@Mihndar Thanks for that.

It is now midnight and I finally finished my post. That turned out a bit longer than I expected it to be.

For all who have encountered the Missionaries or Arsuron Traders

The Arsuron Pantheon (Pre-Organized Religion)

Kiyam (Proto-Arsuronic: Yi'am) - Originally the literal sea, the word Yi'am containing the grammatical beginning for marine topics. Over time the name came to relate to a kind of abstract sea god. Is now taking on a sense of a creator god through the influence of the mathematicists and the Rokthani Kikisk. Most Arsuron swear by Yi'am/Kiyam when taking oaths or asking for guidance. The Arsuron see him as the patron of the Arsur Coast.

Kikisk - The Lord of Wisdom, the Great Serpant who sits on his throne between East and West. Kikisk was borrowed from the Rokthani before their isolationism, granted his interpretation is different. As most knowledge of the Rokthan deity came from merchants and the writings of Anrett, Kikisk was seen as the deity who appeared to Anrett in a vision and made her a prophet of wisdom who brought writing to the Arsuron. Kikisk is said to sit upon his mighty throne on the highest mountain in the Rokthani Mountain Range. The adoption of Kikisk is also what lead to the divine prefix Ki-

Kireth - Born in the age before copper as Anrett, she was a scout who lead the expedition into Rokthani Terriory, and was visited by the Great Serpant; who revieled the Anrethi Abugida to her, and ordered her to live among his chosen people. Anrett was murdered in an attack on Rokthan by the traitor Angar, but not before bestowing her alphabet to her deciple, Anlug. Upon death she ascended to godhood as Kireth, the godess of technology and learning.

Fiyam - The Perfect One, the overgod. Said to be the creator of everything, represented as a perfect circle divided into 60 pieces. Is the sole god of the mathematicists, and represents the number 60. Is often conflated with Kiyam or even Kikisk at times among the commoners. The mathematicists are trying to come up with a way to conform this to their belifes, sometimes treaching that Fiyam, Kiyam, and Kikisk are three aspects of the same being, a kind of trinity

I thought this would be best to be questioned here, but if there are any notes you'd want private, do simply respond in PM.

Concerning the Arsuron Pantheon,

Assuming the initial traders in Soruli Territory stay as long as needed to allow the Soruli to learn their tongue, the closest the Soruli have to religion would be the beliefs regarding maintaining a spectrum of acceptance/respect for all things and their belief of the Sky-Eyes.

Thus here are my questions:

+ How would you say your traders would convey the ideals to the Soruli or other races they interact with?

+ Do you forsee any issues with the Soruli beliefs versus the Arsuron?

+ Would it be seen as a good omen for them to be given 60 of something as it is Fiyam's number?

The traders are sure to mention it in regards to their language, and likely any trader who stayed and lived with the Soruli long enough may even try and synchronize their beliefs (EX: What they did with Kikisk and may do with the Society Deities if they begin to interact more than begrudging trade). At the moment they're more like the Hittites or the Romans in how they react to foreign beliefs, that being they may just incorporate them into their own. The Mathematicists are a bit more intolerant, and as they get more control over the Arsuron, they almost certainly will bring an end to syncretism, and probably increase missionary action to spread "orthodox" mathematicism.

As for the traders in your territory, they are from the Lotus Colony, and don't have much of the mathematicists influence. They all know of Kiyam and Kikisk, but only tangently know of Fiyam and his association with 60. The people of Lotus Colony only know 60 as a base, it would be equivalent to one of us being given 10 of something.

Could I get a description of your territory that is North of mine? A link to a post would do just fine, it doesn't need to be anything elaborate.

Like Israel basically. The coast is pretty fertile and this is where the vast majority of Arsuron live. Its very rough, rocky, many cliffs and bluffs. There's lots of grasslands, some small wooded areas in the mountains and cliffs with thin ceder forests. As you go further west it gets more dry, like a savannah with lots of tall grasses an fewer trees. Then its just pure desert until the mountains.

I'm basically in western Russia. Cold-ish, with trees upon trees upon trees, extending into Ukrainian-like plains in the east and a small patch in the west.

@orangebox and @mathionx, if I don't see any posting from you guys (or an explanation for your absence) I'm going to have to remove you from the player list.

Hey everyone, here is part of my post. I was wondering if what I am detailing is actually possible. Anyone with significant knowledge of groundwater (Not me.) may know.

Here it is (Sorry for errors, it hasn't been proofed yet.):
Tref had made an amazing discovery! He found that if one digged a hole deep enough, and near the ocean, that it fill with water after a couple of hours! This water was also fresh and drinkable. After finishing his tests on the matter and coming to this conclusion, he took the day long trek from the edge of the Herenthor territory to the main Herenthor village.

“ I am searching for Phamp!’ he exclaimed as soon as he entered the village, startling some at the late hour.

“What is it!,” shouted a grumpy voice, “ If someone hasn’t died, you’re about to.”

The threat didn’t faze Tref, in fact he barely registered it, “ Thankfully, no one has died. The reason for my alarm is an amazing discovery.” Unfortunately for Terf, he was forced to try and sleep the night and wait until the morning to share his discovery. After a sleepless night, Terf and Phamp conversed and came to the conclusion that this could be used to supply the villages with water, eliminating the need to make dangerous treks into the jungle and bringing back water that may contain disease. Soon a party of workers would be sent to help Terf and Phamp choose a place for an artificial pool to draw water from.

If I remember correctly, Ground water comes from the rain collecting in permiable rocks or soil (such as gravel, sand or silt), so basically you just need to find a sandy or gravely area with significant rainfall to have collected enough to be worth digging a well

I feel like that's a bit impractical considering most players have ~200 people and there would be an incredibly massive amount of work involved.

Race: Ungly-hai
http://koutanagamori.deviantart.com/art/Lizard-man-168597199
(Not my drawing, pls don't sue me...)
Bio:
Hailing from the southern rainforest, the Ungly-hai are an advanced race of humanoid reptilians that specialize in politics and agriculture.
As a peaceful people the Ungly-hai have honed their skills as great politicians and traders giving them an economic foothold over some nations, in addition not only are the Ungly-hai skilled politicians, they are expert farmers and have large clearings converted into farms. Because of this Ungly-hai cities are scattered loosely around the rainforest. The Ungly-hai religion is made up of three gods, Bulramal the god of wisdom, Kunramal god of life, and Yunramal god of death. The gods have very specific roles in Ungly-hai society, Traders and politicians worship Bulramal, Farmers and herders worship Kunramal, then warriors and Deathbearers worship Yunramal.
The lifespan of and Ungly-hai is long ranging from 120-160 years old, an Ungly-hai matures at the age of 30 (they are able to reproduce at 20),
A female can give (live) birth to a clutch of 3 or more. After birth the females must rest for at least a week, in that time the children will be cared for by the male. An Ungly-hai female can give birth up to three times if they decide to have a fourth clutch a female will pay with her life.

Jobs:
Trader(Common) Exchanges any food, weapons, and tools for money.
Politician(Common) A diplomat that talks to other races and tries to set up trade routs peace treaties etc...
Farmer(Very Common) A simple civilian that tends the fields of veggies.
Smiths(Uncommon) Makes weapons and tools in exchange for Rok
Builders(Common) Builds buildings for Ungly-hai cities
Council Member(Very Uncommon) Lead politicians of the Ungly-hai race, makes the decisions of Going to War or Alliances with other factions.
Warriors(Uncommon(unless at war)) Infantry for when the Council decides to go to war.
Deathbearers(Uncommon) Skilled medics and healers that collect herbs and medicine for the sick/injured (Also bury the dead).
Warlocks(Very uncommon) The scientists of the Ungly-hai researches new technology.
Hunters(Very common) Hunt animals to feed the cities.

Military:
The Ungly-hai military specializes with light infantry and siege weaponry
Infantry:

https://tristenheffelfingerkelseyroush.wikispaces.com/file/view/Siege_Tower.jpg/201887944/Siege_Tower.jpg

Architecture and crafts:
Ungly-hai are clumsy builders, most of their buildings and craft are (to say the least) crudely made with anything they can get their claws on.
Only buildings with great importance (Council chambers, healer huts, farms, siege weapons) are built with the best builders the city has to offer, tools and weapons degrade fast so Smiths are a must with Army's or Warbands.

Racial Characteristics:
Tall(7ft-)
Soft scales(Natural armor is shit)
Long limbs(Has a better reach)
Low light vision(Can see in the dark fairly well)
Slow breeders(Every clutch must be birthed six months apart(Pregnancy last up to 5-7months))
Bright(Slightly better intellect then normal)
Sociable(Society is everything(Must have a companion or someone to talk to))
Trusting(Not always a good thing)
Clumsy builders and craftmen(Not that good at building Huts...)

Techs:
(So far)
Stone weapons
Agriculture

NOTE:
I know we are in the tribal stage so I have no siege weapons, just wanted to have an image for the future...
