Tell us all about your dream characters -- the ones you desperately want to play but can't find the right RP for.

I don't really keep any. I make what I can derive from an RP's subject matter. If I can't do anything with it, or if I'm running something similar in another: I don't do it.

I don't try to shoehorn in a single character into every setting possible to see if it sticks. That's not very flexible.

I have pretty much a whole universe I dreamed up in another roleplaying environment that I haven't gotten to use much here yet. I draw my characters pretty much from pieces of that.

I think we all have potential future-characters.

But I do need to stop jacking off and post. I did start one with Tsun. But I also gotta another RP to write for too.

We've got a few characters we might find reusable, but they demand very specific settings. Considering how we generally build characters for each RP, that comes as no surprise.

At least one requires a single RP to be relaunched. Probably because it would be ridiculously overpowered in any other.

I want to be a full on Chicken, an Invincible chicken that no one can touch! I have found no rp though where I can play as just a chicken though.

I've got a character who's sole purpose is to kill Mary Sues. I've never found the right place to use him.

Oh my goodness, I have been trying to get into a good/active RP for over a month now because I really want to play my two knucklehead auto mechanics. They are both really immature, sarcastic, and take friendly jibing to the extreme. They're complete idiots and I love them, but alas, I cannot find somewhere decent to let them roam free. ;_;

I want to play as a lich; the classic robe-wearing magical skeleton/undead with powers that may or may not be related to necromancy. However, no fantasy RP I've seen allows undead characters, which is a shame.

I have a few characters i would like to play more of. My Assassin, my hacker, my mechanic, The one male character I've done well, My sadist, My psychopath, and the one character who nothing goes right for.

But it seems there are no rps around that stay. Oh well.

Each of them has a personality that stays the same, and a picture, everything else may or may not shift.

I've consistently used the same character for the majority of my Rps. Her personality and appearance are the only thing that stays the same, though.
She's existed as a Cyberpunk cop, a Victorian nanny-turned mage, D&D mage, mercenary, fantasy mercenary, star trek-esque medic, etc.

In each iteration, I've adapted her slightly and added a bit more or altered her mythos slightly. There was a long streak of her being a musician, yet since it was so inconsequential on the RPs I played, I dropped it. She's often been a medic or another 'healing' role, which I have also been moving away from. If there are guns, she'll most likely have an uzi, and if there's magic, it's likely that she's a pyromancer. But of course, I change what is needed for the game.

So it's less like me shoe-horning a single character into every single game, it's more like infinite alternate realities of the same woman.
Maybe I'll have a crossover RP that I host, where everyone plays as an iteration of her, and they gang up and take down the big bad, who is a lazy RPer who likes to play as what he knows.

At the moment my Tokyo Ghoul character as I do like the design and characteristics, but the rp that she was entered into moved way too fast for my liking so I pulled out.

At the moment I'm looking for a good supernatural, dark style of rp for the character that is in my head. Haven't found the right rp yet but hopefully soon I will. Like what @Ariamis said, an rp with undead, not zombies, can be hard to come by.

Okay, I have this one character in this Skype Roleplay I did. He was basically a tragic "reflection duality" (able to reflect any magical attacks and copy any muscle memory) esper I had, but the Roleplay he was in is now dead. We've tried relaunching it about twice now and to no avail. Aaaah, I miss this character.

On a side note, in my current Skype RP, they have a multi-verse arc coming up and that's one of the worlds they'll be in, so I'll get to use him for a bit!

I'd really love to find a RP for Grashna, my half-orc who's a sheriff in an originally pretty lawless border frontier town in a fantasy-style Old West that's been over-run with undead. I don't suppose anyone's interested in running a fantasy/western/horror crossover RP...?

I'd love to play a character who is so both social and stubborn (and probably dense) that they would keep pestering the typical 'my character is shy and therefore I won't be active and will just wait for you to come to me' types, without being ooc and until it stops being funny.

A drug addicted, hairy and balding Abkhazian on a quest to shoot and bludgeon people for money desperately needed to cure his AIDS-afflicted transvestite 'girlfriend' and himself, and to avenge the loss of half his ballsack by using the remaining money to wage a war on the Chechnyan mafia.

A sarcastic, witty, gaming nerd on a 10+ year odyssey in order to prove true love and happy endings do truly exist in this world.

Personally I love playing dragon-likes but it always seems hard to find rps accepting of the more monstrous races (non-humanoids especially). I have a particular small dream eating wyvern that I adore that regurgitates said dreams as illusions, but he never fits into even the ones that do allow dragony things.

Also I have an amphibious dragon race I came up with a long time ago that I never really got to use. :\

Plus, if I could ever fit some sort of zerg like thing into an RP that'd be awesome.

Hmm, well there are a lot of "types" that I've never got the chance to write for. One that instantly comes to mind is a well-rounded, patient, suave gentleman. This kind of character I find would be perfect for some kind of fantasy-type of rp, be it something futuristic like Final Fantasy or more medieval like Game of Thrones. The problem is merely finding the right rp to make such a character for. I always have this character on hand for when I finally find such a rp.
