@Rin well one of the ideas i had wasn't really specific to the kingdom but instead a kind of undead that are called "Reawakened" there a kind of undead that have risen on there own without any aid. they tend to be much more recently deceased so there is very little decomposition, so they could in theory be mistaken for someone still living from a distance.

Also i had idea what the undead king is called, there refereed to has the Underking or queen. also a bit of an odd idea its based off an Icelandic folk-tale, and its that ghosts can't say the word God instead they Gah (just thought i would bring up due to some of us wanting to have a much more of a folktale feel to Marduk)


Right, feeling a bit less lightheaded now so let's see...

Honestly do like these ideas. Well, not entirely sure about the Gah one but other than that they seem pretty solid.

...Also, um, about the other people's ideas... I'd feel a bit uncomfortable using the ideas of people who aren't a part of this (yet?), unfortunately, so I'm going to ignore it for now in case it ends up influencing me somehow. If Joe gives you the okay to join, though, I'll take a look at it but for now, um, yeah. ^^; Sorry aboud that.

Lord Reaf is the God of fear and madness, and the eldest son of Varamikus. Lord Reaf true form is that of a tall (say 9 feet) Humanoid with bleach white skin, a mouth filled with razor sharp silver teeth and two glowing red eyes, he wears a black over-coat that covers his entire body except his hands and head. his hands have long fingers. When traversing the mortal realms Lord Reaf will take on the appearance of a always grinning Human, wearing a silver colored priest robes with his face on the back.

through his disguise has started a cult revolving around him

Hmm. Not sure how I feel about gods physically manifesting, since it would move the focus of world history onto 'what the fuck are the gods doing' and that's a bit too Forgotten Realms. XD

... that, and gods of wholly negative and extremely narrow domains seem too... granular? Like having a god of the mind who's a total asshole would make more sense and explain why the other deities actually accept them, since they're important.

@Billsomething: Hmmm. I'll have to think on what I'd want for a Death deity a bit more, really.

On the subject of gods in general, I think that the best option is to have them just not appear in the mortal plane. They can have physical forms and everything, but they just work through other ways.

... Also I am probably taking vampires if no-one has any issue with that. I think I have some ideas for them that should be interesting hopefully.

@VitaVitaAR Technically there are two gods of death. there's Varamikus who is your Scary death then there is his daughter Giyakalag who is essentially death from discworld

FUN FACT: Giyakalag means Guide of the souls

I don't know much about Vampire: The Masquerade at all. ^^;

I think I have some good ideas though. Some of them borrowed from my own personal worldbuilding and some of them... well, you'll see.

OK originally i was going to write this as if it was from an in-game book or something. but it just wasn't working so i just went for quick summery of my ideas

Of all the races of Marduk The wood Elves are the Most isolated.

the other races question their existence.

Wood Elves don't have a country of origin instead they have multiple settlements in the many forest of Marduk (This Excludes the forest surrounding "Regnum Mortis")

They have the longest lifespan of all the races

and are also known for there Xenophobic nature towards all races (Yes this includes the High-Elves)
