3)Characteristics
Background: Basil was born in a small town north of Vale, he was raised by his father, Vert Plagas, and his mother, Violet Plagas. His father taught him everything he knew about medicine and semblances. By the time he was 14 he took over his father's work as the town's only doctor. A few weeks after Basil took over his father's work the village was attacked by a roaming group of beowolves. They destroyed everything, very few of the townsfolk knew how to fight effectively and were slaughtered. Basil's mother was killed quickly, however the beowolves slashed at his father's thigh before a despatched team of huntsman brought it down. Basil thanked the huntsman and quickly checked on his father, however he realised he was bleeding out. With no medicine or bandages to help him Basil was forced to watch as his father bled out. This ignited a new hatred and passion in Basil. To hunt Grimm and anything that commits atrocities like this to the ends of the earth,he also became incredibly bitter and cold, shutting anyone out who tried to help him cope with his situation.
He used his newfound strengths to help him get into Signal academy Basil ,now fueled with anger and bitterness quickly advanced through Signal, using his new found offensive semblance to defeat most physical challenges and his intellect to breeze through tests. While he struggled with creating his weapons he eventually created an effective set of weapons after many attempts and called them "The Bone Sifters "

Short Description: An averaged size longsword and a sickle that can transform into a pistol.
Weapon Derivation: Combination of Ruby's scythe(only smaller) and Lie's SMG/knives
Holstered/Inactive Form: The sword is just sheathed. The sickle is a small cube, similar in looks to a phone with a small, sharp blade sticking out of the bottom left part of the cube.

Dust Capacity: Fire dust able to be used as incendiary rounds and ice dust can be used as freezing bullets
Ammunition: 9 bullets in a round.
Usage: User slips in and out of combat targeting pressure points and extremities on larger enemies and overwhelming enemies with a combination of ( Basil's in this case) semblance, the sword and pistol form sickle.
Planned/Possible Upgrades: Poison tipped blades , upgrading pistols to SMGs

Short Description: manipulates aura so the user emits a cloud of fog which, if it touches an enemy, will temporarily give them an affliction/disease.
Visual effect: A pale green mist rolling along the ground and gradually rising as a fight continues <semblance technicalities>
Type: Aural/physical Purpose: Offensive
Range: Medium (Aura keeps expanding until about 10 metres away from the user)
Other limitations: The mist is less effective on stronger enemies as it, at best, makes them erupt into a fit of coughing, only weak Grimm are effected and are only effected for a few seconds. Afflictions wear off if the opponent doesn't reenter the fog after a few minutes. The afflictions are not full diseases, merely symptoms of random diseases.
