"I understand crazy." She nodded with a small smile. "My parents aren't home. My mom is a big lawyer and my dad is always working up at the hospital. I just usually stay home or stay with Blake." Lorelei looked up at him and sighed softly. "Its hard being alone. It's hard being the Chance girl. God, the only reason I'm even saying this is because I have a smidge of faith in this necklace and I've had a bit to drink." Lorelei looked down at her necklace and bit her lip, holding back a smile.

Pete looked down at his own necklace. "I believe in it. This all can't just be random, right?" He asked looking at his reflection in the emerald. It was quite odd but something felt off about this emerald. His uncle had said when Pete showed him it.

"I used to travel with my parents but that doesn't happen anymore. I'm too old to do that. Can't miss all that school. I think this will be good for the both of us. "He said mostly to himself. "Wanna go for a swim?" He said picking her up quickly and running towards the water. He held her above the water. He had a sly grin on his face.

Lorelei let out a small scream and laughed. "Pete!" she mustered out. "Dont drop me, please!" The blonde pleaded, holding onto him tightly. "Please! Its going to be cold and Ill die! We just met! You can't let me die!"

Pete laughed. "The Arctic is cold. This isn't that bad. "He said not letting her go. "Fine... I won't drop you. I can't let my true love die of a cold. "Pete said carrying her back to the shore. "If you have guessed I'm a bit crazy about the ocean. " Pete said letting her down. "So what do you wanna do?"

After Jess texted Caden she decided tip invite Ryan. Letting her know they where art Jess house and she wants her to come tip the private no parent safe private party of hers and sleepover. She really hopes Ryan can come. She proceeded tip drive vey carefully back to her house. And went inside.Fifteen minutes to a tee! So what do the b-day twins want to do first drink our do something?

"You're perfect already." She laughed before she planted herself on the ground. "Hmmm... Wouldn't have guessed?" Lorelei said playfully, leaning against him. "Ever been crab hunting?"@Avanhelsing

Pete laughed a bit. "I'm the kid of two Marine Biologists. I'm a champ at crab hunting. But we could make this a challenge. First to catch four crabs wins?" He offered blushing a bit when she leaned on him.

"Sounds like a deal." Lorelei had always been competitive. "And what if you lose?" She raised her eyebrow with a smirk. He may at the beach all the time, but she could totally take him. "What if I lose?"

Raleigh sat on the dock and pointes at Lorelei and Pete. "Oh look at them. HEY! GET A ROOM!" He yelled, just wanting to push their buttons.

Pete looked over at her." If I win you give me a kiss. I don't know if you win. "He turned to Raleigh. "No need to be jealous, Rai. "He yelled back at his friend. Pete was clearly distracted.@madclaire

"If I win, you get to kiss me. Either way, we both win." She grinned and started running to get a head start. "I'm still going to beat you though!" Lorelei yelled, picking up a small crab.

It hadn't really bothered Ryan when Jess left, she'd waved happily, then slowly waltzed her way home. Jess had mentioned a party on the beach, but it really wasn't Ryan's sort of thing. And anyway, she needed to train.

Reaching home however, came with a text from Adelisa, something about getting her backside to this party. With a sigh and a good-natured groan, she obliged, heading off down to the beach.

Having wandered round the beach, weaving carefully between people, she had searched for Adelisa and Jess to no avail. Dropping her self in the sand, she muttered a single choice obscenity, nothing too bad, just… sour. Shrugging she decided to head home, nothing to be gained from staying here, when her phone chirped, telling her of yet another text. Well ain't I popular? she thought, tugging it out and reading the text from Jess. "Oh come on" she laughed, pulling herself up and shedding the party, heading out across town, by foot, again, to get to Jess's house.

A minor, uneventful hike later, Ryan reached Jess's door. knocking once, she let herself in, slipping quietly through to the lounge where everyone else was. "hey guys" She grinned leaning against the door frame, "I thought you were trying to lead me on a chase, first the beach, then Jess's house, next would be school, ……or something." she had delivered that with a vaguely straight face, but really couldn't hold it anymore, letting her grin inch it's way back onto her face. "But really, Happy Birthday."

Well I am glad you made it Ryan! Meet Caden Black, and you know Adelisa and Adam Jacobs the birthday boy and girl! So Ryan you want a lil somethin somethin to drink? You know I rule at making any kind of coctail. I need to be a bar tender it would work.

Ryan grinned maliciously, "Do you have coffee?" She didn't drink, it was just easier to keep to a no alcohol policy.

Yes I do! Now on the rocks or flat?(Iced or hot)And do you want it carmelized, mocha or vanilla? (Chocolate carmel or vanilla creamer)

Caden adverted his eyes as Jess situated herself, taking off the beer soaked shirt and wrapping herself in a stolen towel. Luckily for him, his clothes hadn't been too badly soaked. They would probably stain but there was no worry of ruining the birthday guy's car. Settling into the car he thanked them for the ride again, making himself as small as possible despite not taking up much room to begin with. "So you guys seem really into music. What style do you prefer?" He asked, trying to make conversation with the twins.

Adelisa looked up and smiled at Caden. "Mostly rock, but we do a bit of pop stuff if we like the song." Adam smirked as he sat in the passenger side and waiting for Jess to take her to her house. They were soon dropped off and Adelisa asked "so, what do you like to do?"

Before he could answer, Ryan and Jess showed up and Adelisa smiled. She didn't like drinking much, so she'd just take sips of whatever concoction Jess made. Adam grinned at the thought of a cocktail. He really wanted something.

Ryan just gawped. There were so many ways to drink coffee? She normally made it at home with minimal fuss; coffee in the plunger, honey in a cup, with milk, ginger, cinnamon and butter; real easy. "Uhhh……" she paused, pondering, "Normal coffee?" she questioned, hoping that was a thing.

Fine I wont make bar coffee.

Jess went into the kitchen and used a one cup coffee maker to get Ryan her coffee.

She came back with Ryans Coffee.

Now Adelisa name yor favorite cartoon/comic character and I will make a coctail for it! You too Adam.

Jess remembered she promised her mom when she was home she would wear her annoying purple pendant so she quickly ran up and got the violet disgrace as she grimaced and put it on and came back down stairs explaining she promised to wear it at home if she doesn't take it out which she did not.

"Thanks" Ryan grinned taking the cup from Jess. Clamping her mitts round the warm mug, she just held it under her nose for a few seconds, letting the divine smell wrap round her nose, before lugging a good mouthful of the stuff, grinning in delight. It didn't have quite the bite her ginger and cinnamon infused ones from home did, nor did it have the wisps of honey or the greasiness of the butter, but it was still stunningly good.

She laughed a little when Jess ran and fetched her necklace, suddenly remembering that Adam and Adelisa would have probably gotten their necklaces today. Dropping herself down on a couch she asked "Oh, yeah, you guys got your necklaces today, right? Can I see?" She might not believe in this mess, but she was still amazingly curious as to what they all looked like. "Soo…… found your other half yet?" She joked, she didn't really think there was any possible way for them to have already found their so called soul-mate.
