Yes and mostly yes. They start out as humans, but they are allowed to, provided the power is appropriate to them, transform into something else. Like werewolves, for instance.

oh okay, I was thinking about having Anthropomorphic weasel from earth in another universe where humanoid animals live as my second charater

Actually, your idea can work. However, not in the way you want it.

See, I've done a bit of world building, and in that world building I have accounted for humanizations/anthropomorphisms of animals for just an occasion.

Alright, so in the multiverse, portals open up to people desiring an escape. This can mean a lot of things, like getting out of a bad situation or wanting to see the world or doing something with their life. So long as someone possesses a strong escapist mindset and if the person making the portals wants to make their dreams come true, they'll get portal'd to another world.

However, animals tend not to have this, due to their instinct and non-sapient nature. However, some animals are sapient enough to give off the same escapist desires that humans can present. While the portal'n on animals more likely applies to talking animals, I would say that it can work on the weasel provided it possesses the escapist ideals.

And thus, the weasel gets portal'd to whatever world you want and in the process of the dark portal nature (the portal connects to a dark sea of abyss that acts as a hyperhighway to other worlds), transformed into either a humanized version or in your case, anthropomorphized version. Would that work?

Yeah, it's par for the course whenever something enters a portal. They tend to get powers. What sort of powers are you thinking of?

On second thought, I think I'll just try a different idea and make a human character with super speed.

Okay, that's a problem.

It mainly depends on what exactly HOW fast the character goes. Superhuman speeds, like, faster than a speeding bullet or the speed of sound, would break the game because in the time it takes for someone to throw a punch, you'd thrown almost ten thousand times that. Not to mention being able to dodge almost anything that heads your way in a snap of a finger.

There are levels of super speed that are acceptable though. From what I remembered, I had a character who could move as fast as a Cheetah in a previous RPG.

No. No, no, no, no, no.

I'm not even the GM and I can see that everything is wrong with trying to enter that. Casters are NEVER balanced, and the First Folio is a walking radius of screwing the RP up. Perfect effortless medium-range illusions and distractions? There goes any challenge.

Hell, Medea is nerfed as hell as it is and, of all Casters in the Nasuverse, is the most direct of the class because she's essentially the only one of the lot that really deserves the title. The rest tend towards NP's that circumvent every weakness they have.

Uhhh, effortless illusions against one person? Uhhh, stats that are extremely low to the point of being just a regular human? The strongest thing Shakespeare had was his Enchant ability which is probably a bit strong on its own, and your complaining about First Folio when it only works on one person. I think you should start GM'ing more.

... co-GMing a Fate RP.

E-Rank is explicitly superhuman. The ability to weave an intricate, all-consuming illusion on one person is a way to remove a boss encounter with an irresistable ability. Mind-control NP's don't translate well.

Yeah, Tvtropes always was an exemplar of knowledge right(lol). You should get a better understanding of what mind control is. It has control in there for a reason. Making dummies look like fake characters and causing environments to change isn't really controlling the mind. If an illusion becomes retardedly obvious then it is retardedly obvious. If your dead dog appeared and you didn't get thoughts of suspicion when you know someone can use illusions, I don't really know what to say. I stated in the bio he got a human body, he is human now. Why do you think there are no stats listed lol. Can you at least read the sheet before criticizing it instantly?

As much as I would like to have William Shakespeare enter the RPG and then proceed to do an arc focused on Verona's fueding families, I have to agree with Rain on this. This is a good reason why you don't see many Fate characters in crossover RPGs, let alone Nasuverse characters. Their powers are on another league. Anno's managed to get Medea accepted because she wasn't that powerful a Servant compared to the others and was heavily nerfed for the RPG.

While I like some of the abilities, I can see the potential brokenness of them. Like being able to be immune to all damage from his Self-Preservation to, from what I know from reading your description, mind-reading powers (he has to observe their backstory and tell it to them, after all), something that, while not completely broken, is difficult to translate into RP without having a huge exchange of PMs, something that might be too busywork for someone's main ability.

With a tip of the hat and a recognition that Medea is still insanely broken with high thaumaturgy being able to destroy entire houses in single blasts, I leave this RP with the quest of my trolling against TvTropes and attempting to gain their salt still intact~

• Name: Edward Evans

• Age: 32

• Gender: Male

• Appearance: Ignore the gas mask and shopping cart.
As OMAC.

• Method of Travel: Lacks a reliable method of travel, forcing him to rely on inter-dimensional hitchhiking.

• Powers:

• Personality: Adventurous and an outdoorsman by nature, Evans prefers to spend his spare time hiking, hunting, and taking in all the sights the wilderness has to offer. Thus, it comes as no surprise that he spends very little time in civilized parts, making his knowledge of technology and associated topics limited. He is, however, fairly knowledgeable in regards to outdoor survival, field dressing animals, basic first aid, and so on and so forth.

• Starting World: Plain ol' Earth.

• Backstory: The owner of a small gas station in backwoods Canada, Edward Evans eked out a passable existence, and lived a relatively quiet life. Nothing exciting, but far from unpleasant, just the way he liked it. Unfortunately for good Mr. Evans, this didn't last, for Lady Luck is a fickle mistress. While out on one of his morning hikes, Evans witnessed a meteorite impact atop a nearby cliff. Moving to investigate, he discovered a thermos-like metal canister, bearing a stylized eyeball emblem. Curiosity getting the better of him, Evans opened it to inspect the contents.

As luck would have it, the canister contained a modified sample of the OMAC virus, sent hurtling across realities by Brother Eye in order to fulfill an unknown purpose. Freed from their confines, the nanites picked up a suitable host, immediately swarmed Evans, and began to convert him into an OMAC unit. Much like any normal person, Evans didn't react all too positively to this, and frantically attempted to get the bizarre substance off of his person. In a stroke of questionably good fortune, the struggle resulted in both Evans and his aggressor(s) tumbling off the cliff, and almost falling onto some rather sharp rocks. Almost being the keyword here, as a portal just so happened to wink into existence moments prior to impact.

Thus, Evans found himself elsewhere, in a shape far different from what he was used to.

And now signing up with my second character.

• Name: Han Jee-Han

• Age: 18

• Gender: Male

• Appearance: "Let's do our best to get some Experience."

• Method of Travel: He obtained a Skill to hop dimensions.

• Powers: Han Jee-Han is a Natural Ability User, or a person given an innate supernatural ability by Gaia, the consciousness of the planet Earth. Specifically, Han Jee-Han's ability is known as The Gamer, which like its name indicates, allows him to be a living video game character, especially of the RPG variety. This means he can access his own stat menus, level himself and his Skills up, be able to function in a calm an steady manner no matter the situation, heal injuries by sleeping on a bed for a few hours, make enemies drop loot when they realistically shouldn't after beating them, lug around items via an Inventory window, turn actions into Skills both Passive and Active, and even extend his video game-ness to other people by inviting them into his Party and voice chat with them.

As it is, Han Jee-Han is an Magic build character with most of his points going into the Intelligence stat, giving him a large Mana pool to work with. He also has a few body reinforcement and basic martial arts Skills to beef up his physical abilities should the enemy make it close to him. Han Jee-Han though prefers to use the Mana Projection series and its variants, which shapes his magic into solid shapes to impact the enemy with non-elemental damage or create a basic Magic Barrier spell around his body. Last but not least, he has made a familiar pact with an Earth spirit called Nome, who can be summoned to help manipulate the earth to do things such as fling boulders, dig instant holes, or hit people with a giant earth club.

• Personality: Han Jee-Han is a huge lover of any and all good games, to the point that reality shifted and turned him into a living video game character. Despite being laid back most of the time, the guy tends to be really good at concentrating single-mindedly on a task when his interest is piqued, such as grinding Skills so their proficiency goes up or hunting down dangerous creatures to gain Experience. He is also a bit of a goofball with weird quirks such as proclaiming he's a genius and laughing maniacally or cracking weird jokes. All in all though, he's a nice lad with a strong sense of morals and a very curious and inventive mind that allows him to have fun no matter the situation.

• Starting World: The Gamer-verse version of Earth

I have a cybernetic beast type character, but I'm not sure if he would fit in here. Can a GM get back to me on it? I would love to join if possible.
