An excellent addition with magazine detail. I might put a bit more detail in the guns we can loot or possibly purchase later in the rp as well just to spice things up.
For now, i'm contemplating getting an IC post up already, or waiting to see if a few more character sheets come in. I'll probably wait since I know we'll have at least one more character other than Diabolic's character, and quite a few people from the interest check haven't checked in yet either. I don't know about them though... In a couple of hours I may write something up. We'll see how things go.
I think it's useful to also bear in mind that the bigger races and the robots can wield heavier weapons to boot. I was tempted to equip Sulla with a grenade launcher, like a rotary mag type, but held off-- heavy firepower can always come later, but I think a grenade launcher is huge tactical flexibility and would love to experiment with different loads in the course of the RP.
As to an IC, I have found in my time that it's better to go ahead while you have excitement than to wait for people that might or might not submit. I used to take time and wait for people to submit characters and get all I could. Now I go with the people that submitted quickly because they're usually the ones raring to go. That's just my two cents from what I've seen GMing, it's your game and your call.
Edit: Also, by way of disadvantages, I added something about how the typical medical treatments for humans, particularly drugs, may or may not be effective on Sulla due to altered physiology.
