@VitaVitaARFor a sane person, yes. But we're dealing with a clearly insane, psychopathic sadist who's also a bored as fuck immortal. Regular laws of reason don't apply. Plus, he believes he can take her on, and from an OOC perspective, I also believe that, because the nun is a sniper, not a fighter. She's probably going to want to do some running depending on her response, cause right now, she's the most tempting meal out of the three set down before him.
@VitaVitaARLike I said, he's cocky and it depends in the Nun's response. U doubt she's about to pull out her gun and shoot him right now. What I meant is, who is he going to hunt right now? The easy prey that is the unaware, the nervous homunculus that's going to have an edge in surprise, or the Enforcer. It all depends on what happens next and how they all respond.
Personality: Tamaki is a cheerful gal who goes about being dynamic and bombastic, often times puttering around with what seems like limitless amounts of energy. She is direct and to the point, often lacking in anything known as subtlety due to her blunt honesty. She is also stubborn- not giving up on something when she put her mind to work on it, though she's not inflexible in her way of thinking and is of very broad mind and thinking. The girl also tends to have an extremely creative mind that is fertile enough to support a wide variety of daydreams and strange imaginings, essentially making her a cloud cuckoolander.
Abilities: Besides the basic Reinforcement magic, Tamaki's affinity has and always will be "Gems" and such her magic has a lot to do with the eponymous shiny rocks. With this particular affinity, the girl a scrying spell that works best when her target is near or has any sort of jewelery whatsoever. Besides her treasure scrying ability, she can push Mana into gems much faster than any other object and use it as a reserve, much like a stockpile of one ammunition. And finally, due to her being very close to her Affinity, she can temporarily access the attributes of the factors that were used to create gems, mainly "Heat" and "Pressure". With "Heat" she can somewhat make things hotter or colder than they should be by touching them with her hands. For "Pressure", Tamaki can do such things as Bind things she hits for a moment as well as use it to crush things with great force upon impact or throw things from afar with much more piercing power than they should have.
Skills: Well versed in gymnastics, various Chinese Martial Arts (particularly Baguazhang and Piguaquan), Asian cooking styles, and very good at inscribing patterns upon surfaces.
Equipment: Tamaki will always carry around a plethora of jewelery such as earrings, rings and so on, all filled to the brim with Mana in many varieties such as opal, alexandrite, sapphire, and so on. Also on hand is a very large diamond necklace that aren't particularly used for anything but as a particularly large mana battery and used for her more draining spells. All the gems she carries about on her has minute inscriptions carved upon the metal bearings that they are attached to, the better to direct her spells with as well as an effect that redirects most regular people's attentions away from otherwise eye-grabbing bling.
Brief Backstory: Tamaki's family is a particular eccentric clan of treasure hunters, driven by the need to go around the world and amass great wealth not due to greed, but for the simple thrill of collecting a prize after going through a hard challenge. Like any Asagami, Tamaki has the burning ambition to comb the world and amass the best of treasures, particularly gems. With her Affinity, it was rather easy for the girl to amass her current small but steadily growing collection, the majority of what she finds being sold off to provide for those less fortunate than herself and those of the highest carat being put in her personal collection. Due to traveling about in places that could well be described as dangerous and off the beaten path, the girl has plenty of combat experience despite her young age. Currently, the world wanderer has come back to Japan and settled down in Rokuro for the time being, her scryings telling her that there were treasures and challenges to be had in this place... Which pretty appealing to a thrill-seeking Asagami.
So here's what I have for my character so far, still need to work on the history before I reveal it.
Name: Jake Morrigan Age: 21 Gender:Male Appearance:Around 6 ft with a muscular upper body, a few scars here and there from an accident or two, and generally dresses in casual clothes of a lift coloration. J has spiky blonde hair, though he's died the tips red and black for effect, as well as a pair of emerald green eyes. These turn to a shade of fiery orange and gold when Assyr takes control. Personality: Jake is the do-gooder, white knight type of guy, always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who may need it. This has led to him getting taken advantage of from time to time, as he can be a bit gullible, but his hearts in the right place and that's all that matters, right?
Assyr, on the other hand, is very much the definition of Chaotic neutral, doing everything fir his own self-interests, and that of his hosts, and not really caring who gets in the way. He has a love for his freedom, and while being stuck in a human body has it's downsides, it also helos him avoid getting caught by magus' and being forced to grant them wishes. Another thing about Assyr is that he's a flirt, and very, very promiscuous, wanting to have fun with almost any attractive female he lats eyes on. Even if he's in the middle if fighting one, he'll be quick to try and get their number or somethung of that nature. Add onto that a tendancy to say or do whatever without restraint, and you've got yourself a spirit with some high levels of perversion in your hands.
Abilities: Unknown to Jake, he's currently being possessed by a powerful Ifrit, which is a form of Djinn(or genie) that bears an affinity to flames. Known as Assyr, this spirit is usually taking a backseat and letting Jake go about his life, but when Jake's life is endanger, something that the spirit will always be able to sense and assess, Assyr takes control of the body, bringing with him a number of abilities as well. For one, when Assyr is in control, Jake's body gains a supenatural level of physical ability, the highest enhancement being to that of strength, something Ifrits are known for. He also gains a mastery over flames, wielding a dangerous arsenal of fire spells at his finger tips, as well as boasting an immunity to both fire and heat, though it does have a breaking point due to Assyr being in a mortal body. In fact, high amounts of fire and heat actually empower his abilities, though it has to be getting pretty hot for the effect to be noticeable. Intense heat and flames cannevennheal him if need be, but again, there needs to be a lot of heat around for there to be a noticeable effect.
Jake has gained some latent abilities as a result of his position, all of them being weaker versions of what Assyr can do. He's much more fit than other kids his age, his body is more durable by a noticeable margin, and he doesn't burn easily, as he's constantly grabbing, eating, and otherwise interacting with objects that should be burning him, but hardly ever suffering from any kind of burns in his life and never any serious ones. Skills: He's good with his hands, focusing in mostly metal working and wood shop. He's also quite the artist, often making designs of projects that he later planned to convert to metal at a later date. Equipment: His phone, Laptop, Sketchbook, drawing supplies, and his backpack. Brief Backstory: Jake's family was once a powerful family of Magus from the west, known for their mastery of binding the spirits to their will. However, that family is hardly a shadow if what it once was, with few mages left and a majority of them not knowing if their lineage. Jake's father, the last great magus of the clan, set out on a journey to revive the magical power of his clan by finding another way to the origin, leaving behind a pregnant wife who had never been told if her husband's other life.
And so, Jake grew up normally, without a father and only a depressed mother to guide him through life. And yet, despite all of that, Jake never seemed to let life get him down, working his best to improve the lives of everyone around him. That attitude has helped him with a lot of things in life, but one thing it could never help him answer was the cause of his blackouts. They first started when he was around 8, when he'd gotten lost in the woods and had met a grizzly bear face to face.
One moment, he's seeing his life flash before his eyes, then nothing. He seemed to black out to the out of place sound of a fire crackling and popping, only to wake upon his room and unsure of what happened. All throughout his life he's had these strange blackouts, usually happening during a moment where his life is endanger, and wakes up with the danger avoided and people looking at him strangely afterwards. One time he'd even gotten slapped, for what he didn't know, and another moment he woke up with several numbers written in his arm. Over the years, he's learned to just not question what happens, as it doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.
Okay, I've had some time to think a bit here. I'll be honest and say I was unsure from the start about an ifrit but I felt bad about saying no when I'd suggest spirit possession in the first place. But I'm beginning to have some serious concerns about this and I'm also wondering about why you're making him unaware when he has so much power, since the unaware characters are meant to be just getting into the supernatural(@Rin probably has as far as I'd want unaware characters to start off with in terms of power).
Again, I'm sorry for flip-flopping on this like I have, and I absolutely should have decided this earlier. But I honestly feel like if he's going to be unaware he shouldn't start out with very much complicated abilities. Now if you wanted to switch him to be a rookie mage, he could be able to use a summoning circle to invoke some form of fire spirit(possibly an ifrit in a limited capacity) and possibly even utilize willing possession.
@SilverDawn: You're a little late. ^^; @Green Rhapsody already responded. If you need someone to interact with, try heading for the ramen shop maybe? Only two people there.

@SilverDawn, or you can witness Osamu trying to climb up an apartment building.
Hmmm, Shi's most likely just going to head home and then to pick up her equipment, but I don't really want to do something that will sort of take up a lot of space with her not interacting with any players. ^^;
Also thinking of introducing some more NPC's next post.
