I had not even played MTG till after that RP! XD it was a total coincidence! I remember I even used an Image of Garruk as one of Garrals forms after he became god of hunters. I was thinking "So many people are gunna think I copied this..."

@Musoka Well, if you do want to make a character we have open slots for demigods (who can eventually rise to god status)
If you read the OP and the characters thread, conspire with whichever god you want to father your character, I will send you the character skeleton and voila.
Then I'll give you our very short summary of the entire RP.

It's not just messing with corpses. It's taking the gift of life and twisting it. Breaking souls apart to give motion to bodies or stealing a person's soul to give to another. One assumes Escre would care for the things that happen in his domain.

@Lugubrious It is really about souls. To animate a body, a soul must be used. A soul can be split apart into many pieces to animate even more bodies. Don't think Escre will be all that pleased about that bit.

Previously, maybe. Escre never bothered with pride or with egotistical thoughts about the worth of life. Destroying souls is different from corrupting them, and since it doesn't involve the Astral Home, it matters less. If the total amount of souls ever runs dry, which I don't think this necromancy ever would do, new souls would come to be from the birth of new creatures, with fewer being recycled and made more valuable by multiple lifetimes.

Anyway, Escre is almost single-minded at this point on its goal. Anything that happens in the mean-time, short of messing with the Astral Home, amounts to nothing more than 'another thing I will fix once I am the only god'. This includes destruction of humans, necromancy, and even destruction of outsiders--after all, Escre can always make more, now that it understands the mold.

If you haven't noticed, Escre isn't your typical god, let alone life god.

@Lugubrious Oh well, maybe Thulemiz will find a way to access the Astral Home's soul reserves. Dunno if that will annoy Escre or not, but it wouldn't mess with the Astral Home itself. I forgot that Escre basically gave Quay a lesser form of necromancy ^^'

Maybe you should consider consider being amongst the Uri. They've been very quiet, have plenty of people, and don't currently worship any demigod. I imagine the conflicting interest with Ialu also trying to convert them might lead to something.

Oh yeah, you're the demigod horse of SUNLIGHT. So wait, in the end of your first post did you banish the eternal darkness that Vestec created? When you flew off to "bring light to this world"?

Hael hasn't posted in ages, even after we've mentioned him several times.

The souls are contained within Escre's private dimension, the Spirit World. I remember there being some sort of rule that beings couldn't access private planes unless invited by the gods that create them.

Hael had some issues so he was gone for 3 or 4 days. Beyond that, he's in a lot of other RPs too.

I've seen him post a few times in other RPs that we're in, so he's still on RPGuild. I think this was his favorite RP so I wouldn't count on him not coming back.

I think that even If i tried, I would still not be able to fell the Eternal Darkness since I've just became a demigod. I don't think I'm nearly as powerful as I should be in order to be able to do that...yet...

Well it's not like Vestec had darkness as a portfolio, but you've got light as a portfolio. That counts for something in my view. Didn't it only take Vestec 1 or 2 Might to create the darkness, anyways?

I have a question by the way. I am able to have minor characters, like humans with no powers, speak to me etc without needing a CS right?
