In which case it perfectly suits Adrianne's character, what with her preferring to forego safety for EXTRA POWER!!
The Galvanic Rifle sounds cool and all, but will it really be effective versus anything other than an electrical target/robot? :P
The Galvanic Rifle actually takes the possible energy within a being, and causes it to detonate in an electrical explosion. Which would kill anything with any possible energy, including the potential for movement.

So, even the measly energy output of a human is enough to cause a deadly reaction?
In that case, I can only wonder how much of a reaction it'd create in a robot with a heavy power supply or person wearing powered armor!

They turn potential energy into electric energy, so what ever is standing still or moving slow will get killed by lightning pretty much, in addition to the bullet. I like the new mechanicus stuff.
I don't know what my role in the team would be. I guess with my flamer, I could clear places out? I guess I'm more of a close combat specialist.
Also, I can't bring Duff to missions then? :( @Skyrte
Good times will be had from that Galvanic Rifle. I can imagine him hitting something with it for the first time and it detonating into an electric blast. He will be very surprised, no doubt.
Is this still open for applications? I have a 40k character I've been dying to use, and ATM this is the only active 40k RP I can find. I also have a question: Are custom Imperial Homeworlds/IG Regiments allowed? My character relies heavily on a custom world/regiment. Don't worry though, all their gear and tech is strictly Canon.

We can find one in Act 2 or something, I get the feeling we'll find most of our late game stuff in Act 2 anyways.
Great. The Custom planet I'm using is Espurn, a Forest World in the Calixis sector, where the primary regiment types are Recon and Light Infantry regiments, designed to be used as scouting and skirmish forces to supplement larger multi-planet forces operating in the Sector. The particular regiment is the Espurn 115th Light Infantry regiment, which had been operating on Cadia as part of a training system designed to integrate the various Guard forces in the Sector with each others tactics, to enable them to work together easier.
He is primarily armed with a Scoped Roth Pattern "Lightning" Lasgun, allowing him to fill a role of Designated Marksman, in between that of infantry and sniper, it is modified so that the scope sits above the top of the gun in a manner that still allows the integrated sights to be used. He has an Autopistol as a Sidearm, given to him by his father upon graduation of the Espurn Recon Training Program, two standard issue Frag Grenades, and a survival knife that doubles as a bayonet. Generic gear includes a Vox Caster unit, capable of reaching across the surface of most planets, and even ships in low orbit, an Auspex scanner for detecting enemies in close ranges, and a pair of Binoculars for scouting, on top of the standard issue guardsman gear for most planets. His uniform consists of camouflage fatigues with light flak plates integrated into the cloth of the uniform, and a standard Flak helmet.
Notable Deeds: Graduated Top of his class in Espurn's Basic Training program, and was in the top squad of the Recon Training Program. He served as a Vox Operator in a scouting force during the final years of the most recent Black Crusade, one event of note is when he managed to take out a unsuspecting Cultist general from a sniping position, allowing the Chaos forces to be routed, securing victory in that portion of the battle. Time with Inquisitor: He was only recently recruited, being pulled from a Joint-Combat Drill program with the Cadian Guard, allowing the various planets' regiments to become accustomed to working together Appearance: Caius has a rugged appearance, due in part of his extensive wilderness survival training as part of an Espurn recon unit. He keeps a short, but ragged beard, and scraggly, short brown hair. He's very lean, and somewhat muscular, in fair part of carrying a Vox caster on his back almost constantly. His skin is a light tan color. He is around 5 feet and 11 inches tall, with a weight of around 185 pounds. 40K Knowledge Question: [Choose one] -What are the origins of the Orks? Thr Orks, originally known as the Krork, were created by the Old Ones as warriors capable of using any technology in the known universe, thanks to latent psychic abilities that allowed them to alter reality to fit their beliefs. The Old Ones were killed off before they could complete the design, and the Orks began to roam the galaxy, fighting any and everything they could find.

Looks good enough. The 13th Black Crusade is still in the middle of ongoing though. Put it in the characters tab
