Was he? No, if he said yes... then she would know something was going on. "No... if I was you'd make sure I wasn't." That was true, she'd do everything in her power to see him helpless. Why did she have to play these weird mind games with him. Did she understand that he was scared of her already ?

It was just a dream, Bug often found himself dreaming of food-- only to wake up to realize it wasn't true and his stomach growing even more. He did have a dream like that, Lily was there she'd given him the leftover salad. Which to most people wouldn't be anything, but it was different for him. Biting his lip, taking a deep breath. Fighting off a panic attack.

Falling over from the shove sitting himself back up in the palms of his hands, nodding his head. Looking at the key, he didn't think he'd ever get off the chain-- since it was what kept him locked in the house. "Why are you being so nice? I thought you didn't like me..." He asked with a confused look on his face, she had made it pretty clear that she didn't want him around her friend-- maybe she was going crazy?

Bug has already kinda met Lily, but he wouldn't dare tell Annabelle that she's skin him alive. At this point he was just going to let her do whatever she wanted, he was getting freedom even if it was for a short time and at whatever thing she was planning.

At that moment he felt like throwing up, Bug curled into himself. Even though he kinda already meant Lily he just shyly waved before putting his hand down. It was odd not feeling the weight of the chain normally around his ankle, but he welcomed the new found freedom-- trying to keep his guard up in case this was just another game to her.

Keeping his eyes to his feet, a bit uncomfortable. He wasn't use to being around people so he didn't know how to act or if he should say anything. Fingers tingled up in his shirt, what was she planning? Or maybe she was just trying to be nice... for once in her life. "...Hi." He stuttered out.

Bug didn't have much time to react before her hands were in his hair and down his neck, he knew this would happen. WHY DID HE TRUST HER ! Shutting his eyes when she forced him to look at Lily-- he didn't want to see her, he didn't even want to be here right now. "Pl-- please, we're not friends. She was just stupid and gave me food and I was stupid for taking it!"

His voice was hoarse and raw, pulling at her hands with his fingers but he was starting to panic, it was getting harder and harder to get air into his lungs tears blurred his vision. Bug didn't know how to calm Annabelle down when she was like this-- it only ever happened twice in his lifetime the last time it happened he ended up with a broken arm.

Without thinking he kicked her in the knee, which made her loosen the grip she had on his throat he slipped away from her and up against the wall. That was the first time he'd ever hit her or anyone else in the family, so in a weird way it felt kinda good, but he shook himself from his thoughts and looked over to Lily who freaking out. "Look... uh, it's okay. Just go home! Okay?" He was sobbing now, he didn't want Lily to get hurt. It was his fault anyway.

Blood dripping down his nose and lips onto his shirt and floor. Wiping it with the back of his head, smearing it across his arm and lips-- but that was the least of his problem right now, he had put Lily in danger. With shaking legs he have walked/stumbled down the stairs to the girls who were both out cold.

"Lily... Please, you gotta wake up." His voice cracked, hitching on a sob. Damn it! This was ALL his fault. gently shaking her shoulders to wake her up, without Annabelle waking up too-- he'd have to deal with her on his own plus what Mr and Mrs. Fray would do with him when they came home. Eyes fluttered open, groggy and still a bit out of it.

Bug softly pushed her into a sitting position, checking to make sure she didn't have too much damage. It seemed like a just a few scrapes and bruises-- but he knew she'd even forget this moment. It would be burned into her mind for the rest of her life, unless she blocks it out. "Y- you gotta go. Get out of here and don't come back... Please, don't tell anyone either." He whispered, but by his tone of voice you could tell he was scared shitless.

Pushing her towards the front door, glancing back to make sure Annabelle was still laying on the floor knocked out. Taking a deep breath before opening the door and waiting for Lily to walk out... if she was smart she would just leave and never come back. A groan from across the room made him jump, shit Annabelle. Jabbing his finger at the door, begging with his eyes for her to get out.

"It's not safe..." Bug didn't care what happened to him, Annabelle could kill him for all he cared. He was nothing special-- more of a plaything or pet to her. That she could order around and kick at will when it pleased her, she was waking up that didn't leave him much time to get her out of here. So he opened the closet door that was where they put the shoes and jackets, pushing her inside and locking the door-- at least she'd be safer into there since she didn't seem to want to move.

Tears welled up in his eyes, she was right. He wasn't going to be here-- he didn't know when or how but he knew Annabelle had been planning something big, that shit she pulled earlier was proof she had much bigger plans in store. He didn't want Lily to get in the middle of something that had be started from the day he was born, "Look it doesn't matter. I don't matter and you can never come back..."

"No, I can handle this." Knowing Annabelle would wake up at anytime now, he knew he had to get Lily out and fast. The sounds her moving around in the closet caused a shudder up his spine-- Bug didn't know what she's do to him, but that was the last thing on his mind at the moment.

Fighting back the urge to run and hide, Bug was hugging his knees and pulling at his hair wishing this never happened. Why did he let Lily into his head ? Why had he let Annabelle trick him into thinking she cared about him ? Listening to her screaming and kicking against the door for a moment covering his ears muttering under his breath, stupid ! Stupid, that's all he was. Contemplating weather or not he should really let her out, Bug knew she wouldn't be happy with him.

Biting down on his bottom lip, slowly standing up and making his way over to the door-- letting his shaky hand hover over the handle... "Look I'm sorry okay, but just-- just please don't do anything." His voice was hoarse and shaky, before slowly unlocking the door and quickly backing away from the door and up against the wall. Far from Annabelle, he was going to die and no one was going to know or care.
