Miyoko kept quiet as Raven and Atsuro conversed, but it wasn't until she had heard Raven's translation of his English rambling did her bored look change... "Ahmhmhmhm" Humming her laughter, Miyoko couldn't prevent a suddenly amused expression burst through her bored features. Atsuro became quiet due to this man's words, clearly she wasn't the only one able to heard the mass amount of stupidity in Raven's pointless ramble. "I'm not sure if you're bold or just plain stupid hmhm. That excuse is not good enough, as an investigator you effectively work 24/7. From what I've just, the American branch is filled with a bunch of slackers. I don't care how tied you are, the ghouls also don't care how tired you are. If you want to sleep then leave and go to your room kid." Her amusement slipped off of her face halfway through her speech, returning her cold features to their rightful positions, looking even more bored than before. "Now enough wasting our time with your pointless quick judgements. I came here because I was ordered to give you an assignment. One that Rank 1 investigator Atsuro Volke will be leading. And my apologises for not introducing myself sooner, I'm First Class Miyoko Ruri, your superior. You need not question my experience as have a vast amount of it, proven by my current position and skill. My personal affairs are none of your business, it seems to me they didn't teach you what respect and manners are in America. Anyway, back to the assignment." Reaching a hand into the inner side of her jacket, Miyoko pulled out a file before handing it over to Atsuro.

- Case 3: Abandoned Water Plant -

"Within this file is a report on an anonymous tip that we've received. The location is an old water purification plant that can only be accessed via a sewer entrance adjacent from the plant. We have reason to believe a ghoul may be using this location as to hide or even for something else. You two are being sent to thoroughly search the facility, take pictures and samples of whatever you can find and return. Raven, Volke is who you'll be answering to throughout this case. If you, at any point, go against an order of his, I will see to it that you get demoted once again. I am aware that you had been demoted from Rank 1 to Rank 2, don't think it can't happen again. We have no space for time wasters. Also, watch what you say, because it will work against you, I assure you it will." The last sentence Miyoko had said was given a much darker tone to it compared to the rest of her speech. "Volke if you have any issues, inform me of them immediately."

Gaining a low whistle from his homeless companion he gave a "heh" before taking a sip of coffee and then glancing up to the ceiling of where he sat. "If she was less homicidal, bet she'd be a fun person to have around." With that he shot Itsuki an incredulous look before shaking his head as he continued, looking down at his cup which contained only a few drops left of coffee before refilling it. He took another swig of his newly poured coffee before he looked over at Ituski with a frown as he asked him if he was crazy, continuing about how weird it could be if she's ok with him being a ghoul and then continuing further about how bad of an idea it would be and things about the doves coming down on him should he fuck up. Mitsurugi rolled his eyes and shook his head as he looked down at his coffee, biting his lower lip. He glanced up at Itsuki with an annoyed expression that was directly aimed for him but the comment about the doves."Look I'm not concerned about the fucking doves to be honest. After the shit I've been through with them if I have to resurrect 'him', then goddammit I'll do it. 'Him' referred to his original alias as Parasyte. His true self. A violent, suicidal monster that was the cause of the death of many CCG members of all ranks. Though most were low, there were a few that ranked fairly high. After he had escaped he quickly made himself disappear and took on the new alias "Jeykll and Hyde". Mostly Hyde would show but like tonight. The silver haired ghoul had met both sides. The caring, forgiving side and the ruthless violent side.

However his eyes softened as he laid his head back against the wall. "As for her...I've been thinking about what she said. She lives not to far from the 1st ward which is a bit disconcerting and I've been thinking..." He opened his mouth but hesitated to say something, figuring he'll have an earful if he said it to his hobo friend. "What if I was just invited to live at a CCG member's house? I mean like I said she's cute and all but... I don't know how that'll work with me being who I am and her being who she is. She'd catch on sooner or later with me not eating her food and always being out and shit. It'll end in one of our deaths but I can't help but wonder...Could I make this work?" He then let out a wierd chuckle which then turned to laughter before settling down again. Then again, it'll be like a wolf in sheep skin trying to date a sheep... all the while the wolf is eating the sheep's friends. Sooner or later that sheep will figure it out if the wolf forgets to wear his skin for the day."

Revan didn't give any inclination that either of his colleagues words bothered him, except for when Miyori called him a kid. This caused him to crack a smile with a short chuckle, deciding to light a cigarette in the end as no one had decided to answer the question. Taking a drag as he listened to the First Class investigator explain the mission, he let a small smoke cloud towards the ceiling efore he spoke, feeling a lot better under the calming influence of tobacco. He decided it best not to respond to the mouthy brat, as he honestly could careless what the kid thought of him. The only reason he cared about what Miyori thought of him was because she could send him onto a hell of burecratic nonsense that was being a rank 3 investigator. He'd rather throw himself to a pack of ghouls before he put himself through that kind of torture.

"Sounds like a boring, but necessary case, though if the ghoul us in the place, we'll be at as slight disadvantage as it knows the area and we don't. Lots of places it could launch as surprise attack, especially if we split up, but then that's the most effective way of searching the facility in a timely fashion." Revan scratched his chin, thinking for a bit before turning to Miyori. "Do we have an idea of what Rank the ghoul or whether he has any associates that could be spending time in his lair? Also, how reliable is this info in the first place? I've seenna lot of men die because of bad info, and I'd rather not be the next on the list. For all we know, this could be a trap to kill some Doves. With only two operatives, this could be a dangerous operation if it'd a trap, or an easy walk through in the dark."

Taking another drag of his cigarette, he breathed out another stream, a grin stretching across his features in preparation for the possibility of battle. "Logical thinking aside, I'm glad it's just going to be me and Mr. By-the-books over here. More chance to gey a good fight in, might be able to get another Quinque out of it . . . or at least get my old one back." Revan eye squinted a bit, as if trying to remember something, but the details were all fuzzy due to some light exhaustion. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a small notepad and began to flip through it, muttering to himself as he did so.

"Psycho Jester . . . no . . . Scarecrow's Kagune type . . . that's not it either . . . maybeit was Leviathan's special abili-oh wait, now I remember." Putting the notepad back in his pocket, he turned to Miyori again, deciding that since she was his commanding officer, he'd have to get her permission first anyhow. "Ruri, right? I kilked a ghoul earlier today while walking through the city, but first I interrogated him for any info to add onto what I had collected prior to arrival through CCG databases in the states, mostly on the culture and mindset of ghouls in the city, what were the gangs here like, and the repuation of each King from the Ghoul's perspective. Anyway, I was wondering if I'd need your approval to collect the quinque from the lab for this and any future kills, or if I could go ahead and collect it when ready. The ghoul in question wasn't that strong, probably C rank at best, but it always helps to have a secondary weapon."

Itsuki looked at Mitsurugi with a blank stare, not betraying sny emotions as he considered what he just said. That didn't hold, however, as he let out a sigh, runing his hand thriygh his hair as he looked up at the ceiling.

"I can't chew you out on this one, no matter how much I know I should. All I can say is that . . . it's not impossible, but I doubt it'll end well. Doves tend not to live very long, and whether you do her in or someother ghoul, it's probanly what will happen before you get chance to really enjoy it if it does work. I say save yourself the heartache, but that's just me." Itsuki closed his eyes as he laid down, the cool floor of the warehouse sending chills down his spine. "So, this mystery woman of your's, she got a name or does she just let random homeless people into her house for kicks?"

Scarcrow continued to watch the investigators from afar when Keisuke finally showed up, hearing his question as he arrived Scarecrow spoke "I did indeed~ I believe we have had a little trouble near our territory which has brought the doves a little to close for comfort...sure we could outright kill them but that'd only make matters worse...these doves just seem to multiply. Instead we are going to pay our friends in the 13th Ward a visit...I've got a good feeling something exciting could happen there~" Behind his mask Scarecrow grinned a little before speaking again "I hope you're ready...things could get messy..."

Ashido turned to look a Naota as they spoke, the idea wasn't a bad one but even Ashido knew that to get a Yatagarasu ghoul you had to be 1 of 2 things...lucky...or crazy. This was because the ghouls from Yatagarasu never ventured far from their wards and if you wanted one you'd have to go into their lair. "It isn't a bad idea but we best start smaller...there is no chance in hell we will be able to simply walk into Yatagarasu territory and find a ghoul without coming under some form of attack...I'd rather not provoke them nor give them a reason to attack the CCG. CCG's main focus right now is Jokers End and Hydra's Nest, it'd be certain death if Yatagarasu came into that equation..."

Keisuke lowered his hood and ran his hand through his blonde hair. He watched the rain fall in front of him, and down onto the sprawling city below. The lights below illuminated the sky. It looked pretty. Keisuke sighed, however, and stepped closer to Scarecrow. The Yatagarasu leader unnerved Keisuke, since he was the only ghoul he knew of that was stronger than him. Tucking his hands into his pockets, Keisuke stood on the ledge, listened to Scarecrow's answer.

Keisuke nodded and replied, "Things getting messy? That's fine with me. Messier the better. Who's causing the trouble?"

[21st Ward]

Yaya nodded at Nebula, now knowing the name of her savior and going to make sure that no one would do anything to her in Yatagarasu. She laughed at what Nebula said, patting her back once again without thinking the consequences "Its okay, its okay. I'm not one for handshakes, too weird for me" She ironically said. Finally they came to a stop in Yatagarasu territory, Yaya about to get out until she noticed Nebula scribbling something down. She tilted her head, taking the piece of paper and looking at it. She took it and returned her gesture with a big smile "Nice to meet you too Nebula! I'll be sure to call your right after what Scarecrow-sama tells me!" She opened the door and hopped out, landing on her bare feet. She closed the door and followed up by taking off her hat and bowing down to Nebula. "Bye bye!!" She yelled before skipping off into the darkness, to return to her home.

Atsuro Volke

Atsuro would simply listen to the two before being told that he would be leading an investigation as the leader and he would be taking Reaven with him. Seemed like he would be more trouble than the actual investigation but it was an order and he wouldn't disobey. Yet when Reven asked his question Atsuro would nod that asking questions was never wrong. "Reliable or not, we will have to investigate anyway. So be on guard at all time when we are there, and you wont end up dying." Atsuro commented as he examined the file he was handed and nodded as he tucked it into his pocket. "Oh? Now you wish to fight? You seem to be very indecisive on this matter. Are you worried about dying or not?" Atsuro asked with a smirk before walking to the door as Reaven asked Miyoko a question, it was an obvious answer though. You got extra Quinques if you were determined worthy enough. You don't just instantly get one every time you kill a ghoul, if it worked like that he himself would have over fifty. "I'll meet you outside in ten minutes. If you aren't there by then, then looks like you will be walking to the scene." Atsuro spoke before walking out the door and outside, where he located his car and drove it to the front and then proceeded to wait.

Naota nodded at what Ashido say, understanding why they couldn't interrogate a Yatagarasu ghoul. Sparking a 3 side war would be suicide, even for CCG. He kept his Cheery smile though "Understood! I suppose we are done here correct?" It's not like a ghoul will just walk right into our laps" He laughed, rubbing the back of his head. It did seem foolish now to interrogate a ghoul. Especially from Yatagarasu, who he heard were all mostly former criminal ghouls. "So where to next Senpai?" He asked, curiosity evident in his tone.

Adam Mariano

13th Ward.

Adam the lonely accountant working at Fijian Bank was heading home form work carrying a bag full of coffee.The coffee was form Italy and was home made in Mollusco a small town near Rome,Unlike his ghoul comrades he had taste including with coffee and his victims whom for the most part are more appealing then most.

He was walking down the lonely road of the city seeing a bunch of scary looking men that he owns money too,Adam tried to hide form them by heading into the alleyway in hopes to hide but was spotted by one of them."Eh pencil dick where the $2000 ya owe us pencil dick?" The leader said walking closer towards him leaving Adam almost paralyses in his wake."I..i..i don't have it but...give me a week..i promise to get you the money soon" Adam said now being pushed onto the ground one of the gangsters.

"That shit isn't gonna fly any more pencil dick you said to give you another week a few times and it has been seven weeks since ya said that so i want my money now" The leader said now one of the goons grabbing him by the shoulder and throwing him into the alleyway beside them."I..told you i would have my money...but i am having a problem with money" Adam spat out being told that he is bullshitting them by buying coffee for himself."Boys teach em a listen to pay on time" The leader said with a smile as the other goons grabbed Adam throwing him against the wall pinning him to the wall.

"Don't stop i will pay you just give me some TIME" Adam voice cracked a little his eyes filled with fear with a goon pulling a knife near his eye making a small cut on his cheek as a appetizer to the pain that he will feel.Adam was feeling a headache coming on and him mumbling the prime numbers."Stop it im in pain stop hitting me" Adam started to cry tears running down his face while the goons cut a bit of his neck and his arm."Shut up and take your medicine little bitch.." The leader of the punching him in the stomach Adam's head leaning down looking at the ground.

"Hehehehe please sir can i have some more?" Adam suddenly started laughing looking up at the leader his eyes pitch black with the pupils bright red."PLEASE SIR CAN I HAVE SOME MORE?" He practically yelled his hand turning into a blade stabbing one of the goons in the stomach."What the fuck?" One of them screamed out but was silenced by one of Adam's pincers going into his mouth while the others coming out of his back chopping off the heads of the other goons.

"Mhm how messy do you see what happens when you bully a poor little accountant..." Adam smiled towards the leader of the goons rushing at him pinning him to the wall."Now i think you owe me something...not money but your hands and your live would be a extra bonus" Adam smile became wider on his face using his hand blade to stab into the man's stomach before cutting off the man's hands and using his pincers tore in half.

"Mhm yummy but these hands are nothing to call home about..but i will take one oh wow 10,000 dollars what a lucky day i have" Adam put the hand away into his jacket pocket pulling the leader's bloody wallet into his pocket trying to wipe the blood on his face.He made his way out picking up his groceries walking towards his house having a good day so far.

Miyoko listened to her subordinates, mildly surprised that Raven had sensible questions to ask on the matter. However Volke's response was correct. "The point of this mission is for you two to find out the answers to those questions. If we knew that information, we'd be able to form an appropriate plan and deal with this quickly. If the situation takes a turn for the worst, contact me and I'll get there as fast as possible." Miyoko grew silent after saying this, listening to the other two and more words spoken from the English language. Her head then lifted a touch after hearing Raven call her last name.

"It is. And yes you will need my approval, however you will also need approval from the Chief laboratory scientist. He will look over your ghoul and deicide whether it is worth spending the resources and time to create a Quinque. I often oversee these observations and liaise with the Scientists so I have a good understanding of the process. A rank C ghoul is not worth it. Rank A and upwards are generally the ghouls we use. Anyway, you won't be needing a new Quinque just yet." Miyoko looked to her left as she watched Atsuro leave at the end of her speech. Once he was out the door, her eyes returned to Raven. "Follow your leader. Once you return, we'll talk. I have a few questions for you."

Shizuka had spent her day roaming around several wards and finally found herself in the 13th Ward after hearing the lines go crazy, she had told the head office she'd respond to the report. This was the reason why no other CCG investigators were sent...not that they weren't far behind...but the CCG couldn't risk it's Investigators like this, after all...Shizuka had been known to kill anything that got in her way. Shizuka now however stood at the end of the street that was in ruins, her eye set upon the two kings as her Scythe rested on her right shoulder, fresh blood dripping from it's blade. She then lifted her scythe blade off her right shoulder as she then flicked it to her right to get the blood off the blade...it was extremely rare her Quinque would get to bath in the blood of a King...let alone two...

Scarecrow listened as Keisuke spoke before replying "I believe a certain King has been causing trouble...and it doesn't take a genius to work out that the work down there is the work of the Jokers End's King...so we're going to go cause a little trouble of our own near their territory, attract even more attention to them. We best make our way there sooner rather than later...let's go" Scarecrow leaped off the roof and onto another and continued on from there, expecting Keisuke to follow.

After some considerable time they'd reach the 13th Ward and upon one of the many roofs they'd have a clear view at an utterly destroyed street with three specific characters standing out. Scarecrow was able to identify two of them as the Kings of the other Organisation yet the woman he couldn't see the face of...but the weapon she held seemed a little familiar. "We best be careful here Keisuke...seems trouble has already started here, however I say we go pay a quick visit to some Jokers End territory...I don't feel like getting roped into this"

(We're in the 13th Ward right now and will be moving to another ward soon. Just wanted to have them stop and see this scene)

Ashido looked to the sky then back down at Naota before speaking "We best go get something to eat...we will do some more investigating tomorrow." Ashido turned and began walking down the street, he wasn't exactly eager to complete this case swiftly...instead they'd try follow a case of their own and catch themselves a more reasonable target...one that Naota would actually be able to fight fairly as this King case was to much...even for Ashido...

Kazumo Igiri

As his teeth sank into Tatsuo's flesh his eyes widened as his bite grew harder. This was truly an incredible meal! Nothing could beat the tase of a fucking king, nothing! yet then he felt the sword stab through him as he glared at Tatsuo as the heads crushed both of them. He released his bite and laughed. "Damn boy buy me a drink first." he taunted before Tatsuo shouted about him finally experiencing losing which made Kazumo laugh even louder before biting into his neck again as Tatsuo kicked off the ground and booked it all the way to the 13th ward. Tatsuo would speak again about experiencing hell together which made Kazumo smirk. "Sure I'll be the damn tour guide ya little shit." Kazumo stated as he braced himself as they both flew threw the building and to the street below where Kazumo would stand up dusting himself off.

As he began to approach Tatsuo again, he noticed this green haired red eyed woman with a sycthe. His eyes widened behind his mask before he looked at Tatsuo. "Well I wont count this as a loss but a draw. I'm not in the mood to have my head lopped off by the she devil there." Kazumo stated reverting back to a human looking form and pushing a button on his helmet which made a bike shoot out of nowhere to which he jumped on it and pushed another button on the bike and waved at Tatsuo. "Sucks you have no ride. Text me if you don't die." Kazumo yelled before vanishing out of sight almost instantly.

Adam after putting away his coffee in his house was now waiting at the main headquarters drinking from a water bottle,"Now where oh where could they be?" He thought to himself smiling to nobody before finishing his water slowly walking towards the recycling bin putting away the empty water bottle.

Adam made his way back to the entrance of the HQ building and while he would be waiting he pulled out a small manga book form his coat pocket,It was called Go Go's Wacky Quest and it was his favorite series of books and hoped where he was would be just as exciting as it already was.

"Gotcha Boss," Was all that Revan said with a nod as he went to follow Atsuro out the door, easily cathng up with the man's stride and getting into the passenger seat of the car. Before he got in, however, he took another drag of his cigarette before dropping it on the ground and snuffing it out under his heel. With that done, he would take his seat, buckling in for safety as he prepped himself for the battle in the form of some last minute calibrations to his arm as they drove towards the destinations, opening up the inner arm ad taking out a few tools to run tests and examinations on the hardware that made it operate. As they approached the destination, Revan decided to address the younger man's earlier comments.

"Atsuro, is it, I sure you've notice by now that my personality is very, very rough, ragged, and generally unpleasant for those around me, yes?" Revan would offer a short pause for the obvious answer before continuing, still working on his arm as he worked. "Well, in my earlier days, that personality came with youthful idiocy that lasted all of 2 days. On my second day in, i got my mentor killed because I rushed into a battle I wasn't ready fro and he had to save my ass, killing the ghoul only to succumb to his wounds shortly after. Ever since that day, I've always worked to reign in my own battle hungry impulses o prevent such things from happening again. One part of doing that is making sure I look at everything from a logical perspective first, than allow myself to get excited for it. It's my way of limiting the high, so to speak."

As Revan spoke, his tone had taken a more somber note than before, his eyes partly clouded over in remembrance for a bit, before he came back to the present with a chuckle, dry as it was.

"As for worrying about my death, all I can say is that I've come to accept the fact that I'll like die in a very horrible fashion one of these days, but I'll be damned if i allow the Reapr to cloud my thoughts o a daily basis. SO I guess the short answer is no, I'm not really concerned about my death. and why would I when living life is much more engaging. Wouldn't you agree?"

Yume eyes the girl closely as she flew off by her tentacle in order to protect herself. However she did not think that the other would go for a rebound as so to say so and made her legs go into a lance like form aiming for Yume. She bit her lip harshly as she started to get irritated by the stubbornness and decided to just go full into the fight as well for as long as the Kings were doing their business with each other. She was not a match for them, not even the slightest bit however if she had to, she was going to give her life for her King no matter what the situation. Maybe this is where she resembled the other ghoul a little in loyalty. But that was the only thing that they had alike.

She made her two tentacles form in a huge knot like weapon and slammed with force against the other her legs, making sure that she was not going to be reached by the ‘lance’. Leaning back almost completely in order to avoid arms swaying into her face, maybe scraping her cheek a little as it was impossible to just get away without any injury. Once that was done, she took a step back and watched the girl take her mask off which was an extremely risky thing to do if the ghouls were enemies. However as the girl made an attempt to bit a piece of flesh out of her neck, her tentacle was already there, pointing the sharp edge towards the girl her face. She was going to pierce her if she was not going to pull back. ”Can you stop now? You’ll make your clothes even dirtier than they already are, though I’m not better.” She said monotonously. ”Also your king seems to be leaving already so why don’t we leave this fight for now.”

[13th Ward]

Tatsuo rose from the rubble, yanking the blade from his stomach and ready to charge back at Kazumo. He stopped dead in his tracks, turning to the side to see a green haired devil. He sighed, his eyes turning cold as Kazumo ran almost immediately. "Tch, if I had longer I would of had the strength to fight you. Too bad my meal just ran away" He said to Shizuka, knowing full well who she was. Among the entire CCG, she was the most dangerous. She didn't care for the life of humans, so hostages were pointless. He also knew words were pointless to her and could only think of escape Next time I'll end things quickly instead of dragging it on like this. Kazumo wasn't in his Kakuja mode, instead 8 of his harpoon appendages behind him. They were thinner but light, light enough for Tatsuo to escape. "I'd love to stay and fight you but not today" He smacked the ground in front of him, kicking up a small dust storm in front of her. He leaped up to the top of a building and kicked off it, heading back to Hydra Nest territory. He knew she'd be hot on his tail, if not swinging at him already. He still pulled out his phone and dialed a number, only saying a few words before abandoning it to turn behind him. "Gather the 9 Heads"

Naota nodded at Ashido, following right behind him as they left the scene. "Aye aye sir" He said like a pirate following it's captain. Truth is, Naota didn't want to deal with this crime scene. The level of strength these Ghouls had were too great for him and he was still only had 1 Quinque. Granted he became incredibly skilled with it but it still had it's weaknesses and he had yet to capture another Ghoul since his promotion. "Ashido-senpai" Naota said, breaking the momentary silence "What was your second Quinque? I have the option to get another one but I'm not sure what type I want. And I don't want one just handed to me, I'd rather earn mines and see what it can do in action." He asked out of curiosity, not even seeing Ashido's first Quinque yet.
