I'm not sure when most of you were planning on meeting up, but I promise I'll get to Delaware as soon as possible (if you read my post, Dwyn starts on the Appalachian Trail in Virginia). I'm wanting to do one more post on how she fails to survive in the mountains, one where she makes a break for the coast with other survivors and lots of them die in the swamps, and then after that I'll somehow get her to Delaware. So like four posts from now I'll try to intersect with someone...

True, silencers don't make a gun "silent" by any means. However, they are effective enough that they disfigure the sound of the gunshot, to the point where most individuals not in the immediate area (and unless military trained) wouldn't know the sound as a gun firing -- or precisely where the sound occurred.

So I'm just floored by the amount of interest in this. At this point, we've got thirteen characters on the roster after less than a week, and everyone seems to be coordinating their efforts in grouping their characters up really well. Proud of you guys!

Sidenote: I was looking through the archives of my computer, and stumbled across my file for the TWD roleplay which inspired this one. After two years, that Roleplay had over 40 characters (only about 10 were alive at the conclusion of the RP), and I had contributed 50,000 words to it (And I was by no means the longest or most eloquent writer of the bunch, so I'm sure others had a much longer word count). So, I found it interesting to look back, but also to strive to make this RP as vibrant and full of depth as we can. Let's make a world that we're proud of, where, when this is all over, we'll look back and think we were all part of something pretty darn cool.

Name: Gabel Grace Wester
Age: 7 and 1/2 years old.
Occupation: She's a child man, she went to school I guess.
Nationality: American
Appearance:
Being a cute little thing she actually tries to take care of herself brushing her hair and teeth when she can. She is usually seen wearing a white dress with little flowers on it.[/img]
Place of Residence: Her home in around Bear Delaware.
Strengths: She actually understands the "Monsters" around her. She is clever, very clever for her age trying to teach herself to use a gun. Also she can ride a bike without training wheels, that's good right?
Weaknesses: She is a child, pretty big weakness right there. She doesn't know squat about guns, again she's a kid.
Belongings: Hairbrush, she wouldn't leave anywhere without the black brush her mother gave her also her dad's lab coat is used as a blanket
Personality: Gabel is a strange imaginative child believing in everything her mother offered to teach her. Her mother was a "Modern Witch" Her father taught her lots of little things she could do and she loved to grow little plants in her room or look at her candles. She loves to cook making a lot of food for herself, knowing a recipe for pancakes by heart. She can be silent at times but also very social at others knowing how to care for herself pretty well.
Other: She is a very strange child.

The second second he took notice to the occupants of said car; Aggressive figure in back seat, threating presence, female, Caucasian in color, long hair, looks frightened. 'Why is she-'. The third second was when he reacted he looked over through the ACOG part of his scope to take notice to the walker outside of her car and fired two shots; The first hit the neck, whipping the head in his direction and the second hit its head, brain matter spattering the driver side window. He the quickly swung the gun to the inside of the car. From the driver's point of view it would seem he was aiming his gun at her however two more muffled pops went off as the glass from the windshield shot inward with two small holes to show where the shots were. Close to her seat but punctured behind her as the unwanted guest smacked its head against the back seat and then quickly went limp.

I only alluded to one zombie bashing the trunk of the car. The second zombie, the one inside the car, comes as a shock. Did it appear shortly after and break the rear passenger window? Keep in mind that a Crown Vic's passenger window would be barred.
