+Nation Name:
United States of America

+Leader:
President Franklin Delano Roosevelt

+Allegiance:
Allied powers

+Government:
Federal constitutional republic

+Military:
At the onset of the war, the united states was behind in terms on man power and certain aspects of military technology.

Armored forces was a particular fault early on as the united states M3 lee was a clear reflection of a ww1 mentality boasting multiple guns of various confirmations.

These faults were in the process of being fixed with the onset of the M4 Sherman but by 1941, the m4a1 Sherman was already low on the totem pole in regards to armor and fire power and still months away from deployment.

At sea, the American navy was very potent but suffered a huge blow to their battleships. Even though the remains of the battleships were salvageable and other battleships easy to replace (relative to other nations.) they began shying away from the WW1 big gun mentality in favor of cruisers and carriers.

In the air, the air force early on was average with P40 war hawks able to compete with German BF109's at moderate altitudes and the F4F wildcat carrier based fighter which faced off against the A6M Zero.

+Current Deployment of Forces:
At present, the United states maintains fighting forces in various places around the world, most being observers in the European theatre or on Territories of the United states, IE; Hawaii, Midway.

Submarine forces are scattered throughout the pacific as well as moderate forces in north Africa under command of British generals.

+Ship Name: TOS (Teutonic Order Ship) "The Voids Wrath"

+Affiliated Navy: Alternate Universe Teutonic Order which escaped the Battle of Grunwald allowing it survive if somewhat diminished.

+Allegiance: The Teutonic Order while of German origin was outside the Holy Roman Empire and thus never entered the Union of Germany. This distinction would lead to Hitler attempting to "reunite" the German land pushing the Teutonic Order to the side of the Allies.

+Captain: Sir Labrenz Hock

+Current Location: The White Sea

+Description:

Seaplane Carrier: Like many nations the Teutonic Order was behind the times industrially when the Axis powers plunged the world into a second devastating war. As such "The Voids Wrath" was not the awe-inspiring spectacle of technology and steel that one associates with Aircraft carriers, instead being closer to the Seaplane carriers of world war 1.

Seaplanes: Despite being behind the times the Teutonic Order bought out the bankrupt Bernard company and all of its aircraft designs which it then worked to modify. Basing its work on the theoretical Bernard H 110 seaplane the engineers and factories of the Teutonic Order began production of the "Heaven Guard" H 12 of which only 18 were produced before the Axis invasion, out of those "The Voids Wrath" has 6.

+Armament: Maxim M/32-33 (Mounted Machine Gun / Anti-Aircraft) x8, 37mm HE Anti-Ship Cannons x2, 60mm AP Main-Cannon, and the Crew Armory.

+Crew: Roughly 280 service members including support staff, pilots and boarding parties.

+Crew Equipment: For the most part the Teutonic Order was sensible enough to keep with the times and update their equipment list but some habits die harder than others. Each knight is issued a tempered long-sword, a Templar shield (smaller than the traditional kite-shields to make room for other equipment) and a set of heavy body-armor (Restricts movement some and slows the wearer down) as per the ancient knightly way.

+Nation Name:Canada
+Leader:William Lyon Mackenzie King
+Allegiance:Allies
+Government:Federal parliamentary,constitutional monarchy
+Military:After Germany invaded Poland in September 1939, Canada followed France, Britain and other Commonwealth nations in declaring war, but this time it did so independently. Canada would also later declare war against Italy and Japan.Canadian security relied on British success in this war, along with maintaining national security, politically speaking, some felt it was Canada’s duty to assist her allies. Canada went through many overhauls to their military that was unprepared for war, in the following year they provide troops, supplies, and equipment to Britain .Canada ranked defending itself as high as aiding Britain on their list of priorities and defend British interest in both Pacific and Atlantic theaters.During 1937 the two nations had agreed that any Canadian military equipment manufactured in Canada would use British designs. While this reasonably assumed that its troops would presumably always fight with Britain so the two forces should share equipment and so the Canadian industry manufactures Canadian equipment copying British designs. The Canadian economy boomed during the war as its industries manufactured military materiel for it's Allies in the Commonwealth

The Canadian Army is primarily a volunteer force to avoid repeating another conscription crisis like in world war one. They have a newly created Royal Canadian Armored Corp and and have many troops deployed to mainland Britain for defense of the island constantly training. troops deployed to Hong Kong fighting against the Japanese invasion of Hong Kong.
Active Person

The Royal Canadian Air Force provided the majority of Commonwealth pilots, trained under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. They have multiple squadrons in Britain,Africa, and Southeast Asia. The RCAF played key roles in the Battle of Britain, antisubmarine warfare during the Battle of the Atlantic, the bombing campaigns against German industries.

The Royal Canadian Navy defends both of their coast lines and escort merchant ships across the Atlantic and carrying out Anti Submarine operations against German U-Boats . Canada was also given the responsibility of covering two strategically key points in the Atlantic. The first is known as the "Mid-Atlantic Gap", located off the coast of Greenland. This gap was a very hostile point in the supply line which was very difficult to take control.
+Current Deployment of Forces:
The Canadian Army have Troops are in southeast Asia and the British Isles
RCAF is in southeast Asia, British Isles, and Africa.
RCN is deployed to both Pacific and Atlantic theaters.

+Ship Name: USS Tulsa, ZRCV 1
+Affiliated Navy: United States of America
+Allegiance: Allied
+Captain: Cdr. Roy E. Owens
+Current Location: Atlantic Ocean, 400 mi. WNW of Glasgow
+Description:

USS Tulsa is a 900 ft. long flying aircraft carrier with a gas capacity of 10,000,000 cubic feet of helium. Though ZRCV's were originally thought of scouting craft, they soon found their niche as an anti-submarine warfare platform, ideal for escorting trans-Atlantic shipping. They have a chief advantage of being able to stay on station, hunting and tracking a submarine for up to a week - far longer than the submarine has air, or battery charge.

The ship is painted with the upper third silver and the bottom two thirds a matte gray for camouflage. As if anyone couldn't see a 900 foot long dirigible floating at 3000 feet. There are three national insignia - one beneath the envelope in front of the control car, and one on either side of the envelope in front of the fins. The name "USS Tulsa" is on both sides near the horizontal fins; "US Navy" is in large letters near the midsection.

USS Tulsa has a trapeze hook system to carry up to 10 aircraft.
+Aircraft:
3x ZOF Seafin - single seat high wing reconnaissance type. One .30 cal machine gun. Combat radius 200 miles on internal fuel, 300 with auxiliary fuel tank. Standard observation/reconnaissance plane on all airships 1939-1945. No conventional landing gear. Designed by BuAer and built by Grumman.

2x FAZ Shrike - single seat, single engine defensive fighter. Mid-wing monoplane based broadly on the Brewster F2A, but armed with only two .03 cal. machine guns. 150 mile radius on internal fuel. Light construction and elimination of retractable landing gear gave the Shrike significantly greater speed and maneuverability than the standard F2A. Usually operated without normal landing gear, but could be fitted with simple stick landing gear for conventional landings and takeoffs when necessary. Designed and built by Brewster. Relatively few built and rarely carried by airships operating in the Atlantic.

3x PBFZ Harrier - small, twin engine 2 seat ASW floatplane, based loosely on the Grumman Goose. Capable of carrying up to 4 depth bombs, surface search radar and active/passive sonar buoys. 200 mile combat radius. With a wingspan of 49 feet, the largest aircraft routinely carried by the ZRCV ships. No defensive armament. Optimized for airship operation by BuAer, built by Grumman.

+Armament: Aside from aircraft, USS Tulsa has nine .50 cal machine guns - two facing forward, one in the bow and the other on the lower fin; two on either side along the lateral keels; and three mounted dorsally along the top of the envelope. Very few expect them to ever be more than a token defense.

+Nation Name:
United Federated Thailand-Philippines-Malay States or UFS for short.

+Leader:
President Miguel Mendoza

+Allegiance:
Allies

+Government:
Democracy

+History:
In this version of alternate history, the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand formed an alliance in order to repel and protect each sovereign nation's residents and independence. In 1898, when Emilio Aguinaldo saw the unabridged version of the Proclamation of Assimilation, he reached out for his long time allies in South East Asia. Chulalongkorn the Great of Thailand and the Malay King of Johor, Sultan Abu Bakar Ibni Al-Marhum Tun Temenggung Raja Daing Ibrahim, responded to his calls for independence. Thailand has never been invaded by any other state while the Malay people have fallen, leaving only the Kingdom of Johor independent from British or Dutch rule. In this timeline, Sultan Abu Bakar didn't travel to Britain, only traveling to France, Germany and other states in Europe. As a result, Abu Bakar had never befriended Queen Victoria. The Kingdom of Johor is the last of the Malay governed state.

Both of these powers expressed their concerns over the invasion of the Philippines, Chulalongkorn because of the obvious threat of America and Sultan Abu Bakar Ibrahim because of Western influence in South-East Asia. But due to the fact that America by this point has become a very powerful state, if they showed support now, the Kingdom of Siam and Johor is in threat.

Due to this, the Americans continued to invade the Philippines. After six months, the invasion was over. Due to the key defeats in Manila, Ilo Ilo and in the island of Mindanao, the whole of the Philippines fell under American rule. Astonishingly, the Philippines thrived under USA rule, and eventually in 1909, the Philippines gained sovereignty

Gaining military supply and a small, but noteworthy, attachment of troops. With it's newfound independence, the Philippines built up its army. Aguinaldo also renewed old alliances, allying with the Malay Kingdom of Johor and the Kingdom of Siam. By 1914, due to the recession of the British from Malay, the United Force swept through Malay, taking over. As the three states intertwined with each other, they eventually formed into one state by 1930. With US supplied arms and weaponry, the UFS became a powerful force in a limited amount of time.

Of course, not everything was fine and dandy. The island of Bali, a heavily Hindu influenced state in the Malay islands, has shown resistance against the UFS. Progress has been slow and painful, the number of heavily fortified camps on the island seemed innumerable and the losses is climbing. The Muslims in the island of Mindanao have also opposed to being part of the UFS, refusing to become one with a state that they claim "are sucking up to Western influence." A number of terrorist groups have been founded in Mindanao, the most prominent being MILF.

On the eve of World War 2, the UFS proclaimed it's alliance with the Allies.

+Culture:
The UFS is an extremely diverse state, with different religions like Catholicism, Hinduism, the Muslim religion, Buddhism and many more. Due to the nature of how it was made, the UFS are proud of the fact that their are no religious, racial or any segregation in the state. The UFS have a lot of hate of colonialism (which is quite hypocritical because of the situation in Bali and Mindanao) which is due to the fact that two of the former States in the UFS have been conquered by an outside power.

+Military:
The UFS military is heavily reliant on guerrilla tactics, traps, tactical retreats and tracking. Due to their sparse Air Force, the UFS relies more on their navy and their numerous troops. In Europe, you will never see a group of UFS soldiers larger than a company, due to the fact the soldiers do not work well in a clumped group, marching in formation and waiting to their death. They are more likely to spread out, in various strike formations, and set up traps for the enemy to come to them. A lot of the men going to Europe, a select few I might add, have already experienced warfare of some kind in the form of Bali. With the few Light Tanks they have, the UFS hold them dearly and only attach them to very experienced companies.

Soldiers are equipped with M1 Garands and Thompsons. The UFS is very light infantry based. Soldiers wear light environmental camouflage (it depends where the soldier is fighting), metal capped boots, and a beret. Most put face paint on while a sadistic few wear dark red demon masks to intimidate or frighten the opponent. Alongside their primary weapons they have .45 pistols, grenades and rope. They have various tracking tools.

The UFS Navy on the other hand is a different matter entirely. Due to the possible threat of Japan, the navy needs to be strong. While the UFS was powerful, it ain't a superpower and it couldn't sustain carriers or any type of submarines. Instead, the Navy focuses more on fast Light Attack boat squadrons escorting single Battleships. The Battleship more or less serves as a protection to the smaller ships who will try and board the other ships. Of course, this strategy is not always effective. Sometimes, you will see three or maybe four of these Battleships hammering the enemy while the Attack Boats swarm the various ships.

+Nation Name: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (core territories), the British Empire
+Leader: King George VI, Prime Minister Winston Churchill
+Allegiance: Allied Powers. War began once Nazi Germany invaded Poland, which had a defensive pact with the United Kingdom. Although British opinion was against war, once the danger presented by Germany became clear in the lead up to the conflict, the government took measures to rearm and bolster the French. These ultimately succeeded in saving the British Isles from invasion, but could not save any of Britain's continental allies.
+Government: Unitary Parliamentary Constitutional Monarchy (UK), Colonial Empire
+Military: The British military is large and diverse, consisting primarily of native British troops and Indians. Commonwealth forces are under overall British command and play an important role.

The Royal Navy is the largest in the world, consisting of many battleships, frigates, and a number of aircraft carriers, amongst other vessels. This force is scattered around the globe, with largest forces present in the North Atlantic and to a lesser extent in South East Asia.

The United Kingdom and its Empire wields a potent airforce, swelled in size and power with the advent of mass conscription and 'total war' production across both the British Isles and the Imperial holdings. The Commonwealth has assisted the British here also - Canada alone has contributed over 30 squadrons of aircraft. Most of the aircraft used are somewhat outdated compared to the other powers of the time, but more advanced models such as the Spitfire and Hurricane, as well as Lancaster Bombers, are replacing the older aeroplanes.

The British army is neither the largest nor the most well-equipped force in the world, but stands among the greatest nonetheless. Since the evacuation at Dunkirk, the United Kingdom's army has grown exponentially with conscription, and has been locked in conflict with the Italians in North Africa since the Fall of France. Although British soldiers make up a large part of the Army, Britain draws much of its force from its colonies, particularly India (34 infantry divisions, for example). Its tanks are capable and a force to be reckoned with, but are by no means as technologically advanced as its German and American counterparts, for example.

Overall, Britain's strengths lie in the Royal Navy and the vast resources and manpower it can draw from its Dominions and the Empire. Its weaknesses come from its inability to fight on all fronts and protect the entire Empire at once, and its dependence on the United States for supplies and loans.

+Current Deployment of Forces: Scattered across the globe. Significant concentration of forces in North Africa, the British Isles, and India. Limited forces in Sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia. Aircraft concentrated in Europe.

+Nation Name: Proletarii Respublika iz Kataylabinsk (People's Republic of Kataylabinsk or PRK)
Demonym (describing an individual of or something belonging to the nation): Kataylan

+Leader: Premier Commissar Yekaterina Velikaya

+Allegiance: Communist International (Comintern)

+Government: Socialist Republic. The foremost leader is the Premier Commissar or Premier, and there is a Supreme Worker's Council made up of an upper house of the following:
Agricultural Commissar: Vasiliy Filatov
Industrial Commissar: Vyacheslav Starovolkov
Welfare Commissar: Angela Garanina
Energy Commissar: Leonid Marinkin
Political Commissar: Anton Chepurin
Foreign Commissar: Miroslav Yerkhov
Justice Commissar: Tatiana Mashir
Intelligence Commissar: Anjelika Adraneda
Treasury Commissar: Adam Aleyev
War Commissar: Vladimir Emin
Transportation Commissar: Daria Trufanova
Health Commissar: Irina Kilesso
Education Commissar: Aleksei Sadykov
All of these positions are elected by the people working in the various industries, namely teachers for education, soldiers for war, farmers for agriculture, in order to represent their interests to the upper house. The terms for these and for the lower house are five years each. The lower house is represented proportionally by population, and functions similarly to the government of the United Kingdom by which different parties or factions are elected to different proportions of the house. Parties which are labeled "anti-socialist" are not allowed to compete for office. Laws and decisions must pass with a majority vote through both houses, and must be approved by the Executive Commissar unless they have an overriding majority of 75%. This allows the Premier Commissar almost complete control over the final decisions.

+Economy: The economic system of the PRK is a market socialist economy (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_socialism) in which farms, factories, and industries are owned cooperatively by the workers that work in them, electing managers democratically. The Agricultural, Industrial, Energy, and Transportation Commissars make up a Central Planning Board that helps to coordinate these cooperatives towards the best interests of the nation, though the primary economic power is held by the workers. Certain of the highest-level industries, mostly those dealing with weapons manufacture, are handled exclusively by the state.
The People's Republic of Kataylabinsk is heavily industrialized, but its economy is primarily centered around chemical manufacture and processing and electronics rather than machinery or manufactured goods, being a prime exporter of plastic, helium, artificial fertilizer, various types of fuels, radios and other simple electronics.

+History: In their previous world for about 1500 years, the Kataylabinsk Imperium stood as one of the proudest and most powerful nations. However, in the century leading up to present, following the loss of their colonies, the Imperium decayed politically and economically, unable to adjust to modern life. In its decayed state, the Kataylabinsk Imperium was an feudal monarchy in which the Emperor was merely a figurehead and the interests of petty nobles and a rising capitalist class took precedence. While the Imperium made great technological advances thanks to this partnership of state and industry, barely maintaining pace with the rest of the world, it was unable to function as an effective polity. Despite this progress, the workers of the Kataylabinsk Imperium became increasingly disillusioned with the state of affairs as their hours grew longer and safety regulations virtually disappeared. Very little would likely have happened, however, without the interference of the new Empress, crowned sixteen years ago, who quickly built up support among both the peasantry and the industrial workers for her sympathy towards their plight. With a great deal of diplomatic intrigue, she effectively performed a coup to end the feudal system and remove all capitalist influence from the government.
Having been secretly exposed to the books of Kalyrnan (the premier socialist activist in Kataylabinsk) by her uncle, the Empress became a dedicated socialist and upon achieving her coup announced the dissolution of the Imperium and the formation of a People's Republic, believing it better for the people to not have a monarchy at all. However, this decision firmly cemented her popularity and in a marvelous manipulation of events, she was elected the first Premier Commissar of the PRK. She has since then increased her nation's military forces to a significantly greater size, began an extensive spy network to support worker's revolutionary movements in other countries, and opened her nation's borders to refugees and dissenters from across the world.

+Culture: The PRK is a multinational state with a lot of diverse cultures, however the majority of citizens are Kataylan and so the majority of culture tends to revolve around them. They welcome communists and socialists from around the world, as well as any who feel persecuted for any reason, so their culture tends to be a little bit of everything.

+Military: The PRK lacks any tanks or mechanized warfare technology, and so mainly utilizes other methods of remaining competitive on the ground. Most notable among these are their MPRPs (Man-Portable Rocket Projectiles) which are carried in small numbers by most infantry regiments for use if they come into contact with enemy armored formations. These help Kataylan ground forces achieve military parity with armor-supplemented forces, especially in the numbers of troops which the PRK is able to send at their enemies.
A second unique aspect of the Kataylan military forces is that they utilize war-trained elephants, armored and outfitted with a small 40mm cannon that fires thermite rounds to disable enemy tanks. These elephants are resistant to machine-gun bullets up to .45 caliber, but tank rounds will quickly kill them, so their effectiveness relies on being able to shoot first.
Their ground forces mostly utilize rifles supplemented by submachine guns and light machine guns, which are carried by two people. They usually carry two of each of fragmentation grenades, thermite grenades, and mixed explosive/napalm grenades.
The PRK primarily utilizes Katalusha rocket artillery for the ground support role, which is slightly less accurate but significantly more deadly thanks to the explosive napalm warheads each salvo contains. The other main drawback of these artillery is the long reload time between launches.
The Kataylan navy is the pride of the People's Republic. Though all of its ships are coal-fueled, they boast considerable power and speed, and are equipped with the latest in composite alloy armor. Every ship has installed radar and relatively recent sonar systems for detecting submarines. However, due to their mostly landlocked position their navy is fairly small.
The Kataylan air force was primarily based on airships, but as the realities of modern warfare became clearer they were forced to purchase aircraft from other countries to supplement their currently existing forces, and so they now use a hybrid of the two. Their airships are however some of the most advanced in the world, utilizing a bulletproof plastic fiber called Kievar.

+Current Location:
East of Argentina, close to the north of the little island.
+Description:
3dhistory.de/wordpress/wp-content/gall..
The battleship Bismarck is named after the great leader of old, Otto Von Bismarck. Whom united germany and forged a new future for its people.
This is the same in this ships timeline. But world war 1 ended prematurely in this timeline, which gave germany more time to prepare for the second war. The national socialists party was also never elected to power, since the countries economics were never pushed so far down. Instead a more commonly styled Conservative rule. Whom rebuilt the former glory of germany and the country was cast into world war two.

The people however were more jingoistic than common nations. And wanted to create an even larger reich.
Therefore the german war machine have still gone on a massive advance, and been rather succesful.

The battleship Bismarck itself was unlike its true timeline counterpart (i'll refer to it as real from now on) not prematurely launched with inferior chances on a crazy undermanned mission. Instead it was finished together with its sister-ship Tirpitz whom both received several modifications and upgrades including reinforced armour in several places, more anti-aircraft weaponry and the ability to carry torpedo-boats along its rear hull. Sacrificing 2 scout planes.
The two ships often operated together and had an escort of a select few smaller vessels.
+Armament armour and vessels:
Armament: As built:

+Crew:
Complement:
98 out of 103 officers
1'948 out of 1'962 enlisted men
These are the official required numbers.
With an additional 50 for manning the schnellboots.
+Current situation:
Unlike its real counterpart, this vessel was never sunk in the atlantic ocean, and never sunk Hood. It however got sent on a similar mission as its real counterpart to hunt down supply fleets in the atlantic south.

This mission was however featuring both Bismarck and Tirpitz with assorting craft. 3 destroyers and two heavy cruisers.

Initially the mission seemed to be a huge success, massive tonnage was sunk until the commonwealth alliance were forced to cease supply operations in the area. The kriegsmarine saw this as a great victory.
What they didn't know however was that the initial response to the german battlegroup entering the sea was immediate and rather embarrassing retreat, the commonwealth alliance had worked a long time to create a trap.
Spies made sure the german government was given information about two simultaneous supply runs. One smaller to the north, and a massive one to the south.
The information was crucial and the "german navy could never learn of" the southern group. Which would have no defense.
The upper force was supposed to be well protected, so the kriegsmarine decided to send its wolfpacks to deal with it.

Battlegroup GroSSenstahl would take the southern supply run. Bismarcks battlegroup.
The kriegsmarine had taken the bait completely.

The trap was set, when the target date was reached the wolf packs found no trace of the supposed upper supply run. Initial confusion turned to panic when several sub-hunter bombers supported with destroyers began to hunt them down. One of the most devastating blows to the wolf packs to date.
In the south the situation was even more grim.
The commonwealth alliance had gathered a massive fleet to surround the battlegroup, to sink the scourge of the seas once and for all.
GroSSenstahl found out way to late that they were pinned in the mousetrap. A massive battle ensued.

Tirpitz and Bismarck fought valiantly, Tirpitz managed to sink two major vessels before succumbing to repeated barrages. What finally sunk the warship was a three torpedo hit barrage to the starboard bow, which annihilated the prow and resulted in the ship gulping in massive amounts of water as it kept going forward.

After seeing the battlegroup had been halved, Bismarcks captain decided to retreat to the south. The vessel performed admirably against the odds and sunk a major vessel. It also managed to get a torpedo hit against a commonwealth carrier forcing it to flee.
But massive damage had been sustained. The supporting kriegsmarine fleet was annihilated without sinking any major vessels, but a single destroyer was sunk by it.

Both sides had taken horrendous damage in the battle however, and when the Bismarck took a hit to its bridge. It went silent.
The commonwealth fleet decided that it needed to retreat, and that the enemy vessel would be sunk by a follow-up attack by destroyer groups.

Bimarck however was not beaten. True it had taken a massive blow to its officer core, several officers dead including the captain.
Kunz Hoehner was the highest ranking officer that survived the blast. He was catapulted into a toilet of all places and received injury to his legs and arms. Leaving him limp and slightly hampered in manual dexterity. And slightly ridiculed for "taking a trip to the loo without permission." While this is a hidden joke among the crew, they actually respect him fully.

Bismarck had to limp southward and managed to hide next to an island, there it performed repairs. But just as repairs were underway the commonwealth destroyer groups found it.
The vessel was doomed, only a miracle.... or lets say a rift in reality could save it now. And that is what happened before eyes of the shocked destroyer groups personnel.

Currently Bismarck have finished its repairs, none have any idea what happened but its generally decided that they should try to return home.
Sadly most of the radio equipment was destroyed, so was a lot of the navigation equipment. So they are down to a few compasses found in crew quarters, a sextant that was a decor in a mess-hall and a few random maps. Most useful of them is the world map, even though it's singed.

With this they begin their trip towards the fatherland.

Note, while this is a similar ship as Bismarck, the real Bismarck exists alongside this one. Confusing things further.

+Nation Name:  The Dominion of Newfoundland

+Leader: Priminister Lawrence J. Young (Formal head of state: King George VI)

+Allegiance: Allied Powers

+Government: Constititional Monarchy

+History: In the alternate history of this universe, Newfoundland was given the status of Sovereign Dominion in 1907, making it no longer governed by the united kingdom and thus when financial troubles hit Newfoundland, their own autonomy was too far gone for them to be federated into Canada. During 'The Grear War', as a British dominion it was required to commit to the war effort against the German Empire, it did so and sent the First Newfoundland regiment as well as a small fleet of cruisers; During the war the Navy discovered the capability of German U-Boats and thus they started their own U-Boat programme which turned out to be a success. At The Battle of The Somme, the Newfoundland regiment was consistently the first to throw themselves over the top of the trench, this was done voluntarily by the troops and they ensued heavy casualties; however due to their gallantry, in a 1927 appeal to the Judicial Committee of The Privy Council, Newfoundland was given Labrador (just as in the actual world), along with the then sparsely populated islands of Prince Edward, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and coastal portions of Quebec, much to the detest of Canada. With the islands securely transferred to Newfoundland, their economic situation began to improve as mining operations began and more trade passed through them to get to mainland Canada, the population also increased due to more arable land and now sits at just under a two million.

+Culture:

The Newfoundlanders are gung-ho about pretty much everything but especially about serving the crown, they are essentially the Austrilians of North America in that respect. Among that they are very patriotic, almost to the point of being jingoistic which doesn't mesh well with their conservative Canadian neighbors. They are also very British, practically on par with the UK and much more so then their North American Neighbors, if one were to walk down the streets of a Newfoundland town they would find it oddly reminiscent of towns in the UK, same architecture and lots of Union Jacks and Newfoundland Flags, highlighting how patriotic they are. Though the only thing that they do not retain is the British accent, they have a watered down version of it that some might say is more pleasant to listen to.

Zhu Keung, Son of Heaven and Lord of Ten Thousand Years

+Allegiance:
None

+Government:
Absolute Monarchy

+History:
The history of the Ming diverged from its counterpart during the year of 1407 when what was a short lived invasion and subsequent occupation of Vietnam in this world proved to be a tremendous and lasting success. With this lasting victory as well as others that followed in Mongolia lessening the Mongol threat, averting the death of the emperor, and preventing the invasions that would have occurred later the Yongle emperor was met with a long reign over a militant yet prosperous China. This more prosperous China would find itself able to permit the continuation of the treasure voyages and soon enough the liberalization of trade and exploration.

Merchant trade would bind China to Japan and Korea forging a loose alliance that would allow all the states to grow from both internal and external trade, even shortening the Sengoku period in Japan by supporting Oda Nubunaga. This loose alliance would solidify over time and soon enough it would severely weaken European interests in the region and stop attempts at colonialism, allowing nations like Japan to leave their borders without the threat of foreign interests disturbing the peace. Increased exploration would set the stage for the Chinese discovering the west coast of North America a decade after the voyage of Columbus. Colonies would grow and by the time the American colonies rebelled Chinese and Japanese territory under local vassals would stretch from the coast of the continent to the Rocky Mountains. So from the year 1800 onward the world would be increasingly divided between two powers, the British in the west and the Ming in the east. By the year 1876 these two empires each controlled sizable portions of the world and possessed colonies in the Americas. By the year 1877, these two empires would be at war.

The first World War that the Ming would know began as a dispute over the territory of Burma and would escalate into a vast conflict that divided the world between the European and Asian powers. Lasting from 1877 until 1883 the eight year conflict claimed the lives of twenty million people and resulted in very little territory change, setting the stage for inevitable further conflict. That conflict would finally come in 1928 and as of the year 1941 it would still be raging.

The second of the World Wars began as an attempt by the British to seize the oil rich territories of the Japanese in Indonesia and a combined attempt by the United States to size valuable western territory from the many Asian vassals in North America. The war would almost continually expand and by 1941 it would only appear to be worsening with huge British losses in India and Australia and almost corresponding United States gains on the continent.

+Culture:
The culture of Ming China has much diverged from what it was centuries ago, and the former distinctions of class have been near totally reworked. The original Four Occupations system was already in decline by the year 1500 as the scholar/officials and the Merchants increasingly became co dependant as did the farmers and artisans, and by 1567 the reigning Emperor finally ordered its dissolution. What followed was a period of floating class, where before Merchants were considered the lowest class as they produced nothing they were soon able to rise and essentially fuse with the former scholar/officials. What this created was a system where the highest class in the country were those with the most wealth, a trend that drove new policy to increase the ease of trade.

This period of floating class finally ended in 1623 when at the pressing of the merchants the new and young Emperor instituted the system of social order. Under this new system the nobility was expanded and all the wealthiest individuals in the country gained title and what came to be known as land-relationship. Those who previously held land but lacked wealth retained that land, but became technical subordinates of the new nobility while those who were wealthy and owned land were told to choose their own technical subordinates. What this meant was that the nobility held land, but that land was to be managed by its lesser owners; this greatly benefited the new nobles who had made their fortunes on trade and hadn’t the time to manage land. Those who remained were known as the common people and these individuals would fall into two distinct sub classes. First were the workers employed by the technical subordinates who fell squarely at the bottom of society. These workers were paid but often a mere pittance, however their living spaces were almost always to be provided by the merchant class on behalf of the technical subordinates. Second were the artisans and shop owners who held a rank far higher than the workers. These individuals would have generational businesses in cities or on the country side and they would provide the goods workers were unable to as well as sell the goods acquired by the merchants. Soldiers held roughly equal rank to the artisans and shopkeepers.

This system was disrupted in the Industrial revolution as the workers came to provide nearly all goods from new factories and the artisans were increasingly limited only to shopkeepers. In the revolution the conditions of workers would degrade to the point several rebellions started. These revolutions would always be crushed but they communicated the need for reform. By the modern day the standards in factories and on farms have improved, and though the workers still remain the lowest class they have gained the legal ability to refuse work if it is deemed inhumane.

+Military:
Years of warfare have shed the Ming military of many delusions, but as with all things other misconceptions have emerged in their place.

Based on prior experience battleships are totally absent from the Ming navy, having been almost totally replaced by carriers of ever expanding scale. As a result of this the Ming navy lacks large naval artillery but makes up for it with powerful dive and torpedo bombers. The ubiquitous carriers of the Ming are almost always escorted by two types of cruisers, those dedicated to surface combat to counter attackers that get too close and fend off destroyers, and those wholly devoted to anti-aircraft protection. Destroyers also play a large role for the Ming and are generally the primary surface combatants, using speed and long distance torpedoes to harass and cripple enemy formations making them easy targets for bombers. In this same role submarines have become utterly vital, with some saying they represent the backbone of the navy itself.

In the air alone an emphasis has been placed on long range bombers escorted by dedicated fighter aircraft. These bombers had once been used against the British in India and to great effect. However, this focus on large bombers has often left the army with outdated ground attack aircraft or fighters that have been repurposed with large cannons or new bomb mounts.

The Ming army itself is used to the slow and gruelling combat encountered in the jungles and steep highlands of northern Burma. This has prompted an under investment in heavy armoured vehicles which was exploited by the British on several occasions. The army has been reforming doctrine in many cases as a result of these experiences, but regardless of that at current the largest Ming tank still possesses a mere 60mm gun in a forward turret configuration.

+Nation Name:Empire Of Japan
+Leader:Emperor Showa(Hirohito)
+Allegiance:Axis
+Government:constitutional monarchy
+Military: The Imperial Japanese Military work wonder in there are of deception and skill they showed antiquated and dated equipment in their expansion into china in a clear and skillful ruse against the world, Until Dec,7,1941 the attack on pearl harbor with a large fleet of Aircraft Carriers and Modernized Aircraft and their surprise attacks all across the Pacific. Japanese Military forces are prosecuting their Country’s territorial with honor amongst the military forces and has ,a hands off policy when it comes to noncombatants and to pay for what possessions you take from others during expedition trying to avoid more unneeded hatred towards them.

Imperial Japanese Army is filled with combat experienced veterans from the campaigns in china that display a near fanatical mindset in displaying the strength of japan and show the world they are and equal to the rest of the world. The imperial Japanese army has a large inventory of equipment but their primary weapon is the Type 38 Bolt action rifle. The Japanese have a high number of tanks most are deployed in China. Most of Man power of the Army is from the conscription act that was formed in the late 1800 providing them with a large well trained , armed and supplied reserve to draw from for reinforcing their combat troops and to defend main land japan.

Imperial Japanese Navy is vast and among one of the largest naval forces in the world, using its interwar period to continuously ignore naval treaty acts and build up their fleet to large numbers. The navy designed their navy to combat the United States knowing they would eventually draw America into the war with them to cease their Country expansion. They did this amongst many challenges of being an Island nation. Japan continued to attribute considerable prestige to battleships and endeavored to build the largest and most powerful ships of the period. Yamaoto, the heaviest and most heavily armed battleship in history, was launched in 1941. Japan put particular emphasis on Aircraft Carriers. The Imperial Japanese Navy started the Pacific war with 10 aircraft carriers; the largest and most modern carrier fleet in the world at that time. Destroyers included some of the most formidable destroyers of their day. This came as a nasty surprise to the Allies, who had generally underestimated Japanese technical capabilities.

Imperial Japanese Army/ Navy Air Service has two different air services one for the Army and one for the Navy in place a single standing Aviation arm that provide and Aerial support to either Japanese troops or Their navy. They contain a wide and diverse modernized Aircraft inventory spread across their pacfic that that can be land based or sea based fighter, bomber, and reconnaissance.
+Current Deployment of Forces: Mainland China, French Indo China, Philippine Islands, and Pacific Islands

Nation Name: The Republic of South Africa

Orange is claimed but not controlled

Leader: Charl Hoedemaker
Allegiance: Axis
Government: Federal Republic
History: South Africa remains mostly the same as in our timeline, save for an earlier surge of Afrikaaner nationalism, leading to a rapid racial divide in South Africa. Leading to tensions with the British. When WW2 broke out, South Africa saw it as time to separate, and the Union declared its independence, taking with them the whole of the old Dominon and claiming South-West Africa/Namibia, and invading the terrirory in hopes of taking it with them. At the moment, South Africa is trying to appeal to Germany to help support them gaining independance.
Culture: This South Africa is very rooted in Afrikaaner nationalism, Afrikaans is the only official language, with English even being outright banned. The divide between whites and blacks is very wide, with the two not even allowed to use the same facilitiesm. Many black south africans are fleeing to British territories looking for asylum.
Military: South Africa's military is based on, and mostly made up of remnants from, the British military. South Africa has a very strong land army and a decent air force, but a mediocre navy at best.
