@nitemare shape Now I have read through the "Cast an RPG" thread on Hype.
Yeah, some of mine have changed over time, others have stayed the same. And if you look at the dates, I officially put it down in those threads that Henry was my Scott long before he was cast as Supes
And since the pic you chose of my pick to play Lyger makes him look scrawny, I figured I'd add these...
Sorry about that...
For some strange reason, I always imagined Kerri Walters being a brunette. I don't know why. At least I have a face to associate with her. I did not realize that the blonde cheerleader on Glee was also the second alpha female cheerleader on Heroes (the one in Brentwood, if I recall correctly). Weird.

If I had to cast Polemos, I'd probably go with Leonard Roberts. Just needs to buff up a little, and he'd be perfect. I think he could pull off the whole "I have a demon controlling my mind and body" thing pretty well.
Arachne: "Why are you getting me involved?" *Raises her hand to 'NCIS' slap Dedonus, but remembers Nitemare Shape's comment about her slapping Dedonus* "Perverts."
Character Personality: Charlotte often acts on impulse based on what she deems "right". If someone needs help, she'll help them; if someone wrongs her, she'll get back at them. With the loss of her father, Charlotte rarely finds herself happy. This isn't quite a state of depression, so much as it is just a lack of general happiness.
Uniform/costume: She keeps her father's police uniform, but of course does not wear it. Instead, she generally opts for regular civilian clothing; spandex and skin-tight costumes are a bit too weird for her. If she needs to go out and do anything "super-heroic", she'll try and hide her face with a gray hoodie, but nothing out of the ordinary will mask her appearance.
In terms of physical appearance, she is a 22-year old woman of average height and weight. Her skin is a pale white, and her hair is both extremely blond and extremely frizzy.
Origin Info/Details: Charlotte Gilligan was born in Kussatawnee, New Hampshire, to a loving couple. Complications after the birth lead to her mother's unfortunate death, but Charlotte's father, Phillip, managed to take care of his daughter on his own without much issue. As a police officer, Phillip would always bring his daughter to the department; several years of this managed to instill Charlotte with a desire to join the police force herself, at least when she was old enough. She even managed to get one of her father's coworker's, Officer Felicia Tenmont, to give her basic training when it came to fighting and disarming an opponent. This eagerness to become an officer would not last, unfortunately.
Throughout the years, Charlotte and her father never discovered a secret ability that she had. This power of hers--the power to transform photons into solid light--went unnoticed for years. It's quite possible that she may never have discovered this ability at all, if not for the fact that another tragedy was to befall upon her once again.
One day, while Charlotte was at school, her father was tasked with guard duty at the city's local bank. Things were going fine for the most part, until all of a sudden an explosion went off. The bank and its clients soon found themselves under attack by a small, local gang known as "the Karks". During the heist, Charlotte's father was killed by the leader of the gang, Donnie Twain. All of the gang members escaped unharmed with roughly $100,000 from the bank, leaving the townspeople robbed of their money and Charlotte robbed of her father, the only family member she had ever known.
The very night she saw her father's dead body was the same night she discovered her power. The shock of seeing someone so close to her as nothing more than a lifeless corpse drove her into a state of despair. This mindset somehow managed to click together with her ability, producing a ragged shard of solid light before her. Once she learned she could create such things, her heart still aching and her mind still focused on her father, she came to a realization: she could use this strange, newfound ability to do wonderful things. She could use this ability to fight criminals better than her father ever could have...and she could use this ability to bring the Karks to justice.
With this in mind, she began to hone her ability, all the while testing it's effects and extents. Once, she had desired to join the police force; but with her newfound powers, she opted instead to go solo, and bring the Karks to justice without the help of a police force that couldn't even protect her father.
It didn't take her long to find the Kark's hideout. She managed to disguise herself as a runaway criminal, and convinced the gang to let her join their ranks. Being a small gang, she didn't need to worry about them having backup of any kind; instead, she just waited for the perfect opportunity for them to grow comfortable around her. Once they did, she attacked without hesitation and killed them without remorse.
However, once they were dead, Charlotte found herself...unfulfilled. The bloodlust was settled, but she did not find herself at peace as she expected to be. What was worse, she couldn't rid her thoughts of her father, and what might have been if he had not been killed on that fateful day. Everywhere she went, she found herself constantly reminded of him and the Karks. It got to the point where she could no longer step outside without becoming overwhelmed with despair and remorse. It didn't take her long to decide on just moving out of Kussatawnee altogether; she chose to head away from that town, the town that haunted her heart and memory.
So off she went. Away from her troubles was a plethora of towns and cities, and of all of them, she chose to go to Lost Haven....
Hero Type: Energy (Light/Photons)
Power Level: Street Level
Power(s): Charlotte has the ability to concentrate on the photons surrounding her, turning them into a physical mass of solid light. These masses of solid light can be controlled by her mind if she so desires. She can construct anything she puts her mind to, but specific tiny details are extremely hard to create. What's more, she is limited in that if she grows too exhausted for any reason, or if she grows weak from any oncoming attacks, she will slowly grow less capable of solidifying light to the point where she cannot do it anymore until she recovers. The solid light constructs are also not invulnerable, and can be shattered with enough force. The shattered light particles will act like regular glass.
Put simply, Charlotte can solidify light to create whatever she wants. She can control these things, but simple details are hard to make, the constructs can be broken, and if she grows too tired she won't be able to make any more until she recovers.
ATTRIBUTES:
Strength Level: Normal Human
Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Normal Human
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Normal Human
Agility: Normal Human
Intelligence: Average
Fighting Skill: Trained
Resources: Average
Weaknesses: She has the frailty of any other human being, for one thing. As for her powers, she still retains all the downsides listed under Powers (solid light can shatter, no solidifying if she's tired, details are hard).
Supporting Characters:
* Officer Phillip Gilligan - Charlotte's father. He was killed in action by the gangsters while he was on duty.
* Officer Felicia Tenmont - Charlotte's former partner in the police force. She is the only person Charlotte has told about her powers, aside from her father.
* Donnie Twain - Leader of the Karks Gang. Killed Charlotte's father during a bank heist; killed in turn by Charlotte.
* T - Last living member of the Karks Gang. Munitions and equipment expert. First member of the Karks she attacked.
The silence from the other end of the phone was irksome. Charlotte only wanted to be out of town by now, but she knew that she couldn't just leave without letting someone know that she was gone, much less could she leave without telling the only person who knew her secret. Still, that didn't make the silence on the other end of the phone any less uncomfortable.
What would she say? Would Felicia sit and ask questions all day long about *why* she wanted to leave town? Or would she break into tears, begging her not to leave? These thoughts crept at the back of Charlotte's mind, and the silence from the phone didn't help at all.
"Where are you going?"
Oh God.
"I'm going north, to a small town in Maine. It's called Lost Haven," replied Charlotte, preparing for the worst.
"Is there something up there that's demanding you to go?"
Yeah, she was definitely about to overreact....
"...nothing in particular, no," Charlotte hesitated.
"...okay then."
Now it was Charlotte's turn to be silent. No questions? No crying? No begging? She had expected more of a reaction from Felicia. But then again, Felicia was a hardened police officer. She had probably grown used to people coming and going from her life, and the child of a former coworker was likely not the biggest loss she'd experience.
"Uh, yeah. I'm just calling to let you know that, eh, I'll be gone for a while. You're not upset or anything, are you?" Charlotte said, taking care to make sure she hadn't hurt Felicia by her sudden announcement.
"No, honey, it's fine!" came Felicia's voice over the phone; Charlotte could practically see the officer's reassuring smile etched across her face. "Look, we all need to get out of town now and then. Plus, I would think that you'd need a place to clear your head, what with the Karks finally going down after all these years."
Charlotte's gut twisted, not just with disgust but with the faintest twinge of guilt.
"Well...I know I won't be around for whenever you find the person who...you know...did them in..." she said, looking to the floor as she spoke. Her words became lost as her mind trailed off to the thought of them, beaten, shot, and stabbed.
"Oh, don't worry, Charlotte! When we find the man who did it, I promise I'll thank them for you. Alright?" Felicia responded again, still with that reassuring tone.
"Yeah. Thanks," said Charlotte, still feeling a tad bit guilty. On an impulse, she ended the call right then and there; she didn't want to continue with that particular subject, lest Felicia start asking questions about their deaths.
And so the call was done. Now there was nothing left to keep Charlotte in the godforsaken town of Kussatawnee. The sooner she could leave everything in that town behind, the better.

Character you have created: T
Alias: T
Speech Color: Brown
Character Alignment: Villain
Identity: Known
Character Personality: When not driven to do something, he will usually keep to himself. He has no qualms about conversing with someone he doesn't like, but if it's someone he doesn't trust, that's a whole different matter, especially when that mistrust is about his own safety. T is dedicated to his causes, whatever they may be. If he is your ally, you can be safely assured that he has your back. He does, however, have a general mistrust of others due to his childhood, and isn't exactly a "normal person" in mindset.
Uniform/costume: T adorns a suit of black-and-red body armour that is bulky and protective, yet open enough to move around in swiftly. Physically, he is a tall brutish man with white skin. His hair is dark brown and parted on the right side. The left side of his face is scarred and torn from an attack against him using his own munitions by Charlotte during her revenge attack against the Karks gang. His left eye had to be replaced with a black glass eye, and the rest of the left side of his face is reddish-pink with irritation. The upper-left side of his lip is slightly torn, exposing some of his teeth. There are also visible indentations where you can see his skull and jaw on the scarred side of his face. He has no hair on the side of his head that has the scarring, and thus his hair is a strange case where it parts on the right but does not completely reach over to the left side.
Origin Info/Details: "T" doesn't like to speak about his childhood. Don't ask about his parents, he doesn't remember them; don't ask about his foster parents, he hated them; don't ask about the people he grew up with, they hated him.
The best starting point is the moment that Donnie Twain and his gang found a boy no older than twelve. This boy was hardened by years of fighting for food, seeking shelter in an uncaring world, and just overall surviving. When Donnie asked for his name, the boy replied "T"; all other questions about his name were ignored.
Regardless, Donnie chose to let the boy stay with the gang. They were all young, after all, and the more members the better. It was here than T finally managed to live without worry of finding food or shelter; it was here that people treated him as a brother, not a criminal or a freak.
Life in the gang lasted for a few years, and to T, it was wonderful. Over the years, as the gang stole more equipment and money, T began to discover an innate talent for building and maintaining equipment and munitions. It was this discovery that lead him to work on a personal project: the creation of a suit of armour, capable of beating even the baddest cops in town. Eventually, the suit was finally built as a prototype, to be tested in a few days' time.
The completion of the prototype suit was the same fateful day when Donnie let a new girl into the gang. At first, she seemed to be as much of a misfit as the rest of them; however, this proved to be untrue as she attacked the group the first chance she got; it turned out that the girl was the daughter of a cop that Donnie had killed some years ago.
She attacked T first, when the two of them were alone. She detonated a barrel of explosive material right beside him, scarring his face and knocking him out. The resulting fire began to spread from the building they were in to the one with the other gangsters, where she killed them all. However, what the girl didn't realize was that T is very difficult to kill....
Hero Type: Other (Technology)
Power Level: City Level
Power(s): T has a suit of armor retains three different abilities. At his wrists are two small flamethrowers that, when boosted to the maximum output, can propel T in whatever direction he needs to go. The wrists also contain two separate grappling hooks he can use to either grab objects or swing across city-scapes. The third and final ability is a modified version of Charlotte Gilligan's power: solidifying light. This, however, has been reduced to just a sky-blue spherical shield that surrounds T when activated. It can be extended to the full sphere, or just reduced to small patches.
While not a superpower, T has become resistant to physical pain over the years, and will not let it stop him in a fight.
ATTRIBUTES:
Strength Level: Normal Human
Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Normal Human
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 2 Hours
Agility: 10X (when using Flamethrowers)
Intelligence: Genius (When it comes to munitions and equipment)
Fighting Skill: Trained
Resources: Average
Weaknesses: His flamethrowers can overheat if he uses them for too long. Not only that, but as wrist-attached flamethrowers, their reach is reduced to about 4 yards in front of T. T's spherical light shield, like the natural ability it is based off of, can be broken with enough force. Not only that, but if used for too long, it will "pop" and disappear, as the suit cannot power the sphere for too long.
Supporting Characters:
* Donnie Twain - Leader of the Karks. Killed by Charlotte during her revenge spree.
* Jagg - Member of the Karks. Played with knives a lot, before Charlotte killed her.
* Johnny Smith - Member of the Karks. Vehicle expert, before being killed by Charlotte.
* Felix Danson - Member of the Karks. Killed by Charlotte during her revenge spree.
* Charlotte Gilligan - Daughter of a police officer Donnie killed. She went on a revenge spree and killed the Karks, save for T (whom she believes dead).
Do you know how to post pictures on RPG boards?:
Night had fallen in the town of Kussatawnee, New Hampshire. People were heading home to rest, stores were closing, and overall there was a general air of peace. One store in particular remained open, however: a small gas station at the edge of the city. The owner had long ago discovered that, oddly, more customers arrived at night than at day; and so the store stayed open.
The owner himself was busy cleaning out the shelves behind the cash register when two people entered. He made little note of them, for he'd seen tons of people come in and out of the store for years now. All that mattered to him right now was a particularly nasty moss that seemed to be forming at the corner of the bottom shelf....
"Excuse me sir? Can I ask you something?" came a voice from the other side of the counter. It was a woman's voice, probably from one of the two people that had just entered.
"Yes, how can I help you?" asked the owner, standing up to face the woman.
The first thing he saw wasn't the woman, but the tip of the knife she was pointing at him with. It was a bit large for a regular knife, and there seemed to be what looked like rust at the end of it. There was in fact a woman holding the knife, but there was also a man with her. The woman was scrawny and looked no older than 18, but the man...well, he was huge! He was even scarier-looking than the knife being pointed at him!
"My friend and I were wondering if we could have all the cash in that register of yours," said the woman, grinning at her own maliciousness.
It took the owner a second to register what was happening. When he did, he jumped back and snatched a rifle off the wall and pointed it straight at the woman.
"Get the hell out of my store or I'll shoot the two of you here and now!" he demanded.
"When was the last time you took that rifle off of the wall?" asked the man. His voice, though slightly ragged, was relatively calm, despite the gun being pointed at him.
The owner looked at the man in disbelief. How was he so calm with a rifle pointed at his partner in crime?
Despite the lack of a reply, the man continued: "It's gonna jam."
"Don't make me pull the trigger!" the owner yelled, now aiming the gun on the man.
A moment passed where nobody moved. Then, the owner decided he'd had enough, and pulled the trigger.
Click.
"Told you so," said the man, as the woman grabbed the tip of her knife and threw it forward at the owner's head.
------------------------------------------
"$231, T! That's more than twice we got from the last run!" said Jagg, cleaning the fresh blood off of her knife.
"You know, when I said 'told you so', I was talking to you, not the owner," said T, ignoring his friend's excitement over the money.
"Alright, fine, so you win the bet," said Jagg, rolling her eyes. "So what? At least I got the money to pay you now!"
T remained silent.
"So, are you gonna tell me how you figured it out, genius?" Jagg asked, still cleaning her knife.
"You mean how I knew the gun was gonna jam?" T said.
"Nah, how you learned the power of friendship! Of course I mean the gun!" Jagg replied, making no effort to hide her sarcasm.
"Guess."
"Okay, was it something only a mastermind could figure out? Did you just look at it and see that he hadn't cleaned it, or some crap like that?" she asked.
"No."
"Then how'd you figure it out?"
"There was a cobweb on the butt of the rifle."
Jagg gave him a deadpan glance, and kept walking.
Eventually, the two of them reached the van where their driver, Johnny Smith, was waiting.
"Took you guys long enough to get back," said Smith, turning on the van as soon as they opened the door.
"Well, we ain't exactly in a hurry, Johnny-boy," Jagg retorted, hopping into the back seat.
"Actually, we kinda have somewhere to be," snapped Smith, clearly irritated. "Donnie needs us back home. Apparently, we're gonna pull of something big tomorrow, and he wants to walk us through it all."
"Something big? Like what?" asked T as he buckled his seatbelt.
"You know the bank downtown? We're pullin' a heist!" Smith said, with a hint of excitement.
"Really now? Well then, nevermind me, let's get back home as soon as we can!" said Jagg, equally excited.
And with that, the van pulled away from the store.
@Byrd Man Man. I love Roosevelt. Just an awesome President. And an even better Hero apparently. You know if Roosevelt ever needed to borrow Excalibur I would have no problem with that. Don't know what Eva would think.
Eva. "Roosevelt who? Ain't heard of him. But no way is anyone 'borrowing' Excalibur."
Aww, dang. Well, I guess I could always go with something you listed (thanks for that, btw! I may need that for future use). Brown seems like a distinct-enough color that still matches what I had in mind for T, plus it's distinguishable enough from Indian-Red to make a difference. I'll make sure to edit the application right away.

I figured someone might forget to mention and it would be rather odd for them to talk and sudden we realize we can't tell the dialogue apart. XD
Also, @nitemare shape feel free to use that color section and put it somewhere others can use it if needed. Would make finding a color code easier for future players.
