@Azseth Most of us have gone our own ways, however myself and Tomahawk have written our characters as one giant 60 page collab. It just feels as if we've gotten too far with the characters and that it'd be extremely weird to have to re-write them from the beginning. It was meant as no disrespect to you, I thoroughly enjoyed this RP when it started. I suppose I'm just trying to justify why the two of us at least won't be coming back to this RP.

I thought you've been banned or something? Anyway, I've decided to give roleplaying a go again. I've thought of some good characters, but I could always go back to using the original one.

Here's what I got:

- A Chinese Triad member who works as a metal worker by day and shaking people up for money by night. On the right, he's fiercely loyal (if you can gain his trust), but on the left he can be brutal, ruthless and quick to mess up anyone he doesn't consider to be one of his.

- A 20 year old gangster punk who's a real asshole. His only redeeming quality is that he'd be a minion to whoever's shown himself to be in charge, making him pliable and giving him a real possibility for change and improvement as a character (or he'd descend into worse immorality if he's following another gang boss), though he tends to be overzealous.

- Hmm... Or maybe I could go with the Japanese JSDF medical officer, who was on a military exchange programme during the zombie apocalypse, and when things turned bad, got stranded. He's going to be highly dependable, versatile, disciplined and selfless, but he's a long way from home therefore a little withdrawn, depressed and suicidal.

- Or I could just go with the original. A 10 (and a half) year old kid who'd lost everyone, and as a result suffered things a kid shouldn't have throughout her ordeal in the outside world. Adaptable with so much room to grow, surprisingly independent, but also unstable and liable to snap.

Managed to dream up two more ideas...

- A Sikh convenience store owner who was about to turn his single store into a chain when the apocalypse hit. He's an asset when it comes to negotiation, but he has little experience when it comes to fighting - he's a lousy shot.

- Can I play as Rick Grimes? (j/k, just can't remember another idea I had.)

- A Singaporean conscript sent in on military exchange with the US. Has quality and high tech gear, but begins mentally broken and in the abyss where morale is concerned due to recent defeat and being thousands of miles from home.

His ban was lifted. Some clever talking and a few misunderstandings and things.

Dark, for your character(s) I'll say this: I recommend 2 characters, if you're comfortable with it, and then choose one you think you'll be able to ride out long term, will not get bored of, and will enjoy playing and developing.

All of those seem fun and unique (aside from the kid, I HATE RPing as kids myself, haha), so I wouldn't know which to choose honestly. Good luck in the decision, ha.

Reason for government interest: Jeremy was a Singaporean soldier, one in a company of them, flown in as part of a bilateral deal to observe the CDC project and replicate it back at home. A hidden part of that deal, however, was that the US kidnaps Jeremy Lai for the project to act as both ambassador to Singapore and the CDC project's doctor.

Gear: As a medical officer from one of the most advanced military unit in the world, Jeremy is kitted out in the most modern of military gear, as well as some that was next-generation:

Equipment:
- Military helmet, pixellated camouflage for woodlands.
- Combat goggles.
- Loadbearing vest with pouches and kevlar plating.
- L-torch with USB port.
- Elbow guards.
- SPES-016a, an exoskeleton suit wrapped around the legs for increased soldier carry capacity and reduced combat fatigue.
- SPES-016b, a solar panel mounted on Jeremy's backpack used to power all electronic devices on him.
- ACMS system, an older future warrior project coupled with the SPES-016 that has an on-board computer on the forearm with GPS and a doctor's buddy and a backup small-formed laptop, a power pack for storing power derived from solar panel, wireless radio, full color OLED based helmet mounted display, weapon-mounted camera with an ITL MARS reflex sight.
- Advance medical officer's fieldpack, with medical and personal supplies. Has a Singapore flag for symbolic and signalling purposes.

Weapons:
- SAR-21, modded with bayonet and connected to the ACMS system.
- P226 pistol.

Personality/Bio: For all his next-gen equipment, Jeremy Lai was a broken individual. He was nearing the end of his military obligations when he was sent overseas - he was too good a medical officer to pass up, and when he was kidnapped and put in the CDC, he became depressed and nearly suicidal as the days went by, knowing that he was halfway across the globe from home and girlfriend, knowing that the chances that he would return to Singapore was slim to nil. As a result, he was unmotivated, always thinking about ending it all. Before, he was a reluctant decision-maker. Now, he didn't even want to touch any decisions with a flagpole.

Once upon a time he was full of hope, wanting to start a family and his own general clinic, have kids and settle down. He loved being a doctor, and he was smart enough, which explains why he was able to make it through medical school, even if he wasn't top of the class. He was born to a traditional family that was getting on with the times, but for the life of them couldn't see why the military was so bad, not like Jeremy thought so. This had been a constant point of friction between him and his parents.

So I take it that this RP flatlined after a failed resuscitation?

Az is just dealing with his daughters, he'll get to us. Just be patient.

I don't fail. I just get overwhelmed with life sometimes. The holidays are a lot, mentally and in terms of time.

Sorry. So soon I'll get an idea out there as to where we'll start, but the common idea seemed to be a restart.
