So excited for this! I have laid my claim on Selina if no one objects. And @pyromanI am so interested in seeing Ed like that. I just finished binge watching season 1 of Gotham and I am in love with it.

Honestly, I see Bane more being one of Bruce's lackies. Bane is, and always has been, hired muscle. different writers give him different schticks, but for this, I think he works better working with, rather than against, Batman.

Also, after reading the other idea's, I was thinking of the Big Daddy Killer Croc. Essentially, rather than being always alone, he found Cassandra Cain when she was living on the streets in Gotham and took her under his wing. He tried to do best for her by trying to get several jobs, but 10 foot tall crocodile men aren't exactly cut out to be financial consultants... So, he did what most others did and fell back on crime, mainly working as hired muscle. He used the money to pay for her to get privately tutored, but soon, she was old enough and stalks him on each of his jobs, using her incredibly ninja training to help him from the shadows, without him even realizing it.

Currently, I was thinking of him working for one of the other characters, like the Mob Boss Selina Kyle that @Odysseus Moon proposed. Probably not @pyroman and his Riddler, because, well, Croc is street smart, but textbook stupid.

Rich plutocrat puts on bat-themed costume to go beat up poor crooks in the slums. Sounds like a classwarfare fantasy. I always wanted to do a character who was the anti-wayne in terms of origins and all that.

@mattmanganonI always liked the smart tactician bane the most and dont think of him as hired muscle, but you are right comic characters are incredibly dependendant on the writer.

@mattmanganonhmm. I'm not too sure about Bane being just muscle. Bane was rather smart, and his life sentence in prison that was supposed to go to his father would start his hate for a cruel justice system. Had he gotten word about how Bruce dictates Gotham in a similar fashion that the prison dictated him and the other prisoners. Plus, we could have Bane butt heads against Croc.

Also, for what it's worth, Bane's father King Snake is going to be one of Bruce's corporate lackeys, a major executive at Wayne Enterprises. In case that informs any ideas.

I like the idea of Daddy Croc with baby Cassandra Cain a lot. Sounds like a really cool idea. Hoping for an OOC soon! :D
And I'm sure my Fish Mooney inspired Selina would be more than happy to welcome Killer Croc to her merry band of misfits, @mattmanganon

@Odysseus Moon Actually, I meant Daddy Croc, as in, Big Daddy and Hitgirl from Kickass. Only, instead of him training her, she was trained by her real father, who abandoned her after he found that making a 7 year old kill is rather traumatizing to said 7 year old. And he isn't some badass ninja, either. He is just really big and really strong. He's a brawler. But I still kinda want them to have a nice relationship. Also, by this point, she is 17. So, not a little girl by any stretch. So, be fore-warned, when she says "My dad's a real monster" she means that literally. Good luck convincing him to let you date her... Your funeral.

Also, thinking about it. I think it'd be kinda neat to say that one of his unsuccessful jobs was as a Quarterback for the Gotham Knights. Naturally, he was thrown out when he didn't pass his urine test. I was thinking that he lasted just the one season, because the NFL wanted him out for obvious reasons.

Ah okay. Apologies, Croc and Casandra are (obviously) not the characters I'm most knowledgeable in :P But now that I have some clarity, I like that idea much more. So having Croc and Cass to do work for her would be very convenient for her. Hopefully we can have some business agreement in the future ;)

And yeah, I think that him being a former Gotham Knight would be a cool addition to the character.
