It watched from the shadows, stalking those that wandered the streets without any worry. It waited in silence for the perfect moment, before a young girl sat on a bench without anyone nearby. It wandered over to the bench and sat beside the girl, not saying a word.

"Oh, umm....Hi."

The girl said to try and break the silence. She had seen this person around town but they always seemed to avoid people except for a few people.

Suddenly It stood up and walked away, leaving an eerie atmosphere in the air. The girl tried to leave but couldn't move, something had grabbed on to her. Before any noise could be made, she was gone. No trace of her was left, not a single sign that she was even here in the first place.

Then, the lights came on revealing a lab with tons of chemicals and machinery. The girl was strapped to a table and could see It walking around the lab.

"What's going on? What are you going to do to me?"

Nothing. Only silence as It started at her, weird pieces of equipment in Its hands.

"Let me go! You can't keep me here! Say Something!"

More nothingness. No response on any terms. Then the room went black, the only thing that remained were screams and the scent of blood.

The world seemed like a blur, everything unfocused spinning as if you couldn't see what you were looking at. The trees, the grass, the sky all swirling making it so you couldn't tell where one began as the other one ended. Suddenly, all was still...the only thing to be noticed was a brown blur in the distance, nothing else drawing attention but it as detail started to slowly sink into the picture until everything was clear.

The large brick campus came into view, everyone going about their day completely oblivious to the fact a camcorder was filming them now that the screen had not become so blurry and the person behind it now had a grip on the hand strap. "Welcome readers to my first ever video blog!" An excited female voice rang out behind the camera. The picture twisted, the viewing world of the camera a swirling mess once more before balancing out to show a vision of pink. The woman behind the video camera, sadly, not knowing all they could see was the top of her pale pink hair instead of showing her blue eyed self waving at the lens. "Maybe I should learn how to use this thing first...

The screen statices out for a split second before they were teleported to a beach. The waves rolling up at sunset, the sounds of the seagulls calling as the wind brushed by tendrils of blonde hair sweeping in every now and then.

Static rushed across the screen once more, shots of someone walking, showing that they had no clue to the rolling camera. The camera slowly raised, showing the most spectacular cliff side view that over looked the vast ocean and pine forests but mostly, it oversaw a nice sized town. It's windows glimmering in the light of the setting of the sun.

"I don't know how this works. I am not one to do blogs or videos and I don't really know Abigail all that much but we are both a lover of cameras in one form or another so I agreed to help fill in.This time, I thought I would just show you a wonderful view and a town barely found on a map. It's like this place is its own little world out here......

This spot I'm on is called Chronos View Point. The legend says that people would come here with loved ones to make a moment last for the feeling of a lifetime and some even came to ask for miracles. The founder of the town below, loved this spot so much that they named the town Chronos View after it....I wonder if this place still hold the magic of the past if it ever had any at all. Sometimes I wish it did...what possibilities it might open?.. "
the soft voice spoke to the camera, one much different from the usual curious and bubbly female that handle the videos.

"Hello my readers...Today we are going to talk with the students at Ouranos Academy, the school for the specially gifted and the wealthy but you didn't hear that last part from me. I am going to question people on their opinion about one, Sarah Reed and how they feel about her disappearance. We are going to ask how they knew her and what she was like. I will also try to follow the investigation by watching the police but no leads have seemed to pop up yet."

Hmm let's see, oh miss! Miss?!"
A voice ran out as the video jiggled as the woman behind it ran to catch up with the other.
"I'm Abigail Connelly. Reporter and blogger of Chronos News Feed. I would love to hear your view on the recent..." She started, completely serious as the other girl cut her off.

"Did I say you could talk to me?! Don't you know who I am? Tiffany Blake does not talk to riffraff like you! Now get that stupid camera out of my face!" The brunette sassed, her green eyes glaring as she shoved her hand at the camera roughly before a thud sound was heard and the world was on its side. All you could see were the legs of Tiffany walking away and the frustrated growl from Abigail as she check over the camera that was still on. "That little b..."

The static filled the screen, cutting her off before the video came back. "Sorry about that everyone, why don't we get a more reliable opinion before going to complete strangers. My very own Savior, Nova! What you drawing?"

"Abigail, you know I don't like being on camera or even being behind one of those plus Savior is a bit too much."

"Abby remember? We are friends now after that video help and videos..pictures...all the same stuff but you didn't answer my question."

"If you must know, I am drawing a blue butterfly. Now, what did you really come over here to ask me?" Nova asked, finally looking up from her art and pushing some of her blonde hair back as her deep blue eyes looked to the others pale ones instead of the camera.

Abigail blinked, pushing up her glasses a bit before a smile lit back on her face before she asked seriously," What do you think and feel about the disappearance of Sarah Reed?"
"It is a tragedy. It is horrible that anyone would steal another being and threaten the safety that our town once held. I can only hope that she returns unharmed and that the person who did this to her pays for what they have done in one way or another. Excuse me but I must be leaving, class will start soon."

Abigail turned the camera away and moved on the the next person in sight,"Hello, my name is Abigail Connelly, reporter and blogger of the Chronos News Feed. I would love to hear your opinion on the disappearance of Sarah Reed? Do you think the police will find her?"

"We could have taken my car, you know."

A dull and obviously bored voice complained as the owner of said voice looked longingly out of the passenger side window.

"Your car is a dump, sir." A woman, who was almost a decade younger than the man, shook her head and continued to drive. Honestly, she didn't understand why he kept his old as dirt car anyway. With the paychecks they got, he could easily afford something new and top of the line.

The man sighed to himself. This was one of his low points throughout the day. Sometimes he'd be screaming and yelling like a psychopath, and others he'd rival the laziness of a sloth. He was a difficult man to work with, and honestly wondered how he was still an agent, but his most puzzling question was how high the agency had to have been to have thought that it was a good decision to give him a partner. Espeically one so young.

"But it gets the job done, dear Cassie." He chuckled to himself. As he sat there, the senior agent pulled out his phone and began to look at the information they had been given.

Cassie's eyes glanced towards the phone. "So what this time?" She asked him, her voice trickling with curiosity.

"Disappearance. This girl just up and left without a trace. Sarah..." The man squinted, looking close at the phone. "No last name. Even stranger."

Cassie nodded. It was a strange case indeed. Maybe they just forgot? From what they knew, the town was only so big, so looking for a woman named Sarah wouldn't be that hard. It was much better than having only a first name in a city. "Right, Cage. Anyway, we should be there soon."

"Ohhhhhh dude prepare to get PWND!" A ginger haired teen exclaimed as his fingers moved in quick motions over the handheld game he held in his hands. His thick glasses reflected the glow that emanated off the screen, almost completely hiding his emerald green eyes. "Come on come on come on! I only need to pull off this combo and..." He mumbled before his freckle covered face lit up in pure excitement. "OH YEAH!!" He exclaimed as he jumped up from his seat, throwing his hands up in victory. "Who's the Mortal Fighter champ?! I'm the Mortal Fighter champ!!" He nearly chanted as he did a little dance. This went on for a bit longer than it should of before the teen seemed to realize that he was indeed out in public and in the view of the majority of the school's public view. "Uhhhh.... got to go." He muttered half to himself as his face began to match the same shade of red as his hair. He quickly slipped the game he was just so invested in into his pocket then grabbed the bag that was sitting next to his feet, it was a simple satchel with the picture of a stereotypical alien head on it with the word BELIEVE written under it. After which he quickly made his way into the actual school building. The teen then dashed into the school's science room and let out a sigh of relief. "Sanctuary." He said half to himself. This less than smooth display was done by no other than Gene, the so called robo nerd on campus.

Izzy

Izzy was sitting atop a picnic table, watching all the other students come and go. She shook her head as she reached into her jacket pocket pulling out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. As she was fishing one out, a girl with a camera ran over to her asking about Sarah Reed's disappearance. She stared at her for a moment before raising the cigarette to her lips before leaned into the flame of her zippo. Inhaling the smoke deeply, she held it in her lungs for a long moment before blowing it out and into the camera. She smirked, stuffing her pack and lighter back into her pocket and stood.

Hopping down to the ground, she looked at the girl, "If the girl isn't rich, they won't give a shit."

She took another puff of her cigarette before she walked out of frame and away from the girl. She took her time walking, allowing her to burn about have of the cigarette before she put it out on the school's wall. She sighed, pulling her pack out again and tossing it in for later. She'd need a new pack soon and she didn't really have the money for that right now...

Pushing the school's doors open, she headed down the hall, not entire sure of where it was she was headed.

Cassie cherished nothing more than her 2016 ferrari f12 berlinetta. It was her pride and joy, and she spent several months worth of cash in order to pay for it. It was top of the line, outfitted for any situation, and in her mind, badass. In fact, she was still paying off for it for another two months, but her pay check would take care of that without a problem.

On their journey to Chronos View, Cassie pushed her car to the very limits every chance she had. It was nice the first few times for Nic, but his awe for her display of power quickly grew to be boring.

As they sped up again, Nic had created a string of words for his charge. "So what is it, Cass?" he asked her out of the blue.

The sudden question forced Cassie to slow down. She could not flex the muscles of her car while answering Nic's cryptic question.

"Huh?" She replied to him, obviously unable to grasp the question.

Nic smiled, his hand caressing the seat below him. "The car, the guns, every bell and whistle withing a ten foot radius is designed to compensate for something, so what is it?"

Cassie grunted, looking away and slowing down even more. "It's nothing, I just like nice stuff."

"But it has to fill something. It's pointless to have so much for absolutely no reason. There's always a reason."

The younger agent sighed in resignation, stopping the car fully and putting it in park.

"No time to answer your rediculous question." Cassie told him as she got out of her seat. "We're at Ouranos Acedemy."

Quill suddenly popped out of nowhere behind Abigail. "Don't let her get to you. Rich kids can be absolute assholes. If you want a real interview with a decent person than I have some free time." Quill stepped out in front of her and smiled. A real giddy smile that seemed almost too happy. "The name's Daven, but I'd much prefer Quill. So what do you want to ask me?"

Abigail jumped a bit at the new voice as she spun around, a hand to her heart before a smile lit on her face. "Yeah, it isn't the first time I have caught some real unpleasant people on camera today. I only got one that was worth anything and she was kind of distracted but was honestly to the point with an answer. If you are volunteering than I am sure not going to say no also it is nice to meet you Quill." She replied before repositioning the camera so that Quill was in the perfect angle. "My name is Abigail Connelly, please can you share your opinion on the disappearance of Sarah Reed? Any other thoughts about her you would like to add for our readers of the Chronos News Feed?"

Quill

"Well, since there are no signs anywhere in town of a struggle, it almost sounds like she may be a runaway. I've seen her around school, she always seemed happy but it's always the happiest looking ones that hide the most inside. I'm sure they will find her eventually if it was a kidnapping but if I'm right about the runaway thing then she won't ever be found. It's too hard to find someone around here if they don't want to be found. I just hope no one else disappears, now that would be a disaster."

Quill smiled and seemed to slightly glitch to the right, but maybe it was just the camera. He pulled two sodas out of his pockets and offered one to Abigail. "Want one?" He continued after she gave her answer, "Now if you don't mind being asked a couple questions, or one to be exact, who do you think did it?"

Eswin

Eswin walked around the campus of his old school, he typically hung around here and drew pictures of people in his notebook. Eswin is a mute and can't verbally communicate with people but feels that he can get anything he feels across with his pictures. Eswin sat at one of the outside tables and drew the scene in front of him. The smoker walking away, the blonde scowling in the back, and the interview between the reporter and the smiler. Everything looked the same as it did in real life but with some differences that revealed more about the people in the picture than the people may have even knew themselves.

Izzy

Isabella walked through the halls until she reached a set of large double doors and pushed her way through. Inside was an abundance of instruments that she could never dream of owning. The room was empty, just as Izzy liked it, as most students weren't allowed in beyond class hours. However, the music teacher had given her permission to come in and play whenever she wanted. It was, after all, half of the reason she got the scholarship for the school. Had you told her two years ago that she would be in a room with any instrument she wanted to play, she wouldn't believe you. She hardly believed the opportunities she received through the community centre's music program.

The community she grew up in was tough but there were a few in her life who had gone above and beyond to give her some light. Teaching her different instruments, spending hours with her for little pay. She was forever in dept to that community centre that she could be here...

She walked over to one of the largest instruments in the room, a harp. There had been one at the community centre that had drawn her in. She had learnt it quickly, faster than any other instrument despite the ease she seemed to learn them with. It was easily one of her favourites to play as well. She took a seat and carefully pulled the instrument to lean against her shoulder. She brushed her fingers along the strings slightly before she began to pluck at them.

She closed her eyes as the music began to fill the room around her.

Annie

Annie climbed out of her car and walked up the concrete path to the school. She had just gotten back from a trip to Europe that left her skin a beautiful tanned brown. Of course the sudden trip had caused her to fall behind in a few classes... but to be honest, she was already behind. She just now had an excuse for her parents. They had brought her along after all, so really this was their fault. As she got closer to the school, she spotted Tiffany and squealed, "Tiff!" She made her way over to her friend quickly and grinned, "Sooo, what did I miss? What's the latest news, gossip, dish, dirt. I want to know all!"

Abby

Abigail grinned, keeping the camera focused, letting Quill speak and loving that someone had come up with theories of their own other than just saying kidnapped as the police stated. Sarah was always happy though when she had seen her and her parents swore that their were no signs of her leaving which pointed in one direction but who knows. Everyone has their secrets after all. The new opinion though would only add to her video and get people to start thinking. She could honestly say that she didn't want another person to disappear, that was for sure.

A frown grew on her features as the camera seemed to have glitches out Quill's form for a second or that is all it could have been when he was now further to the right on the feed. "Oh man, maybe the chick did mess it up earlier! It hadn't glitched or looked damaged before but not this sets back my blog." Abigail said to herself with a pout.

She looked up from fiddling over her camera and laughed as she took the offered soda. "Do you always carry two sodas around in your pockets? Seems a little strange." She asked, putting her camera away before tapping on the top of the soda can and pointing it way from her just in case it fizzed since it had been carried in the others pockets as he walked or as far as she knew.
"Hmmm, that is a hard question to answer. I would most likely say male do to the fact that the victim was female. I would say that it could be a female attacker but they would have to be very strong to not show any signs of struggle or very good at covering their tracks. It would be hard to say age of the attacker because they would need to know Sarah's daily schedule and life. If they were a student they could do so but parents would cause conflict with that but some live in the dorm so there you go. It could also be someone outside the school with free time to watch and observe. It could be someone close that Sarah didn't want others to know about. It is really hard to say. There are too many possibilities with not enough facts."

Tiffany

Tiffany was still fuming of the audacity of some people when she heard a squeal of her nickname. She spun around, the anger dissipating quickly as she spotted one of her best friends and a smile lit up on her features."Oh my,Annie! It is wonderful to see you. You can't even imagine what I have had to deal with while you were away! You aren't going to believe this, you know Sarah Reed right? The student council sun shine smiler? Anyway, she has gone missing without a trace! I won't even get into the horror of Michelle's break up Tony. I swear I will never get the tears out of that sweater. Oh, and that little busy body, nose in everyone's business, reporter gal Abigail has really annoyed my last nerve! Can you believe she spoke to me and put a camera in my face? I mean she talked to me like she had permission or something. She better watch herself from now on. I am sick of her shit and it ends today if I have anything to say about it."

Nova

Nova had left quickly after she excused herself, heading to the bathroom and gripping hold of the porcelain sink. She felt like she was going to be sick after being asked about Sarah. It wasn't Abigail's fault but it brought up memories from her past she wished to forget and the new ones that were paining her lately.Sarah was one of the only friends she had managed to make at this school since her arrival. It had been resent but they had gotten really close. It wasn't like Sarah to run away. She knew something had to have happened plus Sarah was smart and would have taken thing from her home. There was no way she would just run away with no clothes and not even take her money stash or even sentimental objects.

She closed her eyes, resting her head against the mirror and taking slow deep breaths. Images flashed in her mind, feelings and emotions mixed in with the memories causing her to over her mouth as she bolted into the stall, slamming the door open and only having enough time to pull her long locks out of the way before chucking what was left of her breakfast. She groaned, flushing the toilet and stood up straight once more to make her way back to the sink. Nova placed her hand on the silver knob, turning it on the only sound in the bathroom was rushing water.

She could only hope that things didn't turn out...no she needed to not think that way. Sarah would be okay. She had too...and with that thought she cupped her hands under the faucet, drinking the water and slushing it around in her mouth before spitting it out. A soft sigh escaped her, the sound of rushing water stopping with the squeak of the knob before she grabbed her stuff and went to go pick a spot away from everyone.

What they had seen and heard was interesting. Without talking to anyone, some news girl had already given them so much information about their case. It seemed that they wouldn't be the only one on this, but they had to keep the news flow at a minimum to keep from scaring and alerting people.

Carrie put on a pair of aviator sunglasses and sauntered up to the the young reporter. Cage had intended on stopping her and making the strategy of approach low key, but decided against it the moment she pulled out her badge.

"Carrie Abrams, federal agent." She spoke to the pink haired girl. "I'm going to need to pull you aside for a few questions."

Quill

"Yeah doesn't everybody keep two sodas on them just in case they need to share with someone?" Things seemed to be going well between the two before some old chick walked up and started cramping on his style. Great, what does she want? Then she whipped out her badge, Are you fucking kidding me, just when this girl was warming up to me!

"That badge looks fake to me." Quill said before suddenly holding the badge in his hands. "I've never heard of this agency before. Are you sure you really want to talk to these guys? They may be the kidnappers." Quill handed the badge back and then walked behind Abigail. He watched to see what this "agent chick" wanted.

Marshall

Marshall walked up to Tiffany and Annie with his baseball bat. He couldn't help but overhear that someone had been messing with Tiff. "Hey, there's my two babes. People giving you trouble? Do I get to use my bat?" He wrapped his arms around the two girls while laughing. "I don't mind cracking a few skulls. My record couldn't get any worse, you know? Marshall looked at Tiff and smiled. "Anything for my girls."

Abigail

Abigail frowned at suddenly being interrupted from her conversation even if it was a so called federal agent. This person was a stranger in their town and they were just going to start off demanding things of people. Had they even talked with the police yet and if they had then they should have realized that this would further upset their help plus the old saying 'You can catch flies better with honey than with vinegar' seemed to apply very well for this moment."Anything you need to say, you can ask it right here to your hearts content but just so you know, I don't have to answer anything if I so choose. I am done dealing with rude people today plus I usually like asking the questions so what is it that you want?, she asked, taking a small step backward so that she was closer to Quill. She may not know him but at least he was nice unlike the feeling the person in front of her gave. Quill was right...she didn't know who could have kidnapped Sarah if she actually was kidnapped. It made sense that it could be someone from the police or any form of law, someone that knew they could cover tracks and that was the many logical conclusion she had come to if the kidnapper was indeed a woman.

Tiffany

"Marshall!",Tiff squealed happily, glad to see her bud around."Thankfully, I think I can handle this little problem on my own though a bat is a nice thought. Maybe I will call upon your skills later if the problem persists.", she replied, laughing as he swung his arms around the two of them. She always knew she could count on Marshall and Annie for anything just like they could rely on her.

Carrie huffed, but said nothing in retaliation. As Nic would most likely tell her, it would be a bad idea to pull people away from others since it'd look like she was the kidnapper or even murderer. That certainly wouldn't end well, even with the local officials. She was already drawing more attention than she would have liked, and was irked by the kid that said her badge looked fake. She didn't do so much work to get into a fake or even mediocre agency! She'd shoot for only the best!

"I'm here to ask you about the killer." She stated flatly before pointed to Nic, who had been slowly making his way over while taking in the scene. "My partner and I already have the file your police gave us, but you seem to know a bit more than we do about this. What kind of woman was Miss Reed? Any idea where she could have gone before her disappearance?" She had assumed that the pink haired girl knew about Sarah on some level, hopefully well enough to give her and Nic some insight.

Abigail

Abigail raised an eyebrow at her, not really seeing how she would know more than the police or their files. Sure, her father was the Chief of Police and this was one of the biggest cases this town ever had. It wasn't like she didn't see his personal board of facts so she had made some logical deductions of her own based off them but she didn't think it was all that much more than the files would have had. Either way, what she was asking for was really all that big so she decided to would be best to just answer."Sarah was the kind of girl that everyone just liked. She was part of the student council, heck, she practically ran it and she always had some kind of smile or looked on the bright side of things. A hard worker and dedicated but that is only a guess based on the testing scores the school does or posts. As far as I know, it seems she had a job and did some volunteer work. My guess, either she was at the bus stop to run away and this isn't a kidnapping or maybe she was on her way home from her job. Honestly, if it was someone close to her...or someone we don't even know about than I have no idea. She has no trace of being found so far and no evidence to support anything new has shown up yet." she answered honestly before giving a light shrug.

Nova

Nova only knew of a few places that would be quiet and away from others at the school. The music room was her best chance even though she technically wasn't suppose to be in there or allowed since her scholarship had nothing to do with music and therefore she really didn't know the teacher on top of the big fact that she usually was breaking in to find some peace. Sure, it was against the rules but it wasn't like she was harming anyone or anything. In fact, she loved music and could play a bit herself and would never dream of touching any of the instruments that were stored there. The locks were easy to pick which caused no damage to the school though it wouldn't have mattered anyway since the place could more than afford it.

If she hadn't of been so flustered about Abigail's earlier questions, she might have heard the harp music playing from outside the classroom and she might have noticed that she indeed had not needed to pick the lock. Sadly, these two things had completely escaped her as she pushed open the door only to be met with no an empty room but with another student who most likely was actually suppose to be there. She felt like a jitter of nerves, frustrated at not being able to be alone and nervous about the fact that she had been caught going somewhere she didn't belong. "Sorry, I didn't realize that I had the wrong classroom. Didn't mean to disturb you...", Nova stated awkwardly.

Love this story
