It watched from the shadows, stalking those that wandered the streets without any worry. It waited in silence for the perfect moment, before a young girl sat on a bench without anyone nearby. It wandered over to the bench and sat beside the girl, not saying a word.
"Oh, umm....Hi."
The girl said to try and break the silence. She had seen this person around town but they always seemed to avoid people except for a few people.
Suddenly It stood up and walked away, leaving an eerie atmosphere in the air. The girl tried to leave but couldn't move, something had grabbed on to her. Before any noise could be made, she was gone. No trace of her was left, not a single sign that she was even here in the first place.
Then, the lights came on revealing a lab with tons of chemicals and machinery. The girl was strapped to a table and could see It walking around the lab.
"What's going on? What are you going to do to me?"
Nothing. Only silence as It started at her, weird pieces of equipment in Its hands.
"Let me go! You can't keep me here! Say Something!"
More nothingness. No response on any terms. Then the room went black, the only thing that remained were screams and the scent of blood.
The world seemed like a blur, everything unfocused spinning as if you couldn't see what you were looking at. The trees, the grass, the sky all swirling making it so you couldn't tell where one began as the other one ended. Suddenly, all was still...the only thing to be noticed was a brown blur in the distance, nothing else drawing attention but it as detail started to slowly sink into the picture until everything was clear.
The large brick campus came into view, everyone going about their day completely oblivious to the fact a camcorder was filming them now that the screen had not become so blurry and the person behind it now had a grip on the hand strap. "Welcome readers to my first ever video blog!" An excited female voice rang out behind the camera. The picture twisted, the viewing world of the camera a swirling mess once more before balancing out to show a vision of pink. The woman behind the video camera, sadly, not knowing all they could see was the top of her pale pink hair instead of showing her blue eyed self waving at the lens. "Maybe I should learn how to use this thing first...
The screen statices out for a split second before they were teleported to a beach. The waves rolling up at sunset, the sounds of the seagulls calling as the wind brushed by tendrils of blonde hair sweeping in every now and then.
Static rushed across the screen once more, shots of someone walking, showing that they had no clue to the rolling camera. The camera slowly raised, showing the most spectacular cliff side view that over looked the vast ocean and pine forests but mostly, it oversaw a nice sized town. It's windows glimmering in the light of the setting of the sun.
"I don't know how this works. I am not one to do blogs or videos and I don't really know Abigail all that much but we are both a lover of cameras in one form or another so I agreed to help fill in.This time, I thought I would just show you a wonderful view and a town barely found on a map. It's like this place is its own little world out here......
This spot I'm on is called Chronos View Point. The legend says that people would come here with loved ones to make a moment last for the feeling of a lifetime and some even came to ask for miracles. The founder of the town below, loved this spot so much that they named the town Chronos View after it....I wonder if this place still hold the magic of the past if it ever had any at all. Sometimes I wish it did...what possibilities it might open?.. " the soft voice spoke to the camera, one much different from the usual curious and bubbly female that handle the videos.
"Hello my readers...Today we are going to talk with the students at Ouranos Academy, the school for the specially gifted and the wealthy but you didn't hear that last part from me. I am going to question people on their opinion about one, Sarah Reed and how they feel about her disappearance. We are going to ask how they knew her and what she was like. I will also try to follow the investigation by watching the police but no leads have seemed to pop up yet."
Hmm let's see, oh miss! Miss?!" A voice ran out as the video jiggled as the woman behind it ran to catch up with the other.
"I'm Abigail Connelly. Reporter and blogger of Chronos News Feed. I would love to hear your view on the recent..." She started, completely serious as the other girl cut her off.
"Did I say you could talk to me?! Don't you know who I am? Tiffany Blake does not talk to riffraff like you! Now get that stupid camera out of my face!" The brunette sassed, her green eyes glaring as she shoved her hand at the camera roughly before a thud sound was heard and the world was on its side. All you could see were the legs of Tiffany walking away and the frustrated growl from Abigail as she check over the camera that was still on. "That little b..."
The static filled the screen, cutting her off before the video came back. "Sorry about that everyone, why don't we get a more reliable opinion before going to complete strangers. My very own Savior, Nova! What you drawing?"
"Abigail, you know I don't like being on camera or even being behind one of those plus Savior is a bit too much."
"Abby remember? We are friends now after that video help and videos..pictures...all the same stuff but you didn't answer my question."
"If you must know, I am drawing a blue butterfly. Now, what did you really come over here to ask me?" Nova asked, finally looking up from her art and pushing some of her blonde hair back as her deep blue eyes looked to the others pale ones instead of the camera.
Abigail blinked, pushing up her glasses a bit before a smile lit back on her face before she asked seriously," What do you think and feel about the disappearance of Sarah Reed?"
"It is a tragedy. It is horrible that anyone would steal another being and threaten the safety that our town once held. I can only hope that she returns unharmed and that the person who did this to her pays for what they have done in one way or another. Excuse me but I must be leaving, class will start soon."
Abigail turned the camera away and moved on the the next person in sight,"Hello, my name is Abigail Connelly, reporter and blogger of the Chronos News Feed. I would love to hear your opinion on the disappearance of Sarah Reed? Do you think the police will find her?"
