Max and Vigil are a bit preoccupied at the moment, but they will be noticing it soon enough.

Indeed, If you read between the lines in our post we've purposely not included any form of electrical lighting for that very reason. Like Vigil has to use a lighter or moonlight to see, Max's night vision kicks in.

They simply might not know why it's so dark yet, but they are certainly currently affected by it.

I'm sure others have or will notice it too. If not, some buildings might have back up generators as a reason.@DJAtomika

Just popping in to say, I'm heading off on a small trip with the fam for just this weekend, so I'll be absent for a little while longer. Sorry about that :( Everything has been really busy and great and exciting recently, so I've been pretty absent from here, but I don't want you all to feel like I'm neglecting the rp. But I do want to enjoy my vac, so even though I will have wifi, I won't really be active till Sunday at the earliest, but most likely Mon/Tue.

Looking at the latest post by the bellsprout though, is it like officially the full moon already? The last part said it was "the night of the wolf" when the electricity went out.

This is going to affect two characters quite drastically if it is and we might have to change our posts much if that was indeed the case. It's going to take some work.

We've got a whole city to fill up, so we're always looking for more.

The technology is modern, so you could have a prosthetic arm, but it couldn't fire rockets or anything.

Well I have been considering a character which could fit nicely into the current cast and have some role in the ensuing chaos.
So far I have thought of two, firstly a human serial killer, sophisticated and insane to the highest level, not directly involved in anything - but a nice red herring perhaps especially for the detective types. Leaving bodies and crime scenes in his wake, his deceased wife (a fabrication of his mind, to him she is alive and with him still) is with him and the main cause of his psychosis.

Or secondly a 'possessed' human psychopathic drug addict, perhaps working for one of the factions or as a mercenary type. Regular drug user of all types, using the boons they offer combined with his somewhat unstable companion - a demonic type entity which inhabits the shell of his mind, to compete with the otherwise more deadly other races throughout the city. The entity could have been 'obtained' against his will in a failed spell or summoning, and what is left of him is now split vying for control - something along those lines.

Either of those sound appropriate? Any feedback or suggestions would also be very appreciated.
