“I don’t have any parents,” the girl answered, though she seemed unfazed by the reality of that statement. “If I did, I don’t remember them. Iredele is the only known village still populated with normal humans around here. But there’s no need to be concerned for my life. The monsters stay away from me.”

The girl stood up straight and offered Tatsumi a hand to lift him up. A small smile graced her lips and something seemed to flash in the low-light for a brief moment. As if recognizing this, the girl unconsciously blinked before reaching her hand out to him further.

“My name is Maribel. Sometimes I visit this village to take a look at the citizens living here. They’re weird people, but they mean well. They don’t get in each other’s way and there’s rarely ever a fight going on.”

While the girl was conversing with the sad-hearted man, two Hunters were returning from their trip to the Temple. And while that was going on, a certain beastwoman was about to get lucky tonight and have her way with some poor fool. That only left Jenniver and Leo to stand in the middle of the town square. That was perfect because a stranger was quickly approaching them with faltering steps.

He wore a standard suit with a tie, black fedora placed atop a crown of equally black hair. His right eye remained firm and closed while his left revealed a sickly hue of green panic that darted from Leo to Jenniver a mile a minute.

“Leo you idiot! What did I say about getting yourself involved with rituals? You know the God Hand only come back, and in greater numbers! This is only going to put us back a stage and…hello there. Excuse me miss, but who are you?”

The tall man in black looked Jenniver over once before a tired sigh escaped his breath. Honestly, yet another Hunter? Didn’t Iredele deserve enough ill omens? The man didn’t even seem to care that a woman had just committed suicide in his public well.

“Ah, forgive me for my rudeness young Hunter! You see, I am the mayor of Iredele. Parker. Mister Spencer Parker. I trust you’re here to hunt….monsters?”

Jen shifted her place to move between the two falling beast that she had felled within but a single swing of her long blade, a surprise even to her that she could so easily take a life like that... Had she seen death before? She felt like she had many times in the past. Moving back from the green gas Jen only saw glimpses of what the women did, she as crazy as the rest of the blood hungry beasts within this town and so commited herself to the dark waters and rocks within the well which was to become her tomb.

The one called Tatsumi cried for the women death despite her words, though it may have been just shock Jenniver instinctivly reached for her smooth cheek, and not a hint of tears could be felt. It was as she feared, she felt nothing for the womens death but was at least afraid of what her words meant "How bothersome...." She let the words slip from her words without notice.

-

Akemi was the same she she chose to drown her desires for the, she had to admit, rather handsome male instead of anything else. "Ut absolutam gratiam tuam..." She repeated the words as she tried to remember what they meant from the book she had but a moment ago. Either way as she came out of her thinking stupor it seemed only she and the man who threw the green gas from before remained in the aftermath.

Still their interaction would have to wait a moment as another joined them, and to her great luck it seemed to be the mayor of all people, police or guards did not seem to be a thing in this town. Swinging her long sword back onto her shoulder and then into its holster she gave the man her 'name' "Jenniver von Lordos" A important sounding name, something that she could use with these people as the more important she sounded the less they would think of her as but another hunter. "Sorry for the mess, they seemed to take a interest in me rather than that women... Are they a fan of such girls like me?" She brushed her ashen hair to the side a little as she finally faced the mayor, putting up a finger as she followed up her question with another;

"Ut absolutam gratiam tuam, what dose it mean?"

The vixen's blood-colored eyes observed Sinthe attentively as the he made his way into her den, carefully trying not to crush any of her folded paper figurines. She had ditched her cloak and most of her light armor, and only now, Sinthe could get a good look of her body, including the bushy tail that swished to and from over her bed sheets.

Juts as promised, Akemi waited Sinthe while she drank the vilified 'green fairy' directly from the bottle's neck without even flinching, proving that she could hold her liquor better than most grown men. Though, after downing about half of the bottle alone, even Akemi should be a little tipsy.

She let the vile drink go and the provocative smirk, and even her feelings of desire, turned into an uncharacteristic smile and a mix of curiosity and pride when Sinthe picked a paper crane that seemed to remember him of something, judging by the look in his eyes "Go on, open it! There'll be poem inside. Maybe you should treat it as a fortune telling." Akemi beckoned him with a curious look in her eyes. Evidently, having someone appreciate her uncommon craft was almost as exciting to Akemi as quenching the flames of her lust. Depending on Sinthe's reaction, the fox woman could even begin to see he as more than an object that was only there to please her body that haven't known what a man is for ages and more like a person of his own worthy, proving that her heart still isn't as dry as she believes it to be.

If Sinthe decided to unfold the yellow paper crane, he would find the following written within it, in Akemi's neat handwriting.

"The pale blue moon
vanishes in the winter skies
Wolves howl amidst the shadows"

Anyway, after that brief interlude, Akemi took one more swig and then threw the bottle to Sinthe, hoping that he wouldn't let the precious spirit be spoiled, and observed his reaction as he drank the demonic beverage in a sort of indirect kiss, before finally losing her patience and dragging him to the bed. Akemi started to undress Sinthe and he could feel the smell of alcohol coming from her mouth as he kissed him.

Depending on how Sinthe handled the voracious vixen, both of them would be stuck in her room for quite some time.

Tatsumi reluctantly accepted the hand of the young girl he now knew as Maribel and rose from the ground. The monster's ignore her? She's different, not like the villagers, that much is obvious. Tatsumi returned the young girl's smile. It was clear that the girl meant well, unlike the seemingly soulless villagers. "I'm Tatsumi... pleased to meet you, Maribel. So, you come to visit the villagers? Don't they seem... I dunno, a little strange to you? It's almost like they're... empty, not really there. Maybe I'm just imagining it..." He shook his head, moving to exit the alley.

He thought about what she said. No parents, huh? Even if the monster's don't bother her it must be rough, and she must be lonely if she comes here for company... He looked out towards the area outside the walls of the village, pointing towards the horizon and turning his head back towards Maribel, "So, you don't live in the village? Does that mean you live out there, all be yourself?" Inside, he felt an inexplicable empathy with the girl, like he knew what it was like to be by yourself.

Sinthe watched as Akemi revealed her self to him, Sinthe stared at her 'extra' features, her large bushy like tail was the thing that caught his eye, he next noticed her large fox like ears sticking up from the top of her head, Sinthe then looked into her blood red eyes with his bright green glowing eyes.

Suddenly Akemi began drinking a green liquor that had a strong stench to it, Sinthe slowly took off his boots while she began downing the strange liquor, when she had gotten to the half way point of the bottle she stopped and noticed that Sinthe picked up a crane that she made, she asked him to unfold it and read it, Sinthe instinctively unfolded it feeling curious and read the small haiku, when he was finished reading it he put the crane back where it belonged."It's a nice haiku but I think you have too many syllables." Sinthe told her before she threw the bottle at him.

The tall white haired man caught the fox woman's drink, but he didn't take a sip of the drink she was drinking, he set the liquor down onto the nightstand next to the bed, he then let the fox woman drag him down on to the bed and almost rip his clothes off and give him a drunken sloppy kiss.

When they both finished Sinthe let the fox woman sleep, and walked out of her room re-dressed in his gi, but he left behind his black boots, he went out into the tavern and looked around for Tatsumi wondering if the boy was okay or still upset about the woman committing suicide, he went outside of the tavern barefoot feeling the ground with his feet."This place, it's off, almost like." Sinthe stopped speaking to himself when he noticed Tatsumi speaking to some girl, Sinthe leaned next to the door way of the tavern watching over Tatsumi.

“No, you’re not imagining it Hunter. It’s true that the people here are soulless. Didn’t you hear about the war long ago? Ever since then the people in Iredele have given up. They only live to play a role chosen to them by the mayor,” Maribel explained, pointing over to Spencer.

“The woman you tried to save? She only acted like she needed help because that was her role. It’s like a performance. And once you take away that role, the villagers are left with nothing left to drive them. No reason to exist. So they don’t.”

For such a young girl, she seemed to have a clue about what she was talking about. It only added to the mystery of what this town was and the purpose of it all. If there was even a purpose to begin with. Maribel clenched Tatsumi’s hand a little tighter as he pointed to the village walls, the twin blue moons illuminating them with their pale light.

“I live where I want to. Or where it’s easy to run away. Just because the monsters don’t bother me doesn’t mean I’m not out of danger,” she said before noticing both Macey and Mu returning from the Temple. She led the Hunter over to those two until she stood in their path, hand still holding Tatsumi’s.

“Hello Hunters. Are you friends with Tatsumi?”

Back in the two square, Spencer gave both Jenniver and Leo a weary look. Great, more tourists. He wondered why Leo didn’t explain all of this to the girl but figured that the man was too cooped up in his explosive houses to get many visitors anyway.

“It’s nice to meet you Jenniver. An odd name…but I guess it’s fitting for a Hunter. As for your questions…well the God Hand usually picks female sacrifices. Don’t know why, and frankly I’m better off not knowing. As for the garbled Latin, it’s more of a final farewell before Death really. Or it can be a curse to spite your murderers. ‘May the Absolute grace you’, or something like that.”

The man then took a notice of Jenniver’s book and his one open eye seemed to widen in interest. They didn’t get many scholars around here, especially hunting ones. Well then, maybe this group wasn’t totally hopeless.

“Look, if you’re just here to ask questions that’s fine. But aren’t you a Hunter? Shouldn’t you be out doing some, I dunno, actual hunting? Hmm? Tell you what, I’ll offer you a free job for payment, you and your, er, new hunting friends. The whole lot of you. According to some witnesses, there’s been a large gathering of…something at the Paraanon Ravine just east of here. Settle that problem for me and maybe I’ll overlook you ruining another one of our rituals. Settled?”

Tatsumi was slightly taken aback when the girl didn't let go of his hand, but shrugged it off. She was just a kid, and all by herself, it wasn't surprising if she was a little clingy. Plus he could already tell that she would be a big help. She knew a lot more about this place than he did, if anything it was a stroke of luck that he met her.

He pondered her words. The villagers almost sounded like actors putting on a play. He had a million questions, but decided to ask the ones that came to his head first, "Why? What's the mayor's purpose? He must have some kind of... reason to be giving them roles? And... are us Hunters a part of his game? Are we 'Actors' too? What about you? And what do you mean you're still in danger? What's dangerous here besides the monsters?" He was aware that he might be asking a few too many questions, so he cut off his line of inquiry as they approached Macey and Mu.

He realized he probably looked a little odd to the pair holding the little girl's hand, but he got over it. Tatsumi was not the type to let himself be intimidated by other's opinions. Mari asked if they knew him, "No, I'm afraid I haven't met them yet," He looked towards the black-haired girl, "But I do remember you from the square... you came with the strange masked man. I... I lost my cool there... Anyways, I'm Tatsumi, pleased to meet you two..." He suddenly realized he should probably also introduce Mari, "And this is Maribel... she's from here, unlike us." He said, nodding towards the young white-haired girl.

Jenniver tilted her head slightly when the mayor mentioned her name was odd, she didn't think the mayor of a place like this should even try calling anything odd but she didn't say anything about it. Still she got some rather good information about the whole thing from the guy, despite likely being asked about such things many times before from the other hunters he was at least accommodating. Though he was rather forceful when asking for things it seemed as he attempted to get her to accept a offer of a job.

"I see."

Stepping up closer to the mayor she made sure to lean in a little to dominate his personal space, and not in a way he would like that was for sure. "If you are going to pay for the job then I suppose I can accept." She made it clear that it was not so he would overlook anything, after all showing weakness was going to be bad in a town like this but she didn't want to be too aggressive and burn bridges "Thank you, you have been very helpful in my investigation." Reaching out she would attempt to gently pat the guys head as she returned to a more friendly stance "Paraanon Ravine correct? Is there anything else before I leave? Descriptions? What the thing is? What times? Witnesses still alive?" Strange why did she know what to ask? Either way with that she started to walk off to find her fellow hunters.

However before she left she turned towards Leo "You are coming with me? Ok." At first it sounded like a question but she answered it for him! HE was really useful to have around so she wanted him to come along, but either way she continued on until she came across Tatsumi, Sinthe and a few girls she had not met yet... Jenniver did not say a word for a few moments as she stared at the strange girl called Maribel but continued after she figured she stared too much. "The mayor has offered a paying job for all of us. Something strange happened at a place called Paraanon Ravine we can investigate and get paid... I'm hungry..."

A soft growl was heard from her stomech, though something else caulght her attention "Done already?" she said in a rather cute/insulting way as she saw Sinthe was here and not with Akemi.

Sinthe listened to everyone speak not giving any real suggestions or anything, but he felt like something about this was wrong in a way, like it was too good." We should be careful, for all we know the mayor may hire us and then try to kill us, or himself and not pay us, or just try to get us killed period." Sinthe told the others while he kept his arms crossed and leaned next to the door frame, when the white haired woman approached him he heard her stomach growl before she tried to be cute with him and ask if he was finished already.

"I'm letting her rest, before I could finish she passed out from drinking too much and climaxing. You sound a bit angry or insulted you okay ? You aren't jealous of this are you ?" Sinthe began to question Jenniver while seeming calm, he wasn't bother by her trying to act cute and insulting, he didn't really care what she was thinking, he was more focused on what the Mayor was gonna try to pull on them if they helped him.@Kitsune

"Petals fly
In the spring breeze
The night is empty."
The Spring Breeze, by Akemi

To say that Akemi was irate when she climbed out of her bed, still half naked and went to the well behind the inn to wash herself off and drink some water like she haven't done so in a whole week, would be an understatement, at the very least. A poor villager walked in the well, since the one at the main square was unusable now, only to be welcomed by the sight of the, now fully naked, vixen bathing shamelessly under the night sky.

The young man tried his best to ignore Akemi, since all villagers knew that dealing with the fox woman was like an invitation to bad luck. However, try as he might, he couldn't get his eyes off of her alluring form, which only caused the grin of displeasure on the vixen's face to widen. A few minutes later, the other hunters at the town square would see a young villager boy run through the square with ripped clothes and holding his 'manly bits' while crying in despair after being defiled by a demon.

Not long later, Akemi emerged from the inn's front door gulping down the rest of the absinthe bottle, before throwing it at a trash pile by the street side. "You're going to go to Paraanon Ravine, huh? I can show you the best way there." Akemi said while frowning.

Still dark. No sign of daybreak at all… even after so many hours. Is there such thing as a Sun in this universe?

Macey whipped around just in time to catch the colourful sight of Monkey Kid running out of the temple after her. His vibrant attire seemed so out of place in the dark atmosphere, and she wondered just how on earth someone like that ended up here. Well, the same way that I got here, presumably.

“There you are! What was it now we were looking for… Yes, hunters.” Macey flashed him a well-rehearsed smile – probably the first time she’d smiled today, but fell a little short of looking completely genuine. “There’s one of them in particular I think you’ll get along with. He’s a lively sort of character, and I think you two will get on like a house on fire.”

Not specifying whether Macey really wanted the Monkey Kid to make new friends, or rather she’d just wanted to offload him from her hands as soon as possible, she gave a quick glance around the square – Leo the bird man was still there, along with…. Jenniver, was it? She was definitely one of the Hunters in the church, when they all arrived at the start of the night. They were in conversation with an important looking sort, and Macey couldn’t tell whether he was a villager or not. And here’s me thinking that the Priest was the one who held the most power around here… I really should learn some patience.
“Well. The one I’m thinking of isn’t here at the moment.” Macey continued, racking her brain for the name of the hunter Jenniver was in conversation with. “Well, I suppose those two out there aren’t half bad. The bird man out there, I think you’ll find quite inter – Hey, Tatsumi!”

He was pretty much being dragged along by a girl around half his height, and at the same time he looked deep in thought. “Well, no. We aren’t friends,” She said, addressing the girl first. For a moment, her eyes were locked with the girl’s in a sea of violet. “But we do know of each other. Tatsumi, Monkey boy. Monkey boy, Tatsumi. And hello there, Maribel. Have you recently been adopted by our enthusiastic hunter here? You've got your hands together like father and daughter!” Macey carefully studied the girl’s appearance, unsure whether to prod her with more questions. Then she remembered her decision to take a slower pace whilst investigating this city, then turned to Tatsumi.
“I’m Macey James. I’ve lost my cool a few times tonight already, but at least there’s a silver lining in it all. Best not to get so hung up on the past, since it’s only the future that matters. Not that there seems to be much of a future here – but still, we’ll create one if we have to.”

Just at that moment, Jenniver walked over to the four of them with an elegant air about her – and a strange dialect to match. “A… job?” Macey gave the Mayor a hard stare to decide whether he could be trusted or not. The answer was ‘no’, but this seemed like the perfect opportunity to go outside the walls. She’d rather not go with such a large group of people who were essentially strangers, but there was safety in numbers. “We don’t even have money to buy a meal right now, so we should probably take this up. Who knows? Maybe we’ll hunt a giant chicken that we can put on a spit roast later.”

Ah, that white haired brute has arrived too Macey noted, remembering the fist fighter from the earlier scrawl. She had no idea that he had gone on a small “adventure” with the hooded fighter, so his next words were a complete shock. Not quite as shocking as seeing a half-naked villager wailing obscenities while running out of the inn, and the fox woman emerging from the inn’s entrance not a heartbeat later. Macey only prayed that she would never have to learn of whatever happened inside that house, and vowed never to enter the inn during her stay here.

It was dark as they walked out of the church. Jin was hiding in Mu's shirt for warmth when Marcy began talking to him.

"Oh really who are they, I'd like to meet them." Mu said as they walked up to a man holding a girls hand.

They approached the two, and Mu heard what she said about them not being friends. He has not hurt, considering the circumstances they were under, but he still felt like she was his only acquaintance. "Aww is that really how you feel after all we have been through, you know with the knife and all." Mu said with a lopsided grin. He then looked at the man and the girl. Marcy was right to say that they looked like father and daughter.

His name was Tatsumi and hers was Maribel. He didn't know how to feel about being called monkey boy, but right now he let it go. "My name is Mu." He said as Jin popped his head out and climbed onto his shoulder. "And this is Jin." The monkey looked at the two unfamiliar faces with general interest, in his new people and surroundings. Mu swung the unopened umbrella over his shoulder and looked around. The town had a dark feeling to it and for some reason that didn't sit right with him. He guess that, not only because of his attire, he like the day time and bright times and things.
@Memoir@Diggerton

Jenniver came over and told them about the job the mayor of this town was hiring them to do. "Food does sound nice and who doesn't like a little bit of adventure." Mu said with a smile. Another man said something about climaxing and this caught Mu's attention. He hadn't been awake for an hour and someone had already made relations. Then the woman, he assumed, came out of an inn, following a half naked boy. Mu had already seen and heard so much, he knew that this world was offering a different kind of fun.

The hunters had scattered like roaches when the city center flooded with the mysterious green gas. In the midst of the chaos that ensued the remaining beast man was killed by a mysterious force that used the gas to conceal its presence. With all obstacles out of the way, one of the hunters approached a village women who looked to be under great stress. When asked if she needed help she suddenly snapped. She ranted about all of her sins then threw herself into the well. There was no doubt that the fall would kill her instantly. All the hunters that witnessed the spectacle seemed to be in shock. This was most likely their first time seeing someone die. To Leo though it was just another daily occurrence. Things like this happened very often in the city of Iredele.

"You lot are lucky. You got to witness your first death early on. If it happened on the field of battle you would all surely die." Leo's voice was grim. It was as if he was speaking from personal experience. It was now obvious that he had seen more than anyone one man could handle. If others could see his eyes they'd say they were empty. Even more empty then those of the villagers. Multiple hunters approached him after that. Most of them had a question about the gas or why they hadn't seen him at the temple. Leo ignored them and they eventually caught on and left. Only one remained who didn't go off to attend to their own business. She remained completely silent until the mayor of the town approached the two and began to rant about how they had interrupted God's Hand. Almost all of it went completely over Leo's head. He had heard this rant so many times before that he could practically recite it himself. Towards the end, there was a bit about a job but even that didn't interest Leo. He had no need for the mayor's money.

The girl that was talking to the mayor soon departed and said something that was completely lost to Leo. "Sure whatever." He mumbled as she walked away. Now only the mayor stood in front of Leo. Just the man he wanted to see. "Now that we're alone we can talk. I want out of our agreement. I've no need to be here any longer. I'm leaving and heading west. I thought I'd let you know." Without waiting for the mayor's response Leo turned away and started to walk towards the city gates. The other hunters would be on their own. Leo had no time to babysit them.

Surprisingly enough, the mayor was unfazed by Jenniver’s attempt at intimidation towards him. Then again, one had to have a steel spine to run and manage a backwards town such as Iredele. He looked into her eyes with his one open green one, noting the look of mistrust present in her gaze. To that, he shrugged in return. She could trust him or not but either way it was his money she was getting.

He nodded at her thanks and departure, eye shifting over to Leo now. The bold declaration on his part was a tad upsetting but that was how the world worked. And if Leo really wanted to go, there was nothing stopping him. So to that, Spencer shrugged again. There was a whole new batch of Hunters that could easily replace the bird masked man. All that the mayor cared about was keeping his town as pristine as it already was.

“Sure Leo my man. Do what you want. You know Iredele will always have a place in your heart though,” the mayor called out with a backwards wave as he strolled away, his role completed for the day.

Nearby, Maribel nodded with a smile towards Macey and Mu, the new Hunters that had introduced themselves to her. The comment about Tatsumi being her dad made the youngling giggle at the sheer amusement of it all. But she was smiling and that was at least something new in this town of bleak little dolls. The white-haired girl waved at the monkey accompanying the red-dressed man, Jin.

“It’s very nice to meet you, all of you. No, I’m afraid Tatsumi isn’t my real father but he’s been a pleasure to have around so far,” Maribel said before turning to address his questions. “I don’t know the mayor’s purpose or why he does things the way he does. But I think it’s supposed to increase the chances of survival, if only by a sliver. As for you Hunters, you’re just here to kill the prey since there’s nothing else to do around here.”

She didn’t answer the one about the danger though, eyes showing worry for once. Her fingers curled around Tatsumi’s and tightened, indicating that she wouldn’t answer that one any time soon. It was a good thing then that Sinthe and Akemi showed up when they did.

“Hello Miss Akemi. And goodbye. If you’re taking these Hunters on a mission, then I’ll be out of your way then,” said Maribel, letting go of Tatsumi’s hand and moving away. “Don’t worry everyone. I’m not very good at fighting so I’ll visit whenever I can. Goodbye Tatsumi and everyone. Miss Akemi, please take care of them.”

The girl said this and moved away, walking off in a direction that probably led to nowhere. It might have been some concern for her safety but she had mentioned that the monsters avoided her. She would be fine. What was most important now was getting to Paraanon Ravine.

And so a hunt begins in darkness.

Tatsumi smiled at the talk of a job. He was eager for adventure, and was ready to prove himself to the others after the rather embarrassing incident at the well. He didn't really catch the details of their job, besides the fact that it was at a place called 'Paraanon Ravine'... not that that meant much to him, since he wasn't exactly familiar with the geography of this place. Tatsumi smiled at Jenniver when he saw her. She was the first of the group whom he had met, so it was nice to see that she was still safe. His smile faded as Sinthe took her comment a little too harsh. He seems a little... touchy. Tatsumi noted to himself.

Next to speak was Akemi, who appeared to have resuscitated from her 'excursion' with Sinthe, with a new 'companion' already running from her clutches. I'm going to avoid her... she's a little scary. In his opinion the fox girl appeared to be a nympho. He sighed. No matter how he felt her help would be needed, so he would have to try to get along with her.

And then Macey and Monkey Boy/Mu introduced themselves. And Jin, an actual a monkey. A monkey is a very interesting choice of travelling companion, but they seem alright. Tatsumi blushed slightly as Macey referred to him and Mari as 'father and daughter', but he smiled at the trio. "A pleasure to meet all of you... you're right, Macey, this place is bleak, so it is up to us to make the best of it. And a job sounds like a good start... better than hanging around this gloomy town forever." Tatsumi furrowed his brow as Mari explained the mayor's actions. That doesn't make much sense to me, but it's probably best to leave it be for now. I don't really know the ways of this place, and a lot is still a mystery...

Mari seemed to evade his question about the danger she was in. It was clear enough that the question made her uncomfortable so he let it be, but that didn't mean he wasn't concerned. She seemed scared of whatever this 'danger' was. She began to break off from the group. "I'll see you later then. You take care of yourself too, and check in with me sometime after we get back..." His sentence drifted off. He didn't really know the girl but he was still concerned for her. She was in some sort of trouble, that was clear, and it felt wrong for him to leave her. He shook his head, turning back to the assembled group of Hunters. "Well, we should be off then. We've got a job to do." He turned towards the town gates, heading off for Paraanon Ravine without checking to see if the others were following him.

This might not have been so bad if he knew where Paraanon Ravine. Hopefully they would follow.

Jenniver just gave a rather blunt but emotionless answer to Sinthe, though it sounded like there was a hint of pity which came about from her suspicion that he was mostly lying about what happened. Either way it was not the time for such things as a half naked man ran past them all, which was soon followed by Akemi walking up to their group... This town was so strange, and she felt that was a big deal coming from her.

"Yes, we are heading to Paraanon Ravine.I don't have a leash but I will follow you anyway" After answering Akemi's offer she looked towards what seemed to be new people she had not seen before and a rather cute little monkey of some kind "Heh" She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as she saw it, though what was more important right now was the fact that it seemed all but a few were willing to go on this mission. BE it out of boredom, greed or even answers; Paraanon Ravine seemed lioke the best place to start.

Peering over to Tatsumi who promted them to get going which sounded like the best idea. "We are all in agreement then. Let us go and obtain my food money" With that she gestured for Akami to lead the way, after all she had the best route there as she said so she would let the loyal puppy lead for now~

When Jenniver answered Sinthe, the man got tired of waiting for her answer and went inside to get his boots, when he returned he re took his spot in the group and heard that they were going to move out to the Ravine, he saw that a couple others have arrived to join them, Sinthe looked at the others and some of the people he's seen before including the guy from earlier that threw the gas bomb that was suppose to blind them, he noticed a small monkey with one of the new people and Sinthe just glared at the monkey." I'm Sinthe." He told the others." Akemi you take the lead and show us the way to this ravine."

Sinthe fixed his boot really quickly then stood back up,"I'll guard the back with you." Sinthe pointed to Jenniver."Everyone with a ranged weapon should keep an eye above us when we hit the ravine, the others with only melee weapons should keep their guard up and weapons in hand when we get there, in fact keep them handy at all times." Sinthe spoke like a tactician to everyone almost like he was giving orders to each and everyone one of them."Also that money is going to all of us not just you." Sinthe told Jenniver.

Akemi's ears were slightly drooped and her tail hanged lifelessly under her mantle when she joined the group of newbie hunters, now with a few extra additions. This reaction wasn't so much an effect of the alcohol in her system as it was from her bad disposition in general. "At the very least, finding something to kill will be better than spending the rest of the day here. Come, let us go." The vixen said with a very annoyed voice.

Once Akemi stepped out of the walls, she let her hood down, revealing the fox ears underneath it for those who haven't gazed at her true form yet "There's a couple things that I should say before we go any further. First, don't get separate from one another, no matter what, in this gloom your eyes won't be able to see very far away, so you'll never find your way once you lose it here. Second, try to not interfere with things around here. Some of you already knows what are the results of trying to be knights in shining armor on the world, so I hope you'll not try to save every person that you hear screaming and dying in the dark, unless you want to join them, of course."

With Akemi guiding them, they would reach the ravine in a few hours, and be able to come back tomorrow at most, that is, if no one does anything stupid on the way to and from. Which Akemi surely was hoping no to happen.
