Garie, Roanpur

Garie moved through the food studded city with ease, hardly bothered or concerned with the odd surroundings, besides what it said about the being that had made it. She didn't need to eat physical food, so she didn't bother with it. She was more interested the people, whom she observed while moving from one location to the next.

Most of them were boring, hardly worth her notice. They couldn't beat a Gear user, an Alca-Noise, much less anything else that she might throw at them. Simply useful for sources of power and nothing more. She moved past candy cane trees, transformed street lamps and the like, grimacing at the ugly displays, and very much wishing that Carol was here. The alchemist could put the world straight.

At last she did find something interesting, and took up a position on a high perch as she watched the group of people deal with the attacking food animals. They were quickly dealt with, and she hummed to herself as she watched the show. Now these, these people were powerful. Perhaps they might even prove as fun as the Gear users did.

So, she sat and watched the encounter below, eager to see what happened.

Souji Mitsuka - Mahora

"Whoa!" Souji watched with growing awe as the fight went on, new figures introducing themselves and breaking out all sorts of powers to take down the giant taco thing. He would not deny the fact that he was impressed, but he was still sure that he could take them as Tailred. Speaking of which, he noticed a distinct lack of twintails amongst the new arrivals. A pity.

With a series of devastating attacks the thing went down, with the impromptu group still cooperating well to deal with it. He was glad to have not been needed for it, but next time they would definitely see the power of twintails!

Now that the thing was dead, he ran back up to the group, visibly impressed and no longer worried about painful death on that spear now that other people were around. "That was incredible," he said with heartfelt sincerity, looking over all of them, specifically the newcomers. "Who are you guys?"

Tachibana Hibiki

Hibiki took waking up in a strange city mysteriously in stride. To be entirely truthful, it could be because it wasn't the first time she'd woken up somewhere that she hadn't expected to be, but since that had been in a hospital it was already an improvement. More importantly, though, was that she had been in class as far as she could remember. So to go from trying to pay attention to a lesson to an unfamiliar city full of food presented a clear and immediate explanation... she'd fallen asleep before lunch and her mind was making up for an empty stomach.

Satisfied with her explanation for the apparent weirdness going on, the schoolgirl brushed dust from her uniform and set about looking for the food that would have to be here somewhere, if this was her dream, in amongst the rather empty campus. It didn't take much looking around to find what looked like the best candidate: a tree festooned with bento, along with a few others who'd obviously had similar ideas. The inexplicably purple creature almost made Hibiki worry about Noise for a second, but the lack of disintegrating things, its obvious solidness, and the lack of glowing ruled it out.

So she went straight for the bento, and the rice that would undoubtedly be inside, only thinking to ask the apparent dream-occupant that was in the tree at the last second, with a nervous laugh, "Is this your tree?"

DIO & Juri– Near Hotel California (Collab Post)

Arms crossed and leaning back, DIO viewed Juri's onslaught against the Hippotatomus with a critical and observant eye, missing nothing, least of all the amaranth shine from her left eye. Was it evidence of her powers' usage, or perhaps the source? Either way, the eyes were valuable targets. Though he hoped to consider her a comrade, the vampire did not restrain himself from imagining ways to inflict pain upon this woman. Juri's mad storm of kicks truly did capture his interest. Though the powers of Stand users were infinitely variable, complex, or powerful, few engaged in direct, ruthless combat with their opponents, instead relying on tricks, spells, and stipulations of their Stand powers to tip the odds in their favor. An ally with a purely physical talent, and an excellent one by the looks of her, would be a great benefit.

DIO clapped his hands twice, congratulatory in a playfully mocking manner. "I like you." From him, it was high praise. However much he did like her, however, he -as a vampire, more evolved than the apes called humans- would not hesitate to establish his rightful dominance over her. "It is said that in the west humans use papers and machines as compatibility tests. The true medium of the soul, however, is combat. Before we begin our own test, know that I, DIO, am beyond you. If you please me, I will awaken within you a great power, one that will stand beside you always as mine does beside me." The World appeared beside him and planted its feet into the ground, causing foot-shaped imprints to appear in the sidewalk. He meant this to frighten and intrigue her, to arouse within Juri every fighting instinct within her. For DIO, nothing but her best would do. "Shall we dance?"

Juri could not help but be frightened and intrigued by the vampire. She also couldn't help but be aroused, both for battle and for the vampire himself. This was someone like her. Someone who saw the fun in death and destruction. Someone who played by his own rules. Even though this was supposedly a mere spar, something she never liked doing, he very well could kill her if he is unsatisfied. She already knew he was the better fighter from the moment he killed that ridiculous beast, but she had to try to kill him in battle. She wasn't going to give her life to someone who couldn't prove himself a far superior opponent. Juri knew that if she lost, she would either die or become his.

"Ora ora ora!" Juri launched herself forward beginning with her Fuharenjin, a flurry of kicks which produced a flurry of purplish ki projectiles all aimed straight at DIO. Before her, leaning idly back against nothing with arms crossed, DIO bared his teeth. "A strange battle cry. But it's useless, useless, useless!" In the space of a fleeting instant, he appeared in front of the purple fusillade, in precisely the same pose. "Come on, then!" Juri replied by running at him and unleashing a barrage of mostly kicks and a few punches at DIO. These weren't powered up by the Feng Shui Engine, but still powerful all the same. Once she had attacked DIO long enough, her left eye flashed again and now her barrage of attacks were powered by the Feng Shui Engine. However, instead of being merely punches and kicks, Juri added in her Fuhajin attack, firing off purplish ki projectiles from her feet with each use. DIO, having lazily blocked whichever strikes were convenient for him and simply taken the rest, was taken unaware by the tenacity of Juri's empowered strikes. His stillness broken, he was forced to retreat several steps, now avidly trying to intercept the heels, knees, and shins thrown by his opponent. Blood began to seep from his nose, and still this madwoman attacked. By the end of the barrage of attacks, Juri was breathing heavily. She put all her energy into her barrage of kicks, projectiles, and punches in hopes of killing the vampire in front of her.

Whereas Juri sucked deep for air, fatigued by her insane onslaught, DIO's breath came light and slow. Though he felt acute pain, he felt no fear, for his last suspicion had been put to rest. The ki of this martial artist, though a vital energy manifested from her life force, did not have the solar properties of hamon. Chuckling, the vampire smoothed out his wild hair, and remarked, "I'll give you a little credit." The next instant, he disappeared.

From mere centimeters behind Juri came the voice of DIO, close enough for him to feel the heat of her body and for her to feel the chill of his. "URIIIIIIIIII!" he cried as he brought his own knee into the small of Juri's back. Beneath his skin, his veins pumped with blood colder than the sting of midwinter, and on contact the ice spread through her, not freezing her but numbing her nerves and muscles--instant hypothermia. Laughing, DIO grabbed her by the arm and pulled her over his shoulder, crunching her into the admittedly-brittle cracker sidewalk before raising his arms. "Mu..." he began, clenching fingers into fists above his head,, "DAmudamudamudamudamudamudamudamuda!" he roared as he let loose a maelstrom of punches, smashing Juri flat beneath it. Crumbs flew every way as he buried her, the movement of his arms faster than the pistons of an engine.

Even though she felt only a bit of pain from anything but the freezing knee to her back because of the hypothermia, Juri knew her body was taking an utter decimation. She was certainly going to feel all of this later, should she survive. She had to risk it... Dangerous overclocking of the Feng Shui Engine in her left eye. Her left eye sparked purple with power, and licking her lips, she grabbed one of DIO's arms mid-punch with both hands. Grinning madly with pleasure, Juri pulled DIO's arm with all the might of the Feng Shui Engine powering it. The vampire's eyes widened. "B...bakana!" With a loud break, Juri knew that she had torn off the arm she had grabbed and let it drop. Juri then kicked DIO in the chest with both legs to knock the vampire off of her, once more with the full might of the Feng Shui Engine. He gave short bellow of pain and stumbled backward, barely managing to prevent an indignified flop.

Soon Juri stood up, not knowing the extent of the damage to her body and the Feng Shui Engine, but still smirking at DIO. Her eye stopped sparking and shut down. Her body bloodied to all hell, Juri spoke to DIO.

"I like you," Juri struggled to speak to the vampire as if each word hurt to say. "You are worthy to take me."

Juri then dropped to the ground unconscious. Her body, especially with the Feng Shui Engine shut off, could only stay up for so long.

The World stepped over her body, holding its master's arm in its hand. DIO held the ruined stub out for his stand to reattach the arm, and in only a moment he was whole again. The vampire flexed the appendage to get the essence flowing again, and knelt over Juri' body. With his fingernail he made a small cut on her cheek below her left eye, into which he allowed two drops of his own blood to fall. Not enough to turn her or even really heal her, it would nevertheless restore her consciousness and her ability to walk. DIO stood back up to his full height, crossed his arms, and waited.

Juri moaned and her eyes fluttered open. Realizing from the pain that was still in her body she was still alive, Juri pushed herself up off of the ground and had a look of genuine surprise when she saw DIO with both his arms again. She knew her power was completely spent and that their fight had effectively ended.

"You really are something beyond me, aren't you?" This had been said without the seductive tone or smirk, but with the tone of someone acknowledging someone superior. However, soon enough, the seductive, sadistic smirk returned. "I should be glad I pleased you enough to remain alive."

"Hmph. You did well enough, for a human." A new thought had been within DIO for a few moments now. If Juri had been an enemy, he would not have hesitated to kill and drain her then and there. If she'd been a mere potential ally, a flesh bud to keep her under his control without otherwise changing her would have sufficed. Raising her with his own blood, however...why had he felt compelled to do it? Perhaps it was the belief that nothing he did in this bizarre world ultimately mattered to him. "In fact, you may very well be the strongest woman in...The World." A flash announced the appearance of DIO's stand. Without any warning whatsoever it bore down on Juri, came within an inch of her face, and vanished. DIO narrowed his eyes to see what would happen.

Juri flinched as a flash of light had summoned a strange being whose came within an inch of her face before disappearing, though this was less because she didn't expect to die, but more because she didn't expect DIO to summon help. Juri calmed down when it vanished from whence it came. Juri did smirk a bit at being called 'the strongest woman in the world.' That's what that accursed Interpol Agent always claimed about herself, so getting acknowledgement that she was the strongest instead of Chun-Li actually gave her a genuine smile.

"I thought you were the type who was beyond using tricks like summoning for help," Juri noted as she widened her left eyelid and popped out her artificial left eye to examine the damage to it with her natural right eye. Thankfully, nothing was fried, though the Feng Shui Engine will need time to reboot. She would have hated to have to use stuff from freakin' Candyland to fix it! Juri soon popped the Feng Shui Engine back into her left eye socket and blinked her eye a few times, before looking back at DIO. "Not that I have any reason to complain about tricks with this thing."

The wind had started to pick up again, and it sifted through DIO's hair, causing it to blow like bunches of golden wheat in a prairie breeze. He watched Juri inspect her eye without a trace of revulsion, instead concluding that the Feng Shui Engine did indeed have something to do with her abilities. No matter; he could hardly blame someone for wishing to go beyond the stiflingly narrow confines of humanity. "Help? No. What you saw was a projection of my own life energy, a powerful companion formed from my will. It is called a Stand, and the fact that you can see it means that you have one, too. Even after giving rise to over thirty Stands, I am always fascinated to see a new one. They are the windows to the soul." He looked past her at the horizon to witness the sun beginning to peek over it, only to be obscured by opaque clouds of cotton candy. The sight made him laugh, for nothing could have been more convenient. "Today is a fateful day!"

Mario

The ground vibrates softly as a large green pipe slowly comes out of the ground. Despite this, it made very little rubble in it's wake and stands just 5 feet tall. What would a random pipe be even doing coming out of a crowded city place like this? But the better question is... who and/or what made that thing appear?

"YAHOO!"

Suddenly, a man pops out of the pipe, left fist in the air and lands with a small thud. He seemed kinda short, but he happens to wear blue overalls, a red shirt, and a red hat with a white spot writing out the word "M" in the center. His nose is quite big and squishy, but has a fabulous-looking mustache. My god... can it be? Can it be one of the most legendary heroes of all the multiverse? Savior of Princesses, Savior of Worlds, even the Savior of Galaxies! No eyes would be deceived by him. This is none other then...

SUPER MARIO!

It was a pretty long trip for him to get here. Sure an average warp pipe can transport someone to almost anywhere they desire, but alas it still takes time for one to get there. It has been roughly a month since he arrived in this multiverse, and already he is slowly becoming accustomed to the environment. Yet the thought of his brother, Luigi, his lover, Princess Peach, and all of his friends still linger in his mind. Mario wants to go back home, to his own universe, but can't at the moment. He'll need to find a giant warp pipe that could possibly get him back... if anymore of these existed. After all, that was the same way he got transported here.

But he's Super Mario...

He traveled the world of the Mushroom Kingdom...

He traveled through galaxies.. TWICE...

And in the end, he always came back home victorious.

He can do this. He can get back home. He can~

*Grumble*

...find something to eat.

Being in a city such as this is easy for him to find food. And he so happens to find an Italian fast food place to get a quick bite... which happens to be almost right next that that tree festooned with bento. Glad he was able to find a place to eat, he quickly goes in, orders a plate of spaghetti and comes out with a delicious dish of hot, steaming pasta. He sits down in a chair, facing towards the tree while whistling a tune, and begins to eat, seemingly unaware of the girl, Tachibana, who was nearby.

Jax - The Bento Tree

The Grandmaster waved his hand to the monk, "Nah it's fine, I got this." With that Jax vaulted himself upwards toward the tree. Elegantly he swiped at a box of bento, catching it perfectly in his hand and sailing back towards the ground. He sat down and opened the vox to reveal an assortment of delicious foods. In the middle of the plate was a huge serving of fried rice mixed with teriyaki chicken and under it their seemed to be a lettuce leaf. On the sides of the plate Jax noticed some shrimp, a personal favorite, to his right he saw possibly the best thing he had seen this year; Ramen. This Bento box looked to be something you'd only see in Ionia, it was the specialty of most vendors their and each one of them seemed to serve something different.

Jax had always gone to the Ionian market for food ever since he was a child, whether it was after or on the way to school the young Grandmaster would gorge himself daily with fine Ionian cuisine. The best part about it was he got a discount sometimes because he had taken care of the various bullies around town. After reminiscing a bit he took a big whiff of the Bento itself, the combination of food was to be hunted by Kindred for.

Jax had lost himself for a moment but regained his standings because he had forgotten the most important thing about Bento boxes; chopsticks. The Grandmaster turned around to look at the tree to see if his hunch was correct and, it was. Chopstick Branches. He couldn't contain himself as he ripped off two small ones near the base of the tree. Clicking them together to simulate a beat Jax was about to dig in but realized that it was rude to just eat something in front of someone and not introduce yourself. The Grandmaster turned to the boy and the monk, nonchalantly he said: "Name's Jax. I'm known as the Grandmaster at Arms. Somehow I got warped into this weird place, I guess I'm not the only one who's sane! Jax took a piece of shrimp and slipped it under and opening at the bottom of his mask, slowly he chewed and enjoyed the wonderful fishy taste and the almost heavenly texture.

After finishing his bite he continued, "I come from Ionia and I honestly thought that you two were from their too! Then I thought that everyone here had been warped in from different worlds, so I could be wrong. You both honestly do look Ionian though, you've even got the clothing down! But I can tell you're not from my world." Jax took another bite of his shrimp, "Everyone from Ionia seems to have this thing about their eyes, their dominantly one color and in the middle we don't really have that black thing in the middle. Demacians, Noxians and Piltie's do and you have no idea what I'm talking about dont you? Alright let's start over. Ahem! Name's Jax, Grandmaster at Arms. What's yours?" Jax asked as he put his chopsticks in the box for a second.

Nobuo – Mahora

Nobuo just blinked and nodded.

“Well, I guess it wouldn’t beat finding out that your entire exploits were just a TV Show to be enjoyed by thousands.” Nobuo said to Twilight. And that was the last thing he said to her.

072 – Roanapur

In one alleyway in Roanapur, there was a guy who… didn’t fit there. You had your evil vampires and psychotic fighters, but then you had an otaku. An otaku wandered the streets of Roanapur, now filled with food, and perhaps the weather being cloudy with a chance of meatballs.

Nobuo – Mahora, Day 1

"PIIINKIIIIIIEEEE!"

Nobuo awoke to a shriek. He jumped up from the covers and screamed out too. He looked around. “Eh!? Someone killed Pink!?” Nobuo muttered. “It’s Gaoranger all over again!” The memories of the Gaorangers dying at the hands of a powerful foe played in his head. However, he realized that it was just Twilight having a night terror.

Nobuo got up and looked at the outside as well.

“W-W-WAAAAAAAAH!” He looked around and noticed all the foodish loves that could ever be eaten. He ran forth and began to eat what he can… preferably some sweets.

072 – Roanapur, Day 1

Kyu, or rather, 072, had no idea where he was. First minute he was dying in the arms of the Kamen Rider, the next he was in this harbor town. That’s when heard the sound of fighting. He ran over to see Dio and Juri fighting what seemed to be food-based animals. He hid behind a conveniently placed large ribcage, the kind you see in the opening to the Flintstones, and observed the fight.

Mahora Campus- Ranma's Bento Tree

"Hm... So I might need to make up a new martial arts style to deal with the place today... Martial Arts Food Fighting..." Ranma murmured under his breath, adopting a serious countenance with his hand under his chin even though such an appearance went against what ridiculous thing came out of his mouth. "Might have to break out the Parlay Du Foie Gras techniques later in the day..." Already the boy was contemplating counterplans to the situation, though since this was Ranma Saotome after all, it would no doubt be something rather out of the box and/or wacky in both aesthetics and execution.

"I can eat a lot, but not enough like those French freaks and the best way to beat food is to eat it... so the best way to beat giant food animals might be to rip large chunks off of their body and then force feed them to each other..." More strange mutterings came from the pigtailed boy's direction for a few more moments before he got distracted by quite a few newcomers that seemed to be flocking around the bento tree. "Ah, yeah. This ain't my tree, nope. I'm just borrowing it for the moment so feel free to get anything you want from it." Smiling to the Japanese girl with dirty blonde hair, Ranma gave a small smile to her.

That was when he was asked by a guy in armor his name after something about being mistaken for Ionanian. "Ah, I ain't no Ionian. I'm Japanese, and the name's Ranma Saotome of the Saotome Musabetsu Kakuto Ryu. (Saotome School Of Indiscriminate Grappling/Anything Goes Martial Arts). I ain't no Grandmaster like you or the old letch I know, but I am pretty darn good at the Art." Indulging in the classic Saotome trait of self bragging for a moment since it was so instinctual, the boy snapped out of it since he really didn't need to protect his pride at the moment since most everyone here seemed a lot more sane than back home.

The flash and bang of a suddenly appearing pastel purple pony that was flying was enough to get the seemingly lazing boy on his feet in less time than it took to blink an eye, hands held out defensively and feet perfectly balanced on the uneven branches as his eyes regarded the strange newcomer. And the thing seemed to be eating... bacon. "..." Wondering for a moment if the bento he ate had hallucinogens thrown in, Ranma just recovered his pace as it talked about his group seeming the most sane. Really, sane and his name never held well together in the same sentence, much like oil and water. Idly, the teen thought whether the world was ending or not when he was regarded as the current poster boy for 'normal'. "Ah, yeah. It's probably a food related Challenge by that idiot in charge of the place. I ain't complaining since I love food and I love fighting, so I'll probably get to do both later on in the day." Shrugging and explaining from what little information he got from Chao.

Meanwhile, the Chinese girl in question had set up what looked to be like a large radar dish of some sort atop her eating establishment with wires hooked up and connected to a table's worth of electronics and computer screens. The tech savvy girl was currently looking through the monitors, keeping an eye on the other parts of the City to see exactly what was going on and thus how to prepare her current charges for the day with suitable information and advice. From what she saw on her screen through the eyes of her hidden cameras and other such surveillance devices was that there seemed to be quite a bit of belligerent monster like beasts in certain areas. Some were food based such as lions with manes made from spongecake. Others didn't have any semblance of food and looked more like chimaeric mixes of other creatures such as giant flying sharks with bat wings or three headed tigers. Her mouth frowned as she saw a small swarm of land based creatures slowly but steadily approach Mahora and what appeared to be a seedy port town (Roanapur) from the distance and the girl continued her monitoring of the situation.

Jade Harley

"Oh," Jade's enthusiasm deflated slightly at that. She guessed this means that he wouldn't be able to help her get home. Or point her to the nearest multidimensional transportalizer. Wait, that means he didn't know how to get home either, right? Her bright disposition returned as she grinned even more cheerfully at the boy, "Alright! Then lets find whoever it is together! Except lets not be too violent. We can try talking to him first, and if they're a huge jerk then we can punch them in the metaphorical dick. Or literal, I guess! I don't really know the anatomy of extra-dimensional beings..."

She moved her hand away from the strap of her rifle and reached over to the back of her godtier pajamas. Pulling the hood over her head, she some how managed to get her giant fluff of hair inside it and put her white dog ears through the holes of the black material. Yes, now she was ready for action. And hey, all she needed was a mask and she'd look a little superhero-y like the boy. Shame there wasn't an alchemizer around here for her to make one.

Fawful

Yesterday
It was exactly as Fawful had expected. The jigsaw puzzle nature of the city extended below ground level. Subway tunnels ran into medieval dungeons ran into storm drains ran into fallout shelters. The result was a labyrinth that would lead people in endless circles unless they took the time to map it out, in which case it could be used to cross the city quickly and covertly.
Even better, nestled somewhere in that maze was a suitable base - "Deep 13" if the label on the door was correct. It wasn't much, but it had water and electricity, living quarters, and some laboratory space, not to mention what looked like an extensive movie collection.
Fawful picked a tape at random to watch as he plotted his next move.

Today
How in this or any other world could so many movies be so completely terrible!? Had this vault's previous occupant been collecting awful films intentionally? What kind of sicko would do that?
Fawful muttered in outrage to himself as he went to his fridge, then upgraded to grumbling when he realized there was no food in his newly acquired lair. He started making his way to the surface, worrying about how exactly he was going to get his breakfast. He never carried much cash in the first place, and he had no idea if restaurants here would even accept his currency. And the idea of resorting to petty theft simply to eat was... well, it's not as if he hadn't been in that position before, but it did rub salt into the wound of how much had been ripped away from him.

Fawful's stomach rumbled as he walked up the subway entrance into daylight. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long to find something to eat, or else -

Oh.

This wouldn't take long at all.

Super Skrull - Roanapur, Day 0

In a flash of light, Kl'rt had vanished from the imperial bedchambers. A long day of politics was more tiresome than any day of battle, but being thrust into unfamiliar circumstances revitalized him. When he found he couldn't control his descent, he instead wrapped himself in a force field, fading to invisibility until he had the chance to assess his new situation. After crashing to the ground, it became clear he was on Earth, and that he wasn't the only one brought in this manner. The skrull stood in his crater, silent and invisible watching as the others dispersed and wondering how he had been brought here. Certainly, several of Earth's champions would be capable, but he couldn't think of a single one who would dare snatch him. As the Emperor, taking Kl'rt was as good as a declaration of war.

The others around him were mostly dressed just as outlandishly as the humans he was used to, but he didn't recognize any of them. Once the street had mostly cleared, Kl'rt changed his shape to that of a human. Making sure his clothing matched the style of the pedestrians in the area, he followed the majority of the new arrivals into the bar. Ordering a drink and sitting alone, he listened and observed the conversations and events that followed. A reality warper wasn't much of a surprise. It had happened before, and explained the temerity of taking powerful figures.

The explanations ended, and after everyone left the bar, Kl'rt left alone a few minutes later. What followed was an excursion into the city. He walked through the streets, searching for an area that would suit his needs, passing through a scorched alleyway, traveling by a hotel that was a bustle of activity, before eventually finding himself in a warehouse district. The seedy city had not made him wait. Within moments he was surrounded by the local toughs. They demanded his money, he refused, and they attacked. Their bravado faded in an instant; their attacks were meaningless to the Super Skrull, who still looked to them like any ordinary resident of the city.

As his assailants began to fear him Kl'rt grabbed hold of one who had instigated the situation, pulled him face to face, and transformed back to his natural appearance. "Take me... to your leader, human." The man paled, but complied. Kl'rt resumed a human form, and then spent the next hour ensuring he'd reached the top of the chain of command and ensured a more private audience. When he got there, he revealed himself but didn't depose the man, making a proposition: "You will rule this city, but I will make use of you." The thug paled. Possibly he was thinking of what Kl'rt would do to him, or possibly thinking of the rivals and allies he would have to cross to rule.

The leader took only a little more convincing, and once the 'negotiation' had ended, Kl'rt was instated as his new right hand man, delivering orders to what he found out was the fifth biggest operation in Roanapur. It wasn't influential enough to act in the face of the four main bosses, and particularly not against Hotel Moscow or the Triad. It did, however, boast the most members within the city itself. Since much of the power of the Colombians relied on global connections, and the Mafia had been savaged after an event some time ago, Kl'rt considered this acquisition adequate.

Kl'rt gave orders for the gang members to observe and report the actions of any of the new arrivals to the city. He specified to not interfere for the time being, and that the easiest way to tell the new arrivals was by how they were dressed. Of those Kl'rt had seen earlier in the night, none had worn anything that matched what the locals wore, or what Kl'rt himself had morphed in to.

Having dispatched his new servants, Kl'rt retired to the office of the abandoned warehouse to get some sleep before whatever madness came next.

Super Skrull - Roanapur, Day 1

What could only have been a few hours later, Kl'rt was awakened by a rap at the door. Even before he answered the door, he could see that things had changed. Parts of the building he stood in had been transformed into a fluffy golden cake. The report he received was simply that it had happened, but that in The City, such an event was not inconceivable or terribly unusual. Dismissing the report, Kl'rt stepped outside to assess the local situation first hand. The warehouse district looked afflicted, a hodgepodge of buildings now partially turned in to food. It was pretty much what Kl'rt had come to expect from Earth.

Within half an hour, reports started to arrive once more. A man in armor wandering the streets. A fighter and a child, and the arrival of a second fighter. The two fighters slaying absurd food monsters, and then fighting each other, and the child fleeing the scene. The end of the fight, and the recovery of the fighters, as well as the observers who had gathered to watch. A vague description of the techniques used by each fighter. The male human seemed to both teleport, and to destroy a food creature without approaching it, and the female had some kind of energy projection. Kl'rt deemed the male to be the more dangerous of the two, particularly after hearing that he had also reattached his arm after battle. As of yet, he did not consider either of them a threat.

Leaving orders for the gang members to destroy food creatures, or avoid them if they couldn't manage that, Kl'rt returned to his office to await more reports before deciding on a course of action.

Clementine - Roanapur, Day 1

Clementine had looked back once, after running past Juri, and seen the woman looking her way, but not running. Clementine didn't look back again; knowing where she was going was more important than where she had already been. She couldn't hear the beast behind her anymore, or anyone running behind her either. She ducked down a narrow alley and stopped. She didn't seem to be in any more danger, and there was no sense in wasting energy she didn't have to. It spoke to how much she'd had to run in the last few years that her breathing had hardly quickened. She poked her head back out into the street, looking back the way she'd come, but she had left the house, the man and Juri well behind her and out of sight.

With no immediate danger in sight, Clementine resumed her interrupted breakfast with part of the wall she was standing by, and resigned herself to traveling alone once again.

Filia - Moon Over Bourbon Street

@vitavitaar@invisible man@trevor1001@flamelord

The struggling of the Tacodile in its mad endeavor to be freed caused Filia to grit her teeth. Nobody likes their hair being pulled, and for Filia, more pain than usual accompanied that action. Her Ringlet Spikes, jammed inside the beast's green pepper-flesh, had stopped spinning due to the friction, which left her open for attack. Before the Tacodile could wrench away and slam Filia's head into the road, however, one of the other fighters intervened. After Kyouko's bold declaration, the schoolgirl expected something truly blockbuster-worthy. That spear-whip of hers penetrated the monster's crisp shell with ease and cleaved through the filling within, scattering shreds of lettuce and beef onto the ground. A gasp of effort escaped Filia's lips and the Ringlet Spikes receded, their presence no longer required. By the time she opened her moist eyes, Kyouko had ripped the Tacodile's head apart, and the rest of the beast sagged to the ground with as much flare as a soggy, day-old taco.

Methodically, Filia stood up. A few new bruises stung her knees and elbows, pepper juice soaked parts of her hair, and several strands lay stick in the creature or in the ground, but otherwise she appeared alright. From the back of her head, Samson gave a grunt of approval. ”Not bad, that girl. The blond and pink-haired dudes didn't do much. Krieg did alright, too. Not worth trustin' them, though.” By twisting himself into two long pigtails, the parasite wrung the pepper juice out of Filia's hair. Afterward, it fanned out into a more-or-less normal position, hanging loosely behind the schoolgirl as she approached the others over an obstacle course of craters in the Oreo and cracker earth. She clasped her hands in front of her and meekly said, “Thanks for the help.”

Twilight Sparkle - Ranma's Bento Tree

___________________________________________________

For a moment... just a little moment... Twilight felt irritated that these people had taken to ignoring her like she hadn't just spoken to them.

In the next moment she was silently berating herself in thought 'That's Wrong! No, they're busy and it's rude to expect them to drop everything to answer me... I might be a princess, but I'm not 'their's'. Sweet Celestia! Is this where I go when I'm faced with a crisis 'alone'? Bitter? Impatient? Entitled?... Have I been letting my position go to my head without actually realizing it? I remember using my 'position' as Celestia's student to get lots of privacy before I made friends... Have I just been a snooty jerk waiting to happen?!... Maybe the relative loneliness of my Big empty freaking castle has been getting to me more than I thought.'

Yep, she'd gone lost in thought for the moment... At least until she heard some distant roaring thing, though it was far enough not to catch on as an immediate threat, the noise itself was enough to snap her out of her inner monologue... She also thought she might still hear the shouts of that man-human growing more distant, but wasn't willing to distract herself by finding out. 'crap! Now 'I' was ignoring them! What'd I miss?' She quickly 'tuned in' to what was left of their conversation... she also did her best to catch additional names, as it seemed she could only remember actually seeing a couple of them introduce themselves the previous day... or maybe she ignored them.

...

'Hmmmm, animals made of food huh? Fluttershy and Pinkie would both be excited by finding out about 'that'... Then Fluttershy would probably stare Pinkie into submission for trying to eat 'innocent little critters' because just because they're made of food stuffs... I Miss my friends... Grrr, And I'm going to continue to do so until I find a way back to them, I can't afford to slip into one of those spiral's and lose sight of the goal

Crap, she did it again didn't she? PAY ATTENTION TWILIGHT! Speak, think, listen, interact instead of slipping off into your own mind like you used to!

She latched onto the first thing she heard as she slipped out of her mental distraction, and turned the girl with the talking motorcycle, unable to help a slightly snarky chuckle "I dunno, I saw that insane screaming man from yesterday eating a 'bacon tree'... He was REALLY eating it, I swear half of it was already gone before I came by." She paused to snap off another piece of bacon from the branch she'd snagged and started chewing... then glanced to the branch and snorted "Then again, I suppose My having this disproves the possibility automatically, he can't eat the whole tree if I stole part of it."

Amidst her chatter she also gave a friendly wave to the new girl in the strange and colorful outfit, and thoroughly ignored the strangely proportioned humanoid with the bright colors and enormous... nosestache, greatly preferring to keep a stranglehold on the conversation at hoof so that it won't slip from her grasp again.

...

And just like that, she momentarily lost herself in listening to the large man calling himself a grandmaster at arms, even if he was wearing surprisingly casual clothing for such a title, but this probably wasn't a location where he was an official grandmaster, like her own title meaning little here... But she was much more fascinated by listening to his short rambling about, were they species in the world he was from? And he wase 'ionian'... She loved hearing about unique species! Now, how could she get him to spill mo-NO! Stop getting distracted, someone finally spoke to you!

She seemed as if she were snapping out of a daydream when she finally realized that 'Ranma' had spoken to her, enough that she'd missed his defensive reaction to her appearance, and put on a pleasant little smile and spoke again "Given what we've seen so far, that's a fair assessment... If Pinkie were hear, she'd be busy trying to eat everything in sight, she'd probably make this 'challenge' a cake-walk." she stared off into space for a moment as if having some kind of war flash back... then snapped back to reality "by the sun, the things I've seen that mare swallow whole... Then continue on to the next thing... and the next..."

...

It then clicked that several of them had introduced themselves to eachother, and this was a prime opportunity to 'redo' her introduction without half a day's worth of psychological instability wearing on her nerves. "Oh! And I am Princess Twilight Sparkle, though, I suppose my title doesn't matter for much right now, this definitely isn't Equestria, even if it kindof resembles one of Discord's nation-wide pranks right now. It's nice to meet you all...... Oh, and by the way, is Bacon always this good?! I've never eaten meat before because it normally would've come from someone I might've actually 'talked' to at some point, but this didn't... I might still regret it later, but It can't believe it's this good!"

Big Boss

__________________________________________________

It was fairly sudden that a distortion against the ground of 'spinachy grass' would become visible near the tree, though there wasn't a sound as the distortion faded and 'powered down', revealing the man known as Big Boss laying flat against the ground and eavesdropping on the conversation... He also appeared to be chewing on the remains of something ironically snake like, resembling a cross between an eclair and a noodle, or at least what was left of it did... A Snaclair it seemed... He wasn't normally one for sweets, but the abundance of healthier foods 'blanketing' the ground would make up for it.

More importantly, upon noticing that his camouflage had turned off, he flattened out against the grass as much as possible... as if that would make him harder to see? he was still wearing black against a green background, but instinct said it always worked before.

Krieg - Mahora

Krieg started to laugh uncontrollably as the monster slammed onto the ground, a gigantic hole had been blasted into the side! The force that only a rocket launcher could do inside of someones hair! The screams of the monster was almost like music to his ears, although it just wasn't the same without several of the deserving screaming in pain at once while he runs around throwing dynamite at people. Savoring the screams, Krieg holstered his SMG before brandishing his most important melee weapon, a slight glint of insanity as his reflection gleamed against the soon to be dirty surface. Although, before he could reach to such a satisfying conclusion, someone else had ended the life of the beast in such a painless manner! Killing it almost instantly! What!? You don't do that to someone killing you! You play with their organic meaty bits until they die! Krieg fumed at the girl, his grip tightening on the axe before his voice interjected towards his unbridled rage against the lady with the sword. "Hey, how about we use that rage to find the heart of the monster? Maybe eat some of the dead meat? Not fight against that stranger who helped us?" The Voice casually said, trying to convince his partner for a less violent approach against a person that was still alive.

"I PUNCTURED YOOOOOU!" Krieg screamed out, his fingers pointing towards the carcass of the Tacodile, ready to carve out the organs of this rather strange monster.

"Glad we can compromise."

Krieg made his way over to the dead beast, ignoring mostly what everyone else was saying before he screamed wildly as he smashed into the shell with his buzz-axe. He laughed in a rather worrying manner towards all around him before reaching his hand into the beast, his entire arm soon being enveloped in the lukewarm innards of the food. "Ugh... This thing feels gross, but at least we haven't pulled any skeletons this time." The Voice grimaced at the memory, Krieg continued to search before with a large grunt pulled his entire arm from the hole that he had created, his arm covered his burning hot pepper juice. Though, what he pulled out was quite weird, it looked like a heart... Shaped like a habanero pepper.

"I EMBRACE THE FLAME." Krieg then smashed the entire pepper onto his face, the juices spraying everywhere around the group of people surrounding the Tacodile, but most of them making their way into the poorly constructed mask. The burning liquid running across his body, burning into his skin, though the most painful was that some of the pepper managed to get into his eye holes. However, he didn't react to it at all, merely just laughing it off as the voice wondered what was wrong with his mind... Was it him? Was he causing all of this? The Voice didn't know, but as Krieg continued to laugh, the Voice tried to talk to the people in a attempt to make contact.

"Sorry, sorry about him. Sorry."

Sakura Kyouko

"Heh, of course it was incredible," Kyouko replied to the redheaded boy's comment. He might have been a loser, but at least he was aware enough to notice that. He wanted to know her name, too? Well, she was pretty stuck here... Just giving out her name to any random idiot wasn't something the redheaded magical girl usually did, know. She draped her spear over her shoulders, and her arms over her spear, as well. She had some shadow cubes with her still, to keep her soul gem pure, but she supposed sticking around in magical girl form for too long wasn't the best idea. Then again, she wasn't exactly planning on sticking around too long, now, was she?

As for the girl with the moving hair or whatever, Kyouko raised an eyebrow at her when she thanked her. "Yeah, whatever, I'm gonna see if this thing tastes like it looks n-"

She cut herself off and stared blankly at the weird masked man, who was presently tearing the taco creature apart and smashing the pepper into his face. She gritted her teeth.

"Wasting food like that... If he doesn't eat that, I'll kill him."

It was a rather frank response to the apologizing voice.

The only thing that stopped her was the fact that he might eat it. And... she didn't really want an entire hot pepper anyway, but still... Glaring at him, she approached the creature. It was a lot to eat, but there was no way she'd waste any of it if she could help it.

Chun-Li, Mahora

"Wow, there are a lot of people here," Chun-Li said and then glanced at Twilight. "And a talking motorcycle and a talking pony... Umm..."

Chun-Li glanced over at Jax when he rambled on about how he thought they were Ionians and about how the eyes of Ionians lacked 'black thing in the middle.' That was something she should check later. Ranma rambled on about his own plan, and about some wacky martial art that involved heavy eating. In any case, she didn't pay that much attention to the discussion.

"Jax, I think you are right about everyone being from different world, except that they aren't worlds you know," Chun-Li explained to Jax as she finished up her bento meal. "I'm from China, myself."

"I'm Chun-Li, Interpol Special Agent and the strongest woman in the world!" Chun-Li smirked with her typical boast, but then frowned remembering these people were from different worlds. "Or at least, the strongest woman in my world."

"I don't consider myself a grandmaster either, but I use my own self-made martial arts style after studying a variety of established martial arts," Chun-Li explained to both Jax and Ranma. "I've not even come up with a name for it since I'm not ready to settle down and pass on the new style just yet."

"But I can say with complete certainly that only a very few select people back home could beat me in a fight," Chun-Li nodded to the others, looking at Twilight. "Um, I don't usually eat bacon, but it's okay I guess."

"Do you want a cookie?" Chun-Li asked Twilight as well as the others she did not give a cookie to. "I have an entire bag of sweets... I like sweets."

If any accepted, Chun-Li would hand out various sweets to the others that had now crowded the tree.

Juri, Roanapur

"So, you got a place to stay at?" Juri had asked DIO, making sure Clementine had left the area first. She really didn't want to see a child get harmed. She was already starting to feel more pain from the battle as she was starting to 'thaw out,' as it were. She'd rather rest for a while, especially since it felt like all she could do was walk at the moment.

"Oh, I don't think we've shared each other's names," Juri smirked seductively at DIO again. "That just won't do if we're going to be together."

"I'm Juri Han," She introduced herself to the vampire. Juri considered what DIO said about her having a Stand. He said it could not be seen except by people who also had a Stand. In addition, if DIO found his Stand to be useful, then it obviously would worth learning more about. "If learning about this Stand can make me more powerful, then I want you to teach me all about them."

Juri considered what DIO had done... He could have killed her right then and there but chose to spare her life. Beyond the injuries of the fight, she felt unharmed... In fact, she felt just slightly better than she did when she had fallen unconscious. What exactly did DIO want with her over anyone else? Was it just because she was an extremely strong fighter. In any case, that did not change the current reality of the situation... She was at DIO's complete mercy.

Kino

There seemed to be a number of newcomers appearing. Kino, for the moment, simply quietly observed them. Some armored person, talking about another country... a girl, the strange pastel creature from before... Insofar as she could tell, Hermes was simply watching newcomers arrive as well. The martial artist in red seemed to be coming up with some strange strategy involving feeding monsters parts of one another. Well, certainly, that was an odd way to plan things out. Still, perhaps it would be successful, if they were attacked. The animals in this world seemed to be made of food...

The girl was asking if the tree belonged to the boy in the tree. After listening to the black-haired teenager's explanation, Kino decided to make her own comment.

"I don't think anything in this forest belongs to anyone," she said, simply, "This isn't a place inhabited by people."

As far as she could tell, at least. Kino was rather quick to take cookies from the female martial artist, who introduced herself as Chun-li. Kino paused for a moment, and decided to introduce herself.

"My name is Kino," she said, simply, before placing a hand on Hermes's seat. "And this is Hermes."

"Hello!" added Hermes.

Filia – Moon Over Bourbon Street

@vitavitaAR@flamelord@trevor1001@invisible man

Funnily enough, the juvenile and disgusting display put on by Krieg did not surprise Filia nearly as much as Kyouko's reaction to it. At first, she assumed that the little girl in red joked by saying that she'd slaughter the psycho simply for wasting food. After all, the entire City currently counted as a massive waste of food, didn't it? When Filia realized that Kyouko was being serious, her eyebrows shot up in shock. “Is...she serious? She's not gonna try and eat that whole monster, is she? It's bigger than a bus, and it's got bits of my hairball in it! How gross!”

She noted that all this time she'd been speaking to Souji, who quite possibly knew as little about Kyouko's mental fortitude as she did. Furthermore, to her embarrassment, she remembered that the pink-haired boy had asked a question and she'd thanked Kyouko instead. Even if he'd been useless against the Tacodile, he didn't deserve to be ignored, whether accidentally or not. “Uh, sorry, got sidetracked there. My name is Filia, and this is...” the back of her head finished for her, ”Gregor Samson! Nice to meet ya an' all that. If you lay a hand on my host, you'll be part of the next Trichobezoar.”

DIO – Positively 4th Street, Roanapur

@gameguruGG[@Azakama]

While he hadn't noticed them before, DIO now became aware of a small crowd of people spread out in a loose perimeter around where he and Juri had dueled. Some left now that the action had been concluded, but a few others stayed, anticipating some further entertainment. The entire situation, though not surprising to the vampire, did not sit well with him. As powerful as he was, he never liked to have the spotlight of public attention attached to him, preferring instead the looming near-anonymity the shadows and urban legends could offer. He paused in his formulation of a plan to answer his new comrade's question. ”Indeed., Hotel California. Its staff will recognize you as their superior and serve you, now that you and I are bound together.” A frown manifested itself on his noble face. ”I believe I already said, but I am DIO Brando. Regardless, it is most excellent to make your acquaintance, Juri Han. I will instruct you about the nature of Stands, as I have most of my servants. But first...the World, toki wo tomare.”

Before DIO's eyes, the world slowed to a crawl. Only he and his Stand remained animate in a land of unblinking, unmoving statues, where even color failed to properly resolve itself. The vampire cast his eyes skyward, and spotted upon a roof a strange-looking woman. More than likely, he suspected, this figure was another one of the individuals DIO now termed 'suspects', the beings that stood out from the uninspiring inhabitants of the City and so far proved to harbor unusual powers. ”One second has passed.” No time to figure out now; if this being had any interest in him, she would seek him out and prove herself either an ally or a corpse to be made an ally. He stepped forward, took Juri in his arms, and began to run.

The next thing Juri knew, she and DIO were half a block away, alone, out of the reach of prying eyes. Smiling again, DIO set her down. The chill within him, born of circulation control, had subsided. Putting his hands on his hips, he began to walk toward Hotel California, saying, ”A Stand is a vision formed of one's own life energy. It is mastered through willpower; a weak soul who somehow manifests a Stand will be destroyed by it. All Stands have unique abilities, and I will tell you mine. I am not afraid to share the secret of my Stand with my strongest followers. Doing so is tantamount to making a contract with them, for in exchange for their service, I give them my complete trust. This may sound foolhardy, but I have never yet been betrayed, and I never will be. It is not just fear that accomplishes this, for while I may kill any who lose faith in me, that is not the point. To divulge the secret of my Stand is to betray my trust and my love, to take a knife into the back of your greatest friend. I am certain that some of my followers, such as N'Doul, would rather kill themselves than shame me.” Still walking, DIO paused to let that sink in, then turned his head so he could lock eye contact with Juri. His presence flowed again. ”Lovely, fierce, strong Juri Han. The secret of my Stand, the World, is the power to stop time.”

After that intense moment, the day seemed normal again, sunnier even. DIO permitted himself a small grimace but began again shorty after. ”Who knows what your Stand will look like and what it can do? Later, after you've recovered, I can guide you through your Stand's manifestation. Until then, I may as well perform further reconnaissance on the City. There are other suspects here that may prove problematic to us, and I wish to learn more about them. If you can recover on the move, I would be pleased if you would accompany me, Juri Han.”

Garie - Roanpur

Nonchalantly posed atop a building, Garie watched the fight or confrontation as it went down, interested in the various abilities displayed by the two opponents. It would definitely be useful going on, and she took a moment to compare it to the various Gear users. Obviously the guy with some sort of teleportation was an issue that she would have to work out, but the woman, well, she seemed more like a Gear User. It'd be interesting to fight her, and see if she could sing as well as the people in her own universe. Certainly the ending was impressive with how she pulled the guy's arm off, even if he was able to heal it

At last the confrontation seemed to end, with the woman overwhelmed by the force against her or something like that, but the blond man woke her up before they vanished from sight, taking advantage of that teleportation, presumably. "Well then, that wasn't a total waste of time," Garie noted to herself as she shifted in place.

With that particular spectacle over it was time to move on, and Garie did so as she dropped down from the roof to walk a bit more dear ground leave. She considered pursuing the duo, but in the end decided that it was unnecessary. They were strong, but so was she. She didn't need the help to get back to her own world and reunite with Carol, or to find a dramatic and fitting end for herself.

So for now she went along, watching and dancing, waiting for whatever challenge was to come.

Souji Mitsuka - Mahora

Souji winced a bit as Krieg went to work on the giant thing, awe fading somewhat at the sight of the definitely crazy person. He didn't like to judge, sure, but even he could tell that something was off with the guy, and it went a bit beyond the obsession Anko had for Tailred. Well, at least he didn't have to deal with it for the moment. He was more intimidated by the practically vitriolic comment the spear user gave, as weird as it seemed.

Of course, in this situation it seemed that he was being ignored, but he didn't mind too much. After all, it was a weird situation for anyone to be in, and someone did get around to answering in time.

And so they did, as the girl who had first alerted them to the taco thing, or even led it to them, finally got around to answering. And then...her hair did as well. "Whoa, your hair can talk? That's awesome!" His hair couldn't do that. Well, except for that one time, but it was more of an out of body experience anyway so he wasn't sure if it counted.

Then he realized what sort of fool he must be making of himself, and let out a chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head. "Oh, sorry. I'm Souji Mitsuka. It's nice to meet you, Filia and Gregor." Well then, this was not what he had been expecting, but he wouldn't object to it either. Maybe they could tell him what was going on here in the first place, since they seemed to know something. One could hope, anyway.

Jax - Mahora, Bento Tree

"Strongest woman in the world eh? That's a pretty boastful title." Jax said to Chun-Li as he chuckled a little, "And you say you're from China?" Jax thought for a moment about what the Summoners had said about "their" worlds. In the League all the champions had to be attentive during the World Championship due to the fact that at least sixteen teams from across "Earth" as the summoners called it. This year as he remembered seeing on a giant scoreboard in the middle of the room that there were three teams from a country called "China". The Summoners described it as one of the regions who had the best chances at winning the whole thing. The Grandmaster looked back at the woman, "I don't know much about China but I do know that three competitors in what we call the World Championship are competing right now! The summoners have told me bits and pieces but China really seems like my Ionia if it was a bit more developed and a lot more crowded." He was sure that wasn't all it was though.

"Saotome Musabetsu Kakuto Ryu? That sounds an awful lot like Ionian. Now that you mention it the Summoners said that our Language is basically a mixup of what they call Mandarin and Japanese. If I'd have to take a guess... That would mean the School Of Indiscriminate Grappling right? Wait... Anything goes?" Jax snickered and remembered back in the days when he was a young boy on the street and fighting strong. He called what he used, Inpakuto Reijin Ken which in Ionian meant: Divine Fist of Impactful Spirit. The reason why he had named it this was because whenever he seemed to punch or slam someone with his pole, a lot of force went behind it and made the attack last longer and thus doing more damage.

"I think I also used a martial art back in the day as well. I haven't seen a kid of your stature in a while, most kids in Ionia wanna become poltical figures or perhaps a student of one of the various sword-styles we have. It's rare that I see anyone who wants to become a brawler anymore- I mean, the closest we have are Ninjas. Saotome was it? I bet you make yer parents proud with that attitude, don't give it up! The Grandmaster said as he took a bite out of some shrimp, "Trust me, you keep that up and you're gonna go places. That's why some summoners in the League are... What was it- Challenger? Yeah, that's it Challenger! So don't give it up one bit. By the way, who's your master? What's he like?" Jax asked eagerly as he finished his shrimp, he wanted to know who was teaching this kid. Perhaps it migh've been a great warrior.

Hibiki

Now assured that she was allowed to take the food off the tree, Hibiki pulled off her selected lunch--not paying too much attention to the contents, as the most important element was guaranteed to be there. Then, following the lead of the man introducing himself as 'grandmaster', she grabbed the chopsticks that were conveniently growing from the tree (and yet further reinforcement that this had to be a dream) before opening the cheap plastic that had somehow grown from a tree and attacking it with rather unladylike fervour. Something that the martial artist hovering above would be extremely used to.

Hibiki paused from her assault on the bento when the introductions made the round, not entirely making sense of 'different worlds' part yet due to both lack of attention and the continuing distinct feeling that she'd fallen asleep in class again (accurate, to an extent). It was pretty clear that introductions were being made, however.

"Tachibana Hibiki," the cheerful girl said, after the... talking motorcycle was introduced. At least this made more sense than the overly talkative purple horse, as Tsubasa had mentioned hers earlier.
