Name: (You have one of these, right?) Age: (Generally measured in years) Gender: (Usually either male or female) Species: (Read the Species hider for a list of available species) Appearance: (Either a picture, or a nice description, please. You can have both, but don't make the picture too big.)
Bio: (Your character's history up until your first IC post. Should be at least three good paragraphs long.)
Skills/Abilities: (All non-chimera characters should use two elements, please list some skills that your character can use with the use of these elements, as well as a description of each skill, in a hider. The elements that are available for use are: Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Lava, Nature, Ice, Lightning, Ordinary, Obscurity, Null, and Darkness. Your primary element should have to do with what nation your character was born in... unless you're a shadow, in which case, it should be Darkness.)
Weaknesses: (What is your character weak to? You can have as many as you'd like, but please have at least one elemental weakness. You can also put ridiculous things such as 'chocolate' here, but it won't count towards your one-element minimum.) Other: (Anything else you'd like to say about your character, or the RP in general?)
Name: Vermont Orwell Age: 20 Gender: Male Species: Slime
Appearance: Normally a floating black and grey and opaque bubble with a diameter of 2 meters, though if needed can take on a solid form (solid for a slime).
Said form is a drake, roughly normal size for a regular standing drake. In his solid slime form Vermont has a snake-like body but with limbs and the head of a dragon, with 6 horns extending from forehead to sides of head. He is anthromorphic as a drake, though like an Eastern dragon his legs are further down his body, his limbs and quite short. His hands possesses claws (though as a slime and without spells they are purely aesthetic) and his feet are similar to those of a T-Rex's. Vermont's membrane is black, though his underside, belly and chin are dark grey.
Bio: Vermont was born as a slime in the capital of Zephyre, a bloke with two parents who always seemed to work and rarely tended to him. They weren't negligent, but he did spend a majority of his time by himself when young. Vermont's parents were citizens of Zephyr, a family with heavy associations with Zephyr. Despite this, being a slime in Zephyr was not unheard of but quite rare, so to be born in Zephyr immediately earned him some queer looks. Especially was odd was his primarily dark colouring, leading to some of his own friends to suspect whether or not his family belonged to a cult; as in, studied dark magic. Dark magic was shunned throughout the world of Gaia, being seen as the traits of evil and those with black hearts. Yet, Vermont was very kind and polite, clearly more than the people who would always ask questions and badger him. Disturbingly, his parents had distinctly white colourings, yet they treated Vermont as their own child with no problems.
For a long time, Vermont was somewhat resentful of his parents for always leaving him alone. He would always have to feed himself, clean the house and spend a majority of his time alone. Despite this, he did have a soft spot for them, since just about anyone he met would be rude and condescending in some way. Not just because he was a 'parasitic slime', but of his dark colourings. All this while he was young and still in school, only being able to afford education through his parents. He was certainly grateful for that. However, his experience in school was... checkered. As explained earlier, most pupils ended up teasing or fearing him for his possible dark magic associations, the latter he hated more. He wasn't even experienced with air magic, let alone knew anything about darkness. Even his teachers seemed to alert the principal from time to time over certain incidents, even if they were minor infractions (associated with wind magic). Vermont was never proud of his experience at school, even refusing to celebrate over excellent grades. He would occasionally experiment to see whether or not he had dark magic within him, though anything he did which was supposedly related to dark magic just made a longer-lasting 'air' blade.
Vermont left school with very little friends (good ones anyway) and a sense of regret. He began to maintain more of a solid drake form, something he liked in case of assault and self-defence (which would occasionally occur). It was at this point his parents began to retire and he had to start caring for them, asking them from time to time over his possible condition. All he could manage from them was acknowledgement that something may be off, and ignoring everyone would be the best option. Vermont worked as an apprentice, working to keep Zephyre as stable as possible to avoid turbulence and allow for precision on the capital's grounds. Though, he faced harassment from his own colleagues, who would occasionally pop him and mock him for his 'Air/Null' elemental combination.
One day, Vermont discovered from his parents a tale of a mage who was experienced with dark magic. He was shunned from the world due to Gaia's beliefs that he was evil, when he was as kind as Vermont. He would always try to help farmers by manipulating the darkness away from their crops, but they were convinced he was terrorising them and drove him away. Vermont's parents possessed the mage's old books and scrolls after his death, as they were his only friends at the time. Vermont, interested in the mage's own history decided to go through his books, inspecting them in his attic. At first, all he could understand were a few words in the book and nearly tossed it away, believing it to have cursed him a long time ago. He gradually became accustomed to the book, reading a few more words he could understand until eventually he was able to read full pages. Before long, he was going through all the mage's possessions, without his parents' knowledge.
Vermont became convinced he was somehow related to the mage, considering how he was able to manipulate shadows and realise what his 'air' blade was actually made out of. He was able to dim all the lights in his house, until even daylight couldn't be seen. While excited, he knew the implications of such knowledge - revealing his second element would be dangerous to him and his family, and he realised he wasn't able to go outside in the daylight anymore unless he had a cloud over himself. Even more shockingly, the last of the mage's possessions revealed him to be his uncle. He was definitely sure he wasn't born illegitimately since even his own father wasn't aware of any siblings in his family.
Regardless, Vermont became more interested in his uncle's teachings, almost... addicted to this sudden knowledge. He was very proud of having a family member stand up against the rules of the world, but he was desperate to find out more about darkness magic. He also had a lot of spare time, as Vermont was made redundant due to intermittent power losses, causing Zephyre to enact stricter conditions on electricity - such as stability. Packing his bags and preparing to leave Zephyre, Vermont was going to find out more about his uncle and therefore himself. Where would he start, however? His old uncle's house. All the way in the nation of Natura...
Skills/Abilities: Air/Darkness - most spells and abilities are going to be generalised and made up on the go, though certain skills stick out from others. Some abilities are unlisted due to being species abilities (ie being a slime allows you to get anywhere)
-"Air Blade"/Shadow Blade - as a starting attack, Vermont can summon a blade of "air" which can be used slash through enemies. Strangely enough, it doesn't work well in light, and lasts MUCH longer than a typical blade of air. Said blade can be used without actually holding it, though for maximum potential holding the blade is the best option.
-Airblast - depending on the strength of the Airblast, this can either push enemies and projectiles away or be so powerful that you can expect bones and bodies to break.
-Black Ooze - being a dark slime, Vermont can infect and lace enemies with poisonous slime. Said enemies will continue carrying the slime and be prone to hallucinations and delusions unless healed. If no attempts are made to resist the effects, Vermont will actually be able to absorb enemies infected... though, this is usually frowned upon and never affects self-aware enemies.
-Dark Disguise - bending air and light using darkness, Vermont can attempt to shapeshift and appear differently to himself, usually in the disguise of an enemy. This doesn't work well against enemies who are alert or up-close, however.
-Swamp Daze - using the power of both air and darkness, an area in a certain radius will be covered by fog and haunting darkness. Whilst the size of the field can change, the general rule is that the bigger the field gets, the weaker the effects are. The effects are worsened with Black Ooze however, almost becoming a living nightmare for enemies.
Weaknesses: Vermont has a weakness towards Ordinary/light magic, which counteracts most of his spells. This may also include other spells associated with light, i.e. fire and lightning. Pure daylight will weaken him, though he usually casts some clouds over himself.
Other: 'Anything else you'd like to say about your character, or the RP in general? No. Well, where's the stuff on the accents and description of regions, eh?'
Name: Erion Silverwind ‘Letendre’ Age: 22 Gender: Male Species: Gryphon, of type Snow Leopard and Grey Falcon Appearance: Erions back part is of a white and black spotted coloring. His head is one of a gray falcon, with his front legs being those of it also. He has large wings of a gray falcon, which his feathers are strangely enough spotted.
Bio: Erion Letendre, from the rich Letendre family of Larmes d'un Oiseau de Mer, a gryphon that seem to have straight out from his families normal elements. You see, Erion’s family was well known to have great control over ice magic, being able to freeze over large quantity of water, giving a possibility for some merchants to build over these temporary land masses, as well as permitting Erion’s family to set up shop and actually prepare fish based meals, mostly sushi and such. Every member of the family from way back had mastered using ice magic, passing down generation to generation. That is… until Erion. You see, Erion was never able to actually use ice magic. At a young age, his family tried to go and teach him how to use it, like each generation before him. This though, did not happen. Erion was unable to form any ice, as much as he worked on it, he could only make water forms. This made the family be disappointed in Erion, who felt bad. His father named William, who was the one that owned the riches, blamed Erion’s mother, named Cassie, saying that she cursed him, that she wasen’t a true ice specialist like she worked so hard to be. This made tensions happen in the family, fights break out and such.
Then one day, it was enough. His father insulted Erion and his mother again, saying he was going to leave them with nothing. This made Erion snap, cause his mother worked so hard on being a great cook. When his father used his ice magic to strike at his mother for all this, Erion got in front and… formed a strange shield which blocked the attack completely. His father was surprised by this, before Erion sent this new energy at him in the form of a large bolt of what seemed to be black energy. His father was hit by this, and tried again to attack, only to feel like his magic was unstable. Then Erion formed a large hammer out of water and was about to strike his father, but his mother suddenly stopped him. She looked at him with sad eyes, before Erion calmed down, the water hammer dropping on the floor. His father slowly got up, scared now, as Erion’s mother looked at him mad. “After all this time, you though that ice magic was the only thing important, and not even your own family…. You should be ashamed of yourself!” she said, before walking to him mad. “It is over, I am taking my things and half your things for having tried to attack me like that. If you try to stop me, you will regret it!” she says before walking towards the treasury of the family, giving sign to Erion to fallow, who did just that. After taking what they could, they left, the father scared of what happened. He could not go and tell the authorities, he tried to attack them, and with the sound that had gone in the house of his voice, they would probably believe Erion’s mother more than him. So it ended there. They moved on to a smaller city, to continue their lives, his mother making food and Erion helping out, even taking care of some people that tried to leave without paying for their food. As time gone by, Erion wanted to try to find his own path. He had learned how to prepare food well from his mother, but by using water magic instead. He wanted to honor his mother’s family name instead, using it instead of his old family name. To travel the world… this is what he was going to do. And that is how Erion started his journey.
Skills/Abilities: Water/Null. -Water Form Weapons: With his magic, Erion is able to form water and make weapons out of it, The bigger the weapon, the harder it is. -Crushing Wave: With his magic, he is able to create a large wave of water and send it to his enemies. -Geyser Eruption: With enough concentrating, Erion is able to bring the water from deep underground and burst it upwards under the enemy. -Nullifying bolt: With his null magic, he is able to throw a bolt that once it hits, destabilise the magic of the person temporarily, and possibly damage the person. -Null Shield: Create a shield of null energy to block incoming magic attacks. Water and ice magic is more blocked then other types (for now). -Nullifying water: With his magic, he is able to create water that can actually heal wounds, making them seem like they never happen.
Weaknesses: Lightning... he is both scared of lightning and vulnerable to it, apart when he has a strong enough Null shield up. Other: Not really

Name: Ganymede Age: 31 Gender: Female Species: Phoenix Appearance: Ganymede is a swan-like phoenix. She's roughly 4'7" long. She has mostly white feathers and her bill is black, going to the end of the bill. She has blue eyes and a callick in the feathers near the back of her head. Her webbed feet are black. Her tailfeathers are white as well. Bio: When she was hatched on the island of Larmes d'un Oiseau de Mer, she was the child of a priest. Her mother was an expert in the art of healing, and when she grew to about 5 years of age, her father taught her that all problems, no matter how large or small, can be resolved without conflict. Someone wants to pick on you? Just let them and respond calmly. Afterwards, talk to them about their day. And one big rule; Always, no matter what they've done, forgive and learn from their mistakes. She cherished this thought process which let her easily gain friends of the port city of Larmes. Ganymede aspired her father and was very interested in how he healed the sick and helped those with injuries. When her father noticed that she was watching him closely with every healing, he offered to teach her how to do such things. She first learned how to deal quickly with scrapes and minor cuts, then moved onto illnesses, self-healing, and larger cuts and broken bones and such as she aged. She loved the feeling of healing people and seeing the smiles on their faces was payment enough. One day, while roaming the streets, she saw a homeless dragon sitting on the sidewalk. She approached him, asking if she could help in any way, but before she could get a word out, he leaped up and went to attack with razor-sharp claws, but she screamed and flew away, escaping the deranged dragon on the sidewalk. She asked her father a question after some serious thinking about the matter. She didn't injure the dragon, but she wanted to learn how to deal with something if a fight was unavoidable no matter what. Her father thought she was silly, but after hearing about the attack he agreed to sign her up for self defense training. She took classes every other day for 6 months and became well trained in the event of a fight that was unavoidable. She hoped to never need this training, but it was better to be safe than to be sorry. After she was fully mature, she decided to leave her father and mother in search of new land and new friends, and her dream was to make a hospital where she could put her healing training not only to use, but to the test! She went first to Natura because she heard of the many different types of herbs and medicines that can be made there, and plans to soon head to Zephyr.
Skills/Abilities: Water/Ordinary
She can spit out pure water, whether it be a little trickle to having the power of a fire hose. She can change the temperature of the water from boiling hot to barely above ice cold. She usually leaves it a little chilly to help treat burns, but if need be, she can use it to help fend off enemies.
Ordinary: She can heal scrapes, cuts, bruises, and minor poisoning, paralysis, or 2nd degree burns. She can heal herself, at a high energy cost. She also knows how to fight, but she most likely won't be using this unless she's forced to fight.
Weaknesses: She is weak to gaia and very weak to thunder. She dislikes fighting in general, and while her self-healing spell is useful, it will drain her of a good deal of energy, making her unable to heal for a while.
Name: Singed Strange Age: 39 Gender: Male Species: Dragon
Bio: Based on his appearance, one would assume that Singed was some sort of brutal monster, one with little brain mass who fought every chance he got. This would be wrong. He is, however fucking nuts. For his entire life, Singed had always been a special child. One that would have made for prime bully fodder...if the bullies weren't terrified of him. One of the first really blatant signs of his insanity was his inability to remember the names of anyone, and instead choosing to call people either by their title, or Steve (for males) and Jenny (for females). Now you would think, you'd really think that with a mind this messed up, he clearly had to come from a broken family, but nope. His family was mind numbingly normal. Worried about their poor insane son, Singed's parents took him to counseling. Not even five minutes later, the therapist ran out of the room screaming. To this day, no one is entirely sure what happened in that room. And so, Singed's childhood continued without any attempts to 'fix' it, mostly because he had been blacklisted from every psychiatric facility
Despite having a natural affinity for Lava magic because of his heritage, Singed ignored it in favor of Obscurity, because, in his words, it would make him one step closer to godhood. Using his affinity for Lava magic with Obscurity magic lead to some rather unique results. Which the general public still hasn't decided if it is a crime against nature, or just mind numbingly weird. As scary as he was, Singed wasn't violent at all. In fact, nothing short of an attack on his person could get him to respond with violence. This was the sole reason why he hadn't been locked up for public safety.
Singed spent most of his life learning how to use his Obscurity magic, neglecting his Lava magic training in the process. This has left his skill with his natural magic nearly nonexistent. His many experiments have also left his neighborhood deathly afraid of corn. He insists that he's a scientist, yet he doesn't act like one. all of his experiments seem to have no greater purpose, and in fact look more like some who's board just messing around. While one might jump to the conclusion that these 'experiments' are just a front to hurt people, said argument would quickly fall apart upon learning that Singed's most request test subject is himself. He might be crazy, but he's still harmless enough to leave alone. If anything, he makes the neighborhood safer. Not many are willing to rob someone who's so close to that crazy guy and his corn...not after the last one.
One of his more crazy forms of crazy is his talking to inanimate object. He will sometimes have complete conversations with them, and sometimes even get into arguments with them. This can lead him to destroying said object over whatever insult he believes it gave him. In fact, he once tried to torture a garden gnome, because he thought it was a forward scout for the cookie elf branch of the Candyland army. He tried all sorts of things; from locking it into a box, to locking it into a box with the corn, to playing good cop bad cop with Turtle, to exposing him to music by teenage artists, yet nothing worked. Eventually, he realized he wouldn't be getting information out of him. So while he greatly respected him, Steve the elf/gnome died hot lava. After that, Singed found the Candyland army's forward base (a small patch of plants growing near Magma) and killed all of them with corn and spiders.
Even though he was full blown crazy, his parents never resented Singed for that. If anything, they were more worried about him then their own reputation. This was something that Singed easily took notice of, so he still retains a healthy relationship with them to this day. Despite never having any sort of official job, Singed always seemed to have enough money to feed himself. Singed being Singed, no one was brave enough to ask him where he kept getting money. If someone did work up the nerve to ask him what he was doing with his time, he would answer with something along the lines of 'unlocking the secrets of the world' although he wouldn't go into detail about just what that entailed. Eventually one day, he packed up his things and left his life long home of Magma. When asked where he was going and why, Singed would simply reply by calling whoever asked an ignorant fool and go about his business.
Elements; Lava/Obscurity
Corn: Singed's favorite ability. drawing a 3D image of a small pile of corn with lava. This drawing will then change into an actual pile of corn. Singed can then order the corn to either 'feast' or 'mate'. What difference there is between these two orders (if any) is unknown, but they make the corn shoot at the target and burrow into them. Once inside, the corn will begin to expel lava.
Turtle: By drawing a 3D image of a turtle with lava, Singed brings to life a cute and friendly little turtle. Once stepped on however, the turtle will quickly say 'hello' before exploding into a plume of lava
Squirrel: By drawing a 3D image of a squirrel with lava, Singed brings to life a fluffy squirrel...who will turn into a rabid monster on command. Once he has ordered it to, the squirrel will maul it's target, it's eyes red, and breathing lava.
Spider: By drawing a 3D image of a spider with lava, Singed brings to life a tiny spider...that shoots out lava instead of string.
Mundane object creation: Singed can also use his Obscurity magic to make more mundane things. However, he can't make anything to mechanically complex that he hasn't made a special spell for.
Weaknesses: His elemental weakness is Ice, however his other weaknesses are much more note worthy. They include, but aren't limited to; the number four, butter, orchestral music, getting stabbed in the eye, foreigners (sometimes), being killed, and bubbles.
Name: David Mason Age: 22 Gender: Male Species: Phoenix Appearance: He stands at a somewhat short 3'4" tall, and he, oddly enough, looks like a "true phoenix", but with mostly green feathers instead of red/orange. His tail feathers, and chest feathers are brown, and he has a crest of feathers with the same coloration on his head, as well. His legs are a black color, and covered in spikes resembling thorns, which, oddly enough, never seem to hurt him when he rests. The underside of his feet are covered in similar thorns, though, unlike the weaker thorns on his legs, these thorns are as tough as his talons. His beak is somewhat curved, and is a black color, while his eyes are the same brown color as his tail feathers.
Bio: His parents were stonemasons, who were one of the few magical creatures that actually lived and operated out of the badlands. They typically supplied various adventurers and passers-by with shelter, as well as food, given that they'd always move around in the badlands, building a new home every time they did, and leaving a few edible plants, as well as a home behind whenever they did. They remained unknown for years, with their work often just thought of as some sort of 'wonder of nature', or just a simple rarity, that is, until they actually visited one of their old homes, only to find a gryphon, supposedly from Natura, already living there. They explained that they've been building these homes for years, and he's the first creature they've seen actually use any of them. The gryphon, seeing potential in their work, led them back to Natura, specifically, Solum Vis, where they lived for a few years until they were told to move to the new capitol, which was underground. It was there, and then when David, himself was hatched... yes, only a few days after they moved into the new capitol of Natura, where the family would spend the rest of their years, though, they would occasionally head out of the underground area to fly.
David worked as an apprentice stonemason under his parents, and whatever tutors they could find... and while his parents usually built entire cave-houses using their magic, all David ever did for these first few years as an apprentice was make a few bricks, or reshape a slightly rough rock into a smoother rock. He, much like most of the population of Natura, had both gaia-based magic, and nature-based magic, and whenever he wasn't paying attention to his work, which was often, he usually daydreamed about living anywhere but in a cave, he'd accidentally have a plant grow out of whatever it is he was making, which, of course, would cause whichever apprentices were nearby to laugh at him. Most of his peers were dragons of varying types, and they'd usually pick on David for being what he was... even the wyvern kid picked on him from time to time, even if she was the closest thing he ever had to a friend. David... honestly wasn't nearly as good a mason as his parents were, and he wasn't exactly excited to take their job once his apprenticeship was over. He heard that soldiers got the see the rest of the world, and, though he didn't like fighting, he did want to see the rest of the world.
The day after, David was, as usual, working on some brick or another that was probably going to be used for something. He didn't particularly care about this brick, but he did hear that the current guardian was going to be here for some sort of important mission, so, he tried to make his brick as good as he could get it, though, unfortunately for David, he was still working on it when the guardian, an old gryphon who, even in his advanced age looks as if he could kill you on a moment's notice, arrived, which, of course, distracted him for long enough to have a plant grow in the brick. The other apprentices started laughing at David, as per the norm by now, but the guardian didn't do as such, instead, he took a look at the plant in the brick, cutting one of its thorny vines, and used some sort of weird magic on the green liquid that spilled out of the cut. "I wouldn't be laughing if I were you... you apprentices DO know what this is, right?" the apprentices shook their heads, as if they didn't know, and, of course, David didn't know, either. "It's a prickled screamer... its poison is well-known for causing pain, and causing its victims to scream in agony, as well as leaving its victims just at the brink of death before vanishing from their system... it's a rare plant that imitates the edible prickle flower, and a difficult plant to make via magic," the guardian explained to the room, and the apprentices started talking among each other, until the guardian announced that he was here to choose candidates for a new guardian. While the others tried to impress the guardian, David was chosen, and, oddly enough, flown to Solum Vis for his training.
David... wasn't actually all that great at non-magical fighting, initially, and he didn't seem to learn as quickly as the other students, however, when it came to magic, he was only surpassed by a gryphon who seemed to be part crow and part panther... just as well, as the gryphon, in addition to the usual gaia magic, seemed to use a weird, almost invisible power. David heard about some creatures being capable of using our own shadows against us, but he passed it off as some sort of myth, or a wives tale, yet that 'myth' seems to describe almost exactly this... the power of shadows will be hidden, those who use it are afraid of being captured... you have to seek the magic, yourself if you are to finger someone as a shadow user, but, beware, the shadow user will know stronger magic than thee... and they won't have any morals, or honor, beasts that they are. Unfortunately, the gryphon noticed David staring at him, and he started pleading that David never tell anyone about this, that his shadow magic should remain a secret, that he isn't such a bad guy, but David didn't listen to him. David told the guardian all about the shadowy powers that the other gryphon had... and the guardian didn't do anything, that is, other than tell David that he already knew about that, and that now, with what David just did, the only way he could be a guardian is if he beat the other would-bes in the final test, which was going to take place in about an hour.
Screaming Needle: David can use his nature magic conjure up a small needle that contains prickly screamer poison, and launch said needle at an enemy to deal damage, as well as poison them... this poison will not KO its victim, but it may also cause them to miss a turn while under its effects.
Stone Shard: David can use his gaia magic to create several sharp stones under his enemy's feet, said stones can also occasionally come up from the ground to hit a taller/flying enemy.
Cleanse: David can use his nature magic to heal small cuts, as well as rid the body of any biologically-based poison... this has no effect on poisons from chemicals, or from darkness magic.
Gaia/Nature magic: David can learn other magical spells that can be considered either gaia or nature in, er, nature. He can also create things from these magic types, though he's not exactly great at creating stone-based things.
Weaknesses: David is not a fan of fire... or lava, for that matter. Basically, his feathers are extremely flammable, and his skin burns somewhat easily without them... or if they're on fire, of course.
Other: Uh... yeah, THIS RP IS TEH WORSTEST!... kidding, of course, it's my RP, lol.

Name: Palythius Age: 22 Gender: Male Species: Dragon Appearance: He's jet black with white eyes that have a very slight bluish tint. He's about 5'4" tall because his parents were a bit shorter than average, and he usually sports a fire-resistant jumpsuit to help with the heating up from running too fast. He has a pair of goggles to deal with airborne particles as well. He's a drake, and typically has a small mallet with him in case he needs to use his powers violently. He has a slender build and his wings are good for gliding. His tail is a bit shorter, not touching the ground.
Bio: Palythius lived a few kilometers out from Verbrenn in a little village that was home to 200 different fire elementals that all worked in a gold mine. It was a village that was made because of the discovery of a vein of gold in that area, so they went mining ores from deep in the volcano and underground, and they were very good at their craft, too. Every month they would pull out an average of 5 grams of gold. Palythius was a miner in the village, starting at the age of 16, even though it was unsafe for a minor to mine in these particular mineshafts. He would usually find a few milligrams of gold every week, but mostly just found silver and coal in the mines. Not that these were useless, but they never impressed his parents, who weren't the type to wait for very long, either. Every time he found some gold, he would sprint as fast as he could back into the village, consulting the treasury and reporting his earnings and how much he found to his parents, which sometimes would get them to look up and notice him, but never be too proud because even they found more than Palythius in a week. After Palythius grew to the age of 22, an unrelenting and unexplained blizzard had swept across the village, forcing everyone to abandon the town. He moved into Verbrenn, but that didn't mean his parents stopped expecting him to find work. He began work as an industry worker, but he didn't like to go through the heavy process of making twenty swords and only being able to ship out 5 because his other swords, even though being sharper than a razorblade, weren't sharp enough. He wanted to go to the air nation to compete in different races and such, but he wasn't as good as anyone in the air nation in terms of how fast he could fly, and races on foot were unheard of practically anywhere, other than maybe on some dirt paths in Gaia, so he settled on repair and maintenance. Because of the working conditions, his jumpsuit was heat-proof, making it so that his torso and arms and legs were at a constant temperature. After a while, Palythius did find a way to travel to the air nation and pick up some goggles, and he sprinted the entire way there, but something seemed... off about his running. Not that he was super slow, but that while he was running at his normal pace, other things seemed to be going about half as fast as normal. He also noticed that every time he stopped for a breather, it felt like he hit a wall and promptly had all the air in his lungs forced out of him, but he continued on because it seemed to get him there in less than two days, the normal for travel from the capitols. He was confused by this strange ability. He knew most species had two forms of elemental capabilities, but... this was plain weird. Was it possibly the mythical element of Obscurity? He was excited by his discovery, and began training hard, but every time it seemed like he hit a wall after 75 meters of sprinting, going at around 112 kilometers/hour.
Skills/Abilities:
Obscurity: He can double his speed and reaction time, making it, to him, seem like other things are slowed down, but at the cost of a very quick loss of stamina after sprinting. When he runs like this he seems to blur a little and leave a slight trail behind him. He can currently travel at 112 km/h (70 mph) or 31.1112 m/s (102 ft. per second)
Fire: He can breathe fire. Pretty self-explanatory.
