Ashido Kazuyaka
Ward 1, CCG Main Office, Conference room 3, Wednesday, Early MorningIt was early morning at the CCG Main Office, Ashido had been handed a fresh case for his Squad to work on and upon looking over it he knew it'd no doubt be him doing most of the work but he'd make sure his Squad got their ass in gear. Ashido had requested his Squad be at Conference room 3 before he got there...however someone was usually late
Ashido walked through the halls of the CCG's Main Office holding some files in his left hand and a coffee in his right. Glancing down at the files he took a sip of his coffee before stopping outside of conference room 3, Ashido then took a deep breath and closed his eyes before exhaling and re-opening his eyes opening the door with his left hand, thankfully these handles were normal ones and not those stupid twisting ones. Stepping into the room Ashido walked up to the large desk and dropped the files down on the desk and sipped his coffee once more before speaking "
Right we all here? Cause we've got a big case and the higher ups are on all our asses again..."
[Ward 1]
Naota sat inside of the 3rd Conference room, his leg constantly shaking. Just like every other mission, he was nervous and was jittery due to his excitement. Not only that, but he was just recently promoted to Rank 1 Investigator despite his youth. Naota had captured many Ghouls and had slain even more.
Hehe, I'm finally catching up to you Hyakuya-kun. It won't be long before I finally catch up to your rank. Ashido finally walked into the room, Naota immediately straightening his back and saluting the man "Y-yes sir, I am present! I shall do my best not to disappoint you sir!" He yelled out loud, no longer being able to control his voice. Naota cleared his throat and slumped in his seat, feeling ridiculously already.
I will make up for this out in the field, there I'll definitely gain their respects. Naota nodded to himself, unaware if anyone was watching.

Ayame waltzed into the conference room half asleep, not shutting the door behind her all the way as she entered. She knew she shouldn't have stayed up as long as she did but all that was done. She'd just have to troop through today and sleep in her comfy bed for 12 hours when she got back. Quietly, she took her seat at the table across from Naota.
"Sorry I'm late." She leaned sideways in her chair, resting her head on her right hand, elbow on the armrest, ready for Ashido to move on with the meeting.
Yokoyama Shizue
Ward 1, CCG Main Office, Conference room 3
Yokoyama was already sitting in the room when Ashido came in and asked if everyone was there. He was sitting down and on his phone not really paying attention to any one. One thing that did catch his attention was Naota's out burst. He laugh to him self quietly, the kid was always trying to impress some one and it always made Yokoyama laugh, not that he looked funny but because he tried so hard when most of us had already given him our respect.
"I think that is all of us."
Ashido Kazuyaka
Ward 1, CCG Main Office, Conference room 3, Wednesday, Early MorningAshido looked around the room then to Ayame as she stumbled her way in, Ashido however shrugged this off "
Let's just start this." Ashido put his coffee down on the table then picked up the file with his right hand before opening it and taking out 4 sheets and handing them to each person individually, keeping one for himself. "
So we have 21 bodies, Both human and ghoul alike. We're to collect samples and look for anything suspicious or something that could identify the ghoul that did this...we could suspect the Yatagarasu group but they had a run in with a large group of investigators in the 8th Ward a few hours before this...that much we know which does make me doubt they had any real involvement in this...this isn't their usual style anyway. You know the drill though...we will be splitting into teams of two. I'll be taking Ayame with me to make sure she stays awake and on top form...that means that Naota will be taking Yokoyama with him." Ashido then put the file down on the desk and picked up his coffee with his right hand and took a sip before speaking again "
Now...Ayame and me will be investigating the crime scene itself...what I want you to do Naota and Yokoyama is ask around and see if there were any witnesses...with that said anyone else got any questions?"
[1st Ward]
Naota nodded in agreement with Ashido's analysis. Yatagarasu was known as a brutal organisation but in reality, that was merely propaganda to inflate the war against Ghouls. Granted they were still dangerous but not all of them were mass murderers. And most of the mass murders by Yatagarasu occurred within their owned districts rather than Neutral territories. It had to of been someone else. Naota snapped out of his daze when Ashido placed the file down, jolting up with his back straight. Naota wanted to pout at the task they were given. It sounded so boring to him and doubted that any useful witnesses would of left a while ago. But still, it didn't hurt to check. Naota nodded at his superior "Yes sir! I'll be sure to ask the best questions I can!" He said, giving Ashido a thumbs up.

"Yes, yes. Whatever you say, boss."
Pfft, why did we have to have a meeting, if we were gonna just get up and go? At least I am gonna get paired up with the boss though. Hate to actually do most of the work. She quickly browsed through the paper. Nothing too shocking. A gang war between predator and pray most likely. Even if ghouls were evil, she knew that they had to eat to survive. She just wished that we could get over our biased fears and just work out a solution between all of us, for the good of the people. Of course, she didn't have the same reasons as some, like revenge or hatred, to put the massacring ghouls away forever. To her this was just a job that respectably paid the little bills that she did have.

"Sounds like fun." He said with a smirk.
He could really care less who he got paired with, but was glad to get the enthusiastic one. The little guy seemed so excited and ready so serve. He then read over the file and his face darkened at the contents. He hated reading about ghoul's and their killing spires but it was apart of the job so he sucked it up and put another smile back on his face.
Ashido Kazuyaka
Ward 1, CCG Main Office, Conference room 3, Wednesday, Early MorningAshido looked at his Squad as he took another sip of his coffee before setting it down and speaking "
We will start our investigation at night...So Ayame meet me at the crime scene in the 7th Ward. As for Naota and Yokoyama...you two will also meet there at night however you can begin looking around any other clues and witnesses...remember if you get into trouble to let us know...as it's night those Ghouls will be out, so be aware of your surroundings. That'll conclude our meeting you can all go do your days paperwork...you can knock off an hour early in preperation for our investigation later"
[1st Ward]
Naota nodded at Ashido's words, understanding why they should go at night. Although dangerous, it was when the Ghouls hunted the most. Naota wanted to go immediately and start checking the scene but Ashido had told them to go do their days paperwork. Naoto mischievously looked at his partner, creeping closer to him to be in whisper distance "Psst, wanna race to see who finishes their paperwork first? That way, we can get out of this place quicker?" He said with a wide smile. Nata always hated paperwork, it was like hell to him. While others were out there doing stuff, he would be inside writing the same damn thing like a robot. He kept an eye out for Ashido to make sure he wouldn't notice, although chances are he already would of.

Ayame just about nodded off at the end of the speech, but woke up in time to hear him conclude the meeting. With a big yawn, she got up and waltzed back out the door the same way she entered. Not paying mind to anyone as she made her way to her desk and worked on paperwork. She knew the drill, paperwork was the only thing anyone ever did around here. So much so, that she became quite efficient at it. Finishing her set of papers as lunch ended, though she hadn't eaten herself.
