A slim woman who always has a half smile on her face, she is about 1,68m tall and has a body that is soft enough to show she was not trained to be a warrior. She has a flecked face, brown hair and magenta eyes. She likes to wear well but practically, preferring to avoid long dresses or skirts.

Personality: She is someone who at first is very pleasing, she smiles a lot and has gentle words. Despite that being mostly a mask her true personality isn't that far, she just happens to be more prone to make the nasty observations and laugh at other's mistake. She tries her best to be on nobody's bad side, so she keeps her business honest and avoids causing too much harm to others. She also has a true sense of chivalry, but its more because she thinks it is fancy than an ideal of justice.

Biography: She is the daughter of a merchant lord, that means she is better off than the average peasant but has not the regalia of a noble. She lived a pretty simple life in a coastal city, she played with kids across the streets, was a pretty face to distract her father's clients and studied in the local academy, she studied battling with rapiers as a hobby, her main objective was to acquire the right to carry swords in public, just to put a little more respect whenever she was dealing with someone.

When the gods she received a message from Hermes, her father at first tried to dissuade her from getting involved with the Labyrinth but she was keen on accepting the call.

Skills:
- Similar to fencing her swordsmanship is focused thrusting attacks while parrying or dodging the enemy's blade. She uses the rapier and has little experience with anything larger or smaller than that. Of course, she also don't use a shield, since her whole style is focused on avoiding attacks.

- She has experience with commerce, being trained on the social skill required to talk with clients and the logistic necessary to run a business. She has no training in any craft

- Being a child who played a lot in a city and who later trained on an agile battle-style she is moderately dexterous with movements, not as good as an acrobat but she knows how to move well while jumping or running.

This NPC is less here as a "character" and more here just so that, when you go to the market to buy and sell miscellaneous loot, you're not talking to a faceless merchant. As such, he is a one-dimensional piece of trash with less detail in his sheet than there is in this description of why I made him.

He also might be able to give you better prices on magic weapons/armor than Hephaestus and potions than Thoth, if you raise your relationship with him high enough. Until then, though, you should probably stick to buying those specific things from the Gods. Use him well. I present to you, your merchant.

Appearance: A face that could be mistaken for a young lady’s is probably what catches most people’s attention first. While not blessed with a large stature, at only 5’7 (1.71m), Alexander does have a taut muscular build that’s easily hidden given his choice of attire.

Given his appearance Alexander has grown quite fond of the uniform and armor. Tabard aside, the steel plate definitely lends an air of authority and intimidation alongside the face guard that reveals only a small part.

Personality: A relatively upbeat individual who enjoys putting forth his 100% whenever practical. Not particularly overbearing, Alexander rarely expects people to keep up, but can get a bit annoyed if no effort is even bothered with. He’s not afraid to push against his limits and will hardly ever complain, but also understands the importance of some R&R occasionally.

Mixes his enthusiasm with a level head, so it’s actually rather easy to calm Alexander down. In the same vein, he is rather slow and hard to anger. There are quite a number of things that do annoy him, from comments about his appearance to violating the law right in front of him, but actually making him mad is an entirely different beast.

If there would be a vice that Alexander would be guilty indulging in it would probably have to be his battlelust. Don’t let the appearance fool you, but he enjoys very little more than a nice fight whether it be friendly or with lives on the line. His carefree nature during these battles, regardless of how serious they actually are, can be somewhat off putting, though he’s learned to control himself better thanks to the criticism of those above him.

Biography: Grew up in one of the largest cities and oldest cities whose walls still stood tall as a reminder of the times where things that warranted it still existed in the world. Always looking upwards, Alexander desired to one day stand atop the massive structure. Despite his girlish appearance even when young, he was just as hardy as any of the other boys and driven by his desire eventually even outpaced many. Course some of the other boys didn’t like that, so scraps became a rather common thing.

Eventually he did join into the City Guard. The fights didn’t stop there though, as growing up had only made his appearance even more questionable. He spent quite a few hours every week proving that he deserved to be there with every other recruit. Some people got the message, others didn’t, a few simply enjoyed a good brawl as Alexander had come to, and there were also a special case here and there...

In the end, he did manage to become part of the Guard and quickly proved himself to be a capable member. His enthusiasm and dedication caught the attention of someone above him and though certain problems with his personality prevented promotion, Alexander did see better equipment and more problematic assignments sooner than other graduates.

With the God’s descent and the opening of the Labyrinth once more though, he’s set his sights beyond the city’s walls.

Skills
Sword and Board: The basic fighting style the Guard is trained in that uses sword in one hand and shield in the other. Alexander is a more offensive-based fight who pushes forward with a flurry of blows and blocks; fluid and always moving. He steps forward to cut strikes short with his shield and even relies on his armor to take strikes if it means an opening he can take advantage of. His weapon, with its lack of handguard, swings just that much faster than an usual sword and his swordplay reflects that small difference.

Many Blows, Strike Fast: Alexander’s unarmed style is also heavily offensive based. Rather than any single powerful strike to put down opponents, he wears and tires down his enemies with swift movements and numerous hits. Sticking to his enemies, refusing any distance, cutting their attacks short, and retaliating when they’re off balance.

Guard on Watch: Not an investigator by any means, there’s a separate squad for that, Alexander nonetheless possesses a keen eye and good situational awareness. Tied in is also greater stamina, both mental and physical, thanks to long shifts being quite common for him. The guard can’t slack just because it’s been ten hours after all!

Clank, clank, I’m catching Up!: While not particularly stealthy given his distinct tabard and noisy armor, Alexander is quite faster than most people would expect. Disregarding acrobatic feats, he’s actually managed to run down a few criminals before they realize what hit them and can keep up a good chase for a substantial amount of time.

Noooo, don’t break!: Alexander is a far cry from a craftsman, but he did learn the basics for how to keep and maintain the various pieces of equipment he may be assigned. While he’s best with what he uses most often, he does have training to service a variety of different armors, weapons, and other things.

Personality: To many, Elisabetta seems to act rather crass and heavy-handed in most situations one would find her in. Unable to proficiently project a semblance of reserve, Elisabetta is someone who could exemplify what an "adventurer", in a more true sense, is. A vagabond who simply acts on their own will. Despite this, Elisabetta seems to care about those around her, though she would most likely never admit or get embarrassed when confronted about the issue.

Biography: Elisabetta was once a member of the Alidosi family, a knight family of prestige. Renowned for their martial prowess and adherence to a strict moral code, they served mainly as bodyguards for high-priority individual who could afford their price. Well off and well maintained, even mishaps occur.

Due to her father's inability to carry out a mission, her family was stripped of her honor and reduced to shambles, her father executed for his neglect.

Although Elisabetta understood that this was a higher will and she would not be able to undo what has been done, she looks for the future, trying to establish her family once again.

Skills:

One-handed Sabers: Alidosi Style: Though most sword styles focus on defending against oppressors in the western sphere, the Alidosi style focuses more on dealing as much damage as possible within a given frame utilizing agility, finesse, and methodical planning.

Cooking: Increases the energy gained from edible items through skillful employment of "cooking".

Counter: A percentage chance that in the event Liss is selected as a target for a damaging attack or spell, she will nullify the damage and land an instantaneous counterattack upon the offender. Percentage chance proportional to the current disposition Liss is in.

Perseverance: A reduction of damage from abilities and moves which graze or "miss vital areas".

Irinai: The sword which was once the symbol of the Alidosi family. A well-constructed sword which seems to shine with an unnatural hue, though due to age and weather, it is beyond a state of disrepair. Despite this, Liss seems to guard it with fervor.

Name: Cran the pacifist.

Title:

Gender: Male

Appearance: Cran wears many different outfits, but under he wears chain-mail underneath, constantly. His outfits tend to have one thing in common. They have vibrant colors, both his shirts and pants. His shoes tend to be wooden, oddly enough.

Personality: Cran is kind, forgiving, and peaceful. He is willing to forgive easily, and seeks to help others when he can. However, Cran does enjoy to fight when it is for fun, rather than survival. He makes horrible jokes, and puns, trying to be funny. Some find him annoying, but to others, they may find a wacky friend. He is also a pacifist, not willing to kill another living being. This has lead to him being a vegetarian.

Biography: Cran was born under a different name, but all records of his former life have been erased. As a baby, he was lost when the boat carrying him and his family was sunk by pirate cannon fire. Luckly, for Cran, he was carried by a barrel to land, where on the coast of an island, he was found by a monk. This monk, rather old, knew that Cran would die if just left on the beach, so he took in the baby, and named him Cran, after the letters that could be made out on the barrel that had carried Cran to the island. The monk trained Cran in his religion and martial arts style, focusing on finding inner peace, and protecting life, for all life is sacred.
However, the monk was old. When Cran was about 16, the monk died from old age...but Cran was willing to carry on the teachings of the monk. Creating a raft, Cran sailed out to sea, and was picked up by a passing merchant ship, and carried back to the mainlands. When he heard about the labyrinth opening, he set out, determined to spread the teachings of his friend, the old monk.

Skills:
Pacifistic Martial arts: Learned from his old master, Cran carries on the way of the old monk, his martial arts style centered around defeating his foes without killing them. However, do not mistake this for him not being willing to hurt others, if he has to. His fighting style uses grabs, and holds, in an attempt to make his target pass out by constricting vitals in order to slow the flow of blood to the brain. He knows how to do this with both humanoids, if they follow similar biological laws as humans, and animals, to a lesser extent. If this should fail, he uses on his personal spin on the monk's grapple style, which involves disabling limbs by breaking them, or dislocating them.

Gatherer: Cran is skilled at gathering fruits, and root vegies, as he had to on his island home in the start of his life. He does plant the seeds from the fruits, or replants a part of the root so it can grow on, ect. For him, it's giving back what he takes.

Guild: Begrudgingly, Ares.

Equipment: None, really, other than his clothing and chain mail.
