Yes please
Been a while since I've seen activity. Should I advance turn?

Don't see why not, since those that miss it can just get a prep turn.
Summer is weird. You'd expect more posts, but people end up being more busy or preoccupied with other shit.
Still, the pace right now -while not as fast and loose as before- is pretty good.
@Cyclone
I use an empty map template off google and put it in photoshop. In new layers I add the terrain, towns, text etc. using custom brushes designed for this exact thing. My favourite is a set of lotr-esque brushes containing trees, mountains and buildings! Very simple.
For the fog of war thing I just have a pitch-black layer on top of everything except the text and reduce the opacity so that it just becomes a 'fog', and then I use the erasor tool to line our the explored area.
It's quite fun!

Ah, cool. If you haven't seen it before, a cool thing that I like for making maps is this: fantasynamegenerators.com/map-creator...
It can actually make stuff that looks pretty similar to this RP's map, so I actually thought that you may have used it.
This is my application. I understand some players are on pause and it may not currently be open right now... I just want to cement my interest.Kingdom Name: Kingdom of Aeroral
Represented Color:
Race: Human
Capital: Tower Hold
Ruler: Princess/Queen Lestra
Type of Government: Monarchy
Religion: Deism
Geographical Location: i.imgur.com/J9qPZEm.png
History: The Kingdom of Aeroral wasn't always Aeroral... back in its origins, it had another name. Although, it had a better life. It had... people, land, nobility, armies, it had a deep history that started with nothing more than some hard working hands. It was a massively large kingdom with flourishing lands, full of food, coin, and life. Its' people were gracious and kind, tactful and honorable. Strength and strategic, their armies were great, but they were not a warfaring people. They had such large armies, and experienced armies, to fight back the hordes of enemies that wished to control their people and own their land and riches. And for a third of its life, in its final moments, it became the target of a much greater nation. While the old Kingdom reached far and wide, this new enemy had an army that... may not have been the most elite, but their numbers were far too great, and even after each soldier of the old kingdom would cut down many enemies, there were hordes more behind those bodies. Eventually the war pushed to their front door, to their main capitol. With no more military might, the great kingdom was to fall. The Old King stayed behind, preparing and securing his daughters escape. He gave her his personal guard, the remaining townsfolk, and his most trusted soldier, staying with the last of his front line soldiers. Now, fleeing from being hunted, the titles and names have changed, to hopefully rebirth new life again.
The concept of this roleplay truly has me fascinated, and if it weren't for my impenetrable sense of sloth I'd actually read the entire thing in full just to see how everything's played out.
[I, more than likely, will end up doing this, unless I start to do it then suddenly regret it dearly]
Consider me a lurker for now; just hanging around observing, for the most part. If you'd rather not have lurkers hanging about just say so and I'll make myself scarce- or alternatively attempt to pursue a more proactive roll, but for now my goal is to just read up on everything so far.
Here's hoping to no regrets- things certainly look interesting from the OP and introductory posts thus far.
