So I've been away for a couple of years and honed some of my role playing ability with a Pathfinder tabletop group. To be honest, I've missed this place. I think it's time to try and get back into it. That said, 1x1's was my favorite experience here. I enjoyed the conversation and planning with my partner and got to avoid the hectic style of trying to keep up with five other people posting multiple times an hour.
I currently work 12+ hours a day during the week. While I may be able to type up a quick post on the three days I work, most of my posting will be done Fri-Mon EST at least 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening if there was a response. If this doesn't work for you, then sorry but that's the honest expectation from my experience.
If I still have your attention: I really just look for a good story so if you have something you've been craving, don't hesitate to run it by me. My only real thing is I don't like RPs based solely on Slice of Life because modern settings bore me. Obviously, from the title, my current craving is a fantasy "Dungeons & Dragons" or Tolkien style setting with the possible pairing of a daughter and father figure. I've always liked that kind of pairing, but not a requirement.
My rules are pretty standard otherwise. Mature writers, try to check in at least daily and post at least every other day. I avoid smut, but will do romance, violence, and other mature themes when appropriate. I have this tagged as Advanced because of the amount of focus I like to put into the lore of the world. Building the world around us with my partner is my favorite aspect of 1x1. My writing level is more High Casual, decent detail and minimum of 2 or 3 full paragraphs and usually upwards of 5+ if I have the time and content.
EDIT: Due to my schedule and trying to be reasonable with keeping up, I'm just looking for one more partner. I prefer players to play their own gender so I'm looking for female and 18+ as mature themes will be likely. Below are my current interests for games so if any interest you just send a PM with your favorite fantasy race in the subject so I know you read this and above.

Dethroned Princess / *Loyal Protector
*Soldier / Adopted Daughter - During a brutal war against mages and the arcane arts, an efficient soldier is struck with a moment of conscience when brought forward to kill a little girl. Unable to do so, he instead escapes with her and takes to life on the run. Years after the war, they have grown as a family, but secrets haunt the pair as the war prepares to sweep them back up.
Monster Hunters - An ancient land known for heroes and the monsters they slayed, and these two were considered some of the best in the Hunter Guild. Fame doesn't go unnoticed and jealousy tends to lurk in its shadow. Blades in the dark won't be the only concern for these Hunters as they stumble upon evil that has slept for too long and is hungry.
Rival Nobles - Politics in Aldrina are vicious. Armies, land, and influence provide strength and only the strong survive. The young, but ambitious House X learns this lesson the hard way. Decade old rival, House Y, has felt threatened by the rise of power and moved to eliminate House X. The youngest son of House X escapes and flees to the Wildlands, a dangerous and uncharted land of monsters and savages. Fearing this boy could mean trouble, the skilled daughter of House Y is sent to track him down and bring him back. They'll need to help each other if either hopes to see home again.
Assassin Duo - The best in the business and the country's most wanted makes you a lot of enemies. For this deadly pair of friends, it's the only way to live life. A life of infamy doesn't pay out when an ambitious noble uses their reputation to frame them for a murder even they wouldn't sign up for. Now with the whole country looking for them, a web of shadows is spun and a race to find the ones behind the scandal before the law finds them begins, but who can they trust? Can they even trust each other?
