I think I'm going to make a Steel Brotherhood Senior Knight who leads a squad on a mission to Vault 17 in regards to the vaults robotic technology, if that's OK with @TheUnknowable.

Should be interesting if allowed, and give opportunities to interact with other players easily.

That would be fine, but in order for him to go inside he's going to have to have a few scribes help him hack his implant. It currently won't let him reenter the vault.

Hey, why are you assuming 'he' :P, it's a she just so you know. Women can join the brotherhood too! ;) (though given the name I can see why people would first think of a man.)

Anyway sure, I'm currently thinking about how they would learn of the Vault, probably from one of the survivors, then the mission would go through. It's also open to any other people interested in joining who want to have a brotherhood character.

I just imagine it would be a perfect intro quest since it would lead to interacting with most if not all the OPC's posted thus far organically without feeling forced. Your PC, and that'Par'Rapids book runner.

Edit: @Madly33 Btw, what do the stats stand for exactly?

@GreivousKhan
I'm assuming you meant stats XD
But they just give alittle bit of a role play aspect in what your character is capable of, so if you have a 9 in strength but a 4 in endurance your character could be taking a lot of hits and carrimg a lot of things around but you wouldn't say your character can sprint everywhere. Or if they have a 4 in int you wouldn't have your character come up with a master plan in seconds.

@GreivousKhanSorry. Most of the people in the brotherhood seemed to be men, especially the soldiers, so I just assumed.

Or maybe I did mean States!! DUNDUDUDNUUNNN! :P

Anyway I think I got that, I just remembering the stats being slightly different for each game. (at least for 3 and New Vegas, especially number 4 that's coming out)

Though I guess the main meaning has stayed mostly the same.

@TheUnknowable I'm just Joshing you. My favorite Brotherhood character (and follower) was Star Paladin Cross. (oddly I think all of the followers are female, odd)

Anyway, I'll probably start the RP with a mission to find your character in order to gain access to the vault.

Name: Ellen Collins and Sage
Age: 15 and Unknown
Race: Human and Super Mutant

Looks:

Personality: Ellen is a strong willed, clever young woman. She is always looking to turn any situation to her advantage. Sage, for his part is, a quiet and gentle soul. He dislikes violence, but is more than willing to act in defence of Ellen. Strangely, if Ellen is not in danger, he won't try to defend himself.

Faction: Wastelanders

S.P.E.C.I.A.L
Ellen
Strength: 2
Perception: 8
Endurance: 4
Charisma: 7
Intelligence: 8
Agility: 6
Luck: 7

Sage
Strength: 10
Perception: 4
Endurance: 10
Charisma: 3
Intelligence: 6
Agility: 5
Luck: 4

Backstory: Ellen's mother was a whore, working the seediest side of Old Man's Corner. She never knew who her father was. Ellen grew up in the whorehouse, cared for by the other hookers as much as her own mother. But when her mother died from a chem overdose, Ellen lost some of her protection from the darkside of Old Man's Corner. Ellen was a growing girl, and the owner of the whorehouse began to see her as a good replacement for her mother. Warned of the man's plans by the other hookers, Ellen took what she could and ran. She had very little chance of surviving the wasteland, but anything was better than following in her mother's footsteps.

Ellen would have died in the wastes had she not met Sage. When taking shelter in a collapsed tunnel, Ellen found herself suddenly surrounded by the pack of wild hungry dogs. The mutts were moments away from tearing her to pieces when the hulking figure of a giant cloaked in a huge overcoat, his head covered by an old breathing mask, came charging in to her rescue. Stomping two dogs under foot and driving the rest off. Sage, an intelligent, but silent, Super Mutant had saved Ellen's life. However it quickly became apparent that he had little regard for his own safety. Ellen decided that it would be best for the both of them if they stuck together. With his strength covering her weakness, and her cleverness making up for his pacifist nature, they made a decent team.

For almost two years since their meeting, Ellen and Sage have worked together, making a living by scavenging anything they can from the ruins, tech, scrap, and even chems, and selling them to whoever will buy.

Weapon choice: Ellen uses an old Chinese Pistol and Sage uses his fists.

Any other info not included in the above: Sage almost never speaks, due to his mutations making the act very painful for him.

I might make a character..dunno. Seems interesting enough. It'll probably be Enclave, if that's alright.

What weapons are allowed? Cause I know there are some OP ones.

@Letter Bee
Well In the fallout universe most the cars were powered by nuclear energy (See why we are in a fallout XD) but I mean I guess I dont see why not, you character is smart could invent it in a time of need, as long as it doesnt interfere with anything else on the world and isnt like travel at the speed of light never breaks, its a car so in a post-apocalyptic environment, its gonna have some problems.

Awesome :D

@Shikaru
you would be more than welcome to make an Enclave, no one has made one yet.
And all the weapons from the Fallout universe are allowed except say like the Fatboy etc. There will be no like one weapon to rule them all so if you want to be a sniper you will be just as important in the world as a run and gun type of guy.

Thanks! And, yes, it would have problems, like the sun not shining.

I just don't like having to deal with stinky, smelly, Brahmin as other than food.

Look at modern solar vehicles. Only small, lightweight vehicles can run completely on solar power, and then are relatively slow. A truck would be much larger and heavier. If the solar panel recharged energy cells and then you ran off of energy cells it would make more sense, but in that case it would be more of an electric car than a solar car.
