[Josh]
Anthony mentioned that Josh might not have to use the bucket, now that he's evolved.
"I'm not sure." Josh said. "I mean, I'm a lot heavier now. It'll probably be more difficult to levitate, if anything."
"That shouldn't be a problem." Matt said. "Your psychic powers were probably enhanced upon evolution. Besides, it can't hurt to try."
Matt was right. It was worth a shot. He began to focus, trying to use his psychic powers to lift himself out of the bucket. It was surprisingly easy, considering how much trouble he had with it before.

At this point, the Pignite came out of the kitchen with their pastries. Josh began to eat one, and he did so at a normal pace, unlike Anthony, who inhaled his in one bite. He noticed that the others seemed to be saving some of their pastries for later. Josh decided to do the same, just in case this mission ended up taking longer than they expected.

Josh couldn't help but overhear the conversation between Spruce and the Pignite. Anthony had apparently heard it as well, since he repeated what they said to Josh.
"I heard them, Anthony." He said. "I just hope that Keira got there after it froze up, and if she did end up getting frozen, I hope there's a way to reverse it."

Josh shuddered a little when he heard Anthony mention Zane.
"I...prefer not to think about that." he said. "That was easily the most terrifying experience I've had since I came to Allure."
He knew Zane was still hunting him down at this very moment. He would find them eventually, and he could only hope that he'll be prepared when it happens. Just in case, though...
"Just so you know, Anthony, to get to the reef, you need to go to the Treasure Town beach and head south. If I end up getting captured, I'm counting on you to get me out of there."

Celes looked at Daniel as he spoke to her and breath deeply, shaking her head.
"Lets just say he had a pretty bad experience with shadow pokemons... I can't explain why though." she then says. It was best that he at least knows that Spruce had a hard time with shadow pokemons, but not explain why though, this way it seemed less suspicious. She was actually not trusting Daniel completely either, but she was at least trying to be nice. When the pastry finally came, she slowly ate it, smiling. For a plain pastry, it was surprisingly good. After a while she had finished it, listening to what was being said. Yuki village... Well that is interesting. She looked at Spruce, whispering to him a bit.
"It's not that I trust him completely either, I am just thinking that if he actually isn't one of those brain washed like shadow pokemons, then being rude like that kinda is no point. Still, best keep watch on him." she whispers. All in a act. All to make it seem she was nice and everything, and when he tries to backstab them... bang, she will hit him hard.

Deravan listened to what Tini was saying, and fallowed Bonnie as best as he could, staying near her all the time, although having a bit of difficulty also. He continued to move quickly, and looked at her.
"Remember me to not get any kind of encyclopedia near Tini... He... is kinda scaring me a bit there." he says, before continuing. He then arrived and then Terra explained where they could look for her daughter. A whole month... it would be surprising that the child would still be there somewhere... there would need to have a clue or something. He looked at her.
"Do you have anything that could help us find her? I mean... any clothing she wears or wore when she disappeared, any information like that? That way we will have a easier time to find where she might end up being, maybe able to ask around for information about her and such to have some clues." he then says. If they were to find her, they needed to work like detectives and try to get the most information they can.

Kamina

Kamina wasn't really a big fan of math, but he did understand the basic concept. Which is why if he were asked to sum up (ha! Math pun) the current situation via math, it would look something like this; Epic Adventure + (Number of Team Members X Number of Team Members Evolved in Current Adventure) + Foes Defeated = A Grand Time for All...only the current mood didn't match his calculations, so something wasn't right. Taking some time to think it through, he tore through his snack (for a creature his size, 3 Plain Pastries isn't even close to a full meal) as he ruminated on the issue. After he had thought about it for long enough, he had an idea, one that was the height of subtlety "I don't get it; we're on an epic quest, we had an awesome fight the other day, and two people evolved. So why is everyone so grumpy...well except for M, he's always kind of grumpy, it's kinda his thing." and that's when it hit him "M...are you spreading your grumps to everyone else?"

---
Tini

Poor, poor naive Bonnie, she had no idea just what kind of depraved evil they were up against 'but that's okay, she's better off ignorant...they both are. I'll do everything I can to make sure they never discover the true horror that is the Encyclopedia Salesmon' Tini thought to himself. Due to being forced to confront his old demons, Tini had decided that it would be best to be solemn. Of course Tini being Tini, he didn't really understand what solemn was, so he settled for a face that made it look like he was constipated. Due to both his body type, and innate Tininess, he was able to follow Bonnie without a problem, and therefor was there as they met Terra. "Please don't worry Mrs. Terra, we'll save your daughter from those filthy Encyclopedia Salesmon. I've dealt with their kind before, once long ago, So I know exactly what we're dealing with"

While thinking about our best plan of action, I stupidly forgot about ordering food for myself. Not that I could've ordered food anyway, leaving my Pokes back at the bank of Allure. Well, I would've lost my money considering we'd been just fighting Team Zan. I'd probably have to ask for food from the others, much to my displeasure. I never came prepared for some odd reason.

This place was warm and welcoming, though even that didn't stop me from feeling like an outsider. Everyone else was busy eyeing each other and planning their next move, against the backdrop of a roaring fireplace and orange lighting illuminating the little toys on the shelves. Books lay dusty while curtains remained shut to keep the heat in. I personally didn't like this setting much, though I was gradually warming to it. This was despite turning my backs on everyone, obsessing over a lost friend and an on-going enemy. I stared out the window, looking for a reason to fight... I just felt myself go hungry and somewhat saddened. Not everything in this world was going to boil down to how feel you fought the enemy or saved the world. It was just survival, really.

"Eheh." I almost chuckled, though I couldn't really make one up if my life depended on it. "Kamina, one day you'll witness great betrayal and defeat so hard that all you can do is turn to hate for love. Not that I'd expect you to understand that, anyway." After that, I slid down against the wooden walls, slowly and gently tapping onto the floor. "Oh... Spruce, you have anything to spare?" I asked a bit weakly, feeling tired and unsure about the quality of sleep I had received that night.

“Huh,” Rebecca says as she picked up the paper. “You know, we could have learned all of this earlier if we just read the paper the first time.” She even knew a cool trick you could do if there was a lit candle handy and the papers were in an envelope with a wax seal, though it probably wouldn’t come in handy in this case. Nevertheless, she held the papers close and at a proper angle to comfortably read them. She’d promised herself she’d carefully read the whole thing earlier, but now that she was actually in the moment, she found herself skimming over the parts that she had trouble understanding. Hopefully she could go back to them later.

“So,” The Ralts said as she carefully reorganized papers back into their original position. “This whole “Square Pokemon” deal is all a bit hard to take in, if kind of familiar in a deja vu sort of way, but what’s a “void crystal” supposed to be? I guess those balance orbs have something to do with those light orbs you mentioned earlier, but this seems to be different if you ask me. Do you know anything about them?” As she spoke, Rebecca held the papers in front of her in one hand and lightly batted at them with the back of the other. It made her seem more "professional", at least in her mind.

After both making sure that all the food was paid for, and that Daniel was finally finished with his food, I start to leave, only to hear M ask me if I had any food to spare. I honestly wondered how he ate at this point, even though he's done it before, I never paid enough attention when he did. I answer him with "Uh, sure. I actually have two to spare, but I was trying to save them for the rest of this exploration. You can have one, though," I then take out one of the plain pastries that I saved, earlier, and hand it to M. "Do you mind eating that on the way? I'd kinda like to finally get moving, again," I then ask, oddly eager to head out into the cold, unforgiving wilderness from the warmth of the bakery. My first step out, however, felt horrible just due to the difference between it and the bakery. I got used to it, and started heading towards where I assumed the forest was... of course, Daniel, of all pokemon, actually corrected me, saying "Uh, Spruce? Hate to criticize you, but that baker said north... you're heading west," I mumbled "Yeah, sure, of course you'd correct me, of course you'd know where it is..." hoping that nobody else overheard me. Anthony exited the bakery soon after that, only to go back in for some reason or another. I simply continued onward, that is, after making sure that everyone was still following me.

After a bit of walking, I finally made it to the forest, and I was already hit in the face with a sense of foreboding... and fear. The sheer volume and density of the trees in this place made it completely dark, even if it was mid-day at the time... and not too long afterwards, a snowstorm starts up, reducing visibility even further. "This... isn't going to be easy, is it?" I ask my group, wondering if anyone was even here at the moment... this seemed like just the place for everyone to get lost... heck, considering the harsh winds that came with the snowstorm, they could be following some wind they think sounds like me, or something. Without knowing where I was going, I stumble around in the darkness, and the snow, only to bump right into a tree. "A...anyone? Where are you?" I ask after looking around and finding nobody near me, now, this could just be due to the extremely poor visibility, or I could have lost them... and soon after, I got a response, but not from any of my teammates, no, instead Daniel decided to respond with "I'm in the tree, right above you, and to your right. I think I might be able to help us all... if you'll let me, of course," Daniel... why did he have to be the only one to answer me? Why couldn't Celes or, heck, even Anthony have heard me? Didn't anyone actually follow me?

[Anthony]

"Right, sorry about reminding you, Josh," I say to Josh as I continue to wait for everyone to finish their food. By this point, Daniel was the only one who wasn't done, but, that's not really his fault, considering that his species wasn't really built to eat their food all too quickly, no birds really were, honestly. Spruce, somehow still ready to leave into the frozen wasteland that separated us from that village (which was probably a pretty cold place, as well), started to pace until Daniel finally finished his food, and, after that was over, he handed M a pastry for whatever reason. Maybe M didn't order anything by accident... wait... to mechanical pokemon still have to eat? That thought made me space out long enough to miss almost everyone leaving, so I tried to hurry to catch up to them... only to remember that I still wasn't all that fast. I went back into the bakery, and thankfully, Kamina was still there. "Uh... hate to ask, but would you mind lowering your head, Kamina?" I asked Kamina, waiting for him to do so.

Once that was decided, I (possibly and most likely on Kamina's head) headed off towards the forest that was described by the baker, which, of course, would put us closer to Keira, and closer to saving whoever sent that SOS message, as well. The forest was pitch-black despite it being noon everywhere else... what really made this strange was the fact that only evergreen trees could actually live in this sort of weather, and they didn't usually have the type of leaves that really darken a forest. I didn't have too much time to figure out why it was so dark in here, as soon after Spruce commented on the obvious difficulty, a snowstorm started brewing, and I tried to give Kamina directions on where I think Spruce might have run off to. "Er... keep going! No, wait, take a right here... oh... no, we should have gone left, sorry!" was about the gist of what I ended up saying. I had to yell, even though Kamina wasn't too far away, at least, I hoped he wasn't, due to the snowstorm picking up in both speed and loudness. I ended up in some sort of clearing, unsure as to whether Kamina was even with me or not.

[Bonnie]

Terra gave Tini a look of confusion, and I had to add "We'll also protect her from whatever else might try to attack her... don't worry about Tini, he's just a little... off," I then head off before realizing that I completely forgot her answer to Deravan's question, so I went back into the hotel, and repeated the question, only to get what I had to assume was the same answer "Well... she was probably wearing her thick sweater, and a matching hat... oh, and her red scarf," I then start to leave, and Terra shouts "SHORTS, TOO!" before I really had a chance to get too far away from the place. I then wait for my teammates to gather, and I repeat everything "So... as for places to find her, we've got the park, the restaurant, and the clothing store... I'd probably get lost if I tried to go anywhere else, so I'll take the clothing store... um... oh, and for clothing items, we've got a thick sweater, a warm hat, and a red scarf, so look for any treecko with those items... or just those items," I then start to head off before adding "Oh, and, remember, we can use the badges to call any other teammate for help, so don't forget to use that option if you've found something," I then finally head off to the clothing store, which was mercifully close to the hotel... but... unfortunately, it was also packed with pokemon, to the point where there was a line just to get in.

Even if it wasn't a very big store, it still wasn't going to be easy trying to find a specific treecko in the place, given just how packed it was... and even then I had to wait in line, in this case, behind a snorlax, who was obviously a tourist. Well, I GUESS this is better than trying to find my way to 'the center of town' or to some 'restaurant' that I didn't even know was around here... I think as I simply wait for a while. After about a half an hour, I get the idea to tell the snorlax in front of me "Uh... can I cut ahead of you, sir? I'm kind of on a mission," this only made the snorlax laugh, and say "Yeah, sure, a fashion mission. I've been fooled by that before, and I'm not letting that happen again. You'll get there when you get there, missy," A larvitar lined up behind me, and tapped me on the shoulder asking "Hey, can I cut ahead of you? I'm on a serious mission," I think for a moment, and eventually just decide to say "Sorry, but if it's a fashion mission, then I can already tell you I'm on a more important one," I then continued to stand there... and wait... well, this wasn't very exciting.

[Nina]

"Yeah, I guess so, but it wasn't really our job to read it, huh? Wow, what am I saying, I've never been one to just blindly follow rules, why the heck DIDN'T I read these during our mission?" I say in response to Rebecca, who was looking over the papers for a while before holding them in a specific way. She then asked me about the void crystals and I say "Well... yeah, I've heard of them. Apparently, they were made to keep Giratina locked in his dimension... if someone were to take even one, the void, our nickname for his dimension, would start spilling into this world. I have no idea what kind of effect that would have on the local pokemon, but it can't be positive," I actually heard about them from my mother, who heard about them once she took on the job of protecting the light orb... apparently a guardian has to know about all the weird, legendary, or powerful artifacts in the world. I wasn't surprised that something of that nature came up in the mystery dungeon report. What really got me was the 'square pokemon', which was on my mind when I said "Hey... do you think we should try to talk to one of these 'wild' pokemon? I'm sure they'd have something to say about it all, or, at least they'd have something to say about the square pokemon from those reports," I then started heading out towards Sunswept Plains, that is, after making sure that Rebecca was following me. Thankfully, it was still noon when we left, even if we seemed to spend a lot of time just getting ready this time.

Once everyone had finished eating and paid, they all headed back out into the cold. They headed north, to the village that the Pignite told them about. They had to cut through a forest to get there, though, and said forest was pitch black, even though it was the middle of the day. To make matters even worse, a snowstorm brewed as soon as they entered. As if the darkness didn't impair Josh's vision enough, now he couldn't even see his own teammates.

He tried as hard as he could to find any trace of his teammates, but there was no sign of them at this point.
"Anthony! Matt! Daniel! Spruce!" He called out, hoping to get an answer. "Anybody out there?"
Unfortunately, his calls were met with nothing but silence. He was lost in the middle of a forest, and would probably freeze to death if he didn't find someone soon. He kept calling out the names of the other group members, hoping that someone would hear him.

"Oh cool! We're isolated! And I certainly didn't get lost 'cause I still found you. And you." And that wasn't a pun. That was sarcasm.

So, let me take you from the bakery to now. Spruce was kind enough to spare me the agony of hunger and hand me over some pastry. Needless to say, I was rather embarrassed, and... er, didn't know how to eat. I was still fairly new to this, but I figured out quickly I'd probably have to mash this into the only orifice I had.

Or not. As soon as I got into contact with some food, I ended up sucking out all the nutrients out of it. Like, an opaque red aura flowed from the pastry to myself, and before I knew it I was looking at a bunch of ashes on my magnets. I somehow felt full of energy and no longer hungry, despite that unorthodox display. Thankfully no one (aside from Anthony and Daniel) stuck around to see me do that, and I ended up thanking the bakery owners who also didn't seem to notice what had happened.

I actually felt quite lonely and mystified once everyone had left. I wanted to know what was going on with me, but who could I ask? For all I knew this was contagious. Maybe I was transforming. Maybe I was going crazy. And I knew I couldn't keep ignoring it, but my friends and team-mates seemed to do their best to ignore the problem themselves...

But, I figured that was because they were shitting themselves. As ventured forward into some dark mysterious place (OH GOD WHY AM I FOLLOWING SPRUCE OUT OF ALL POKEMON), my confusion turned to suspicion and paranoia. Something was definitely off. I liked the cold, the snow as we moved towards our end goal. However, this forest... this wasn't the forest we just came out of. (ARE YOU FUCKING SORRY?!) All the snow seemed fake and the trees swayed like they had something to hide. Instead of the sun bouncing off the snow, it was dim lights and a sense of dread. This was not the place you'd want to be to hunt for Pokemon, because you'd be hunted yourself by... only Arceus knows. (WHAT. IS. THAT.)

By the time I realised we were probably stuck in one of those horrible situations, it was just me... and Spruce, unsurprisingly. Surprisingly, Daniel was around, and not lost with Anthony. How unfortunate. I was tempted to simply end him there, but I wasn't exactly willing to do it. Even as I kept changing in ways I never thought possible. No, I wasn't going to be swayed by what was happening with myself.

"Oh cool! We're isolated! With hooh! And I certainly didn't get lost 'cause I still found hooh. And hooh." And that wasn't a pun. That was sarcasm- oh wait, never-mind. "Ok, let me get this straight Daniel while we're alone and probably at each other's throat (and trust me, this forest is gonna make us go crazy before we know it)." I raised a magnet at Daniel, who was busy eyeing at me and probably more embarrassed than actually annoyed with me. "Me and Spruce aren't exactly very kind towards your own kind. Why haven't we tried to kill you yet? This is the PERFECT opportunity to do so, considering we can just blame your death/disappearance to the effects of this forest." I knew I was slipping into a tirade. This moment nearly made me glad that I was bleeding out. For a moment there, I thought the forest was beginning to distort a bit, but that was just me... I believe. (DEAR ARCEUS. GET ME OUT OF HERE, NOW!) "But no, we haven't. I still haven't tried to kill you because if that happens there won't BE a team. No 'I' in team after this, and therefore if we attack you-" I jerked my magnet at Daniel, who was busy sitting in a tree and probably still thinking about possible ways of now killing me. "-that'll be a giant catalyst for this team's divide. And CELES won't be on our side."

Kamina

"Silly M, that would never happen to me" Kamina chuckled 'after all, the reverse already happened. I know what it's like to have nothing but bitterness and hatred in your heart, it leaves you so empty and hollow inside. In the end, it was too much for me to take, so I had to get rid of all the bitterness, all the hatred...but it wasn't easy, or quick. I wonder if they all believe I was always this upbeat? Perhaps, since none of them could even truly fathom the depths that my torment reached back in the sea, although I'd rather that none of them could even imagine such torture. It was as if the highest of authorities demanded that all who saw me go out of their way to send me deeper in the fridge pits of hell. And those Chinchous...those damn Chinchous...how they tortured me day after day. Even now I can still feel the scars left behind from their ruthless attacks. Truly, those were dark days. Back then, I didn't understand the concept of living, only surviving. Some days it felt like I had only been put on this planet to suffer, day after day. Back then, things all looked so gray-' and that's when Kamina noticed that all the color from the world had been drained, leaving one shades of gray. Closing his eyes and shaking his head, he opened them back up to see everything back to normal 'damn, I thought I was over that' doing the best shrug he could without shoulders, he got up to leave the restaurant with the others, only to be stopped by Anthony who needed to get back on his head. Kamina being Kamina had no problem with this whatsoever.

With his new friend secure on his head, Kamina made his way to...wherever it was that they were going again (he honestly couldn't remember, but as lone as the others did, then he was fine) with the others close by. However, the storm began to pick up, and soon Kamina was left alone with Anthony. the little Dragon tried to navigate for them in the snow, but even Kamina could tell that he wasn't too sure about his directions. "Don't worry little guy, it's just a little snowstorm, I'm sure we'll find them when it fades" he reassured his traveling companion

---
Tini

Tini remembered the restaurant, it was just as seedy now as it had been in the past. It was too dangerous for the others to come here...they had no idea just what they would find here. Slinking up to the counter of the seedy little diner, he got the attention of the owner "pops, I need information."

The older Dragonite turned to his younger evolution, with both surprise and joy etched onto his face "Tini? Son, it really is you! Your mother and I were so worried about you when we couldn't find you at the guild in town. But it looks like you're doing fine. Look at you, you're already growing up"

"I don't have time for a trip down memory lane old man, there's a life on the line!"

"Oh...you're in that kind of mood." Tini's father sighed "it's so strange; a childhood filled with painful sickness, and you just grin and bare it...but a single film noir move marathon does this to you? I just don't understand it."

"There's a young Treeko out there all alone, and I need to find her before it's too late and they get to her!"

"Look, son, you do remember that you never really bought an encyclopedia right? And the salesmon never said it had any of those crazy things you wanted in them, that was all you making crazy assumptions that he obviously didn't know how to respond to."

"We don't have time to argue semantics old man. Besides, how could you possible know what went down in the slums that fateful day?"

"Slums!? It happened right outside my diner. I could hear the entire thing from right her behind the counter. I know this isn't the fanciest place around Scale City, but we aren't in the slums. I'm honestly not sure there even are slums here."

"Just tell me where the Treeko is old man!"

"I know who you're talking about, but I haven't seen her in here recently. I don't know what else to tell you"

"Nuts, another dead end. Although I suppose I can't be too surprised; the life of a rescue team worker is fraught with peril and dead-ends" Tini's narration was undercut by his stomach growling

"Aw, is my little guy hungry?"

"I only hunger for justice"

"Chocolate chip pancakes?"

"With peanut butter and extra syrup"

Celes looked at Spruce as he went to leave, and stared for a bit, before shaking her head.
"Off the warmth, and off to the hell cold...." she says shaking her head, before moving outside, heading off into the cold... only to start having trouble fallowing Spruce. Seriosuly, why was there so much snow... these were times where she wish she was either a glaceon, cause she would not be affected by all this, or a flareon, cause she could keep warm in this dang hell hole of cold. She continued to move.
"Hello? Anyone there?!" she said. Nothing... nada.... niet. She could not hear anything in this god dang snow. She sighed, before seeing a ghostly light at a distance. She looked towards it.
"What in the...." she says, before starting to run, with the light moving away also. She continue to move, fallowing the light thing. What was that..

Deravan looked towards Terra.
"We will do our best to find her, we promiss." he says before heading off, and then hearing Bonnie say something about the clothing store. Then Tini seemed to be heading towards the restaurant, but at such a speed... He sighed.
"Off to the park I guess..." he says before starting to run, only to have multiple pokemons around, actually blocking the way. He stared for a bit. How the heck was he going to pass fast. He then got a idea.
"Alright... I need to aim...." he says, before suddenly using bullet punch upwards, and then holding to a wall, and then using it to jump pass some people, and then continue to run. He then saw another blockade, and a ramp to the side. He jumped on the ramp and actually was sliding down.
"Man, if I had some sort of board right now." he says chuckling, before jumping and then getting pass some people. Soon he was at the park.
"Alright... where would a treecko here..." he says, starting to search around.

“Yeah,” Rebecca mused. “That was pretty bizarre thing for us to do. I probably shouldn’t have skimmed it over when I had the chance to, myself. My real question is who decided that everything has to have orbs and gears and crystals to run off of. Take this gear? Time stops. Smash that orb? Everyone dies. Like, you’d think that they could at least nail them down to something, you know?” She sighed, stopping herself. That’d be a really interesting thing to study, now that she thought about it; the whole dynamic and evolution of macguffins.

“That’s actually a really good idea,” the Ralts complimented, “If they’re not cooperative, we could totally find a light or something to shine in their faces, and we could pull that “good cop, bad cop” shtick I’ve heard all about.” She left and followed Nina for the plains, realizing that she really never knew why anyone didn’t think of this before.

M made his threats to Daniel, and I honestly didn't stop him, no, actually, I agreed with every word he said, and as such, I started to move away from him, making sure that at least M was following me. Daniel, confused, asks "What are you doing? Aren't you going to try to find the others?" I tried to ignore him for a while until he added "I can help you with that, you know. I can see in the dark, and I can fly. Getting my help right now would certainly be more useful than walking in circles... which is what you're doing right now," I then looked back up at him, oddly, he was in a very similar-looking tree, and I finally said "...fine, I guess you can help me search for the rest of the team... hey, how do you keep getting ahead of me anyways?" Daniel then answers "I never moved... you just kept going in circles, like I said," Daniel then jump out of his tree, and started flying just slightly ahead of us, making sure that we could see where he was going, and, contrary to how much I wanted to strangle him with my vines at this point, I followed. Annoyingly enough, Daniel kept shouting as he flew ahead of us, though, unfortunately, it wasn't in my best interest to stop him, after all, how else are the other going to hear us once we get close to them? I simply continued walking through this cold, dark forest, with a pokemon I hated as my guide, and a pokemon who, like me, wanted to kill him as the only other one of my teammates that I trust.

Out of nowhere, Daniel flies backwards a ways, and I see bright red eyes ahead. I create a void whip, when, out of nowhere, I get hit with an ice shard, knocking me back a ways. After that, I finally manage to actually use void whip on said Sneasel, though, unlike a certain sneasel that's a part of a certain team, this didn't knock the sneasel out, no, instead it just laughed at us, and it then leaped out of its hiding spot just to try to use feint attack on M. Daniel took this as his chance to use featherdance on the sneasel, covering the thing in soft feathers... and lowering its attack before it could reach M with its move. I tried to use another void whip on the sneasel, but... I flinched for some reason. Was it simply due to the pain caused by that ice shard from earlier, or was this sneasel holding some sort of flinch-causing item? Either way, I was reminded of the pain from before, particularly in my nose, where most of the move ended up hitting me.

[Anthony]

I was lost, but, at least with Kamina, I wasn't alone. Thankfully, his inner flame or whatever was enough to keep me warm, though, I had no idea why this particular gyrados was so warm... weren't they usually sea creatures, and weren't they usually water/flying types, NOT fire? I finally end up asking the question "Hey, Kamina... why are you so warm? I mean, even when the snowstorm was up, you still felt warm to the touch, why the heck is that?" I then continued to navigate until I heard someone, no, more accurately, until I heard Daniel shout "CELES!? ANTHONY!? KAMINA!? JOSH!? MATT!?" I found it odd that he didn't shout for either Spruce or M, but, then again, those two didn't really get along with him. "Kamina, follow that voice!" I shouted to him. If we could find Daniel, we could get him to find the rest of the team, and maybe even find an exit to this stupid forest. The shout was heard again, but, this time it was cut off with a squawk reminiscent of Archie's... we had to get over there quickly, else, I don't know what will happen to Daniel... especially in a frozen area such as this, which was bound to be home to more than its fair share of ice types... we had to hurry if we wanted Daniel's help, and I was certain that Kamina knew to hurry... he just probably didn't know how useful Daniel, specifically, would be.

[Bonnie]

After waiting for what seemed like hours, and even playing a few card games with the snorlax and the larvitar, I finally get to the front of the line, and, more importantly, the building itself, which was packed full of pokemon of various species... unfortunately for me, said building also included a fair amount of tourists, which, of course, included several treecko and their own parents, save for one. I make my way to the lone treecko, only to notice that he looked familiar... yes, those blood stains on his eyes... but, what the heck was he doing here? Before I could ask Samuel what he was doing here, he vanished into the crowd again, and once the crowd dispersed, he was nowhere to be found. Dang... well, I guess we'll never put the 'green' back into Team Green, huh? I thought before I hear someone flying over me. I looked up to see the altaria who runs the shop, Amanda. "Hello, there, Ms. Buneary!" she said to me in a sort of singing voice. She then continued with "What can I help you find, missy?" I answer with "Uh... OH! You can help me find a treecko... Terra's daughter, to be precise. I heard she likes to hang out around here, so, have you seen her?" Amanda seems to think back to something, and answers with "Yes, I have! She stopped by for a moment, and said that she was heading to the park afterwards. She had an unfamiliar charmander with her, too," I then stepped out of the building, and called Eralion's badge using my own. "Eralion?" I asked, waiting for him to answer. Once he did, I added "I found some sort of clue... er... Amanda said that she saw our treecko earlier, and that she supposedly headed off to the park with a strange charmander... did you find anything at the park, yet?" I then waited for another response from him, hoping that he found some sort of clue there.

[Nina]

I simply nodded, and dashed off into Sunswept Plains in excitement. Finally, we were going to find out something about these mystery dungeons, and, sure, I might have lived in one my entire life, but even then I felt like I had no idea what caused them, or what happened in them. The sun was shining as bright as ever today, and some of the fuzzier pokemon seemed to be in trouble as a result, particularly, a mareep, who was barely keeping up with a litleo, and apparently trying its hardest not to overheat in the process. The litleo, of course, was messing around with his supposed friend when I just jumped right between the two. "YOU THERE! Tell me about what weird things you see in these dungeons, in your own home!" I shouted with... probably too much volume, as the mareep jumped back and answered "I'm sorry, ms. scary nidoran, I... I don't know what you're talking about!" I then looked at the litleo, as if he'd give me a better response, and he replied with "We're... not wild pokemon anymore. We're a newer rescue team, erm... I don't really like our team name, though..." the mareep then continued his sentence with a bit more enthusiasm than he did, answering "We're Team Fluff! The fuzziest team on the roster!" Shoot... I thought those were wild pokemon! I mean... their exact species isn't exactly rare around here... I think as the two show off their normal-rank badges. I then walk back to Rebecca, my mood having dropped since that mess up "Uh... I messed up, Rebecca..." I answer as the two from earlier start heading off to do whatever low-level mission they were doing here.

I then continued walking through the plains in hopes of finding some actual wild pokemon and not another rescue team that just happens to consist of species from this area, noting the somewhat wilted grass which would normally be healthy and green at this time of the year I then wait for just a moment, and notice parts of the ground completely change, as if something was shuffling pieces of the dungeon around... even if these were plains, and there really wasn't too much to see change, or shuffle, after all every part of this dungeon looks like the next and previous, I did notice Team Fluff suddenly reappear in front of me, looking bewildered. "Hey... didn't we pass you a few minutes ago?" the litleo asked me. I nodded, and said "You just sort of... appeared here... how did that happen?" I then finally find another litleo, this one probably NOT a part of another rescue team, and I head off towards that one, effectively ending my conversation with Team Fluff, and once I get to the litleo, I repeat "YOU THERE! Tell me about what weird things you see in these dungeons, in your own home!" not exactly being cautious, and not even making an effort to not scare the litleo, who answered me with an ember attack on my face... unfortunately.

Celes continue to move, not seeing a lot except a strange light thing again. She continue to move, fallowing the light before seeing a bit more trees, one that was bigger then the others. She moved behind it, blocking some of the snow. She looked around, shivering a bit from the cold. Where the heck did Spruce and the others go anyway. She could hear a voice in the distance, but was unable to identify exactly where it was coming from. She sighed as she sat down, thinking. She then got her badge out. Maybe she could call them.
"Spruce, you there.... it's me Celes... Stupid snow... I don't know where you guys are, I found a larger tree to stay behind, but its getting cold as heck here." she says, shivering. Why oh god why did she not evolve into a glaceon or a flareon. At least she would be kept warm here... She sighed and shivers a bit more. At least this tree was big enough to cut the cold wind.

Eralion heard Bonnies messasge, and sighed.
"Not yet, I just arrived there, one second." he says before starting to search around, looking for anyone that might know where the treecko would be. He then moved towards a haxorus that was sat down in the grass. He slowly moved towards it.
"Excuse me?" he asks, but the haxorus didn't hear, seemed like it was too concentrated on the sky.
"Excuse me!?" Eralion then yelled. Suddenly the haxorus looked at him.
"What do you want you wipper snapper..." it then said. Great... from every pokemon he could talk to, it had to be the elderly type...
"I am looking for a Treecko. Terra's daughter, have you seen her around?" he asks.
"What did you say!? I could not hear you." the haxorus says. Eralion shakes his head, before a fraxure walked by, hearing the conversation.
"Sorry, my gramps has a hard time hearing. What did you want?" the fraxure asks.
"I am looking for Terra's daughter... have you seen her around?" he asks. The fraxure think.
"I think I saw her going with a charmander to the restaurant..." he then says.
"Thank you." Eralion says before opening communication with his team.
"I got info that they were her daughter was heading to the restaurant, I guess we will meet up there." he says.

Kamina

Kamina chuckled at Anthony's question. "Isn't it obvious; my soul burns with an eternal flame, one fueled by my endless passion and drive. It is that very flame that has given me a Fire Type" he explained. He was about to go into more detail, when suddenly he heard a voice calling out. Before he could say or do anything in response, Anthony cried out for him to hurry to the voice's location. "Hold on tight, I'll be going as fast as I can" and indeed he did. Granted, as a creature without legs, it wasn't fast enough to shake the smaller Dragon off, but he wasn't going slow either. Once Kamina and his passenger were within sight of Anthony's friend (the one Spruce seemed to have some sort of issue with for reasons Kamina didn't fully understand), he saw another Sneasel attacking Spruce (who was also there, along with M) "GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!" Kamina bellowed. As hot blooded as he was, he still remembered that he had someone on his head. So instead of launching at the attacker with a Flame Charge, he settled for a simple Ember.

Tini

Tini munched on his chocolate chip pancakes of justice, slathered in peanut butter and drowning in syrup. It tasted like the truth, a truth so bitter that many would rather partake of the sweet lies that were fed to the masses. So that-

"Does that feel any better?" Tini's father asked

"M mlogg" was Tini's muffled reply

"Swallow your food first" he chided his son

After doing just that, Tini repeated himself "I'm monologuing"

"Tini, what have your mother and I told you about that?"

"'Only evil overlords and crazy people monologue'" Tini recited

"That's right mister, so cut out the crazy talking to yourself" Tini's father said as he wagged a finger

"Yes papa" Tini responded, briefly slipping out of his noir persona. Finishing up his breakfast, he was about to contact his teamates to let them know that the restaurant was a dead end...until Eralion's message came in. After Eralion finished talking, Tini took a few moments to mull it over before turning back to his father. "so old man, do you want to explain that?"

"Explain what? Your friend just said that she was coming here. How would I know anything about that?" His father shrugged. Suddenly, he remembered the last part of the message "wait...they're coming here. Am I going to meet your little friends? Ohhhh, let me get my camera" he rushed off the get said item

(THIS IS GETTING WORSE BY EVERY SECOND!) That tirade earlier? I just... I just wanted to know. If Daniel was with Desia, he would have probably laughed and began attacking us, in an attempt to split the group apart and blame it on the more suspicious half. Probably could've fled in the chaos and get a promotion from Desia or something. Considering Daniel still wasn't willing to attack us... either he was a coward or he really wasn't a part of some big conspiracy to take over the world. He offered to be our guide - I didn't agree with him helping us, but I also didn't object. At this point, it was hard to convince even myself that he was still Desia's minion. Maybe a spy, but... even a spy would've taken the opportunity to end us.

I got a slight headache while Spruce glared at Daniel, who at this point seemed to have had enough of us. He wasn't angry, just disappointed. I could tell through all the shroud and snow that he probably wanted to give up by now, because I would've lashed out if I was confronted like this. As Daniel flew to act as a guide, I kept a stern face and struggled to get through the wind, which seemed to have grown in strength. I decided enough was enough, and hovered side-by-side with Spruce. He still seemed convinced Daniel was out to get us, but with all these opportunities... it just didn't seem as if he was Desia's minion. "Spruce." I croaked, clearing my mouth and calling out his name normally. Chances were that Daniel wouldn't hear us in this horrible weather. "That was just a gambit to see whether or not Daniel wanted to see this group fall apart. It didn't work, and with all these lost opportunities-" I avoided a tree branch, jumping over and clearing freezing snow away from my eye. "-I'm starting to think he's telling the truth." Spruce didn't seemed fazed, but that was because everything just stood still. Suddenly, Spruce almost did a backflip, ice shattering and crystal shards flying around in the air like dust. "Ok, you son of a bitch-" I assumed Daniel heard me and actually decided to finally attack me. Problem was, could birds even flick ice at Pokemon? (DAMN. IT. CAN WE JUST STOP?!)

"-not you Daniel!" Alarmingly, we were ambushed by a reckless Sneasel, ready to pounce at us. Spruce was recovering and getting up, but as I tried to help the damned Sneasel tricked me into thinking he had punched me. Then he quickly clawed at me, missing but making me stumble in the air. As if the weather wasn't already horrible, I was blown into a thick dry tree and struggled to regain composure, the impact making me light-headed. "Oh, for Arceus'..." I spat onto a dead bush (somehow), facing the Sneasel again and casting a branch of lightning which boomed through the air and struck the Sneasel, making it amusingly dance briefly before throwing another shard of ice at me.

I anticipated this and simply swatted the shard of ice away, knowing ice was essentially a joke towards me. What I DIDN'T anticipate was Kamina and Anthony (on top of Kamina's head) appearing behind the Sneasel as soon as I blinked, spitting flaks of fire at the Sneasel's back. It got distracted and hissed at Kamina, ready to pounce once more; I raised my eyelid, unsure whether or not fire was exactly appropriate in this snowy environment. What? You got make a fire in a blizzard then. Either way, that Sneasel was screwed, and was just wasting its time against us. Hopefully we found Celes and the others before they had their own nasty encounters.

~Talon~

It took a few days, but today was the day that he would arrive at one of the towns with an explorer guild. Didn't know which one, though, or that they were right next to each other, he hadn't gotten those details before he left home. He soon passed over some plains, the breeze feeling good on him as he flew, and he looked around at the expanse of grass.

It was has he looked around that he noticed the ground didn't seem to... stay the same? He would continue flying, assuming it was his mind playing tricks on him from flying for so long. Eventually, he realized that the plains didn't seem to end, and flew lower to examine the ground. Other than the grass being a little dry, he didn't notice anything different. Landing, he decided to walk for a bit to give his wings a rest.

After a bit of walking he spotted some pokemon in the distance, seeming to be talking. As he got closer one of them, a Nidoran, ran up to yet another pokemon and seemed to say something to it. Then said pokemon attacked her. Without really thinking about it, Talon took off and flew over, he wings seeming to glow lightly as he slammed them into the attacker's side and continued flying to hover a short distance away.

Over the sound of the snowstorm, Josh could just barely make out a voice in the distance. He went to investigate the source, and found Celes sitting next to a tree, and she had her badge out for some reason.
"Celes! Thank Arceus I found someone. I thought I was alone out here." Josh said. "Have you seen any of the others? Or, at least have some idea where they are?"

Rebecca smiled as she felt the sun shine down on her. Partially because it made her hair feel nice and warm, and also because the area was actually staying true to it’s name, unlike the deluge that greeted her the last time she visited. Nevertheless, her smile was soon removed when Nina proved that she had very little nuance when it came to interrogation, managing to scare some pokemon that weren’t even “wild” in the first place. Hopefully they wouldn’t go back to the guild and gossip about that...

“It’s fine,” Rebecca said with a smile when she confesses that she did indeed mess up, “It’s just another chance to improve, right?” She let Nina take the lead, noting that she at least seemed to know how to navigate. The terrain seemed to shift in an increasingly bizarre way, to the point that they bumped into the exact same team that Nina had tried to get info out of earlier, which was kind of creepy when she thought about it. Would it even let them leave? Probably not, if they didn't have those badges... She guessed it explained why pokemon needed help getting out of these places. Nevertheless, Nina proved that she really didn't learn too much from the last encounter with a "wild" pokemon by shouting the exact same thing in it's face. It responded in much the same way before Rebecca could lecture her about it, spraying a bunch of flaming hot embers in the Nidoran's face. Things escalated even further when a Rufflet suddenly swooped down from the skies and smacked the offending Litleo in the face. Deciding to use the opportunity to her advantage, Rebecca used Confusion to lift the Litleo into the air before slamming it back into the ground.

The sneasel that decided to try to sucker punch me with an ice shard was quickly teamed up against by my teammates... and Daniel, who decided to show off that he's a shadow pokemon in front of everyone again by using his shadowy tackle move to finally finish off the sneasel. I then heard M explain how Daniel might not be working for Desia, how Daniel, at least up to this point had more than enough opportunities to destroy us, and more than enough cover to do so without being blamed for it. I looked at Daniel, taking M's words into consideration, and he looked back as if hopeful that I might finally accept him as a temporary team member. I finally break the silence with "Uh... nice attack... thanks for finishing off that sneasel. Maybe... you're not evil, and maybe not all shadow pokemon are evil... sorry I was a jerk," well, he sure seemed happy after I said that, even if I said it somewhat begrudgingly, and Anthony, for the first time in a while, didn't complain about anything. "So... almost everyone's here, right? Where's Celes, though? Did either of you see her?" Anthony shook his head, saying "Not a trace since the snowstorm, sorry," I then look over to Daniel, who started flying up in the air once more, and I followed him, once more through the snow... though, it was somehow more tolerable than it was last time...

I continued letting Daniel lead me through the forest, with him continuing to shout "CELES, JOSH, MATT!" as I tried and thankfully succeeded at tracking him. I then hear someone from deeper in the forest... "Barry? Is that you? I'm STILL LOST HERE!" that... didn't sound a thing like Celes. Just as well, as the voice apparently belonged to a very skinny, very crazy-looking arcanine, who jumped right at us, shouting "YOU'RE NOT BARRY! Wait... you must be MORE CRAZY, LOST POKEMON IN THE FOREST! Good... 'cause I'm HUNGRY!" I jump back just to try to put some sort of distance between myself and the fire dog, but that proved to be a mistake, as he instantly caught up and used Fire Fang on me... or, at least, he would have if Daniel didn't get in the way. Daniel took this opportunity to use another shadowy tackle against the thing while I used void whip, though... the attacks didn't really seem to do nearly as much as they did to the sneasel... and as soon as he was done trying to attack me, he seemed to set his eyes on M, probably knowing that he'd be just as weak to his fiery attacks as I was. The fact that M started growing feathers probably didn't help him look unappetizing, evidently, as the arcanine started running right towards M, mumbling something about turkeys, and chickens while he licked his teeth.

[Anthony]

Hurt from Kamina's ember, as well as a few other attacks, the sneasel was finished off with a Shadow Charge from Daniel, which seemed to finally evoke some sort of feeling of gratitude in Spruce, as that seemed to make him finally admit that Daniel wasn't evil, and that Spruce was being a jerk by, well, being a big jerk to him. Wow... this could be some sort of momentous occasion... but, he's only really known Daniel for a day. Ah, well, at least Spruce doesn't hate him anymore. I thought as the snowstorm started to die down. Spruce asked me if I knew where Celes was, and I answered honestly with "Not a trace since the snowstorm, sorry," after that, Spruce was off, following Daniel for some reason... wait... maybe it was just because Daniel can fly, as well as see in the dark. Yes, even with the snowstorm finally gone, it wasn't all that easy to see in this place, just due to the darkness, an element that Daniel was more than familiar with. Kamina probably followed the group, most likely because he didn't want to lose his friends and teammates again, and I just stayed on his head, not exactly wanting to slither around in the snow... of course, it didn't seem like Kamina actually noticed the snow, or even cared. I then thought about how weird it was that snow was able to get through the trees, but light somehow wasn't... perhaps all the snow on the ground just fell from the trees whenever a wind blew, and never melted due to the low temperatures... no, that had to be the explanation.

We all continued through the forest until we met up with a somewhat crazy-looking arcanine who was apparently looking for his friend 'Barry'... or some food, whichever came first, he apparently wasn't too picky. The irony of it all was the fact that he attacked all of us after accusing US of being crazy... well... then again, Kamina, but he was still crazier, and more dangerous, as he instantly tried to take a bite out of Spruce, however, Daniel decided to get in the way of that attack, and he even countered the attack with one of his own, just as Spruce used a weird variation on a vine whip on the guy... who seemed oddly unfazed by the attacks. The crazy canine then ran right towards M, fire filling his mouth as he licked his teeth. I actually intercepted the attack this time, jumping off of Kamina's head, and right between M and the arcanine, taking the hit... and literally using counter on the beast, who staggered backwards from what was essentially his own power launched back at him. "Look... we know you're lost, but attacking us isn't going to help! We're a part of a rescue te-" I got cut off by the arcanine shouting "RESCUE TEAM!? OH NO! THEY FOUND OUT!" he then started running around in circles shouting "BARRY! THEY FOUND US! WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" which made about as much logical sense as me headbutting a tree just so I can eventually break the tree... and stop headbutting it.

[Bonnie]

"Restaurant, right! I'll... um... find a way to get there!" I sad via badge before Eralion stopped communication. I then shoved my way through what could essentially be a pokemon ocean at this point, and finally make it out of the clothing shop... only to remember that I can never find my way around this accursed city. I felt like shouting some random swear word into the sky, but then I remembered that most of the city's population likes to hang out there, and might think that said swear was an insult directed at them... making them, most likely a powerful dragon mad at me, a pathetically weak bunny, so I held my tongue, and just started heading in a direction where I think I saw a restaurant. The rock maze confused me again, and I ended up in what could only be described as a 'bad' part of town. I kept an eye out for any potential criminals... mainly so I could avoid them, and managed to avoid most of them until I finally let my guard down... only to get surprised by, of all things, an encyclopedia salespokemon. "Hi! Have I shown you my amazing prices!?" the salespokemon shouted at me just when I was on edge from being surrounded by criminals who could slice me in half if it would make them money... this... prompted me to make the dumbest of mistakes, and simply had me run away from the salespokemon screaming "GO AWAY, THIEEEEFFFF!" all while a family watched. I probably just made that innocent pokemon suffer a huge drop in sales due to me still being a bit of a coward.

I ran out of energy to run right in front of some apartment complex, and I notice a billboard for a breakfast place, which was apparently not exactly far away from me... the sign was convenient enough to point me in the right direction, as well. I wearily walked over to the place, which had a sign depicting a smiling dragonite holding a spatula in one hand, and a plate with several pancakes stacked onto it in another. I hope this is the place... I've already had too much of this city for one day. I think as I open the restaurant, only to see Tini, as well as a dragonite that seemed to resemble him in some eerie way. "I'm... here... Tini... whew... sorry, I can't ever find my way around this city. I think I might have just ran around the entire city just to get here," I nearly collapsed into a nearby chair, exhausted. After catching my breath, I finally get the nerve to ask "So, is there any reason why you have a sort of eerie resemblance to my friend, Tini, ma'am?" I then point to the dragonair who was sitting in his chair in a weird way, but, how else are you going to sit when you're a snake, right? I noticed that the lights were unusually dim everywhere but near Tini, creating this weird spotlight effect that you'd normally see in detective comics... of course, those were usually in black and white, as well.

[Nina]

The litleo ran off after getting slammed into the ground with Rebecca's psychic powers, and I turned back towards her. "Alright... I'm not the best at this... how do we get them to not attack us?" I asked her, almost sheepishly, knowing that my way was probably never going to get results, but, then again, I knew why... sort of. I was shouting, and to a wild pokemon that usually just means anger. I then remembered the random rufflet that decided to join in on the fight, and I walk up to him and say "Oh, and, thanks for your help. You're not a wild pokemon, are you? Er... either way, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Nina, and this is Rebecca," I then look back at Rebecca, as if to point her out to the newcomer. I then recall that we lost a few team members, though, I felt as if Rebecca should offer membership to him, not me. I start sort of looking around, noticing a few wild pokemon run off as soon as I met their gaze. Come on... I know wild pokemon are easy to scare, but I'm not a ghost, or some all-powerful pokemon... ugh, my mistakes are going to make this mission that much more annoying, aren't they? I started yelling at them, and now they won't touch our team with a twenty-foot pole. I think as I try looking around to find a group of wild pokemon that don't run away from us on sight. Even after ten minutes of doing that, as well as listening to whatever conversation was going on at the time, I still couldn't find any that stayed put, or even approached us. Team Fluff passed by us again, looking even more confused than last time, and, like the first time, I almost mistook them for wild pokemon. Fortunately, I stopped myself before making THAT mistake again.

Celes was shivering right now, the cold starting to get to her. She thoguh she was hearing vocies... someoen calling out for her. She shaked a bit, getting back to her old self before seeing Josh. She smiles a bit.
"Glad... someone else found me. I.... don't actually know... I wish I knew though." she says, before getting her badge out to communicate with the others.
"Guys... if your hearing this, Josh is with me at the moment, we are behind a big tree, protecting ourselves from the shivering winds of this place. This place is so god dang cold... Who the heck would willingly want to go here in the first palce appart from ice types, or maybe ghost types." she says, shivering a bit. If only she were to have evolved into a vaporeon or flareon of glaceon, the cold would have bothered her less, but with this... This was really much more of a pain then anything. Her dang ribbons felt like they would break from a slight impact with how cold it was here. Her whole body felt slightly numb right now.

Eralion breath deeply before going to head to the restaurant also, though he was having some problems getting there. As he walked by, he heard one guy, a Gabite, with a strange large book in his hands.
"Sir, would you be interested in one of our fine Encycl..." he had the time to say, before Eralion responded.
"No I do not have time to talk about encyclopedia's, and I am not interested into one. Trust me when I say that if I were to buy one, my friend would probably blow a fuse and destroy it." he says before runnning off, leaving the Gabite with a large confused look in his face. What the heck was that all about.
Eralion continue moving, before getting in front of the restaurant after having: A. Gotten lost and ended up in the spa section of town, luckily not accidentally entering the woman's spa. B. Slipping on something and falling right on a goodra and in a result being covered in slime. C. Heading to the nearest water source to clean the slime off. D. Fall again and almost fall right into a goomy, but being quick enough and landing close to it. E. Find a bill board with the wrong restaurant and almost going face first into a sliggoo while opening the door....
Anyway... He entered the restaurant, moving where Bonnie and Tini already. He breath deeply.
"Remember me to watch my dang steps in this city..." he says, breathing deeply, continuing to move and... slip right into a chair next to Bonnie, he looks at his feel, and frown. Goodra slime.
"Dang it... I though I remove that dang slime. So many goomy line evolutions here." he says in a low voice, before going and sitting down.
