Order 66 executed. Temple sacked. Jedi down. Survivors are loading into LAATs to escape the area.

Succinct? I should say so. :P

First question about the 'fixed bio'; What empire? there was no empire until Palpatine reformed the republic into it at the end of the clone wars at this stage in star wars history.Second; as has been mentioned before, jedi pupils are usually trained from birth and no later than age 5 I believe by the order at this point in history. learning mapping and pranks on soldiers at that stage in life seems rather far fetched. This is of course just my opinion on the matter, sep and caboose are the definitive judges. On another note I should be posting again in the next day or so, work has been killing me the last month but its started to slow down again so I have more time to relax and focus on rp's.

Sorry im more of a old rebulic sort of guy, but is there some way aroud the 5 year age. And the rebulic was fighting someone, be it sith or empire. When I wrote sith I didnt mean jedi, infiltraitors are spys.

As the story takes place during a scene of Revenge of the Sith, the Galactic Republic is currently engaged with the Separatists, formally known as the Confederacy of Independent Systems. However, the war is virtually over due to the recent deaths of both Count Dooku and General Grievous, the main leaders of the CIS war machine.

As Gat and Sep (our GM) mentioned, the Jedi Order currently trains its members from a young age. We know from The Phantom Menace that the Jedi Council even rejected Anakin Skywalker for training due to his age, only relinquishing under pressure from Obi-Wan Kenobi. Most any exception to the 5 year age barrier would challenge on-screen canon and make for a nonsensical story.

Ultimately, like Gat said, the decision rests with our GMs, but you might benefit from considering what your character would be like if they had grown up in the Jedi Temple. Your character, as written, is one that has already had many life experiences, but imagine the possibilities of writing a character with none. Their first foray into the greater world is ushered out by the pain and fear of Order 66. That's what we're writing here.

To the rest of you, apologies for not posting. Jake and Caboose, I know I owe you responses, just hold tight. I have an exam this week and a group project, but I'll try to manage a post out tomorrow.

I will be on the internet in a couple of minutes (properly).

I am going to sort shit out and make sure we keep going. We are slow the now, but once we are FREE of our Coruscant bonds I can pair people up in terms of activity.

Reganza said History: Targus's father was a infiltrator for the empire, being born on ship, Targus never got to see much of the outside world. His monther died birthing him, and his father was always out on mission. So Targus spent his time exploring the large ship, where he found maps and coppied them, and adding secret pathways. He constantly played pranks on the soldiers. Learning the ins and outs if the ship, he spent alot of alone time in ducts, and airways.

Then while all was peice and calm, the republic attacked his ship, everyone scrambled, Targus felt his world collapse. He passed out. When he woke he was in coruscant, under rebulic supervision. He dreaded through school and the labours task they put him through. Eventually, he was discovered force sensitive. Put through training he now learns his new abilltys

-Separatists, not Empire.
-Born on ship? What ship.
-Clicheeeeee, but meh.
-How can you make secret pathways to a ship?
-I am surprised that they were not captured...
-Why when on Coruscant after requiring to be under constant supervision and school would he suddenly be put into the Jedi Order at the age of 11.

Nah, join at 5 like everyone else.

*shrugs* TOR-style characters don't work so well in ROTE era, it seems. It's like the Jedi got stricter over time Dx
...Also TOR is frickin' AWESOME!

And Jordan don't worry about it, patience is the way of a Jedi! ^_^

TOR is pretty cool, and they did get stricter as they moved further and further away from the way of the Jed'aii.

I just like how the Jed'aii were grey and then they split into the Jedi and the Dark Jedi who became the first Sith(as in from the Sith Order)

Since I haven't killed him off yet, would anyone (Sep?) care if I swapped out which youngling I was writing? Ever since my last post, I feel like I've been writing the wrong character. I hate to seem fickle, but if its permissible I think I'd prefer to drop a CS for the Nautolan initiate that's been with SJ since his intro post and have SJ be the "Jimmy"

Sure, whatever you want to be the Jimmy can be the Jimmy.

I will get to killing off people once the new folk have finished any editing they have to do then I will intro them and join them in with everything else in one swell swoop.

He has 14 stubby tendrils that hang from the crown of the cranium, decorated with reed rings. In lieu of the traditional youngling robes, Zak wears a leather, sleeveless tunic that is better suited for wear in aquatic environments. In temperate, warm, or hot climates he typically goes barefoot.

Level: Initiate (Jedi youngling)

Force Abilities: Force Speed, Telekinesis, Force Sense, Basic Mind Trick

Non-Force Related Skills: Basic Mechanical Knowledge, Basic Knowledge of Computers, Novice Understanding of First Aid.

By the age of three, Zak had been identified as Force sensitive and was taken into the custody of the Holy Order of Jedi Knights to be trained as a Jedi youngling. As of 19 BBY, Zak was part of Clan Womprat in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, which was under the care and supervision of a Thisspiasian Jedi named Azul Gol.
