I would prefer luxray I found much more use for it than a staraptor but than again in diamond my main flying type was crobat and for starter im torn between the two gardevoire and frosslass are my two fav pkmn sigh
I would go with gardevior, simply because of the mega evo, unless you were landing on a different mega.
I would like to join, but will wait for OoC to decide.
I first dabbled in pokemon with yellow. Silver was the first i played seriously. Emerald was the first i took to endgame. Pearl and platnium were the first i took to postgame. Ive also played black, white 2, y, and AlphaSaphire. I dabbled in competitive and breeding in y. Had a pretty interesting team. dragonite, heliolisk, gengar, klefki, mega medicham, and Bisharp.

Fordis by @KoL! I chose Fordis because it wasn't as strait forward as Meccanis, but still gave hints of industry. Fordis seemed more like a region name, while Meccanis sounded more like, a company to me.
@MarsAdept Would you like to state why you chose Fordis?
So Five Pokeballs to @KoL For Fordis, and the runner up gets a pokeball @Sho Minazuki
Make sure to add that in your bag items on your CS.
Legendaries will come at a certain part in the RP. I will wait til the IC so I can get it more organized on who wants which legendary. (I can tell you like Meloetta XD)

Fordis is more nature than industry though, because I'm thinking of 'fjords'.
I don't disagree with the region name, it's good, we're not really looking for official level naming meaning and scheme, but I'm just saying it doesn't seem at all industrial to me.
Also, I heard earlier we have a region mapped out now? Again, can we please put all the important information like Character Sheet in the first post if we don't have an OOC yet?
Fantasia is a prima donna, a typical diva yet very proper. She usually appears disinterested and reserved and can come across as irrational and blunt at times but has a soft and sweet side to those whom she cares about but tends to be a pessimist in ‘dire’ situations. Fantasia loves competing in Pokémon contests with her shiny Budew and often spends her time fighting for the limelight and coordinating new moves to amaze the audience. She often wears frilly and large ball gowns even to the most casual events, due to her family’s social status and her obsession with beauty. She has an irrational fear of bug Pokémon and has an unhealthy obsession with perfume.
The Heirloom Estate was home to the late Cassandra Heirloom and William Heirloom, a large home situated on a gorgeous seaside cliff. William inherited a fortune from his deceased Father, the co-creator of the Ultra ball; William continued his father’s legacy and is responsible for upbringing multiple Pokeball factories around Fordis. With this success, William had little time for his wife Cassandra who died giving birth to their child, Fantasia. In result of this, William developed social anxiety and wouldn’t allow Fantasia outside the manor grounds in fear of losing her. Growing up, a Haunter often roamed the grounds and tormented poor Fantasia; whom grew too afraid to even leave her room. At that time, her favorite hobby was opening up her window and singing to the grass and bug Pokémon that often wandered the rose garden.
After a while of this, one night she heard a stunningly beautiful voice singing along with her in the distance and from that point on, the voice sang along with her each night; gradually sounding closer as each day passed. Around a month later Fantasia twirled around her room singing along with the beautiful voice in the distance when suddenly Haunter phased though the wall and startled her so bad she began to cry, she leaned out the window and cradled her head into her arms; paralyzed. Suddenly, she felt a soft hand on her shoulder.
Fantasia looked up to a white Pokémon with flowing green hair that almost resembled sheet music and a black flowing dress. The Pokémon wiped Fantasia’s tears away and sang its beautiful song again, encouraging Fantasia to sing along with it as it floated around the room. From that day on the mysterious Pokémon would visit Fantasia every day to sing and dance, becoming her best friend and for the first time Fantasia felt happy. That was until Haunter showed up and terrified Fantasia once more in the presence of the mysterious Pokémon. Fantasia began to cry and the light green haired Pokémon began to glow, transforming into an orange head wrap and a rolling black dress with four curly points; almost like a ballerina. Suddenly, the Pokémon lunged towards Haunter and fainted him with a single hit.
All was well in the Heirloom household for a while. With no more terror, Fantasia finally left her room and would play around the house with the black dress Pokémon; often playing hide and seek out in the rose garden.
On Fantasia’s 10th birthday, William gave her the gift of her first Pokémon; a shiny Budew. Fantasia was ecstatic and blurted “I can’t wait for you to meet my other Pokémon!” her father was very confused by this and asked her to show him, her other Pokémon. She walked with her father upstairs and opened her bedroom door where the black dress Pokémon sits singing on the windowsill. The father looked at his daughter with a wide-smile and quickly ran to get a net and a Master Ball. Fantasia got very confused and ran after her father, whom shoved her aside and dashed for the Legendary Pokémon; throwing his net at it while Fantasia watched in horror.
The Pokémon fell out the window and into a rose bush. Fantasia screamed for him to stop, as the legendary began to make horribly high-pitched notes. He shoved his daughter aside and readied his Master Ball as he walked down the stairs and out toward the garden. Fantasia thought quickly and threw her new Pokeball out into the garden, triggering Budew to pop-out.
Fantasia ordered frantically for Budew to help the crying Pokémon out of the net. As soon as the Pokémon was free, Fantasia began to cry. For the final time, the Pokémon flew up to her window and wiped away her tear; letting out one last quiet but sweet song then floating away into the night, never to be seen again.
Fantasia walked downstairs to an angry father, who smacked her for allowing a Legendary Pokémon to get away. He lectured her on Meloetta, a legendary Pokémon with a hypnotic voice able to create beautiful harmonies and sound; as well as transform into a powerful fighting type. He explained how he could’ve been the only documented man ever to catch Meloetta and how much he could have sold her to a museum for a high price. Every night from then on, Fantasia would sing out her window; hoping her legendary friend was listening from a far distance.
Because of this past experience, Fantasia has grown a deep hatred for her greedy father. She died her hair to resemble the friend she used to have in Meloetta and often buys white and black clothes as a tribute to her.
Currently, Fantasia now devotes much of her time to learning about Legendary Pokémon and attending Pokémon Contests with her Budew, she just packed her bags and is ready to start her adventure as an aspiring Pokemon Coordinator; determined to keep Meloetta’s memory alive.
