I would like to apologise for how spotty my Iron Man knowledge is, since... it's all over the place. ^^;
And now I've finished it. :p
Real Name: Rosalie Appleby-Stark
Canon or OC: OC
Character Alignment (Hero, Villain, or Walking the Line): Hero
Appearance/Costume: Out of costume. And in costume. Origin/History of Your Character: Tony Stark's illegitimate daughter. For most of her life, neither she nor her father had the faintest clue they were related--though not knowing
of him would be rather... hard, to say the least. In fact, her mother only told her once she was certain that Rosalie was old enough to not go and do something stupid.
So she went and did something stupid: work out how to contact him immediately, then go through with it. However Rosalie pulled it off... it worked. To the extent of being recognised as his legal heir in the absence of anyone else.
That was not, however, why she got her hands on the suit. To put it simply: her body is a mess. A series of infections got out of hand, and whilst she recovered, plenty of damage was done; to the point where staying alive, let alone particularly functioning, is a gamble. Now, who has armour designed to be worn for long periods of time, and that can be repurposed into something more generally supportive? That she has the rest of it is more an accident than anything else: keying security on one model to the main chestpiece rather than fingerprints or the like was... bad.
Iron Man has been seen almost twice as often recently, many times in two places at once. She hasn't been called out on it... yet.
Powers and Abilities (If Any): None! Well, none superhero-related. She can cook. But it almost
always ends up ridiculously spicy.
Weapons (If Any): Some version of the Iron Man armour that--whilst fully functional--appears to have been designed as a prototype for
something and as such... was never really used. Really, it has the bare minimum: repulsors, flight, and... that's it. If there's anything more, it would use up so much power that Rosalie doesn't want to go near it. Makes a handy, if a bit suspicious, briefcase.
Supporting Cast (If Any): Nope! Well, theoretically yes, but like hell I would be able to play her family. >_>;
Other: She doesn't have much in the way of power or experience, so she's mostly been paying attention to small-time villains. Rosalie also definitely isn't as self-sacrificing as her father... which doesn't really say all that much. She just... isn't inclined to die.
Sample Post: And here it was: the ultimate challenge, greater than anything she had ever faced before. If she succeeded, her name would go down in history... and if she failed, Rosalie would look really damn stupid. Along with having to pay one hell of a lot. "Yes, I'm absolutely certain that I can eat the pizza by myself."
So, she sat at the table and waited, slowly gathering a crowd despite the time it would take just to
prepare the food. Still, how often did you see such a thin girl try and eat her way through such an enormous pizza? It was certainly going to be something unusual and thus people were getting a good view now.
Finally, it was brought out: enormous, sagging under its own weight, and covered in enough spicy toppings that one mouthful would make most people run screaming for water. It didn't even fit onto the table properly.
Rosalie dug into it with gusto. And kept at it, long after the point where people were checking to see that she was, in fact, eating the pizza and not just surreptitiously hiding it. Finally, long after it was cold and the table covered in crumbs and sauces, the girl rose from the table.
"Finished it."
