Personality: Shep's a young man, and he shows it. He's stubborn to the point of never, ever budging on any issue he's decided on. He's also ambitious, having the lofty goal of taking down the Dark Lord. This makes him a great fighter, with the will to never give up. This is contrasted with his indecisiveness, and dislike of responsibility. He's been forced into a position of leadership, and he doesn't like it. He enjoys the simpler things in life, like a good fight, and ladies. Did I mention he's a flirt? Because he will not stopping fawning over and coming onto a woman he finds attractive.
Biography: Shep was born the son of a roaming bandit named Howard, and a poor farmhand named Mary. Shep was left with his mother the first two years of his life, where she cared for him, but wished a better life on him. Howard had come back to the town one day, and, as luck would have it, the two crossed paths. Mary told Howard about his son, and Howard accepted the burden of a child, as he could provide his son a richer life, in his eyes. He had not told Mary he was a highwayman, but being the King of them, he was held in high status. Shep would then be brought into the group, treated well, as he was the son of their leader. Though Shep had not been on his father's missions first hand, he knew they were violent affairs. Howard stole from anyone he could, not caring of the consequences or if they were good or bad. While this was happening, Shep was taught the art of fighting, learning how to use a sword, a shield, and the hand crossbow.
But one fateful day, when raiding an encampment of one of the Dark Lord's subordinates, Howard was struck down. Shep was devastated, and that day, he vowed to end the war. But he was a simple boy at the age of 14, and now the onus of leading a group of outlaws was thrust upon him. He didn't want to lead, he had no idea how to command. So, he created a council, a group of his 4 most faithful fiends, and himself, and began his quest.
It's been two years now. Shep has been steadily stealing from the Dark Lord, and occasionally the King's own subjects, to fund his effort. He's also been capturing prisoners of war, and troops, to help him fight. His group is still decently know, but now their reputation is a bit better. Still, they're criminals, and they recognize they are. But they will end this war. For Howard.
Extras: He has a group of advisers. Rokal, his beefy strategist girl. Sard, the old immoral assassin. Karin, his reconnaissance and information worker. And Garth, his technological wiz. Also, he's short, but he hates when you call him that.
