It was some guy - who I will give the benefit of the doubt of being young - who clearly hadn't read the background properly, as his character was 'from a different planet to Landren'. His GEAR also had energy weapons out the ass - which again, doesn't go with the background - and the ones he did have didn't even make sense; 'laser particles' being one of them.
I don't think he (I'm presuming he) was expecting the game to be quite as in-depth as it was, and quietly retreated from sight after I politely pointed out the problems with the sheet.

Once Shadowman has posted, I'll get another IC post up.

Probably, sounds about right xD
I think that was the worst character we ever had submitted, but it was so bad it was funny, almost. Though, not to poke too much fun at anyone's attempt at doing things. I think mainly I still look back on it and find it something to laugh at though, due to the absolutely obvious lack of taking any of the background into account.

Alas yes, it was on the old guild, and has been lost to the whims of the internet, along with so much else on the old guild. I wish I had saved it so I could share the amazing weirdness of it with you all.

New IC post is up for those of you currently in the game. It's not got a lot of stuff to react to, other than Silvers' conversation - although, I think we're due some character interaction moments, rather than action right now. Feel free to ask him anything, or to involve him in conversation as he's leaving the room. Irry is also there, and I'll reply as her if needed.

New players, and those with new characters - I'll involve you all in a mass PM once I have all the new characters submitted, so you can start in parallel to where we'll be, and our arrival.

Machine, I'm guessing you have an actual new character in mind? xD

Because in all seriousness, I'm definitely not approving the one you've posted ;P

So, things are a bit quiet currently - no idea where Machine has got to, so I'll PM him to find out what he's planning.
Other than that, if anyone else wants to get replies up to my last post then go ahead, and I'll make another IC to keep things moving at the end of the week (i.e. Friday) with the debrief, and our impending arrival to the base. I'll send out PM's to the new players at the same time.
