These are the times that make me wish we were set somewhere past Mass Effect 2. XD
Hazan...hmm. He's the sort of person that spends his time alone or with one or two friends. Drinking, playing cards, talking about life, that sorta thing.
I think the thing you'd find him doing the most is wandering somewhere outside, in the dark, gazing out at Omega or the stars and just thinking, contemplating life. Alone. Maybe with his rifle and a few empty bottles to shoot. He isn't very sociable for reasons of war and stuff, even though he gets along with the team fine, he can be quite awkward in proper social situations.
And he'd read. He does chat via email with his friend in the Citadel on a regular basis, along with the news. It wouldn't be too far off to see Hazan seated in the group's headquarters, a hot mug of whatever amino-stable breakfast drink in one hand, a holopad on the other with the latest issue of ANN on it. Being a morning person does that to ya.
