Yep! You would be the fifth.
There will be a screening process for anyone applying, of course. But as long as you're good at descriptive writing I doubt it will be an issue. Also everyone (myself included) will need to be able to keep up with the RP regularly. Not every day, but fairly often. But I'll explain that more later.

@MyCatGinger Not at all! Feel free, I'm glad to know that there's interest in this sort of RP.

I am limiting it to 5 people, but if one of the 5 ends up not able or willing to join for whatever reason then you can be next in line. And if this goes well I'd definitely be interested in doing another run, maybe with a bigger group. Though I don't wanna count my chickens before they hatch so I'll have to wait and see.

And yeah, @Jig helped quite a bit in the other thread. Big props to him for going out of his way to give me feedback.

After careful consideration I am making one final change: all references to there being only one survivor have been removed from the OP.

However, this does not necessarily mean that the final trial will proceed any differently than what I originally intended. It simply means that the possibility is now open, and whether or not that possibility is explored will depend on players' actions during the RP. That is all I will say about it.
