WELCOME TO HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA!



Are you a monster? A..zombie? A mummy perhaps? Or maybe even a vampire? A werewolf? No matter, as long as you hate, despise humans, or even thirst their blood. Hotel Transylvania is your perfect vacation place. "Unless you're a human". Here you can steam off and relax. Whether by meeting new monsters such as yourself, or do any activities you like around the castle. There are feasts Everyday. Food and laughter in the mood. Getting bored at the hotel? Why not take your friends and terrorize the nearby town. But be aware that there will be consequences to every action you take. The townsfolk might come and attack the castle for revenge!

In this RP you get to be anyone you like to be! Either working in the hotel, or staying in it as a guest. You could be a zombie-doorman, you could be a mummy lobby boy. Whatever you want. (But you cant be the owner..obviously.). Make new friends in the hotel, or even enemies. Do what ever you want. Be CREATIVE! This will be an open RP, no specific plot.though there maybe some certain events.

@The Cook Hey I am interested in this RP but am having trouble finding a picture for my character that isn't anime, it is hard finding an actually physical picture of a monster you know. Mind if I break that rule and use a drawing?

@ayzrules yes post your CS here first. When approved you can put it in the characters tab. It's fine as long as you post from time to time.

Name: Arabella Jenkins
Age: 325
Occupation: hotel event planner
Race: Shapeshifter
Appearance:

Arabella is slender and taller than average. Her hair is usually pulled back in a bun to keep it out of her face. She can shift into any animal of her choice, so long as she is actually familiar with it. For example, Arabella has never heard of or seen pictures of a gall fly, so she wouldn't be able to shift into one.

Personality: Arabella's always paid very close attention to details. She can spot a slightly crooked table setting or a wilting flower amongst a field of vibrant wildflowers from a mile away. Arabella enjoys conversing with others, and she has a knack for memorizing important figures and pieces of information. She constantly has a mental to-do list in her mind. Arabella is a major perfectionist, and even the tiniest mistake will make her extremely uneasy. Arabella is calm and collected under stress, although she can be a bit snappish when people mess things up. To her, there is no end to the list of things that need to be done, and done now. On the rare occasion that Arabella has nothing to do, she becomes relaxed and laid back, ready to kick up her feet and lean back on some cushions with a cup of hot chocolate. Otherwise, her mind is racing at a breakneck speed, thinking ahead and planning. Planning, always planning.

Bio: Born into a wealthy English family of shapeshifters, Arabella has always been forced to keep her shifting a secret from others outside her immediate family. She grew up in high London society, educated in all the things that a proper lady should know. Among these oh-so-valuable skills came event planning. Soon enough, Arabella's dinners and balls were the place to be at. However, due to the slight inconvenience of never aging, Arabella eventually disappeared from the London scene. She spent the next two or three centuries going from country to country, getting in touch with her family's far-flung relatives. She spent some time in Paris, then in Madrid, made her way to Lisbon and Vienna and Berlin and Florence and St. Petersburg, only ever staying for around ten years at a time. Later, she went to New York and Philadelphia and even Washington DC before traveling to British India and Hong Kong and Macau. Eventually, Arabella made her way to Los Angeles, where she was hired to plan exclusive parties for Hollywood's rich and famous before learning of Hotel Transylvania. Arabella decided that she wanted to settle down for a hundred years or two, so she headed back to Europe and sought out the famed Hotel Transylvania. There, she found everything she could have wished for-a place where she wouldn't have to hide her powers, somewhere she could stay for a long time, and most importantly: plenty of events to plan.

1. Name: Goes as 'Susanne Moss' when needing to sign something for humans. Native name is Gharnlih, 'Gal' to keep it short as she is not too proud of her full name.

5. Appearance: The first of two images describes her current outfit. Gal Looks like a rather normal human when contact with light, natural or not. When any part of her body is in enough darkness, it will form into her actual appearance in the second image, with or without her consent. Likes to keep the hood on as light to her eyes gives her headache.





6. Personality: Prefers to keep distance through humor to equals, through intimidation to 'inferiors', liking a bit of act, or melodrama when she sees fit. Not having that much dread in her life has made Gal to take nothing too seriously, and being grown in a less than ideal environment has grown Gal to have poor manner and poor language.... Charming.

7. Bio: Gal was born and raised boogeyman, and damn proud of it. Being travelling along with the group her parents were in until turning 19, she turned fond of the Scandinavian Climates, and the short day especially during fall and winter. It gave her more than enough time to 'store' enough strength for the summer. Her place to live changed from lonely elders house to another where she would scare them to literal death, looking as natural heart attack in aftermath, moving out when neighbors were starting to get worried of the smell. However, now there has been a bit of incident and as Gal needs to escape the heat from a bit of exposure, she finds the Hotel Transylvania ideal place.

Name: Lucinda Blackwell
Age: 261 years old but appears 21.

Occupation: Hotel Decorator, primarily Gardner.

Race: Wizard half Wood Nymph

Resembling her Nymph blood Lucinda is a slender woman who stands at around 5’7. Her brown hair falls in curls just past her shoulders, often decorated with flowers. She has bright green eyes, slightly tan skin, and pointed ears.

Personality: Lucinda is a calm, soft-spoken individual who almost always has a smile on her face. She enjoys the beauty of the world around her and thoroughly enjoys her job. Though she doesn’t talk much she can be extremely friendly, and to those she considers her close friends she doesn’t seem as soft spoken as others perceive her. After work she can be found helping out around the hotel, anywhere she can be useful.

Bio: Lucinda was born to an odd pair of parents; one a powerful wizard and the other a wood nymph. Not long after she was born her mother left, leaving her daughter behind to rejoin her nymph sisters. After that it was just her and her father. Most of her abilities took after her father, though she had a knack for elemental magic that Mr. Blackwell associated with her mother. When she was 21 she realized that she was no longer aging, though her father hadn’t aged a day since she was born. She had always stayed away from human civilizations and only knew about them through the stories she was brought up on, thus she grew a fear of them. Sometime after her 213 birthday she decided to move out, having heard of Hotel Transylvania. She started off as a mere guest but soon turned into an employee when her predecessor retired.

Personality: Magnus is usually a well-mannered man with a gentlemanly way of talking. He can be rather flirtatious though, to both men and women and sometimes he’s oblivious to the individuals’ dislike of what he merely sees as compliments. The man would rather find a calm place to sit down and drink than any sort of wild function though he has a hard time saying no.

Personality:
» Connor is generally a very calm, very quiet person. He doesn't like to attract any attention to himself, keeps himself low, and usually stands for himself. He doesn't like participating in large social events, and even a stay at a hotel is mostly bound with way too much effort to act socially acceptable for him. However, whenever he actually finds someone who doesn't piss off the second they realise he would not talk to them at all, but stays at his side without actually annoying him, he seems rather friendly. Still calm, but definitely loyal, albeit sometimes a little reckless.
Connor also likes to play pranks. Whilst some of his pranks are considered mostly harmless, his jokes towards humans almost always result in a rather amusing and ironic -- albeit horrible -- death.
Bio:
» No one really knows where the tricksters came from. Not even Connor himself knows where his origins lay, but he doesn't really care, either way. A trickster is mostly considered to be a half-god, considering their sheer endless power; however, Connor's powers don't quite match the ones of an original trickster, apparently being caused by his other half being a simple shapeshifter. The only memory regarding that was the time he came to choose an animal, a spirit, that would resemble his animal appearance once he shifts into it. It became a rather eerie wolf, quite matching his own humour, he thought. However, no matter how long his memories reached into his past, the blond had always been on the run. A journey, actually. Around the great, wide world. No responsibilities. No fears. Simple freedom.
