jess felt her phone vibrating in her hand as she heard her Psycho Ringtone blaring, and it was a text from Caden, the same guy Adelisa just looked at saying had her necklace.Oh wait is that the guy with your necklace? I gave him my number! his name is caden I bumped into him and spilled the beers i was going to offer to be his designated driver and take him back to my house with us, but i won't id you both don't want me too. Although if you both actually believe in this necklace thing it might be a good idea for you to meet him Adelisa.

Jess decided to offer Caden a chance to have a free designated driver and actual place to be safe tonight at her place with Adam Adelisa.

Hey Caden it is Jess. Anyway if you don't want me to pay for the shirt atlas let me be your designated driver, and you can stay at my place tonight. My friends only two will be there, and one is her brother so don't worry. I will make us some real cocktails and you will have a safe place for the night. I will drive Adelisa And adam and you there in their car then walk back and get your vehicle. I don't want you driving drunk.

Adelisa looked at Jess and shrugged. "I don't care. I'm just… nervous I guess? What if the necklace thing is real, you know?" Adam sighed and said to Jess "what she's saying is she doesn't mind. At all." Adam looked up at Adelisa and said "weren't you complaining that you'll never find that person? Well, now you have, so take your chance."

Good because I already invited him over. But I will say. Do not rely only on the stupid necklace. View that as an icebreaker. Do not only give the necklace the power. you are the one with the ultimate choice. Understand? Both of you, understand? I don't want the thing ruining your lives.

Caden's phone buzzed in his pocket, drawing his attention away from his peaceful thoughts. Reading the text, Caden laughed to himself. It wasn't as if he'd been drinking all that much, but who was he to turn down an offer like that? Not to mention he had to really apologize to whoever he'd slammed into (for the second time). He wasn't entirely sure but he was could have sworn that it was the same Adelisa that Jess had just mentioned. Okay, that works. Where should I meet you? He replied as he stepped out of the water and grabbed his shoes, letting his feet sink into the sand as he slowly approached the rest of the party.

By the docks you will see a guy with a guitar, his twin, and me.Jess sent it to Caden glad he accepted her offer knowing this will also help her friends.I sent him back a text he is on his way here.

Caden looked around, taking him a few moments to spot the dock before he began the short jog over. "Sorry about the shirt again, I'm clumsier than usual tonight." He chuckled nervously as he apologized to Jess for the third time. "I appreciate the place to stay for the night."

Then she introduced Adam her twin. And i was in a hurry trying to get these two knuckleheads birthday beers so i was at fault too so its ok. So Adelisa And Adam where is your car? Take me and Caden to it please so I can drive all of you too my place.

Adam smiled and stood up. "Hey, man. What's up?" He moved his guitar around his back and stuck out his fist for a fist bump. Adelisa smiled softly and said "hi" before sending a playful glare Jess' way. Adam said "you guys can follow me!" Adelisa smirked slightly at Adam's happiness. He got in a full day of practice. No wonder he's so happy. Adelisa glanced up at Caden every once in a while before looking over at Jess and saying "what's the plan tonight?"

Caden returned Adam's fist bump, noting the presence of a guitar for later conversation. Looking at Adelisa and Adam, it was pretty clear that they were related, however their demeanors suggested that they were quite different from each other. Every so often Caden would cast a glance between Adelisa and Jess, trying not to focus on either but remain attentive to both. "Twinmobile has a good ring to it." Caden chuckled, remembering that he'd parked his own car close by.

"Yeah! I take all the pictures for the school paper. That's where I know you from. I'm sure I've taken your picture a few times... Oh gosh. That sounds creepy." She hid her face and laughed. "I'm also president of the Spirit committee so all those pep rallies, I planned them all." Lorelei said with a nod. "I stay busy. So Pete, what's your family like?"

"That's not too bad. I could of thought of something creepier. Like you took a picture of me sleeping? That would count as creepy. "He said laughing. "Yah you did take my picture for that football game." He said remembering her now. He had a strange memory "in one word I would use... Crazy. "He said laughing still. "I mean they seem to understand fish better than people. What about you? "

"I understand crazy." She nodded with a small smile. "My parents aren't home. My mom is a big lawyer and my dad is always working up at the hospital. I just usually stay home or stay with Blake." Lorelei looked up at him and sighed softly. "Its hard being alone. It's hard being the Chance girl. God, the only reason I'm even saying this is because I have a smidge of faith in this necklace and I've had a bit to drink." Lorelei looked down at her necklace and bit her lip, holding back a smile.

Adam walked them to his truck and placed his guitar in the back of his truck. He turned to Jess and said "don't hurt my baby. She's precious." Adelisa rolled her eyes and said "just like everything else that you touch right?" Adam grinned and nodded.

But first I need 2 towels. One to wrap these beer soaked clothes in and one to put around me while I drive. Adam you got 2 towels or blanketsin here I could use? Never mind I will take the 2 on the beach crumpled up over there.Jess then ran and got the two towels. one she held with her teeth neer the car as she took the Jacket and her now completely transparent shirt off while covering up. Then wrapped the soiled clothes in a towel and wrapped herself in another.ok guys y'all buckled up? Well Here ya three go now get to know each other and don't drink till I get back.

Jess drove them straight into her house and unlocked the door and let the three giests in and showed them to the couch. Then she ran to her room changed shirts and got the licence plate make and model of Cadens car and told the three to not drink anything till she got back because she had to be careful. Then she let them free as she walked back to go to the party and drive cadets car to her house. Said she will be back in about an hour or so.

Adam looked in his trunk and picked up a sheet he had in the truck. "will this work? You can use the leather jacket to wrap yourself in and use the sheet for the seat until we get there."

Caden adverted his eyes as Jess situated herself, taking off the beer soaked shirt and wrapping herself in a stolen towel. Luckily for him, his clothes hadn't been too badly soaked. They would probably stain but there was no worry of ruining the birthday guy's car. Settling into the car he thanked them for the ride again, making himself as small as possible despite not taking up much room to begin with. "So you guys seem really into music. What style do you prefer?" He asked, trying to make conversation with the twins.
