The hearing of the beast's roar was the least thing Cynbel wanted to hear today. It was bad enough he had to deal with his peers, and show up to this stupid trial. He should have seen the beast's return coming, given that Kali was no longer around to make sure it didn't get too antsy. Cythlla seemed to be getting what she wanted, which only further irritated Cynbel.

He needed a drink.

Odin wanted Cythlla locked up for now, which was reasonable, especially given the fight at hand. He had other, more important things to do than deal with her. There was a giant beast which was free, who was going to bring the Apocalypse to all. This was far more concerning than a mad little girl being a brat.

As the Valkyries began to set the tables back up, Cynbel grabbed one of the chalices, and chugged what he could before placing it back down on the table. This was going to be a long day, and he needed something to keep him going.

" I'm going to go alert the others, bring together a warband, and deal with Sithilerine. You two lock her up in Olympus, I'll decide what to do after. Good luck. "

Cynbel transformed into a Raven, and flew off towards Olympus. Hopefully, his peers would actually listen to him this time. He was a God of War, the most qualified person to deal with this battle. As long as they followed his commands to a T, the beast would be dealt with, and for good this time.

Ronin growled, then used illusions to change her appearance into an elderly, stick-thin, hideous version of Lea. After a few minutes, she let the illusion dissipate. "Don't try to out-illusion the goddess of magic, brother dear." As he seemed to only wish to speak to Loki at the moment, she turned back to the targets and began destroying them in various creative ways.
"Athena is well, thank you for asking." Loki replied. "You look well... no matter what Ronin seems to think." He shot his daughter a teasing glance. She stuck her tongue out at him playfully in retaliation.

@LadyTale "Thank you father i appropriate the compliment,I also wanted to speak to mother about helping me train in archery i want to learn more form her" Lea while Ronin's back was turned gently poking her with the end of his staff while she was firing her magic so she would miss."Dear father do you know where Seanathair Odin is?I wish to speak to him if he could train me.." His eyes on his father his hand tightly moving the staff close to him.

Loki let out an annoyed noise; he wasn't on the best of terms with Odin. "I assume the Allfather is on Asgard, as usual."
When Lea nudged her, Ronin missed the target completely; however, a quick mental command swerved the bolt of magic around to destroy the target from behind. That finished, she whirled on her brother. "Was that completely necessary? For all you know, that spell could have taken out the wall!" She rolled her eyes. "Not that I can expect you to understand, sister dear." It wasn't something she did often, pointing out the similarity between her brother's nickname and a Midgardian girl's name, but she was annoyed.
"That was uncalled for, Ronin." Loki rebuked mildly. On one hand, he was the god of mischief and was amused to see his children following in his footsteps. On the other hand, Athena was trying to get him to be a better role model.

@LadyTale "Good good i hope he is available for me to teach me" Lea scolded his sister wanting so hard to hit her over the head with a staff,"I don't care what you think little girl..Well it was nice speaking to you dear SISTER but i have training to do and peons to bow to my feet.." Lea spoke giving his father a hug before leaving though the door not before giving Ronin a shot form his staff as he is leaving shooting a fire bolt near her feet.

Upon arriving in Olympus' main hall, Cynbel transformed back into his usual form. He didn't really like shapeshifting into a bird much, but Ravens were kind of his thing, so he'd feel pretty weird turning into anything else. At least, for casual flying needs. He'd transform into whatever was needed.

There was no time to think about how much he hated being a Raven, it was time to get his war band together to defeat this beast. Cynbel took a deep breath, and began to yell as loud as he could, alerting all who would be at Olympus.

" Everybody with divine blood is to report here right now! Anybody who does not report will be arrested for treason, locked up, and will be put on trail once what needs to be done is done! With the death of Kali, Sithilerine has broken free! I am getting everybody together, and we're going down to kill him once and for all! This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill! "

Cynbel would only give them a minute, maybe two if enough people didn't show up. This was a very serious matter, and the rest should know just how serious it was. This would be their first test as the new generation, and he hoped his peers would be up to the challenge. They really hadn't done much of a good job before this. They'd also have to kill a beast that their parents decided to lock up instead of kill. And he was sure they weren't as strong as their parents yet.

Cynbel wish he kept that chalice, he really needed another drink.

Masrith sat through the trial with a blank expression. His face changed when he saw Sithilerine freed from his prison. He stood up and left without a word. As he retreated to his own domain, he heard the shout of what seemed to be a very angry man. "That damned Cynbel. Alright, I'll show to make him feel better." He opened a portal and walked through it to walk behind Cynbel as he was shouting for everyone. "That's odd...oh right, time portal. I remember now." He looked around Olympus. "Cleaned the place up I see. Cynbel. Before we start this. I'm technically not aloud to interfere with these endeavours. So I'll just provide a strategic advantage as I can see his moves as he thinks about doing them...technically speaking." He let out a strange grin. Masrith wasn't used to showing emotion.

Sithilerine traveled throughout worlds. "Those retched Gods. I'll devour every last one of them. My soul has rested enough. I will not allow some pathetic, insignificant worms who take pleasure in the account of turning themselves into bastard children get the better of me. I'll slaughter each and every one of them." He started to focus his breathing to calm himself down. "I need more power. What Gods exist to give me that much more of a advantage?" He let out a menacing grin to himself. "I know a fool who isolates himself simply because of his behavior....I hope you're home Loki. I'm on my way."

Cythlla laughed as she was put into a cell on Olympus. She was in a dungeon and not in view of anyone. Once the guards turned their back she stopped her hysterical laughter. She took a moment to catch her breath before looking around her cell. It looked like any other cell except for a magic barrier. She wouldn't be able to escape even in mist form. She hadn't expected the cell to have such a strong barrier in place. It even prevented her from using any of her powers. She had heard of what was happening with the release of Slitherine. She only smiled at this, she didn't care who lived or died. Besides for now she was safe in her cell away from others. "Mister Zeltrax will be pleased with this, once their weakened he can spread his corruption." Cythlla said as she grinned.

Zeltrax in the meantime was keeping himself hidden, though he was watching the commotion from a orb he had recently acquired from a few humans. He had made so alterations to it's magic so he could watch. He was currently looking for someone else to corrupt. He had Cythlla already, but she needed no corruption, she was already mad.

Harpokrates, Mount Olympus
@Stephanie Dola

And so the second domino fell. The upstartish way of the Merged had set off a chain reaction, a period of disorder which would undoubtedly - which already had - lead to things which were kept in line by the old ways falling apart. Indeed one of the many vile children of that Greek abomination, Typhon, had found it its way out of its prison. That, from the sounds of it, was no secret - nor did Harpokrates need to be a god to hear. The young, new god also understood the potential gravity of the situation, were it not acted on.

Where she was before did not matter. What did matter was, in one moment, everything stopped. Everything. Across worlds and realms, every instance of thing-ness froze other than at one point. And when everything resumed, she was elsewhere. A different angle in the speck which was all existence, a different perspective. Only this perspective was on Mount Olympus.

It would be rude for the new girl not to be present at an elder's call, after all.

There was nothing glorious about her sudden appearance, simply apparating into being at the peak Olympus, the former seat of Zeus' power, not emerging from any shadow or with any sort of effect. Standing close to the "edge" of the main hall, but not quite enough to exclude themself from any form of social contact, Harpokrates bowed her head before Mac Lugh, eyes peering at him through the eyeholes of her golden mask.

"Harpokrates answers your call, Weapon-Wielder. I am bound by duty to assist in this matter." The voice of a child, the words of one who had done this before. Unlike some, this new god would not disrespect her elders. She knew the ropes, New Unmerged World Order or otherwise.

@BKburke During his walk towards his destination he came across Sithilerine not even noticing the villain,The son of Loki whistling a tone that was once sung by his mother. His staff lightly hitting the floor below him that on key with his whistling. He couldn't wait to see Odin the allfather and wondered if he could be taught by the great creator and since he had more of loving relationship then his other grandfather Zeus who doesn't think much of him.

"Old fool" Lea thought shaking his head his whistling now getting louder changing to the chorus of the song.

@Stephanie Dola Kragonis rose from the ground. His voice quiet as a whisper yet everyone nearby seemed to still hear it. "Cynbel Cynbel Cynbel. I would ask why you would have the authority to say we would be arrested for treason since their is no ruler and nobody put you in charge. But as you are a war god I will respect your judgement for this. I would not normally help but my Giant brothers would also be destroyed so I am here to help." He then became as still as a stone until more was said.

Ronin hissed in displeasure and threw out her arms, decimating every target at once.
"Calm yourself, hjarta minn." Loki tried to sooth his daughter.
"I will not." Ronin growled. "That upstart of a war god who thinks he rules Olympus is calling, didn't you hear, faðir? I can't stand him sometimes."
"Nonetheless, I suppose we should see what he wants." Loki shrugged and took another form, shifting into a crow to make his way there faster. Ronin, on the other hand, shrank down into her sacred animal, the red fox. Both gods raced towards Cynbel, making it a race.
Loki beat Ronin by a small amount of time, mainly because the goddess had to make her way around godly legs somewhat often. Both tricksters returned to normal form at the same time, Loki with his trademark smirk, Ronin summoning her naginata. "We're here, oh most powerful god of war." She drawled sweetly. "May I ask who made you king, and why my faðir and I were not invited to the coronation?"
Alexander arrived just in time to hear Ronin's words. "I hardly think this is the time for such petty concerns." He shot a disapproving look at the goddess.
"Oh, I think it is." Ronin replied. "He threatened to charge gods with treason if they were late. Is that not something only a ruler has the power to do?" She adopted an innocent expression. "I only want to be sure that our glorious warlord isn't... overstepping his boundaries. After all, the chain of command is a very important thing."
"There is a battle approaching. We can clear this up after the monster is dead." Alexander snapped. He knew Ronin had a point, but he didn't understand why she chose now, of all times, to bring it up.
Ronin huffed and rolled her eyes. "As you wish, oh great son of the sky god."

Perdant smiled letting her sharp snake teeth show as she listened to what was happening with the gods. It was a win win situation for her. If the gods killed themselves attacking this beast then there'd be no more gods to stop her transforming the world back to its empty sterile state and if the monster was killed there would be so much chaos energy that she would be more powerful then ever before. She shifted into a serpent and slithered down to olympus, hidden by her chaos magic to watch what would happen next.

Sithilerine was flying across hoping to get to Loki. He looked down and noticed Lea. "Well if no body is home, I better get a good snack now." He changed his direction. "We are alone too. Pour fool did this like it was his destiny." He landed behind Lea. Without hesitation, Sithilerine swung his tail at Lea. Sithilerine was not in a patient mood and needed to recover as quickly as possible.

Masrith sat and watched as many individuals began to show themselves on Olympus. "I suppose I shouldn't get excited because I knew all of this but it's better to see it in person.

Time, time, time. What was time but a perception of movement? No, rather, a perception of change. But its not set in stone. The absolute fates of old were overthrown when Zeus violated the old laws. The future, and fate, changed. Of course they did not go away. The divines are always locked into Fate and Predetermination. That is the rule of most myths and legends. Even Zeus would have given up his Kingdom in Olympus and domain over the skies if he violated the rule of this world.

...And didn't he lose his Divine Right to rule when he defied fate? He changed the outcome of every myth, and erased all the rules of the world. So, in that respect, it was only natural that he fall to the Merged. Just as Kronus and Uranus before him had lost their Divine Right and had thus been slaughtered by their children, Zeus too was erased from the world. The World had been given a clean slate. But still, the New Gods were still beholden to the rules of fate. The world had no truly balanced itself. With the Mergeds rebellion, many of the important roles filled by the Gods were now empty. This was only the calm before the storm, the storm that would bring void, destruction, and then equilibrium. It is the law of cycles.

In Japan, thousands of miles from Greece, and a dimension away from Olympus, a human decided to play at the occult and summon an entity beyond the scope of humans. Do not rise up what you cannot put down; that is the first rule of Magic that even the Gods follow. The piece of art that the young girl had been working on slowly faded away, into nothingness. It was replaced by a layer of pure blackness that seemed to quiver in the same manner as jello. In that darkness, a figure could be seen, featureless. Stars slowly began to appear behind the figure as it came closer to her within the painting, yet didn't seem to move its legs.

...It was probably a good thing thing that Nanase had some dice in her room. That way she could roll for Sanity Loss and see whether or not she would end up a blubbering mess on the floor.

In the corner of the room, the Gerbil began running around in its glass cage frantically, knowing just as well as Nanase herself that something had gone terribly wrong. She had not, really, intended to summon Nyarlathotep. The ritual circle and the "summons" she used were both from the internet, just something she put together randomly to try and appease boredom. There was no way they could be "correct", now, would it?

No, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. No matter how "inaccurate" her methods were, if she had caught the attention of Nyarlathotep then the Crawling Chaos would come, no matter what. The method didn't matter; all that mattered was whether or not the Outer God, so far above human understanding and comprehension, would be amused or bored enough to humor the human.

With the sudden realization that maybe, just maybe, something far beyond her wildest imaginations was happening, she slowly approached the painting, her eyes a mixture of terrified and open wonder. Was she really in the presence of the Crawling Chaos? Has she really caught its attention?

Sithilerine wasn't surprised when what he attacked was an illusion. He used the momentum of his tail swing to dodge the attack Lea used to try and paralyze him. "You little worm. I'll show you.what magic is." Sithilerines' chest began to grow as if he was inhaling. He then let out a roar. The arua he let out was used to tear souls from bodies. Sithilerine did not use enough force to try and tear out Lea's soul. He used enough to cause great pain. Even if what was in front of Sithilerine was another illusion. The roar affected the area. If Lea was in it, he would feel the effects.

Masrith looked on as a large group of people began to show themselves. "Now I believe we ne-" he was cut off by a familiar sound. "Well that's odd...wait a second." He looked down at his hour glass. The hourglass was on. "Cynbel. We may want to hurry this up. Start discussing a plan quickly. I'll look for who is in trouble." Masriths eyes began to glow. He was searching through time to find out who was in trouble.

This. . . this was it? This was going to be his elite warband? They were dead, so dead. They were especially dead because Ronin and Kragonis really thought they could question him right now. Cynbel was going to ignore them, but when he realized that this was all he was going to get, he needed to vent some steam off somehow.

" I have authority because I'm taking my job seriously, and going to deal with a threat to everyone. Ronin, when you stop playing around, get off your ass, and start acting like you're a god, you can gladly start contesting my authority. Kragonis, you don't want to really associate yourself with the Pantheon anyway, so your input means even less. If being a god means I have to kill giant behemoths to protect ungrateful humans, than that is what I'm going to do. "

There was no chill for Cynbel right now. He was stressed as it was, but they had time. With enough time, he could think of a flawless plan to defeat to the beast.

As it turned out, someone left Olympus, and ended up getting attacked by Sithilerine. If that person survived this attack, they wouldn't survive the punishment Cynbel was going to give them.

" Okay, no time to plan. Everybody who is considered Merged, follow me. We're going to have to figure it out on the fly. Old Gods, you can stay around, maybe keep an eye on Cythlla. Masrith, open up one of your time portals, we'll travel there that way. I'll try my best to plan during the fight, and figure out how to kill him. Good luck to you all. "

Cynbel took a deep breath. This was going to be a long day.

@BKburke Lea was indeed effected by the roar causing great pain in his ears,He felt to the ground slowly getting up on his feet."Fool you call that magic...that was childs play compared to what i can conjure.." Lea grinned stomping the end of his staff into the ground making smoke coming out covering the two in smoke.Lea while engulfed in the smoke pulled out the bow of Athena pulling back the string letting the arrowhead fly towards Sithilerine's torso.

In combination to this he pulled out his staff shooting form his staff a few giant fireballs from all over him hoping to hit him.
