After walking for a few hours, Haruka had finally come to the decrepit palace of an angry person. It occurred to her that prying his door open might make him even angrier, but it had to be done in order to take care of the evil residing in his house. Immediately, Haruka leapt to assist Al with the door.

"Worry not now about breakfast, drunken lady," Haruka called out to Wykes while attempting to pry the door open with Al, "I posses many rations for everyone and also there is alcohol! We will have you fed and drunk quickly after I take care of this, if you so desire."

Surely, the combined strength of the two would quickly take care of the door no matter how stuck. Then, they could adventure and fight evil and perhaps get money. Money was good, because it made people speak more. This was important in order to find whoever murdered her master.

The sound of bending metal groaned from inside, until with a sudden wrench the door cracked open several inches, forced off its locks.

"We did it!" Al cheered. Sticking his fingers between the doors, he pried the door open the rest of the way. Several large cogs fell out from behind the hinges, and an auto-crossbow fell to the ground.

"Guess we must have broke the trap. Cool." the swordsman smiled, placing his hands on his hips. Turning aside, he pet the Hundi that just helped him open the way in.
"Thanks for the help by the way."

The knight scratched the back of her head. "Thank you" she told the dog-lady with the strange accent. "If you just have water, that'll be fine. I seem to have misplaced my canteen." she said. Sergeant Wykes readjusted herself on her horse, undoing the safety straps she had on just for comfort. She reigned the horse near the door and took a peak inside. "HELLO!" the knight yelled, checking for an echo more than a real response.

Well, it seemed as if the commotion was ended. On top of that, Sophia had at last managed to deliver her explanation of the Castle and what lay within it. Naturally they would not be entering through the front door. A trapped lock and a pit trap directly beyond it? Even before Tanya had heard of the specific traps laying within the Mad King's castle she would have guessed entering through the front door to be nothing short of folly. Quite lethal folly. Besides, surely there was some other way to enter through the broken tower, wasn't there? There had to be in such a ruin.

Striding towards the door, Tanya turned to face the assembled party with a small sigh. If only her usual comrades, at least aside from the Mayonite Paladin and Sophia, were not so preoccupied. She hardly enjoyed having to solicit help from people with purely mercenary intent, but it was all she could do at this point. "Follow me, then."

With that, she left the tavern.

She would gather her supplies, and they would arrive at the tower of the Prison quite shortly. There was no point in wasting any further time.
