@Agent B52 Don't worry about it. I'm not planning on actually starting the IC for days. I'm on vacation right now, so I can't access my computer very often (this is why Godmod is pretty much running the show).

EDIT: As of this moment, weaponized teleportation is banned from the rp. So no teleporting explosives into ships/inside of shields and no teleporting people out of ships. This is the textbook definition of an autohit.

Hey guys. It's been a while since I last even logged in to see what was going down. Luckily, my other OOC i'm in is pretty quiet for now, but I thought I owed you guys some apology. I've been kinda busy with personal emergencies and trying to write some short stories and I have not really been able to find to time to write up stuff for the RP. I am trying my hardest to stay up to date with the RP and I will try to stay as active as possible on the IC, but time may not permit. I will get a minimum of one IC post done a week and it will be decently long, but my really good posts wont begin for a bit. My character is still in the works, as I am having to go back and corrects certain aspects that I find while I write him and his crew.

Anyway, as I haven't been on, I figured I would use this post as a bit of a catch all, so here I go.

@President Taco Yo chill dude. We need your character to work BEFORE the IC starts, because I think I can speak for all of us when I say we don't want to have to retcon. If you're being sarcastic, don't. It doesn't transfer over text well at all (as I think you could see from Maxx's reaction).

@Maxx What do you think the biggest acceptable size for a ship would be? Would it matter if a ship had proportionate disadvantages? One of the major drawbacks to my ship, is that although it has big guns, the big guns are slow guns. They fire slow and track slow, so a faster ship could easily kite past the guns at optimal speeds and ranges. Also, I am sending you a pm because I have a question on my captain's story.

And lastly, I'm excited for the amount of support this RP is getting. I think that this is going to be one slam dunk RP.

Cheese, Haven't we already established that my character works? Just because you don't understand, doesn't mean that it doesn't work. Max has already accepted it, and so has Godmod, because they get the idea, besides, this is old news no need to rehash this all over again. Just roll with it.

@amol_kotay There's no hard-and-fast limit on the size of a ship, so long as there's proportionate disadvantages. Still, try to stay within reason. A ship the size of a moon is a little excessive (coughsgeorgelucascoughs), but besides that go nuts.

Yeah, it's just that there's not really a lot to discuss here in the OOC, because there is no IC, and in addition, because there is no IC, there is no story to build upon. There will be more traffic when the OP is out.

Okay, so this seems pretty dead, but I don't want to crush anyone's hopes and dreams, so Godmod and I have decided to leave the fate of the rp up to a vote. If at least five people want to continue with the rp, then we do it. If not, then I will close the roleplay and abort it. Just say below whether you vote yes or no. I personally choose to abstain. I see benefits to running the rp, but I've also become extremely busy as of late with my own writing and with IRL things like college. What do you guys think?

No, Taco, you've got me completely wrong. I don't abandon stuff because I keep people waiting, I abandon stuff because I am committed to creating a high-quality product and having two or three people in a roleplay generally does not come out to a high-quality product. If there's only four people in a roleplay like this, then that roleplay probably won't be very good. I say this because the map for this rp is very big (spans two solar systems) and so we need a large group to keep interactions up. Now I admit that this time, the problem here was caused by my own absence, but I couldn't control that. I'm not going to toss out my vacation for a roleplay, and I don't think anyone else here would either. Evidently by the fact that only two people replied to my question, there's not much interest in this, and so I may very well get rid of it.

Also, in the future please don't use my IRL name unless I give you permission to.

Sorry to do this to you all, but I am dropping out. I return to school on the 12th and I am trying to limit my roleplays here, so I don't get caught in so many and cause people to wait on me.
