Somehow I prefer pokemon than SoS brigade stuff well the new pokemon right now...its really nice and relief form last season....that was a disgrace...

Never watched it but seen alot of it when I went to japan and such lol lately been watching cartoons more than anime such as...We bare bears!! XD Its oddly cute.

There's no level up system but can you explain what you mean? Specifically the "1d20+2 roll on hit". I might implement something like it depending on what it is.

It means like, a 20 sided dice roll, with a 2 point modifier. Say you roll a 4, meaning you missed, but with the modifier, it modifies your point by two so you get a 6, so you hit the target. Modifiers usually do not count towards criticals so, if the range for a critical is 18-20, you must get those numbers on the natural roll, and not with modifiers. So 16+2 and 17+2 won't crit, but 18->20 will.

And now that we're on the subject, will enemies have difficulty checks as well?

Oh, alright. Nah, there won't be die modifications like that. That's done through Sukukaja skills and equipment. I haven't actually thought about Criticals yet. Maybe roll a second die and land in the range of 18-20? Skills that ups crits make the requirement 15-20?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by difficulty check. Enemies' difficulty will correspond to the dungeon they're located in.

I'd simply recommend just one roll like normal, and if it lands on a 19-20 it automatically crits. The skills that ups crit rate could be that 15-20 yeah.

What I meant by difficulty checks was something like the monster having a modifier against your accuracy as they grow stronger and all that. Like a monster with a 5 diff check would minus 5 against your natural rolls plus modifiers.

Alright, one die sounds fair. Now that I think about it, why the he'll did I suggest a second die? Brain fart :P

Wouldn't that mean we need a level system for that to work or I might still not understand what you mean completely.

Yeah. Hence the modifiers. We do get better modifiers with better gears right? I'm thinking of kitting out my char with more doge gears if I can.

Yeah, there will be equipment that will allow you to build a dodgy/accurate character. The enemies are already accurate will the normal 5-20 roll but I think I might up that for a better challenge.

EDIT: A small sentence or two have been added concerning Critical Hits at the last part of the second paragraph in "Battles & Dungeon Crawling".
