Hello everyone, this is Elementals: Void Reign, the sequel to Elementals: Void Assault. This has already been started however many members have dropped out and it seems like the remaining players aren't ready to let it die just yet. So, I have made this thread to make it known that we are open and are looking for new players! This is the story so far-
It’s been 20 years since the events of the Elementals, the story of a group of mere kids bestowed with the power to control an element of the world each: Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, Plant, Lightning, Shadow, Ice, Light and even Metal by the Goddess Kyra, Mother Nature herself. The world they were tasked to save was a polluted planet Earth, stark and barren with landfills spanning the earth and a bleak sky tinged with green and yellow mixed together to surround it. This was caused by the Vygorns, an alien race set to dominate the world from the inside, disguising themselves as normal human beings and taking positions of powers in our Government with control of the Void, an unnatural power which was the polar opposite of everything Kyra represented, a power impure, corrupting and stronger. The two sides clashed together in battles, many of the elementals fighting bravely and falling in battle. The final elementals left was the Ice elemental, Cora; The Fire elemental, Yahtzee; The Light elemental, Phil and the Water elemental, Will. Will was probably the proudest of his powers and the most willing to fight the stronger force in the name of Kyra, a perfect weapon for the Vygorns to use for their own use.
Will was captured by the Vygorns and was subjected to raw Void energy, turning him into the right hand man of Vrail, leader of the Vygorns and goes by “the Director”. Will was sent to not only stop the Guardians of Nature but to destroy them. Will successfully completed his mission with only one to escape, Phil. Phil has set his own agenda to scour the globe and find more Elementals, some saying he is the “Successor of Kyra”. Will was never heard from again, but rumours spread from those that news of the Vygorns presence that Vrail had suddenly disappeared and a new, powerful Vygorn had appeared, able to bend water and void energy to his will and hid his face behind a mask. Suddenly, the Vygorns became present to the world as they announced themselves. At the head of this emergence, the masked Vygorn himself. They had cleaned the world and removed the pollution but instead turned the entire world into one mass network of cities, towers reaching the heavens and winding streets and alleys that had replaced the garbage and rundown buildings that had once decorated the Earth. The cities are policed by Vygorns, and in Atlanta is the “VCT” which stands for Vygornian Control Tower, where the masked Vygorn resides and take control over the world.
It is up to you, the new elementals to fight back and turn the world back to its natural state where life was free and colourful instead of the bleak world of grey and oppression you live in now. However, the Masked Vygorn has set up his own special forces, ready to hunt you down.
Right now, the current Elementals, lead by Phil, are at a warehouse not too far from the city of New York. This warehouse is owned by the Renegades, a militia-like force who is working to fight back against the Vygorns, and eventually take Earth back. At the same time, the Masked Vygorn has assembled his own version of Elementals, The Anti-Hygrons. A group of Vygorns hand-picked by the current leader of the Vygorn forces.
