Sin stepped off the train and into New Republic Central Station. He had boarded the train in Zaofu last night at sundown. After saying goodbye to his family his mother had handed him a set of crystal chimes. He wasn't sure why, exactly, but she probably thought it would remind him of home. He hadn't gotten a chance to play them yet, but maybe he would get a chance soon.

Sin walked up the stairs to a vendor stall on the surface. "Excuse me. Can you tell me where the White Lotus recruitment office is?" She gave him directions and five minutes later he walked inside. "Excuse me, sir. My name is Sin."

"Down the hall, second door on the left." said the man.

Sin assumed he had just met so many volunteers that he recognized them when they walk in. He walked down the hall and entered the door the man had directed him to. Inside was a man at a table with a signup sheet in front of him and another door. "Welcome to the New Republic/White Lotus recruitment center. Are you here to join up?"

"Yes" he said, and was handed a clipboard with "Possible Recruit List" written at the top of it. He wrote his name beside the number 11 and was handed a vest with "11" on the back and chest.

"Just put that on and go inside." He pointed to the other door. Sin walked through the door and into room with a fighting area in the middle. It was set up like the inner zones of pro-bending arena, complete with stone disks and water trays.

Two fire benders were in the arena currently, throwing fire punches and lightning bolts at each other. Sin walked over to the wall, set his bags down, and walked to the commander. "Sir, I came to sign up for the fight against Kuvira and the Red Lotus."

"Good," he said. "As soon as these guys are done I'll throw you in the ring." Since the commander apparently wasn't interested in talking to the recruits, Sin sat down and waited his turn.

This was not a happy time to grow up. Especially for a girl like Aiza. At seventeen she had never known what a time of peace was like. What would her life had been like if she hadn't been fighting to survive her entire life. She was all alone in her little hidden home, keeping herself in the shadows and making sure the people in the area stayed as safe as they could be. But now was the time to step forward and fight. Aiza had heard people talking about how the White Lotus was recruiting people today. It was her chance to fight as a part of something. The only problem was people, she might be a part of squad or something like that, and she didn't play well with others. Mostly because the only person she could ever rely on growing up was herself. But that shouldn't stop her from helping. She didn't want the next generation to grow up like she had.

After tucking her coin purse into her pants, Aiza crawled out of her little home and started on her way to the recruitment office. A fake confident grin was plastered to her face, and she walked as if she owned the place. Even if she really didn't, she could act like she knew what she doing. The walk was going to take her a little while, the recruitment office was a bit far from her home, and she didn't have a schmancy car, or a none schmancy car for that matter. It took even longer cause she got distracted by a couple of benders in a mock battle.

Finally, Aiza made it to the office and walked inside confidently, picking a random direction, she started going to the right. "Recruitment is left." The man at the front said.

Aiza turned on her heels and started going left. "I knew that." She said with a stupid grin.

It was pretty straightforward after that and she soon found her path blocked by a guy at a table. She eyed the guy warily, who welcomed her and asked if she was here to sign up. "Uh, duh, why else would I be here?" She said with a shrug.

The guy just shook his head and handed her a clipboard. She wrote her name down on the 12 spot in her usual, barely readable, chicken scratch and gave the clipboard back. The guy gave her a vest and told her to go on through. Aiza grumbled as she put on the vest and walked into the other room. She stopped by the entrance to watch a pair of Firebenders who were going at it in an arena like area. She scoffed at their movements though. They looked so ridged and stiff, nothing like her own fighting style. But then again, Aiza-fu could only be explained as a sporadic mess, a tough mess to predict and beat, but still a mess.

Aiza walked over to where two other people were, one looked like they were in charge, the other didn't. She addressed the one who looked like they were in charge. "You know those two suck right?" She said completely seriously, to which she got no reply. With a shrug she went over to the other guy. She nodded her head upward, "Sup. You here for the cookoff? Whichever one of them loses gets roasted and we get to eat them." She said out of nowhere. Ah, there was the crazy in her family coming out. She didn't know WHY she said that, she just felt like she should. The scary part was, her fire wasn't even blue yet. Apparently you could tell when a woman in her family was really starting to lose it when their fire turned blue. Which terrified her because it meant she could get even worse than she already was.

Sorin gulped, he stepped off the train looking around in awe. His home had always seemed so distant from everything else, now he was here. He had picked up a map of the city and made a notes from what locals had told him on how to find the recruiting office. Carefully he made his way down the halls, turning right finding the office. "Hello, I'm here to sign up... This the White Lotus recruiting center correct?" He added nervously.

Sorin signed his name and soon had his vest on, thirteen an unlucky number. He hoped he wouldn't fail, he just wanted to heal other to fight. Though he would if he had to, for others not himself. No better way to stop wounds than prevent what causes them... Right? His mind wandered as he shuffled in quietly and took a seat next to girl who looked quiet tough.

He stared down at his shoes pulling some water out of one of his flasks he began to form a little ice sculpture. He liked to do it, most for the challenge art if he could make it life like. He began to work on one of the Avatar's, the one who had died most recently. She was remembered fondly among the water benders, even if she had been unorthodox she had been the Avatar. Slowly it began to take shape, he began on her profile and then her face and hair. He had seen painting of her and some sculptures he hoped his wasn't bad.

Carefully he finished the little Avatar statue and smiled. It was nice even though it would melt it reminded him why he was here. Why even one person can make all the difference in the world. He sighed then looked back at the arena, he'd succeed then show them his talent as a healer. He hoped he could make even a small difference, then maybe he could matter to the world.

Seth sat in one of the benches watching the two fire benders train. They had spunk, but also were making a few mistakes that could get hem killed in a real fight. He had gotten to Republic City earlier that day and the nostalgia flowed back as he walked down the streets towards the recruitment office. The memories of the Fireflies, his friends, and the pro-bending matches made him almost miss the office. It would have been great to visit his two pro-bending partners, but he wasn’t there to sight see. He was ordered to help the white lotus keep the peace against the red lotus. Once he showed the man at the desk his papers from the Fire nations he sat down and watched the match between the two fire benders.

“They have heart, but could use a little more work on their techniques,” Seth muttered to himself as he watched more recruits walk in. he rubbed his eyes and sighed, “I understand the need to stop the Red lotus, but o throw such young individuals into the fire.” Seth stood up and walked closer to the match to get a better look when he heard a girl talk about how bad the two were fighting. Is that? No, she’s too young to be her. I must be getting old if my eyes are playing tricks on me like this. Seth thought.

“It’s not that they’re bad at their skills, it’s just they’re training. Should they mortally wound the other then we’re a man down against the Red Lotus,” Seth explained to the girl just before she went off on talking about roasting one of the fighters and eating them. Seth shook his head and added, “Should have known you’re a fan of Azula. You look just like her, but I figured my eyes were playing tricks on me. Word to the wise: you can idolize her, but acting like here will get you weird looks. Many of the soldiers look up to both her and her brother since they’re the most powerful fire benders out there. So I get where you’re coming from, but I wouldn’t act like her. You’re already in the fire by fighting the Red lotus. Don’t throw your life away just to idolize someone else.”

Sin was a bit surprised by the girl's suggestion that they eat someone, but he assumed that she was joking. At least he thought that until the Elder soldier started talking about her emulating Azula. If she was trying to be like Lord Zuko's sister, she might actually do something like that. From what he'd heard, she was crazier than a drunken badger-rabbit.

He also noticed a water bender that sculpted a statue out of water he carried with him. Good, he thought, he wasn't the only artist that had decided to help defend their people. He walked over to the man. "Hi, I'm Sin Bei Fong of Zaofu. It's nice to see another artist has come to join the fight. I was worried that everyone here would be uncultured brutes."

Just then one of the guys on the field launch a lightning bolt at the other fighter which the second fighter failed to dodge completely. It hit him on the shoulder and sparks shot across his chest briefly, throwing him backward. "Medic!" the attacking fire bender called out.

"STOP HIM!!! THAT GUY STOLE MY WALLET!!!" The surprisingly shrill voice of the well dressed mustachioed man cut through the mummer of the crowd he was currently muscling his way through, though with his thin frame he was more being pushed through the crowd rather than actually pushing through it. Just a few yards ahead of the shrieking fellow a young man was in a full sprint, weaving in between the other people that cluttered the streets. The young man had a delighted smirk on his face as he looked over his shoulder for a moment to catch the sight of the bellowing, mustache brandishing gentleman tripping over his own feet in his feeble attempt in pursuing his lost wallet. "Sorry about this, but I really am short a few bucks." The black haired lad called back just before he made a quick turn down a side ally and escaped the public eye.

"Hmmm not a bad score..." The emerald eyed thief spoke to himself as he counted the contents of the ill-gotten wallet, which he eventually dumped into a near by dumpster before he stuffed the money he picked from it into one of the many pockets that lined the inside of his jacket. "I guess now since the fun is over, it is time to get to business." He said with a sigh as he started to head towards the end of the ally, reaching back into his pocket and pulling out what looked like a light blue crystal that he quickly popped into his mouth and crunched down on. "I hope I don't regret this." He said, a number of blue shards spewing out of his mouth as he did so.

It seemed like mere moments before the trench coat wearing youth made it to the building that seemed to be the center of attention today in Republic City. "Well here goes nothing... or rather everything." He said as he walked up the stairs and into the building. He quickly navigated himself around and over into the room that was getting the most use, the White Lotus recruiting office. After waiting for the man behind the desk to pull himself away from the radio, apparently he was listening to some talk show. "Movers are so much better..." The boy muttered to himself before being handed a clip board to write his name and a vest with the number fourteen on it. After strapping on the vest, managing to put it under his trench coat, the lad walked into the room he was directed to and it seemed that there was some sort of sparing match going on. "Oh great are the hot heads already trying to set fire to each other? I would of sworn we would of at least gotten a day or two in before that happened." He said with a smirk, not paying much attention to if anyone was near by. Such smart mouthed comments were very common for this young man, though what else could be expected from the traveling pickpocket that was Jay?

When he looked up at the Bei Fong he saw the Fire bender talk the Lightning across the shoulder he knew it was bad. He jumped off using the water to push off he landed by the bender. Carefully he removed the armor and set to work, lightning was dangerous he'd been taught how to deal with however. Placing a hand over the benders heart he made sure to keep it beating next he work worked on the nerve damages moving the water over carefully finding hot spots, lucky he'd grounded himself so he wouldn't get shocked.

Next he began to heal the flesh itself, carefully he used water to seal the wound and try to fix the damage to the shoulder itself it would need a weeks rest but he would be have full motor control of it. "He's fine, now at least his arm needs a weeks recovery and shouldn't bend with it for two weeks at least. However I've stopped the nerve damage and any chance at it giving him heart problems." He stood up carefully. "Oh umm, hello I'm Sorin... I wanted to join as a healer." He blushed a little as he looked back towards the group, he'd kind of forgotten proper manners, worried that if he didn't hurry the man might suffer long term effects.

Aiza rolled her eyes when some old guy walked up and started trying to correct her. It was all a matter of opinion, and to her, those guys sucked. She hated it when people did that, the old guy didn't have any reason or right to do it except the fact that he thought he was better than her. That's why she didn't like people trying to 'teach' her. Most of the time it was for their own gain and not hers. She was also highly disappointed by the guy's reaction to her cookout speech. He had the gall to just get up and leave. Apparently the White Lotus was full of prudes and pushy old men. Aiza was starting to regret her decision to leave her makeshift home.

The old guy started talking, again. It took every bit of self control Aiza had not to light his ass on fire. As it was, she still reacted poorly. How dare he talk to her about things he knew nothing about. Aiza shot up to her feet and shoved a finger in the old guy's face. "Now let me give you a word of advice. Don't judge people before you know them. I'm not a fan of Azula, and I am NOTHING like her, got that? I'm my own special brand of crazy." It would have gone on longer, but suddenly someone was screaming for a medic. Aiza ignored the old guy and looked around him to see one of the Firebenders in the arena area go down. She hadn't seen what had happened, but apparently it was bad enough to call in a healer.

One of the recruits suddenly leaped up, literally, in the air, with water, and was on the job in an instant. Aiza watched intently and curiously as the Waterbending boy healed the injury left on the Firebender. When he was done, he stood embarrassed and introduced himself. Aiza decided to either make him even more embarrassed, or relax, it could go either way. She started clapping very loudly as she stepped away from the old guy a bit. "Bravo, bravo! That was amazing! If I light the old guy's ass on fire, could we get an encore?" She said, grinning like the idiot she probably was. Crazy as she was, she truly was impressed. Waterbending was so cool if you could use it heal like that. All she could do was burn things. Well, and sense chi, but that wasn't nearly as useful.

Whatever Seth said must have struck a cord with the young fire bender since she told him she was her own brand of crazy. It wasn’t his intent to disrespect the young women. He sighed and rubbed his eyes before he said, “I’m sorry Ms. If I disrespected you. However, I’ve seen so many youthful soldiers like yourself you thinks acting crazy and powerful will help them get through the battle. Do you know how many survived with that kind of thinking? I can’t tell you how much it hurts just to watch children, teens, young adults be placed in body bags because they didn’t think.” His train of thought was broken when he saw one of the fire benders use lightning, to which the other couldn’t redirect and get hit. He sighed and stood up straight from leaning on the railing after the water bender healed one of the fire benders.

“Listen up you two!” Seth yelled towards the two fire benders in a stern voice before he continued, “Lightning is not something you can just wield and think nothing of it. Lightning bending is the third hardest bending in the entire world. It’s both powerful and unpredictable. You think it’s just another bending ability when in reality you are gifted with the ability by nature itself. Out of all the fire benders only a select few could lightning bend. Even Aang had trouble learning how to wield such uncontrollable power and he was the Avatar. Do not wield something you don’t not understand or respect.” Over the years Seth watched so many of the solders try to lightning bend only to either be hurt or worse.

“Also, you are training! That means you shouldn’t try to mortally wound one another. You’re lucky this time, but next time think before you act. Winning a war is not about how powerful you are, but if your strategy is better than your enemy’s. Plus if one of you is hospitalized we’ll be a man down and greatly outnumbered by the Red Lotus. Every single solder has a role to play in bringing back the peace. No matter how small,” Seth said. he didn’t like scolding others, but over the years it helped keep people safe and if it meant being the bad guy to save lives. He’s gladly be the bed guy.

“I suggest you check your attitude Ms. Fire Bender, “ Seth said to Aiza before he added, “Because someone like you will get people killed. A lot of people killed.”

A Heler ran over to the now healed man and examined the wound. "Nice work," he said, "I couldn't have done better without spirit water." He put a sling around the man's neck so that he wouldn't move his arm and helped him stand up so that he could leave the field.

The Commander looked at the water bender that had healed the injured man. "Number 13, medic, accepted. Reserves." He then looked at the two former combatants. "Number 7, fire bender, accepted." he said, writing something on a clipboard. "I'm placing you on medical leave for the next two weeks." He looked at the other fighter, the one who had injured his opponent. "Number nine, fire bender, also accepted, though I'm placing you in a safety course so that you can learn to properly control your abilities. Now, who's next?"

Sin walk over to him. "I am." he said.

"Name, bending/fighting type, and position you want?"

"Sin Bei Fong, Earth/lava, and I want to be on the front lines, sir." he responded. There was no going back now, not that he wanted to.

"Lava, huh?" the Commander responded. "In that case, don't lava bend the court. It's a pain to try an fix it. Use the stone disks instead."

Sin nodded and walked into the arena. When his sparing partner was also ready, the Commander yelled "fight" and Sin lifted up two stone disks, spinning them and turning them into lava. Before he could throw them to distract his enemy, however, a siren sounded and the Commander ordered him to stop.

"Air raid." the Commander said. "Look's like Kuvira's jet planes managed to get past our defenses again. Alright then, recruits, it looks like you get to prove your skills in the field. We're going to take down those bombers before they level part of the city, as well as any ground troops they decided to parachute in during the confusion. Put on your vests and head outside." With that he motioned towards an open duffle bag and a set of metal armor jumped out of it and onto him. "Well, what are you waiting for?" he said to the stragglers, "Let's move it!"

Sin turned his two spinning lava disks into pumice and let them fall. He then ran towards the exit door, leaving his belongings here. He doubted he'd need a drawing book in a fight.

Sorin was a little embarrassed at the girl applauding his skills, he turned a little redder, somehow yet then the older man spoke up. Using his water to slingshot himself back over he looked at the man. "Hey it's not her fault for being who she is. Everyone is who they are you saying that's she just going get people killed is just being mean." The waterbender was not one to let others be berated. "She's here and that means she's selfless enough to want to fight for the White Lotus. I suggest you quit acting so high and mighty." He stated moving to stand by the other recruits.

Sorin was happy to be accepted, however he was less thrilled that he would be in reserves. The people who got hurt were on the front line and healing was most effect the sooner he got their. When the siren sounder he jumped a little and looked at the armor, he didn't water that it would slow him down and he needed to be able to move. "We should get moving." He stated as he started for the door. He hoped they could stop them, no one should die today.

The old guy was really starting to piss Aiza off. He obviously thought that his age made him better than everyone else. But what gave him the right to tell everyone off like that? Not even a member of White Lotus yet, and she already had her first enemy. Aiza decided that she definitely hated the old guy, and anybody else who acted like him. He didn't know what he was talking about anyway, she had never gotten anyone killed before. In fact, she had gotten roughed up making sure people didn't get killed. Aiza puffed her chest up and was about to give the old guy what he deserved when the most amazing thing happened. Somebody actually stood up for her.

Aiza couldn't help but just stand there in shock as the Waterbending boy, Sorin, went over to the old guy. Sorin actually told the old guy off, calling him mean and high and mighty. It was a little weird, but touching, very touching. The Firebender couldn't help the smile that appeared on her face. That was probably the first time in her life somebody had stood up for her, and not just joined the side against her. Aiza decided right away that she liked Sorin and was really happy for him when he got accepted. Now it was her turn. But before any more matches could start, a siren started going off. Apparently their test would be on the battlefield.

Aiza ran to catch up with Sorin. "Hey uh, thanks for standing up for me. Nobody's ever done that before. My name is Aiza by the way." She said, not even adding anything crazy afterwards. A million stupid things popped into her head to say, but nothing seemed right. So for once in her life, she kept her thoughts to herself. Her heart was beating faster than normal, out of excitement, and maybe a little fear. Her first real battle. Sure she had fought before, but those were just skirmishes. Now was the time to test how Aiza-fu did against real, trained soldiers.

Seth sighed and walked away from Aiza. Why can’t these kids see I’m just looking out for them? It’s not like asking them to think and be safe is asking a lot. Seth thought. All Seth really wanted to insure all the younger solders had a future ahead of them. However, he didn’t realize he wasn’t talking to normal solders, but ordinary people who wanted peace. He also didn’t realize that when he talked to people he acted preachy and would sometimes sound like he was better than everyone else; even though he didn’t mean to. When Seth heard the commander talk about an air strike and that they were moving. He walked over to the commander and saluted.

“Seth Rush, lieutenant of the Fifth division of the Fire nation Army reporting sir,” Seth said to the commander before he added, “Did the letter from the Fire Lord reach your desk about my involvement to help White Lotus against Red Lotus sir? If so where would you like me to be and how can I help?”

"Well this has to be a great start to things right? Hot heads frying each other on second, enemy forces invading the city the next. I mean what's not to love?" Jay said with a role of his eyes as the alarms blared around him and the others. He let out a sigh as the others started to rush past him to meet the army troops that were undoubtedly being dropped into the city at that very moment. "What did you get yourself into Jay?" He muttered aloud with a shake of his head as he started to fallow after the others. "If any of you guys manage to get caught in any of Kuvira's blunder squad's traps let me know. I will be more than happy to save your hides... this time." He called out half jokingly. He placed his hands leisurely behind his head as he fallowed the group of recruits that that hustled out.

Sorin smiled at the girl as they raced out of the building. "No problem, I never had anyone do anything like that for me either. Figured I should stand up to anyone who tries to be mean to the other recruits." He turned and rushed out the door, first ducking as he heard an explosion he reached using all three of his water pouches her quickly sliced at a plane that dove in. He struck the wing and it spun.

Next he used water to carve out a deep ditch in the ground making a fox hole for the wounded. "All medics over here, we use this to treat the wound and protect ourselves." He yelled a couple more falling back. Using his own water he formed an ice shell over the fox hole. It was a Northern water tribe tactic used during the siege of the North pole. He looked at Aiza. "Would you mind protect our little shelter, I don't think they'll attack but I'm not not great at fighting and most of my water is being used to protect the medics.

Ducking into the shelter and quickly began to heal with the healing, starting with the most injured letting surgeons deal with them after they were stable. Why did war have to be so deadly? He asked himself, everything here scared him yet the fear of letting these people die, that scared him more.

Aiza slid to a halt once they were outside, grinning at the chaos around her. Sure war was a terrible thing and all that, but when everything around her was going to hell, her head felt the most clear. An explosion hit nearby and her head snapped around to see a plane flying overhead. Sorin reacted first and sent it spinning, but it wasn't down yet. Aiza jumped into the air and snapped a kick out, launching a fireball straight at the plane. That finished it off. There didn't seem to be a whole lot happening in this particular area, most of the fighting must have been happening somewhere else.

Aiza turned back to Sorin when the Waterbender spoke. He was going to trust her with protecting the medics and the wounded? It wasn't the frontlines action she had been looking for. But hey, it was important, and somebody had asked her personally. "Of course!" She said, giving Sorin a thumbs up. "You can count on me." Aiza dropped into a battle stance, one that made her a lot more agile and light footed than those two Firebenders who had been sparring before. Anything that tried to come near the medics was going to get burned. Well, maybe not everything. If the White Lotus came near they would be spared from Aiza-fu.

Another plane flew overhead, trying to drop an explosive on the ice shell. Aiza reacted immediately, doing a quick, kick punch combination and sent a couple of fireballs at the explosive, setting it off before it could get near the medics and the injured. "Take that Mr. High and Mighty old man! You see this, I'm saving lives not getting them killed!" She yelled at the sky, before returning her focus to the battlefield. She really wasn't needed much right now. As long as no bad guys tried to come at the medics, all she could do was stand there and look pretty. Which she wasn't doing a good job at in the slightest.

Sin ran outside to see the others knocking planes out of the sky. Not bad. He thought. As one of the planes approached, preparing to drop it's bombs, however, he saw some civilians exiting a building. He quickly ran over and threw up a large slab of stone on the plane's side of them, and a second later debris from and explosion impacted the barrier.

"Get to your shelters." he said to them. What were they doing in the streets during an air raid anyway? One of them even had a gash on their forehead from before they exited the building. "The medics are over there." he said, pointing to the ice wall.

The plane was making another pass however, so he ignored the civilians and threw a series of small stones into its path. One of them entered its engine and destroyed it, causing the plane to crash and the pilot to bail out right on top of them.

Seth ran outside to join the others. He had his orders: protect the civilians and takeout the planes. It wasn’t the first time he had to deal with enemies in the air and he watched as the rest of the members of white lotus took out the planes. They’re not bad and knew what they’re doing. That’s a good thing. Seth thought. The healers were helping the injured so Seth drew his attention to a plane over head. Time to show this old man still has some spring left in his step. Seth quickly jumped into the air and quickly threw two jabs into the air as fire burst from his fists. The flames flew through the air before changing shape to resemble two spears. The two flame spears hit the right engine causing it to fail and the plane started to descend.

He knew the pilot would eject which eased his mind, but after a few seconds the pilot didn’t. Come on, come on. What the hell are you doing? Seth thought as he watched the plane descend further before he yelled, “Damn it eject you moron!” the top of the cockpit flew off and the pilot finally ejected from the plane.

“That was close. Damn idiot,” Seth sighed in relief. He noticed another plane making its rounds and did the same thing with the first plane. He shot two flames that changed into spear shape and hit an engine. It seemed he kept his flames to keep from blowing up the actual planes so the pilot could eject safely.

“This is weird, did they actually think just an air strike would work?” Seth questioned before another thought entered his mind, “Crap, please don’t let this be a decoy.” Seth noticed another plane and quickly took care of it. if this is really a decoy, then what is the real plan? Seth thought.

Sorin took a deep breath more wounded were coming and however other medics had arrived. He reinforcing has ice shell then he stepped over to the a small abandoned fountain collecting more water from it carefully. Looking back at he knew the ones who made it here were lucky. "We should go look for others, move and take down plans. The medics here can treat the wounded, more than likely their are probably still people out their who can't reach us." Sorin said as he started down the street looking for people.

Sorin looked back Aiza. "You want to come with me? I'm sure theirs going to be more fighting ahead, we can work together to drive them back if you like." Stated the young boy as he stepped slowly down the street keep a sort of water shield in front of him. "Let me know if you-" He saw a plane coming right at them, releasing it's payload his mind didn't understand but his body did. Making the water into ice he shoved it upwards and into the bomb. Detonating in the air close enough to scare the pilot off. Putting the water back into the jugs careful he gave himself a soft smile. He might not be a good fighter but he could protect just fine.

When the pilot landed Sin immediately attempted to trap him in stone, only to have him backflip out of the way while removing his parachute. The pilot ran at Sin, dodging any attacks Sin threw at him. Sin attempted to trade blows with him, but the man was too nimble and dodged any bending or normal attacks Sin used. Eventually Sin lost the initiative and went on the defensive. This was what the enemy was waiting for. As soon as he saw an opening the enemy pilot struck Sin in several pressure points. Sin instantly felt weaker, but he was determined to beat the man.

If the man could dodge stones, maybe Sin needed to change the field to turn things in his favor. He punched the ground to turn it to Lava, but nothing happened. He tried again, but still nothing. That's when Sin understood the reason the Pilot was such a good fighter. "Chi-blocker!" he called out.
